Fantastic experience: Our party of 4 had a wonderful time in Cortona, Italy. Federica did an amazing job of helping me organize all our activities as well as places to see and eat in the area. It wouldn't have been nearly as enjoyable without her help, especially since she a local. All my (many) questions were answered timely and completely. I couldn't be happier.

Fantastic experience: We were fortunate to be able to experience this carefully curated package through Sojurn Ventures! Little did I know just how good it would be! We were greeted in Cortona with a big hug from the property owner, who, just as was billed in the package, generously shared his vegetable gardens with us for cooking! We had the pleasure of using an authentically Tuscan and modern kitchen to enhance our meals at this particular property. The property was nicely located and well-appointed! The best part was sharing food and stories over the table! I know this was the first experience we had with a package through Sojurn Ventures, but can enthusiastically recommend them for the quality of the experience! We hope to return!!

Fantastic experience: Casa Antonella in Cortona is the perfect place to stay and enjoy your time the Tuscany region of Italy. The well appointed, and air-conditioned apartment is in a prime location just steps away from the towns main piazza, Piazza della Repubblica, where the towns clock and bell tower stand. It is a fantastic place to gather and savor the ambiance of this beautiful historic town. There you can enjoy the flavors of this beautiful region at a nearby cafe' or restaurant, along with a glass of wine, wonderful pastries with a morning cappuccino (which are included in your stay!) or just relax and people watch as this is the heart of Cortona. Also very close is the town's other main piazza, Piazza Signorelli, where likewise there are many fine restaurants and shops. Piazza Signorelli is also where they hold outdoor music concerts, as well as a local farmers/craft market on Saturdays. The local partners in Cortona; Gloria and Federica will take care of all your needs from start to finish, and help you plan exciting adventures like cooking classes, (Chef Christina was absolutely amazing!) wine tours, bike tours, they even manage your transportation needs, they are there to assist you in having absolutely the greatest experience. I could rave on and on about this wonderfully special place; The MEAC museum with all of its local history, or the Art Gallery with work from the likes of Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dali, but there is so much more, it would best to be experienced on your own. So don't hesitate to contact Sojourn Ventures for a truly magnificent visit that you will cherish for a lifetime.

Fantastic experience: As the Director of Philanthropy and Development and an 18-year veteran with my non-profit organization, I would like to sing praises of the perfect experience we have had with Sojourn. Working with Elizabeth West has been a warm, accommodating, and consistently available experience. The properties are beautiful and unique in highly desirable areas that are exciting to our supporters and event attendees. Elizabeth had our auction winner guests starting to schedule the day she received their contact information, which DOES NOT happen with the larger companies. The fastest way to wreck a donor relationship is to have them have a terrible, negative experience trying to book the trip they bought at our fundraiser. And having to refund a trip due to complications is very hard on an organization financially. Sojourn has been a dream for our organization, and we intend to continue to work with them for upcoming events. The communication, personal care, and follow-through have been stellar! Fantastic experience: Our accomodations had everything we could ever want and a little bit more. We selected 5 different tours/activities for the time we spent in the Tuscsnny region. The personal service, and transportation needs were well thought out and this truly gave us both an opportunity to relax and enjoy the tuscanny region. From a sunrise Hot Ait Balloon ride across the Tuscanny country side to a private tour of three vineyards, this team put it all together for us. From arrival onsite, they went out of their way to make sure our needs were met, and our desires were given special attntion to. The Special attention to details is what will lead us to work with this team again. Additionally, we enjoyed a local cooking class and an in-apartment private chef dinner. The Town of cortona was the fantastic experience which refreshed us both. The countryside bike excursion, the tour guides who knew the history of this great area and the personnel we interacted with all gave this lifetime experience which will stick in our memories for years to come.The local partners went above and beyond and we thank them for the experience we received.

Freshly remodeled while still maintaining the charm and character of the original architecture. Beautiful courtyard setting with two outdoor eating areas. Fantastic experience: We recently stayed at La Torretta and it was the most magical place I have ever been. Our host, Ivan, treated us like family and took care of whatever we needed. Our dinner with him and his parents was one of the most special nights. We truly fell in love and will Ivan will always be like family to us. His hospitality deserves 10 stars. I can’t rave enough. This will forever be one of the most special trips for my family and me.

Fantastic experience: my friends and i were fortunate enough to spend a week at the golden buddha resort in amed and the stay exceeded our expectations! the rooms are beautiful with comfy beds and an outdoor shower (which was used multiple times a day). the pool is large and great to relax in. every detail of the resort was more than amazing. the staff was incredibly accommodating and made the stay even more special. our driver Yogi showed us to fun bars, delicious restaurants and took us on a couple of tours to a coffee plantation and rice fields. every morning we were greeted by Eri, Odek and Wiz who offered us anything we needed no questions asked. we also received a few massages during our stay which were the most relaxing. the beach was a five min drive from the resort, as well as many shops, bars and restaurants. there is a convenience store next to the resort which was truly, as it's named, convenient! i would recommend anyone stay at the golden buddha resort in amed if you are looking for accommodation, beauty, fun, relaxation and more!

Fantastic experience: My three friends and I had the pleasure of staying at The Golden Buddha in Bali. I want to start out by shouting out the entire staff who exceeded any and all expectations from the moment we arrived. They truly went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and memorable— starting with welcome drinks, ending with a delicious special dinner and everyday in between! You can really feel that Yogi, Eri, Odek, Wiz and everyone take pride in taking care of their guests. Can’t forget to mention the masseuses, too! they were incredible. The resort itself speaks for itself! Although my photos don’t do it justice, you can tell how well taken care of it is. The view, the pool, the original art/decor, the greenery, the shrines and statues all give you a warm and inviting feeling and a true Bali vibe. And of course the linens and open air SHOWER do not go unnoticed! Not only is the resort perfectly situated between the lush mountains and the ocean, it’s close to the center of town but on a quieter part of the street, making the stay convenient yet peaceful. 10 out of 10 would recommend and hope to have the opportunity to come back again.

Fantastic experience: I had a trip scheduled to Italy, and due to unforeseen life circumstances, I was not able to make the trip, so I cannot attest to that aspect. I did, however, have an excellent experience with the company, as they were very cordial and prompt in helping me during the planning process. Fantastic experience: We had a lovely stay at Casa San Marco in Cortona. The house is amazing as is the town and surrounding valley. The Sojourn Ventures team and their partners in Cortona made the whole process a breeze — it was nice to have a local office in Cortona as a resource, if necessary. We mostly booked our own activities during our stay, but we did work with Federica to arrange an e-bike tour one day and that was so fun. It was olive harvest season while we were there and we stopped at a local olive press as part of the tour, which was really cool. I’d book with Sojourn again in the future without hesitation. Fantastic experience: 100% hands down the best travel experience I have ever had was with Sojourn Ventures! The communication was thorough, timely, and very welcoming. The entire team at Sojourn Ventures was knowledgable, friendly, and they all made our trip to Tuscany a once in a lifetime experience. Our villa was even better than any photo could possibly portray. The location of our villa was amazing, situated right in the heart of Cortona. The villa was gorgeous, comfortable, and stocked with everything anyone could possibly need on a vacation. The team even welcomed us by stocking the villa with snacks and wine when we arrived. Transportation to and from Rome was perfectly coordinated and the villa instructions were well written and everything was incredibly easy because Sojourn thought of everything.

Fantastic experience: We recently spent a week in Cortona, Italy all arranged by Sojourn Ventures. It was one of the best vacations ever. The itinerary was perfect and included all of the activities on our wish list.(including a truffle hunt and an olive oil tasting) as well as two days of wine tasting in Montepulciano and Montalcino). The house we stayed in was modern and had all the comforts of home and was within walking distance to the town of Cortona. Finally, my compliments to all our drivers for the week. Fantastic experience: We had a spectacular time in Tuscany with Sojourn Ventures. The villa was fabulous and the host truly amazing with her assistance, information and suggestions, and her hospitality. The concierge assistance for wine tasting and an olive oil mill visit and tasting was outstanding and prompt.

Fantastic experience: Our stay at the Golden Buddha was beyond words exceptional. From the beautiful accomodations to the staff who are all so kind and take care of your every need - it was a trip of a lifetime. Although Amed is 3 hours from the DSP airport, it is worth every minute to get there. Snorkeling and scuba are some of the best in Bali. My husband who only has one leg easily accessed Jemeluk beach only a 100 feet from shore to see some of the most colorful and largest variety of fish we have ever seen. Staff was careful to always recommend restaurants that were safe (you need to be careful of Bali Belly), and we enjoyed so many rooftop restaurants at sunset with excellend food and service. An outrigger canoe ride around the shores of Bali with just me and my husband on our last night was a night to remember - complete with Reggae music the whole time. Magical!

Fantastic experience: Golden Buddha is truly a special place. From the moment we arrived at the airport, the resort had a driver awaiting our arrival and was assinged to us for our weeks stay. The property and the room was nice and comfortable, the staff hospitable. The set up of the five cottages, and the common area breakfast made lifelong friends and contacts. We explored beautiful temples and found the Balinese people lovely. This resort is 3 hours from the airport but, worth the drive with very special and unique places for snorkeling and enjoying lovely sunsets. The staff can provide dinner or make reservations as some lovely unique restaurants.

Fantastic experience: Our family of 5 stayed at Villa Paradiso for one week this July and it was an incredible experience. The property is beautiful, well appointed and large, and is more than comfortable for 8 adults. The staff at the Golden Buddha was kind and helpful, and our driver, Made, took great care of us over the week helping organize outings and dinner plans. I would 100% recommend a stay at Villa Paradiso or Golden Buddha to friends and loved ones. I hope to experience more of Sojourn’s Property offerings in the future.

Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful week and we were treated like family. The entire staff was welcoming and met our needs and wants. The grounds were beautiful , well kept and it was easy to let all the tension melt away. Rege was our driver and together with Yogi we did so many things with our new friends, Troy and Kris.The massage was great, breakfast was epic every morning. The villa was so comfortable, beautiful and felt like home.

Fantastic experience: We loved our stay at Casa Royale in Cortona Italy! We had the best family vacation we have had in years! Everything was fantastic, from start to finish, from the stellar service we received at Sojourn Ventures in the booking and planning process, to coordinating all of our local tours and services with Federica. We loved Gloria who checked us into our accommodations, her English is perfect and she was so kind. Casa Royale was everything we imagined Italy would be, with opulent furnishings and modern amenities. The walking tour and in-home chef dinner Federica planned for us was top-notch, and the town of Cortona is absolutely dreamy. We loved ambling around at leisure and our school-age kids ran off for gelato while we sat and sipped wine at the piazza, they don’t experience that kind of freedom in the big city where we live at home. Fantastic experience: Our trip to the Golden Buddha in Bali was so special. The staff took such good care of us. We really enjoyed the communal atmosphere of the cottages and enjoyed sharing our experiences with our neighbors. Wiz and Odette were the most gracious hosts. Wayan was our attentive driver. It was a unique and wonderful experience.

Fantastic experience: Hi Carly - We had the BEST time in Cortona . . . . it fell at just the right moment in our 2 1/2 week trip. We were able to "rest and recover" from the hurried itinerary and a bit of a cold. The accommodations were perfect and so nice! We thoroughly enjoyed Cristina, our chef. the night before we left the following day. Perfect ending to 5 lovely nights! The city of Cortona is fabulous, the people are lovely, and the landscape/views are to die for!! I'm so glad we made this adventure of a lifetime come true with your help. The team of Alen, Federica, and Gloria were so helpful and accomodating to our needs. They were able to meet all of our last minute needs. We hope to return at some point down the road. Fantastic experience: We had an amazing time at the villa. The staff was beyond lovely and made us feel so welcomed. We loved getting to know them and were sad to leave them when it was time to head home. Each one learned our names right away, made us feel welcomed, and greeted us as friends. The special dinner they made with the local decorations and dancers was the perfect way to wrap up and weak and beyond thoughtful. We kept marveling at their work ethic, kindness, and friendship. The property was beautiful, restful, and more than we could have imagined. We loved lounging by the pool, watching the sun rise from the upper deck, listening to the roosters as they greeted the day, indulging in massages, browsing the nearby shops, and visiting the local beaches. Our entire group found it a lovely place to rest and recharge and worth the long flight to get there. We could not have asked for a better week away. We would highly recommend it!

Fantastic experience: Our week in Cortona. I am not sure if I miss the terrace, the views, or sitting around the dining room table in the kitchen the most. I do know we miss Casa San Marco and the town of Cortona. Casa San Marco’s beauty and details are a fusion of Tuscany’s past and luxurious modernity. The views are breathtaking and look out onto rolling fields, endless sky, and the charm of Cortona. Next year when we return we will stay for longer. Thank you so much to Stacey and Elizabeth for one of the best vacations we have had.

Fantastic experience: We had the experience of a lifetime staying at the Golden Buddha in Bali and none of it would have been possible without the help of Sojourn Ventures. Everything was communicated and coordinated perfectly. When weather canceled our flights, the Sojourn Ventures team was quick to help! Once we arrived in Bali, we met the most attentive and kind humans you will ever encounter - the team at the Golden Buddha!! We can't wait to visit again! PS - Don't let the "RAINY" season scare you - yes, it rained nearly every day but it was often brief and made everything so green. We were still able to do all outdoor activities and experienced top notch service not having to compete with the busy season tourists.

Our family of 5 adults enjoyed every day in this truly amazing place that reminded us to slow down a bit, enjoy the views, try new foods, take lots of walks, and to remember we may never have this experience again. We were all so pleasantly surprised by the entire experience and can’t say enough great things about it.

Fantastic experience: The villa was beautiful. there were a few issues but overall, it was great. The outdoor bathroom in the guest house was a bit stressful due to the outdoor elements. the geckos and bats were intense. The food was good. the staff was great. the massages were best we have ever had. The house manager was always helpful. They made our stay better..
