Fantastic experience: England, Scotland, Wales: Highly recommend this trip. Very well organized and tour director was the best ever. She took care of every possible detail. Loved the hotels. This trip is a good overview of England, Scotland and Wales. Everyone was very friendly; food was great and we had the chance to dine on our own sometime. Would love to get flight info sooner than later so that we could plan our transportation to/from airport with a car service. No last minute surprises please.

Negative experience: I participated in a recent trip that took patrons to the Canadian cities of Ottawa, Montreal and finally Quebec City. In Ottawa, the itinerary included a guided tour of the city. However, the local "guide" arranged by the tour company, failed to show! Hence our tour guide had to make other arrangements on the fly (the tour guide was not an employee of the tour company). She did a terrific last minute switch by getting us into the Canadian War Museum - an excellent facility. In Quebec City, the tour company was forced to hire a local bus operator to get us around the city. Turns out that the original driver had "timed out" because of Canadian regulations. The original driver had operated a bus for fourteen days straight prior to beginning our tour. One would think that a tour company would have a full understanding of regulations that apply outside the United States.

Negative experience: Terrible awful company. Booked a New York trip in July. Took my money and then didn’t pick up at the designated location No customer service at all. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY

Fantastic experience: My husbandand I just got back from the Nova Scotia tour. We had never been on a bus tour so really had no expectations. We were very pleased. Kim our trip leader was very efficient and friendly. Bob our bus driver was an excellent driver with a great sense of humor and a perfect personality for dealing with all ages. Brian our Halifax local guide was a wealth of knowledge. Even our trolley driver Josh in Acadia was great. Only downside was traffic on interstates which can't be helped. We were just glad we were not driving and instead enjoying this extremely comfortable motor coach . We hope to book another trip in the future with Tours of Distinction.

Fantastic experience: Just returned from the Nova Scotia/Bar Harbor trip. Our tour director Kim was everything you’d want in a tour director, professional, fun, on top of every detail and flexible to fit needs of group. Our driver Bob was a great driver, patient and helpful but also fun. Bus was extremely comfortable! Brian our local guide did a great job around Halifax, he is extremely knowledgeable and kept us interested in the history. My sister and I enjoyed our trip and will be planning another I’m sure. Kudos to all!

Fantastic experience: Just completed 7 day trip to Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. Kim, our tour director was awesome. Our motorcoach was very comfortable and our driver Bob also did an outstanding job. I highly recommend this duo. I plan on going on many more trips in the future.

Fantastic experience: We just got back from our third trip with Tours of Distinction. They are wonderful to work with, and when there's glitch in the plan (like flight delays, coach buses cancelling last minute, the things beyond their control), they are quick to work out a backup plan and get us right back on track. All in all, a great trip!

Fantastic experience: The bus was comfortable. The Culanary Institute tour was interesting, and building is beautiful, the gastric experience was fun , plentiful , and delicious. The FDR Library was very enjoyable and eye opening to the parallels of today! Loved most everything of the day trip.

Fantastic experience: I did the Danube Christmas Markets River Cruise trip as a solo traveler December 2023. It was a great time! The standard of accommodation and the quality of ship and its  crew exceeded my expectations. A great trip, that I would recommend to anyone who wants to explore Europe’s Christmas Markets.

Fantastic experience: I have been on two Tours of Distinction trips. Niagara Falls and Tournament of Roses Parade. Both trips were great! Our Tour Director, Kim, was on top of everything and a lot of fun. There are a few things we think could be changed like the New Year’s Dinner on the San Diego visit on the Tournament of Roses trip. It was a new trip so just some feedback. The groups of travelers on both tours were all good people and interesting to talk to. We would not hesitate to use ToD for our next trip.

Negative experience: TOURNAMENT OF ROSES PARADE DECEMBER 29, 2023 - JANUARY 3, 2024 I have wanted to attend The Rose Bowl Parade since I was a kid. Happened to spot the L.A./Pasadena trip offered by this tour operator back in September of 2023. Sounded like it would be a great experience at a reasonable price. Spoke to my good friend and neighbor to see if she was interested in going with me. I was very happy to hear that she wanted to go. We went ahead and booked the trip. According to the Tours of Distinction website, we would be staying at a very highly rated Hilton hotel adjacent to the ocean in Santa Monica. This turned out to be the first of their many untruths. We did not receive our itinerary until approximately one week prior to departure. Lo and behold, we are now going to be staying at the DoubleTree Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. Better yet, it is conveniently located only one block from the most highly populated Skid Row in the United States. After checking several online travel sites, it became apparent the downtown hotel can be reserved for approximately half the cost of the hotel we were led to believe we were staying at. When I called to object to their bait and switch tactics, I was informed by an extremely unpleasant woman that they never promised that we would be staying in Santa Monica and downtown was more conveniently located. Another complete lie. Basically the attitude seemed to be that they had our money and tough luck cause you ain't getting a refund. Obviously, it's a sinking feeling to realize you are being deceived before even going on the trip. They were even so brazen as to continue showcasing the Santa Monica hotel on their website up until the day we departed for California. Some of the many lowlights of the trip would be the "festive New Year's Eve Dinner Party filled with games, music, party favors and champagne." This of course did not happen. We were served a "steak" dinner at the DoubleTree that was the most tasteless and toughest piece of meat I have ever tried to cut into. The side trip to San Diego turned out to be a complete waste of a full day. We never made it to The Gaslamp District, which was supposed to be a featured attraction of going to SD. Instead, we did a poorly planned stroll through the Little Italy section. We went to the Old Town area but no thought was given to having lunch at one of the many authentic restaurants there. We wound up having to dine at a less than stellar sandwich joint near the harbor. On New Year's Day, we were to dine at a well known prime rib restaurant in Beverly Hills for lunch. This did not happen. Instead, we had hamburgers at Mel's Drive In on Hollywood Boulevard. Never saw Beverly Hills. None of the motor coaches had a restroom. One of the motor coaches had a suspension/shock absorbers so inadequate as to almost loosen the fillings in your teeth. Our tour director seemed pleasant enough, but nothing of interest was ever pointed out as I don't believe she had any knowledge of Southern California. I could go on and on, but that's not likely to accomplish anything other than bringing my anger to the surface again. Basically, everything they do is done on the cheap. Suffice to say that I would never recommend this tour company to anyone. As for highlights, The Tournament of Roses Parade experience was fabulous. The Nixon Library side trip to Yorba Linda was also worthwhile. The Mission at San Juan Capistrano was informative. There was a total of 18 people on this tour and I truly enjoyed their company. Incompetent, chintzy, unscrupulous, unprofessional and unethical would be appropriate and accurate descriptions for the people who operate Tours of Distinction.

Fantastic experience: Recently went to NYC for the Christmas Spectacular show at the Radio City Music Hall. The experience was wonderful. Our tour guide Julie was super friendly and informative. She put everyone at ease and answered all questions. She made recommendations on what to see and where to eat. Everything was on time as she said it would be. The bus driver, Walter, I believe was his name. He drove very smooth and cautiously. He also was very friendly. The group of people was a good mix of seniors, younger parents with children, and middle aged couples. Everyone was super friendly. Thankyou for a great day!

Fantastic experience: Hotels and meals were great! Tour guides made the trip great even though we had poor weather. Highly recommend Iceland with Tours of Distinction.

Fantastic experience: The trip to the Canadian Rockies as exactly what we expected. This was our 7th trip with Tours of Distinction. We were there when the wildifres happened and they handled the situation well. You know how great a business is when they handle tough situations. Despite that, the trip was really well organized. Marina our tour director was top-notch. From the hotels to the meals to the transportation. We could not have asked for more. Highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: Julie was our guide for our 4-day trip to Cape Cod from Westchester County. We had a great time and could not have asked for a better trip. We all saw so much in 4 days.

Fantastic experience: We travelled on a group tour to Charleston and Savannah with Tours of Distinction. The trip, guide and food was excellent. We are looking forward to our next one.

Negative experience: This pertains to the tour Autumn Railway in the Berkshires. It all started when the company did not return any of our calls - the first red flag. We then communicated by email and had success with this. However we sent a check to the company for payment of the trip, and we never received information confirming the booking. We called several times and spoke to Kim a couple of times and to Elizabeth a few times. They kept telling us they would get back to us. Elizabeth told us they never received our check. That was a lie as we sent it certified mail with return receipt. When I told her this, our check magically appeared in their office. This was another red flag that told us how screwed up they were. It really worried us. This was 3 days before the trip. We were so looking forward to the trip, we decided to move forward. That was a big mistake! The day of the trip - the company changed the location of the pick up/drop off place a couple of days before departure. Then on the bus we were told that the bus would not be stopping at a rest stop (to use the bathroom or to get coffee/something to eat). We were also told we had 5 minutes until we arrived at our first destination and to use the bus bathroom. There was a mad dash to the toilet and all of us including myself didn't get to use it. This was terrible, especially for the people who had canes or walkers who could not make use of the bus bathroom. I surmise what made us late was that the company added another pick up/drop off stop in Enfield that was not on the original schedule - very poor planning and disorganization! It caused so much stress in us. We were late for the train ride, our first destination, so we didn't get to use the bathroom there either. Next, the restaurant that was on our original schedule, Freight Yard Restaurant, was changed. It was changed to a place called Lakeside Bar and Grill. I wonder what the difference in price was between the two restaurants. We had already paid out $138.00. I wonder if the company will reimburse us for the difference. The winery was changed also and the company picked one that didn't have a public restroom, but instead one of those outhouses. The one on the schedule was the Hilton Orchards. The one they changed it to was Mineral Hills Winery at Godard's. Again I wonder if Tours of Distinction will reimburse us for the difference. Based on what we know, we doubt it. We will just chalk it up to a bad experience and put it behind us!

Negative experience: After initial contact and request for trip package with promise to follow up I was never contacted. But this seems to be the norm for most travel agency's and not surprised in the least.

Positive experience: We were surprised that there was no tour director on our Krucker's trip. The driver actually asked us if one was on board, since he did not know the address of the Watrbury pick-up location.

Negative experience: Bus Trip Vermont Fit for a King presented to Friends of Ashland & & Callahan COAS on October 17th was a total disappointment. King Arthur Four Company we were supposed to be greeted and taken on a tour. That never happened. If we wanted to see them work we stood and watched from afar. I asked and was told no demonstrations today and store was closing at 2:30 pm. Then we went to Calcuttas for lunch instead of Alta Tuscan Grille which was listed on the brochure. And if it was a buffet, why ask us what we preferred for lunch? Nothing listed on the Brochure was available. Next we went to Simon Pearce Company and it was closing 10 minutes after we got there. The final stop was VT Country Store. We asked the bus driver, Tim, about it and he said it wasn't on his schedule just this Vermont made store with accompanying ice cream store and then we traveled back to Framingham & Ashland. I believe we were taken for $125.00 and a lot of the passengers booked this trip thinking they were going to the Vermont Country Store. Shame on you for taking advantage of a bus load of Seniors. Positive experience: Great itinerary but staff was disorganized and provided insufficient, incorrct information ahead of tour. No tour director because of Covid, so bus driver was overburdened with tasks in addition to driving the bus. She was great, but she had too many responsibilities. Oh, and the bus leaked when it rained!

Negative experience: I posted my review on WeTravel but feel that most people look on this site when wanting information while planning a trip. I did receive a response from my review. You don’t know how much I wish I could leave a great review but I just can’t. The two stars are for the incredible places we visited…Mackinac Island, Dearborn, Cleveland, and Niagara Falls were beautiful!! The lack of other stars is due to the poor quality of the organization and communication of the tour. Our poor tour director was very sweet but oh my goodness was she unorganized!! Every stop had some sort of hiccup along the way. Things like “ we are going to be riding on the bus for three hours and will take a rest stop in an hour and a half” and of course we never stopped. And when we did stop it was at a travel center with many other busses and we were given 45 minutes to eat and use the overcrowded restrooms. You have to understand that the Dattco bus driver (Domingo) had already lectured us against using the restroom on the bus except under the direst of circumstances. Even the cancer patient who purposely chose a seat at the back of the bus by the restroom wouldn’t use it…no one did!! He also lectured us about leaving trash on the bus and even went so far as to say we would have to rotate seats (everyone sat in the same seats each day) so people would pick up their trash. Janet did override that because people were very upset. He also decided on the first night in the restaurant to give Janet some “constructive criticism” of how she handled the first day. We were seated a table away with his back to us and he was so loud we could hear every word he said…we were so embarrassed for her!! He criticized things she said, what she told us, and how she said things…so uncalled for. We also felt that the scheduling of cutting short a visit to an attraction to get to the hotel to wait for three hours until it as time for dinner was ridiculous. Like the Ford Museum and the Greenfield Village. We had to leave at 4 when they didn’t close until 5 so we could go to the hotel to leave around 6:00 for dinner. Our husbands didn’t finish the museum. On the topic of communication I will briefly say there was very little. From booking and not hearing anything else for information about payments or details; to the lack that every other tour group had lanyards with name tags for their group members. We were told that we would hear from y’all two weeks before the departure date. Our information showed up three days before we left and the other couple got theirs the day we drove to Houston. We were also told not to schedule a flight from Buffalo before 4:00. So we had to book a hotel in Buffalo and fly home on Friday…an added expense when we hurried thru Niagara Falls and lunch so others could fly out at two. Needless to say, we won’t be booking again with Tours of Distinction which is sad because there are other tours that also go to some phenomenal places…we will just need to choose another tour group.

Fantastic experience: Our 8 day trip to Mackinac Island was superb. There are a couple long days on the road and another night would be great in Niagara Falls. Our director Janet was so friendly and knowledgeable and we met a lot of new friends. Would recommend this trip and Tours and Distinction.

Fantastic experience: The cruise on the Rhine River was great. We had a really good time. The ship and crew were excellent and catered to every little detail

Positive experience: We had a very enjoyable trip in spite of some of the disappointing aspects of it. First being told as soon as you get on the bus to please not use the bathroom on the bus was the first red flag. Then after that announcement of being told we would have a comfort stop in 1 1/2 hrs. then not stopping was another red flag. Our bus driver seemed to want to be the tour director rather than the driver and we heard him criticizing the tour director at dinner. When we went to the Ford Rouge factory we expected to see the assembly of an F150 truck as that is what's described in the itinerary. Because it was Saturday that portion of the factory wasn't operating. I chalked that up to the strike but have since learned that it doesn't operate on Saturdays since Aug.1. That could have given us more time to visit the museum and Greenfield village with a little pre planning. Seemed we were rushed a lot and spent a lot of time at our hotels rather than more time at the destination sights. The most disappointing thing to me though is that I was told the tour would end around 4pm on the last day. That left us without enough time to fly out on that day so we booked a hotel room in Buffalo to fly out the next day. Turns out our tour director rushed us along on the last day because a couple had a flight at 2 that day. That is poor communication on someone's part. We could have flown out that day and saved ourselves the expense of a hotel room. Am I sorry we took the trip? No way! We met some really cool people on our bus. We laughed a lot and saw some wonderful sights. However I will look for another company on my next bus tour.

Fantastic experience: A trusted, reliable, honest, and respectable tour operator that has been in business almost a half of a century in Connecticut. The tour groups are always accompanied by a professional tour director that helps to ensure that the tours run smoothly. The company has excellent relationships within the travel industry and only uses trusted partners. A great tour company to travel with in Connecticut, throughout the United States and Canada and Internationally. Just got back from Mackinac Island- great group, well organized tour and lots of bucket list destinations- rock and roll hall of fame, Mackinac Island, the ford museum, Frankenmuth and Niagara Falls ! Wow!

Positive experience: Best bus driver ever. Nice hotels. Good free time. But the money we paid could have offered better meals. Lastly, please consider preparing an itinerary-detailed-for each participant so we know what to expect. We didn’t have a tour guide per se. Angelina, our bus driver, was forced to serve as the tour guide. Why was there not a back up plan ? No Wi-Fi on the bus. This was our first group tour. Maybe this is just the “way it is”?

Fantastic experience: We went on a trip to Block Island yesterday and Long Island on a Lighthouse cruise last Wednesday, both with Marina. She is an excellent tour director, being very professional, friendly and very organized.

Fantastic experience: We were looking for a really unique group guided tour to Southern California. Specifically Catalina Island. Everything ran really smooth. It would have been nice to have a bit more free time in San Diego. We still experienced everything we wanted to.

Fantastic experience: This tour director was excellent -- organized, caring and efficient. She had to make some adjustments on the fly due to weather and other circumstances, but all went smoothly and we got everything that was promised and more. The bus (or "coach") was exceptionally comfortable (good legroom!) and gave good views of surroundings. (A tiny quibble -- it would be nice if the sound system allowed the use of earphones when videos are played so you don't have to listen if you don't want to.) The driver was pleasant and good at the actual driving, but perhaps needed training as he appeared to require close supervision by the tour director. All of the hotels were clean, comfortable and well located, but the Holman Grand in Charlottestown was a standout. The location guides were all very good and the stops were well chosen. I feel that I got an excellent overview of Bar Harbor, Nova Scotia, and PEI.

Fantastic experience: Our church group used Tours of Distinction for a trip to the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. It was well planned and well executed. I am now looking at them for a bunch of other trips.

Fantastic experience: This was a wonderful trip to Nova Scotia and PEI. The tour director, Marina, did a fantastic job of organizing our group and the details of the tour. She was very interested in us, the clients, and our enjoyment of the trip. The tour itself was very interesting, we visited many sites and the Tour Guides were very knowledgeable and gave well prepared presentations. Even the ferry, I would do again. Fantastic experience: Great trip to Ireland

Fantastic experience: I went on a tour to Nashville, Memphis, and the Biltmore with Tours of Distinction and had a great time. We had plenty of time to see the home of Elvis and even stayed at the hotel that Priscilla decorated. Sun Studio was included on the tour and is one of the most interesting museums ever, it was amazing that so much music came out of that little place. In Nashville, we had great seats at the Grand Ole Opry and a terrific dinner before. The perfect end to the trip was our visit to the Biltmore Estate, it is spectacular...would love to go back at Christmas. The staff was great, and the pace of the trip was terrific and well worth the money.

Fantastic experience: Marina, our tour director, was fantastic. She was organized, professional, patient and made the trip fun. We saw so many wonderful sites. Many on my bucket list. Our travel companions were great. Hotels were comfortable. Breakfasts and dinners were delicious. Overall a memorable trip.

Fantastic experience: This was our first trip with Tours of Distinction and we had a great trip to the Bronx Zoo. Our tour Director was great. We enjoyed a comfortable bus ride to and from the zoo. We will definitely look at Tours of Distinction for more trips in the future.

Fantastic experience: The trip to Iceland to see the Northern Lights could not have been better. The planning was really well done and we had a nice balance of free time and included must see sites. Recommend Iceland and Tours of Distinction. Our documents could have arrived a little sooner.

Fantastic experience: My Mother and i with a couple if friends booked for 30 years a trip with this agency around Southamerica last year i found them again and booked a trip for my Mum to Canada and the customer service was exactly the way i had it in mind uncomplicated available and able to customize the trip for all the necessary stuff my mum and her friends needed. I recommended the agency to my friends in Mexico and till now the experience ia A+ definitely planning to book with them another USA adventure without hassle moments. Fantastic experience: Lovely Tour to Israel and Jordan! We went on a trip with our parents who always wanted to visit Israel. We had fabulous time with he group and we couldn't recommend enough the Tours of Distinction and our tour Director. Lovely tour, lovely people. Our parents were blown away.

Fantastic experience: As a long travelled couple for many years , we really enjoy now to plan our trips with this people: they are wonderful at organizing everything (we enjoy zero stress at our age), day trips or longer ones, all kind of activities and transportation, and our beloved cruises!!! We enjoy to rely all the fuss of a travel on them, and they are worth it, totally. Thank you so much for being part of our life!

Fantastic experience: Booking went smoothly, all questions answered immediately. My friend and I enjoyed our grouptour around the Cotswalds. The service was impeccable, and the price was very democatic. Well recommended.

Negative experience: My husband and I went on a one-day trip to NYC/Christmas Spectacular on Dec. 4th. The catalog description stated that lunch would be included at Carmine's. There was no lunch anywhere. Everyone was on their own at a service stop en route. When we questioned the tour guide she said that the prices at Carmine's had gone up considerably so they would not be able to include lunch. That's ok - but how about telling everyone involved ahead of time??? We had submitted a voucher for 10% off our trip in early August, but have never received a refund, despite having phoned and emailed several times. The voucher itself had come with their catalog in the post. The refund amount, for $55.00, has not been received nearly six months later. No, we would not recommend this company to anyone else.

Fantastic experience: The day trip to Caramoor was delightful and the tour director Marina was excellent! The tour of the house was such a sight to see and the holiday tea presentation was spectacular!

Negative experience: Trip to Berkshire was error filled! DATCO & DISTINCTION are blaming each other. Luncheon was horrific! Communication near zero. Fairfield seniors spent 16 hours & Trumbull Seniors 13.5 hours on this trip. My bus ride from NY - FT BRAGG NC took less time

Negative experience: We recently went on a trip to the Berkshire for the train, lunch and apple orchard. The trip time was changed and email sent out late on a Friday. however the place was closed. Thus we never got the early departure time. We left to pickup another groups across the state. The gps was set to the Lenox train station and not the North Adams. We pulled up after driving back roads to a station not used in years. The wrong spot. Next, we headed north to the right station. Passing old snow plows. We were told we missed the train anpassed the plows again for or 35min drive. Oh we just missed the orchard. On to NY to turn around. 1/2 hour at the orchard. Now we head north passing the plows again heading to the restaurant in North Adams. All 42 arrived, but only 40 seats out and a 30-40 mins to eat. I bussed the table for Easter coffee and tea. The food was terrible. Off to the train.. The train was ok and staff on it nice to talk too. Back home we went with a stop on the side of highway. I got off the bus 2.25 hours after the schedule return time. I learned the bus driver could drive any longer so the people had to get another driver.

Negative experience: Our tour thru Germany/Austria was a tour from hell.From switching everything around once we got there to non working toilet on the tour bus to having to pay for our own flight back & meals that were suppose to be included. And of course no one returns your calls for any reimbursement.

Negative experience: " BUYER BE AWARE" - My experience. Very poor service. We booked the tour thru this company. Paid $1000+ as deposit in April 2022. Tour was scheduled for Aug 2022. Two weeks before they sent us an email that tour is cancelled. We had hard time getting our money back from this company. Numerous phone calls and emails were exchanged with them. Very dishonest people.

Fantastic experience: We had a great trip. Everything was well organized. Great to not have to worry about meals, parking, driving. Plenty of time to see everything. Would definitely travel with them again

Negative experience: I cannot say. We have tried to have them call us back for a week. You cannot get ANY information until you fill out forms online. Then they are supposed to get back with you. My husband has called twice, and all the person who answers the phone said is that we will hear from them soon. So far, not impressed.

Fantastic experience: Top-notch organization. Everything ran smoothly. From the moment we contacted the company, they were always quick to answer our questions and calm any nervousness we may initially have had. We were especially impressed that our tour director went above and beyond for us. I had misplaced my sweater at one of the stops and he called around until it was located and arranged to have it shipped for me. We'd travel again with them in a heartbeat.

Negative experience: Day trip I've tried to attend are always cancelled

Fantastic experience: Tour director and bus driver were super friendly and eager to make the trip memorable for us. Cruise ship they selected in Gloucester was also top notch. Food was excellent,. Will definitely go with Tours of Distinction again.

Fantastic experience: The trip to Lancaster PA and the Sight and Sound Theatre was a wonderful experience. Words can not describe The Story of Queen Esther. I would definitely consider seeing other shows in the future. Marina made our trip so enjoyable and was very knowledgeable about the area. All precautions were taken for our safety and Marina had an ample supply of extra masks, gloves, in the event one of us forgot to take them. It was a wonderful trip so thanks Tours of Distinction. PS Daco bus service provided transportation and John our driver was the best!

Fantastic experience: I was on the tour to Quebec for Winter Carnival. The tour, the points of interest, the hotel and the food were great. We traveled in a blizzard and the trip could have gone in the wrong direction, but TOD worked behind the scenes with the Tour guide in Quebec to make sure all points of interest were visited and everyone remained safe. Professional, top shelf accommodations and a staff that truly cared about our experience being memorable is how I would describe TOD. Can’t wait to get on the road again with TOD. Fantastic experience: I did a six day trip around New England with Tours of Distinction. Each day we did a different trip. We did Martha's Vineyard, Boston MA, Mystic Seaport in CT, Newport RI, and Providence RI. We ate at incredible restaurants. And our hotel was just beautiful. I highly recommend them. Negative experience: Warning I do not recommend Tours Of Distinction, in fact I strongly suggest that you go through a different tour company. My wife and I for 30th anniversary took an Alaska trip with Tours Of Distinction. The first part of the trip was on a Norwegian Cruise Line ship and was what was advertised and what we expected it to be. The second part of the trip was very disappointing to say the least. This is where our itinerary was changed without letting us know ahead of time. We were scheduled to tour the interior of Alaska. Our itinerary that we received and paid for ahead of time had been changed before the trip started and none of us were informed of these changes. Come to find out Tours Of Distinction had subcontracted us out to a different tour group without doing their due diligence to make sure we were getting what we had originally paid for. Activities that we had paid for were not on the new itinerary and hotels were changed to a lesser quality hotels. When we arrived home from our trip those of us on the tour contacted Tours Of Distinction and we were assured that we would be fairly compensated for the changes. This did not happen. After seven weeks of negotiation with Tours Of Distinction we received a monetary amount that was much less than any of us felt we should get, along with 10% off of a future trip. The owner of the company acknowledged that he knew none of us would book through Tours Of Distinction again, so the 10% was not a serious offer for compensation. This was a classic bait and switch where we paid for a certain product and received a much lesser product. None of us on the tour will ever travel with Tours Of Distinction again. Travel at your own risk.

Fantastic experience: Most of my trips over the last 3 years have been with Tours of Distinction. I have never been dissapointed. Price is good, all inclusive, very well run. Great tour company to use.

Fantastic experience: On Tuesday, May 14, 2019 I took a trip to he Bronx Zoo with the Milford Senior Citizens using Tours of Distinction. What a Wonderful experience I had!!! Our tour guide, Maria Marceau, was just GREAT, both personable and professional. There are too many words to describe how terrific she was. We also had a terrific bus driver which made the ride so much more enjoyable and relaxing. I would highly recommend Tours of Distinction!!!

Fantastic experience: Went to S Carolina to visit Myrtle Beach and Charleston. Tour Guide, Dawn Marceau, was very knowledgeable about the travel destinations and shared her knowledge with us, making the trip very interesting. Her warmth, humor, attention to our needs, and genuineness made this wonderful trip so special. We will cherish the memories. Additionally, Paul, drove with care, skill, and safety as his top priority. We had a great trip and my son and I were in great hands.
