Fantastic experience: Kim Carter was exceptionally helpful yesterday when we stopped in with mechanical problems with our shuttle bus/rv. She went above and beyond getting help for us. (We had already been two days behind schedule getting home from vacation due to breakdown) Thanks to her knowledge and kindness, we got the bus fixed and are back on the road sooner than expected. Thank you so much triple A and Kim C!! We 100% recommend!
Fantastic experience: Kim O. In the independence, MO office is the best! She got our issue with the auto lien holder taken care of super fast! Really appreciate her hard work and quick response!
Negative experience: Poor customer care after returning from a 2 week sub par trip to Europe. Wasn't offered euros B4 trip and made us feel horrible when we were experiencing radical racism in the hotel that Paradise booked for us. 4 days of flagrant racist remarks and actions were what we dealt with while our agent remained/remains mute when made her aware on all 4 of those horrific, humiliating days. Thank you.
Fantastic experience: EARL!!!!! Came thru for us like a 5STAR CHAMP!! After an hour going back n forth with 800#s we called to speak Finally to the local office-like we should have lol. Less than 10mins, Earl handled the issue that had me heated. I Truly Appreciate his Calmness in handling the situation and his sincerity in getting our headache taken care of. Good folks there. Negative experience: I had a troubling experience with AAA-Independence, MO, regarding my recent insurance policy. Initially, I received a quote of $898 for a 6-month policy, which I signed via DocuSign, canceling my previous policy. The next day, I received an email from the agent stating that the actual cost was $1,072. While I understood that mistakes can happen and accepted the revised quote, things quickly took a turn for the worse. On December 14, I received a letter stating that I owed an additional $396 for the same policy that had initially been quoted at $898, now $1294. When I called the local branch to discuss this issue, the agent who sold me the policy exhibited neither empathy nor understanding. He even threatened to cancel my policy if I did not pay the additional amount by a specified date. When I escalated the matter to the agent's manager, I was told they could change the terms within the first 30 days, as noted in the fine print of the contract. Unfortunately, he did not try to empathize with my frustration. To make matters worse, I have yet to receive any updated policy for me to sign reflecting these changes, leaving me feeling confused, frustrated, and anxious about a potential third increase in my policy. I expected better customer service and transparency from AAA. Overall, my experience has been disappointing, and I would caution others to be aware of potential hidden costs and the lack of support when issues arise.
Fantastic experience: Got my international driving permit in less than 10 minutes. Crystal was great to work with!
Negative experience: The insurance is okay but this office is run horribly! If you have any kind of complexity with your insurance needs this is not the branch you want to interact with.
Fantastic experience: Shianne Webb is so nice and so helpful! Made the whole insurance process so much easier and as a car dealer I know how difficult car insurance can be.
Negative experience: I would give a 0 star ⭐️ if I could. I have been a long time member and in Jan of 2024 I called for a tow and after 72 hours of no shows, cancellations, stating that they had picked up the vehicle (they hadn’t)…they finally arrived and towed my vehicle 11 miles to the dealership. I have now spent 2 months trying to get someone to call me back with false promises of a manager calling me within 3 days (funny how revealed them 3 days). These folks don’t care about you, your vehicle, your family or your situation. Save your money and find another company to use!!!
Negative experience: I waited over 3 hours for a tow last night with snow and zero weather. Finally called another tow company. 45 minutes later I was towed and thawing out. I have premier AAA service and they said I should look on the web site and get a reimbursement form. They will consider it. What happened to AAA?
Negative experience: David is the worst insurance agent ever. He’s a crook. He quoted me a rate and then overcharged me. When I called he promised there would be a credit for my next bill, but my next bill had an ever higher charge! When I called and he canceled he said he canceled me but he didn’t. I was charged again! And guess what? I was charged even more. I finally called corporate to get canceled. I ran to another insurance company fast. Best decision I ever made. Don’t use this location!
Negative experience: Terrible insurance company. Would rate lower if I could. They do have a couple good people here which conflicts me to do a review but overall they will screw you around. Please don’t use AAA at least this location
Negative experience: Prices creeping up
Negative experience: This dump insurance company literally ruined our lives by denying our claim we were hit by an uninsured motorist. If you are dumb enough to have this insurance company read the reviews on Google and it will show standard operating practice for this company it's to deny all claims if you are hit by an uninsured motorists. We paid our bills likely we're supposed to and they literally spent tens of thousands of dollars fighting us fighting us to deny our claim even though we had permanent damage.
Fantastic experience: Staff was able to answer all of my questions and get my international driving permit quickly. Really nice experience and checked off one of the big to-dos before my trip. I also reccomend bringing the passport-sized photos and completed paperwork with you instead of having them done and filling it out there if you can :)

Negative experience: I live in Missouri. I have a family membership. My son was stranded 30 miles from his home in CA with our car and called AAA. When the driver arrived they didnt check the vehicle, see if it needed a jump etc. They asked where we wanted it towed and we only knew of the garage in LA we had used once before. We were charged $10 per additional mile which equates to $320. This is 3 times the cost of my membership. Why does AAA agree to this $10/mile charge and bot have a max amount you can be charged??!! This is literally highway robbery and when I called to complain, I was told be two different reps “it is what it is” Still waiting for a manager to call me back. When I asked Louis Luna (H070) why they didn’t check the battery he said that was not the drivers job. If they had replaced the battery my son could have driven back to LA to have the car serviced. I call this FFF service.

Positive experience: Poor travel agent! Wouldn't follow our simple agenda. We wanted first class and he booked us couch. Then he change it to Delta Comfort after again telling him we wanted first class, and he changed the flights on the return to a early morning flight, which we had already told him we didn't want early morning. We went in on a Saturday morning and it is now Tuesday and we still have no clue as to what is going on!

Negative experience: Kurt at AAA insurance is the most rude entitled man I’ve even encountered with customer service. He started getting super political with me and refused to transfer me to a supervisor and then hung up on me. He literally started arguing with me and talking about the government and legislation. I kept telling him to transfer me to a supervisor because the conversation was turning into a belittlement and I could sense discrimination in his voice. He kept going on and on and refused to listen to me then hung up on me. This convo lasted for almost 20 min. All I called about was my last invoice because I switched insurance companies and he basically yelled at me saying that he can’t help me, there’s no extension/ payment arrangement and that my bill will just be sent to collections because all insurance companies are the same. He tried to belittle me because Kurt saw my last name and ran with it because I didn’t agree with him. Entitled men like to feel superior and ppl like Kurt assume that just because my last name isn’t American that I was not born and raised in the US. This country is completely messed up. Don’t get insurance from this company if you are not white.

Fantastic experience: KIM was EXTREMELY helpful in getting our travel info to us FAST! We were thinking we'd be lucky if we received our info by the weekend, but we received it the very next day. WOW! That is EXCELLENT service! THANK YOU, KIM!
Fantastic experience: like everybody gets tickets dude, hike It up after 6 mos speeding ticket , this makes no sense. just because u cant drive we have to watch out, now that actually makes sense
Positive experience: Be careful. They will give you a very good price for your auto insurance for the first 6 months and then hike up the rates 25% for one speeding ticket. They also aim for price points for homeowners insurance. Make sure to look at your coverage because you may be under insured. AAA membership is a good deal for discounts and towing coverage.
