Negative experience: DO NOT use Fox World Travel! Due to Covid, my March vacation was cancelled by Fox World Travel and have repeatedly received the runaround since regarding refund. After 120 days and getting the BBB involved, I find out the travel representative cancelled my vacation too soon and without my consent causing my trip to become non-refundable. It’s really unfair that the customer has to pay the price for their mistake and complete lack of ownership to the issue they created by blaming it on Apple Vacations.

Negative experience: The only reason I give two stars because the first time we came here was amazing. We were helped by Jennifer. The first trip we did was to Jamaica, it was our first trip out of the country so it was really nice to have someone else help us plan. She seemed really excited about the trip for us, followed up and made sure everything was good to go. The place she sent us to was absolutely amazing... So fast forward to this trip. We want to go to Costa Rica and thought why not go through Jennifer again since it was so good the first time. Wrong. She didn’t seem interested in what we wanted at all. She didn’t ask us about a budget or what kind of hotel we wanted to stay in or anything. She ended up price quoting us for way way way more then what we wanted to spend for a backpack experience. I went online and found flights for cheaper then she quoted us. Then went to look at the hotel she said to stay in (since she didn’t show us what it looked like or even wrote down the name of the place). The room was over $500 a night! A little pricey for a couple that will be spending barely any time in the room. Especially since there’s so many beautiful places for half that price in the same exact area! I called to book an appointment with her days before we came in. I told her exactly what we were looking for, what days we were planning on going and everything else she needed to know. Yet when we went there she seemed lost like she didn’t know what she was doing. She mentioned having to call the Costa Rica Experts, another travel agency to get information. She said she couldn’t call them in Sunday’s though. I told her everything days before, if you knew they were closed on Sundays why didn’t you just call them before hand? If you didn’t know anything about Costa Rica why didn’t you just say so, and why am I going to one travel agent just to have her book through another? I can just call the Costa Rica Experts myself! Which I ended up doing. She told me she would get back to me on Monday which she never did. It is now Thursday. I know they don’t take that long to respond since I went ahead and contacted them myself. Literally took 20 mins for them to come up with an entire personalized itinerary for us all activities, food, flight and hotel included, and HALF the price of what she quoted us for JUST room and flight. I still have yet to hear from Jennifer. And it’s a shame. I have 5 different people who just got married or celebrating anniversary that have asked me for a recommendation to a travel agent for their trips. I grabbed her card when I first got there, but I will NOT be recommending her to any one now. I guess maybe Jamaica was easier to plan because you just plug in the information to Apple vacations? Anyone can do that, when it comes to actual planning on your own she does not know what she’s doing apparently. Next time learn your customers needs, get back to them when you say you will, and don’t book the most expensive hotel in the entire area just for your own benefit of a kick back. We plan to travel a lot more over the next two years, not only did you loose my business, but you lost everyone else that asked me about you too. Thanks for leaving us in the dark Jennifer....

Negative experience: Customer Service below 0 . If a client walks into a travel agency, obviously is interested in booking a vacation. If the travel agent is showing no interest in helping or advising or just showing the excitment of traveling than, it makes no sense to go back in there or to book with them. I called even to ask for different options on vacation plans and left a very detailed msg and, a week later no e-mail or call from her . Very disapointing , not welcoming at all. Get some training in customer service !

Fantastic experience: Original agent was going to be out of the office so she passed along our info to another agent whom we did not know. The new agent, Mary, called me immediately with all the information that we gave to the original agent and proceeded with exceptional service until the time we booked the trip, about 3-4 days later. Excellent customer service.

Negative experience: Horrible!! Have tried to use this location several times to book a vacation in the past. Each time I have walked out disappointed. First, when you walk in the door they just stare at you like they really don't want you there at all. Second, the staff is not helpful at all, even trying to set up an appointment was difficult. They acted like nobody has ever made one before. There is no flow or process at all. Go anywhere but here. When I asked the unhelpful person for some information I could take with me, she tells me that she is not a travel consultant. How am I supposed to know that, you are sitting behind a desk like all the others?? I was prepared to spend money, well not here, clearly they have enough business and do not need mine. Same bad experience twice.

Fantastic experience: The staff. Theresa Sawejka has been extremely helpful and considerate in her dealings with us. We appreciate her diligence and thoughtful input during our consultations.

Negative experience: Called to plan a trip- the woman said our destination was dangerous and suggested another destination- tried to schedule to meet and she said she would call to confirm that someone would be there and I never received a call back. Taking my business elsewhere.:(
