Fantastic experience: We had the best experience with Jeff at TravelMakers! We wanted a 2 week trip to Italy with our family to be memorable, fun and truly exciting! Jeff delivered on all counts. Pizza cooking lessons, private go cart tours, private boat to Capri and instant hop into rowboat to experience the Blue Grotto, no lines, no fuss! That was just a tiny piece of our entire trip! All the private drivers, private tours and perfect hotel locations especially the hotel in Rome connected to the Spanish Steps was the icing on the cake. The perfect location! Call Jeff! He will deliver!!

Fantastic experience: We just came home from the most perfect vacation thanks to Travel Makers! Everything was arranged for us, we were met at the airports, driven to our destinations, tour guides at each destination. There was no stress on our end just pure enjoyment. Fantastic experience:  BJ Holmes, Travelmakers, provided excellent assistance for our group of 12 women visiting Miraval from 5 states. She helped coordinate the members’ arrivals and offered spot-on suggestions for classes and services custom tailored to each group member. When I returned home and reviewed my Miraval account more closely, I noted a potential discrepancy that BJ Holmes gladly helped to resolve. I would highly recommend BJ for her personal touch to the traveling endeavor.

Fantastic experience: Our trip was really nice. We loved the ship and all of the speciality options. However, we do have a few negative reviews. First, the casino drink service gets a zero out of ten. They are rude, don’t come around, or you don’t know that they’re walking by because they don’t say “drinks” while walking by. Most of the time if you did see them and said drinks while they walked by they would ignore you. Once I finally did get a person, they were rude and would not give me a soda without charging me. I had the beverage package and had been served a soda in the casino a number of times prior to this occurrence. Another complaint is the way the excursions are presented on cruise and what the excursions actually are. All the excursions we booked, according to the cruise details, were moderate. When we received our tickets they all stated extreme activity. I purposely didn’t book extreme activity since I just got out of the hospital with pneumonia so extreme would be too much. When we were on the excursions, they were so different for myself to do.

Fantastic experience: We have received excellent service from BJ Holmes of Travelmakers the many times we have used her. She has recommended wonderful places for us to visit and all of her travel recommendations and reservations she has made for us have been terrific. She helped us negotiate the confusing market for trip insurance (highly recommended) and worked with the trip insurance company to get us the refunds which were due. We highly recommend working with BJ for a great trip and peace of mind.

Fantastic experience: When my wife told me that she wanted to go to Africa I had my doubts and trepidations. I’m not a very good traveler. Fantastic experience: I wanted to plan our first European River cruise for March/April 2025. I contacted Kelly Good. We started making plans a full year ahead. She was very patient for me being a first timer . Our cruise is with Viking but she helped me work through decisions. She was able to get us assigned seating on our flights. I wanted to take a side trip in Netherlands. Kelly made arrangements for rental car. She gave me pointers on getting through European airports. Apparently there are APPS for everything. Kelly has been an amazing source for information and keeping me on task plus supplying me with reassurance that I can do this.

Her recommendations have always been spot-on and she always considers your wishes when suggesting places to go and visit. She cares about her clients and it shows in her interactions with us. We have sent several couples to her for their travel plans and she always gets it right. Transportation was coordinated perfectly, and it was so nice not having to worry about it once we got there. Dreams resort was beautiful and the view from our room was absolutely breath-taking. One of our favorite parts was the “all-inclusive” aspect. We definitely took advantage of the room service, unlimited food and drinks, and restaurants that were at our resort. Not to mention, the amazing service; they let us upgrade our room for free because we were in front of a noisy pool! We enjoyed most of our days relaxing by the beach or pools. We took your recommendation one evening and went on a sunset sailboat excursion along the Sea of Cortez and saw the famous Arch. It was a highlight of our trip. We also had the opportunity to visit the beautiful Flora Farms. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cabo. They grow all their own organic food at the farm and serve it farm-to-table at their restaurant. The food was phenomenal and it was fun to do a little tour around the farm after. This trip was an unforgettable experience! I cannot thank you enough for all your effort and recommendations. There were so many firsts in this journey, yet they knew how to provide communication and comfort for this introduction to French Polynesia. They organized everything for me and offered every detail necessary and went beyond what I could have imagined. They put me in touch with their Tahiti team when I arrived, who were equally incredible. Mona offered a beautiful arrival gift for me in Nuku Hiva and Chris was the touchstone for making changes for me to go to Bora~Bora for a treasured experience and she managed somehow to create savings for me with transfers and flight changes. Everything about the way they work together was gracious and exuberant. They each knew I was writing a book and provided the path to the threshold of Nuku Hiva and Hiva Oa and then my unexpected leap to Bora~Bora. I was swept away by their service, kindness and divine way of handling details that were truly beyond my depth. A splendid surprise arrived with the gift of Air Tahiti's Business Lounge; I discovered there was a shower! After the heat and travel of the day, I was instantly restored and rejuvenated for my long flight home. Fantastic experience: My sister and I booked a "bucket list" trip to Manhattan. Our travel agent was Mona Stephenson, who booked the limousine and hotel. Everything was top notch! The driver was waiting when we arrived at JFK, he was friendly and even showed us a bit of New York, before we stopped at the hotel. Our rooms were luxurious with views of Madison Avenue. Mona told us to try the specials at the piano bar. ( the main restaurant was closed due to Covid) I'm so glad we did, the music, food and drinks were "spot on!". Fantastic experience: My wife and I got married in 2020 in the middle of the pandemic and weren’t able to book a honeymoon. We ended up waiting two years and man was it worth it! The itinerary was flawless and included a fabulous hotel that was reasonably priced and within walking distance of everything. She also planned for us to see some of the best highlights in the city. I will always use her again in the future!

Fantastic experience: BJ Holmes was very helpful in helping us deal with Holland America, spending hours on the phone with trying to and eventually speaking with a live voice, in helping us plan on our Northern Isles trip and providing guidance on taking out our travel insurance policy and transportation to and from the ship. l really don't know who became more frustrated with Holland America but the trip was much more organized with BJ helping us than the HA customer service representative. Though I want nothing to do with Holland America in the future, I would highly recommend Travelmakers in dealing with the complexities of making travel arrangements now and in the future. Fantastic experience: Mona Stephenson w/Travelmakers planned a trip for my wife and I to Tahiti - and it was great! We started with a 3 day stay at the St Regis in Bora Bora - Mona arranged for us to check in at 11 am! Others had to wait until 3 pm to check in. Mona also booked a week-long cruise on the Paul Gaughan, which was fantastic - we got $400 in vouchers for the cruise (in addition to a great overall price), and when the trip was over, we received an additional $480 in rebates! Additionally, all this planning was done during Covid, and we had to cancel the trip twice! Mona made sure that we kept our value and didn't lose money - which was quite a feat. I was very pleased with the value provided by Travelmakers, and specifically the service provided by Travelmakers. I'd reccommend them highly!

Fantastic experience: Mona Stephenson with Travelmakers planned our Honeymoon trip to Italy and it was absolutely amazing!! The hotel was fantastic, and the staff was extremely helpful. Because this was our first time in Italy, and it was our Honeymoon we relied on Mona’s expertise and on where to stay and go and we could not have been happier with her suggestions. The hotel in Florence was in the center of town, so we were able to walk through the many historical sites and seeing incredible sculptures and buildings enjoy fantastic food, too much food probably . Travel accommodations to other towns was preset and extremely easy to use with Mona's direction. Mona was in contact with all the entire time, and everything went as smooth as possible. Fantastic experience: Mona Stephenson with Travelmakers planned a trip to The Society Islands (Tahiti) last summer. I took a seven day cruise aboard the Paul Gauguin cruise ship. Mona handled all the logistics flawlessly including arranging a stay for me at a resort for two days coming and going. I am a single traveler. She put together a group of people that I did not know and we had a wonderful time together to the extent that the whole group is planning on doing a river cruise this summer.
