Negative experience: Absolutely awful service. My son and his gf broke down on Christmas Eve. They received nothing but the run around with getting the car towed. Here we are 5 days later and the car still sits where it broke down. Luckily it was in a relatives driveway, 60 miles from home but expected to stay with the car. For days. Would NEVER recommend AAA to anyone.

Negative experience: Worst experience I have ever had. No one should ever sit in the side of the highway for 2+ hours. Called the tow truck company and they stated to have received the call from triple a 2 hours after I initially reached out to them.

Negative experience: Terrible, terrible ,terrible, terrible. Its been over 8 hours and now its the middle of the night and the car had to be left on MSU campus. And now the call is considered low priority because they cant find a service provider in the city of Lansing/East Lansing...one of the busiest cities in Michigan. Wth? Awful, awful, awful. What are we paying for exactly?

Negative experience: Not happy yet again. Car shut off going down the highway from ann arbor to jackson. And I called aaa at 1am. For a tow home. They said 5 something someone should be here. And now it's 9am. And still my car sits on the side of i-94. Not happy

Negative experience: They have zero clue what they are doing, definitely not the AAA my parents had. First I total a car and it took them almost 3 months to settle my claim. First they fought with the credit union about how a pay off letter was wrote, then after that they did my evaluation wrong three times causing the Gap insurance to refuse claim, then they proceeded to fight with gap insurance like they were in high school. Now I call to make a change to my policy and they say they can’t because they haven’t received paperwork that they never sent, by they way this is not the first time they have failed on paperwork, same thing with auto pay they never send documents to sign and I get booted off auto pay because of it, never had insurance that is so extra and difficult oh and incompetent. So anyway now they are telling me I need to send proof of medical insurance because I opted out which is not true. I have my declaration page in front of me now that clearly shows I choose 250,000. I’m calling for new insurance elsewhere Monday morning. Goodbye AAA

Negative experience: My husband and I have had road service for decades and they charged me $50 to have my jeep towed. We have not used this service maybe once or twice in decades... seems like they could of given us a break. Also if I waited 3 days it would of been no charge to me.... oh yea it only covered 5 miles! Had to pay tow driver another $15

Negative experience: Been paying for what I thought was premium insurance. Boy was I wrong. Lowballed my 2016 Rogue when it was totalled because they knew I had gap. You cannot get through to this agency in Jackson after being on eternal hold they never call you back. Very poor customer service.

Negative experience: AAA insurance of Jackson should be avoided. They are very expensive and made unauthorized charges to my policy ( Stay away from agent: Chris Webb). Im working on filing insurance fraud by an agent. Every year rates went up astronomically. No tickets or accidents history. I droup AAA and went with a nationally advertised insurer. I'm very happy to say that I saved ~150% on my premium. Go elsewhere....

Negative experience: I have had AAA for years now. The first time I ever used it, it took over 3 hours for them to get me a tow truck to change my flat tire in dead winter with an infant. Now, I tried to use it to get my car towed to a shop that's 16 miles from where the car is parked. I called and was told that they could use all my tows ( which is 5 measly miles 4 times a year) for this one tow. Now, that being said someone has to be with the car for them to tow it. So when I had someone available to go be with my car I called back and was told that is called "Piggybacking" and it is against their policy. OK. Understandable. I get transferred to a supervisor and she tells me that she has my previous conversation recorded and to please wait while she listens to the conversation. So I waited. Then this supervisor tells me that she "heard her employee tell me that they would do that, but unfortunately they're not going to honor it and will use the recording for further training for that employee". I hang up. I call my insurance agent bc clearly I am no longer giving AAA anymore of my hard earned money and they told my agent that I'm mad because " I asked them to piggyback miles and it's against their policy" totally twisting the story. YOUR EMPLOYEE OFFERED ME TO USE ALL MY MILES AND THEN YOU HEARD IT RECORDED AND DID NOT HONOR IT. I NEVER ASKED FOR YOU TO PIGGYBACK MY MILES. I WILL NEVER USE THIS WORTHLESS COMPANY AGAIN. THANKS! ☺
