Fantastic experience: We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Dan, Shelby and Ryan are amazing. They took excellent care of us from the first try scuba experience to certification and way beyond. We feel like family more than just customers. Dan and Shelby were spot on with all gear recommendations and Ryan was a very patient and knowledgeable instructor. We can't wait for our first dive trip with Access Scuba. We are definitely hooked.

Fantastic experience: I didn’t actually do business with them, but I can say the staff is incredibly kind! The location used to be the house my mom grew up in, and since we were visiting from Texas, I just had to stop by. They were so gracious—letting us take photos and look around. If I lived here, I’d absolutely get my certification through them!

Fantastic experience: After doing my first scuba dive in Cancun, I wanted to get my open water certification, so I contacted Access Scuba. Dan is a wonderful scuba instructor, and great teacher. There are some parts of the course that are tough, but I was able to push through it and it made me a better diver. I learned all the essential skills needed to start my journey with scuba diving. If you're thinking of getting certified to dive, this is the right place!

Fantastic experience: Dan and Shelby are amazing! I would give more stars if I could. I struggled with removing my mask under water and didn't feel ready to do the actual dive. They offered more pool training sessions with me until I felt confident enough to move forward. I really appreciate their help and expertise.

Fantastic experience: This is Frank. This is the second time I have signed up for open water scuba certification in Logan, UT. The first time was with a “company” that, after COVID delays and two further YEARS of requesting training with no satisfaction, refused to refund my fees! ACCESS SCUBA was a completely different experience! Shelby and Dan were my trainers who operate out of a complete scuba shop (equipment, filled cylinders, BCDs, etc.) at a centrally located storefront here in Logan and Cache Valley. Right from the start, pool training at Utah State University was conducted in a professional and fun manner. Trainers made certain that each student could successfully complete each of the important scuba and safety exercises. If repetition was deemed necessary for individuals, we all waited until all participants were successful. I’m nearly 77 so I needed a bit more help and guidance, at times, and these were provided. The open water final dives were conducted at Belmont Hot Springs and provided the opportunity to practice our skill in a less confined environment. Shelby and Dan were a delight to work with, the SSI classroom training materials and videos were professionally developed with each section including clear and measurable objectives. ACCESS SCUBA and SSI are truly professional groups who clearly enjoy their work and opportunity to introduce “landlubbers” to the joys of being weightless in underwater environments. And their program for adaptive diving illustrates their mission to bring these joys to all, even those with disabilities. I recommend them without any hesitation. Happy diving!

Fantastic experience: I recently completed my dive certification with Access Scuba. Dan and Shelby were my instructors and can’t say enough good things about the their vast knowledge, professionalism and making the class fun. If you need lessons in Utah I would only look at Access Scuba!

Fantastic experience: Several people have touted Dan and his crew at Access Scuba for their outstanding dive instruction and I agree wholeheartedly, but I didn’t know until recently whether they serviced equipment or not. With only a few days left before my dive trip to Honduras, I called Dan at Access Scuba and asked if he could check out my gear. He went over it and found a problem with the first stage of my regulator that could have put me at great risk. I also asked him to check out my Suunto Dive computer because it wasn’t working properly either. Dan was able to get my gear repaired and working in plenty of time for my trip. I’m in Utila and all my gear is working great. I highly recommend Dan not only for his kindness, but for his service expertise as well. Thank you!!

Fantastic experience: Access Scuba is an extremely professional organization that provides incredible customer service. I recently contacted Dan about trying to obtain my Open Water Certification as I had only a couple days on my calendar in the area to do so. Dan is extremely responsive and was very flexible to help me finish my cert for a fair price and in the limited time I had. Fantastic experience: I am at retirement age and got pretty broken in a bad accident on the highway, so I thought that I was not strong or well enough to scuba dive. No so. At least not with Access Scuba. It took me a little extra time in training, but once in the water, I don't feel so broken and handicapped ( my injuries were not just physical). I am hoping to do some Access Scuba excursions and I feel like I have a lot more to look forward to. All because Dan and his team are the best, for everyone, at almost any age. Kindness, patience and, safety are all what Access Scuba is about. Not to mention a ton of fun too. Thank you Dan and Access Scuba! I love you all.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I debated long and hard on whether to scuba certify locally or at a vacation destination. Ultimately, with family advice and with very reasonable pricing, we decided to certify with Access Scuba. Seriously best choice ever. Dan, our instructor and subsequently the owner or Access Scuba, was a phenomenal instructor. Our scuba group had a big range of ages (10 yr olds through 50+ ) and he instructed everyone really well. 100% satisfied with our experience and can't wait to be able to now go on a vacation and just enjoy the scuba diving.

I took the word of my cousins to go through access scuba. I wasnt disappointed. Everything as fsr as price goes seemed reasonable. Fantastic experience: We rented canyoneering gear for a hike through the narrows. The gear was high-quality and way cheaper than the stores around Zion, and everybody was super nice and helpful!

Fantastic experience: We love working with Dan & all his staff at Access Scuba! 3 years ago, they helped certify our three daughters which was a fantastic experience. Our 11-year-old did so well and learned to be such a safe diver. At the Midway Crater, Dan's wife gave the most incredible attention to our 11-year-old. We were so impressed! Also, we have been able to take 2 amazing Scuba dive trips with Access Scuba to Turneffe Island, Belize & Moorea, Tahiti. The trips and travel were set up & handled very well. The diving was excellent, and the company was a blast!

Fantastic experience: Let me preface this by saying that I have been terrified of drowning since adulthood. So as one does, my partner & I booked a scuba dive on our upcoming trip lol we decided it would be a good idea to get certified beforehand & set some dates with Access Scuba. From the first phone call, Sydney was so enthusiastic about diving & was able to work out some time for us to train, even with our crazy schedules & tight timeline. She was so sweet & really got us hyped about taking on the endeavor. Dan was our instructor & I couldn’t have asked for better! He was extremely relaxed and personable, very understanding and patient with my fears, but also honest when it came to having to overcome them. When I learned that Dan had over 4000 dives under his belt, I realized that we were in great hands. It took me a couple of sessions to become comfortable with trusting the gear, and had to do some practicing at home to get used to water being on my face/near my nose. After four pool dives, I was able to crush it at our final sessions in Midway Crater! Talk about a 180, now all I can think about is diving, learning more skills, & getting back in the water! Currently working on convincing my parents to learn so that I have a reason to dive more! I don’t think this would have been possible with any other instructor. I never thought I would do something like this & especially not in the desert of all places haha Thank you so much Dan!!

Fantastic experience: Access Scuba has everything that you need to start and advance your scuba diving journey. My partner and I signed up for the course and Dan was accommodating in finding dates and times that worked well for us. In less than a month we went from clueless to diving to depths of 60 ft confidently and comfortably. Also the gear that Access Scuba provides is of great quality and consistently reliable.

Fantastic experience: A great choice for scuba!! My husband and I and 2 of our kids all wanted to get certified before our trip to Hawaii and Dan made sure that happened with plenty of time to spare so there was no stress at all. Fantastic experience: GO THROUGH ACCESS SCUBA THEYRE AMAZING!!! I had the greatest experience! The people were extremely accommodating and kind! Dan and all of his instructors are very knowledgeable about the diving, equipment and what to dos! We very ambitiously signed up 3 weeks before a trip to California and told them we wanted to finish ASAP and they got us in the pool 2 days later! It was amazing and I felt so safe the entire time!! I wish I could give them more then 5 stars! The entire experience was amazing!

Fantastic experience: There was a mishap with the gear rented to me, but they did a great job resolving it. Mistakes sometimes happen what matters most to me is how well they are taken care of. I even found my new favorite (flippers) Mares x-stream fins. Hopefully I can make it out to dive agean soon.

Negative experience: Said they where open Saturday at ten got there 10:30 nobody there fail

Fantastic experience: My husband bought me an open water scuba certification class for Christmas. I was really nervous to learn scuba diving because I had previously taken a “try scuba” class at a different place and I panicked and could not do it. I decided to give it a try, and was happily surprised at how well I was taught. Dan was the instructor, and he made me feel very comfortable with not being able to do the different skills first try (or second, or even tenth). He let me get comfortable with being underwater and breathing and had faith that I would get every single skill. He was patient and encouraging, and never gave up on me. I had a lot of problems while flooding or removing my mask. I would inhale the water and start choking. I tried multiple times to get it, but just couldn’t seem to keep from panicking and choking. Dan showed me some tricks to keeping the bubble in my nose to keep from choking. He let me dive many times until I was comfortable flooding my mask or removing it and then replacing it and clearing it. I was SO happy when I finally learned the skill and could do it without any anxiety at all. I got my certification without any trouble at all. I can’t wait for my first diving trip. Saying thank you to Dan does not seem like enough. He is awesome!!!! I would recommend him and Access Scuba to anyone who wants to learn to scuba dive, and especially if you have any fear of diving.

Fantastic experience: Amazing shop. We were visiting Sand Hollow for the weekend to dive, got geared up only to find the transmitter for my dive computer wasn't working. I called the shop and Dan said I could come right in and he'd take a look. We tried a couple things that didn't work and he said if I leave him my transmitter, computer and regulator he will keep trying and he sent me off with a regulator so I could still dive. After my dive I met him back at the shop (on a holiday after they had closed) and he had fixed the transmitter. He not only saved the dive but didn't charge us anything. He's just a good guy that loves diving and wanted to help.

Fantastic experience: I recently earned my open water certification through Access. Dan and Cade made it so easy and fun! They allow you to work at your own pace and are extremely knowledgeable in all things scuba diving! They have great prices for both renting and purchasing any scuba diving equipment that you may need. I bought my gear through them and Dan was able to recommend the best gear for mine and my fiances personal needs.

Fantastic experience: access Scuba is an amazing company. It's the cheapest one in St George that we found in our research. They are not lacking in quality they're very easy going and will work with your schedule no matter what. My fiance got certified through access Scuba and it was an amazing, fun, easy-going experience. they let me, who is already certified, go along for a refresher course for an great price. Prices for scuba equipment is very fair as well. we bought all our extra gear from them. Dan and cade are great instructors and will work with you weather you are an expert already or scared of the water. they let you go at the pace you need to keep you happy and safe. a great experience. prices for rentals are also good. I will be renting from them for future dives.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Access Scuba was phenomenal! Getting used to all of the gear and being under water can be a bit overwhelming to say the least. My instructors did an amazing job at making me feel comfortable and safe. My biggest struggle was mask removal, and by the end of the program I could remove and replace my mask like a pro. I feel comfortable and safe enough to go enjoy scuba diving now, and knowing what to do in case of an emergency. Thank you Access Scuba!

Fantastic experience: Not only are they the BEST DEAL in town, but they are by far the best dive shop and dive experience you can find anywhere. I have been certified by other shops in town, but when it was time to get my wife certified I decided to try Access Scuba. I was blown away by their patience, professionalism, and the fun experience Dan provided to my family. Another great benefit of Access scuba is not only the great value on certs and rentals, the family warm experience, and the expertise, but Access scuba has always had the NEWEST and BEST GEAR to rent or buy. I hate going to dive shops and renting a BCD that you can tell has been in service from the 90's. Access scuba's gear is always the latest and greatest and I have always felt safe and feel like I received a great deal on my rentals and purchases. I CANT RECOMMEND THEM ENOUGH! Just stop in and see for yourself.
