Negative experience: I went to the AAA location on Vaughn Road becaI tried to acquire some answers over the telephone, I was switched numerous times to different departments, I was hung up on a few times, I requested a agent that had knowledge about different insurance coverages, there weren't any available, I was told that they didn't have any agents, one person tried to answer my questions, however, she didn't know the answers because she wasn't qualified, she wasn't a agent, she switched me to someone else, he hung up the telephone, these representatives were rude ,discourteous, impolite and hostile. I went to AAA in person, to find out why my insurance water damage coverages was deleted and replaced with a Water Back up and Sump Pump Overflow. I don't have a Sump Pump, I asked the agent to add Sewage Back Up not a Sump Pump coverage, this person named Andrea Swan was hired to replace Mr. Emmit, he was very knowledgeable, and Ms..Swanson wasn't knowledgeable and didn't understand any of the coverages, and this is why my water damage coverage was replaced with the Sump Pump thatI don't have, my last agent was very knowledgeable, professional, and competent, Ms Swan wasn't competent, professional, or knowledgeable, and this is why she made the error. AAA increase my Insurance Premium by 60% last year, and 12% this year and I requested an explanation, and I wasn't given one. When I went to AAA on Monday July21,2025, I requested to speak to Ms. Swanson about h Sump Pump error she made, I was told by this person that stated she was the manager, she stated that Ms. Swanson was on a phone call and that she would call me Tuesday morning, it is 1:45 and she hasn't called, Manager, also stated that my insurance was incredibly high because I was paying for my coverage and other insured also, I asked if I cold switch my AAA membership to the online one, and she said no I couldn't, that AAA would cancel my insurance if I did, I stated that her statement wasn't true, because AAA stated if I canceled my auto, I would lose my 25% discount, she was very incompetent unprofessional and extremely rude because she lack the knowledge and was telling me the wrong information, she rudely stated Get Out, and walking fast behind me, she was very aggressive, I was absolutely astounded, this is a so called poor excuse for Manager, I only corrected her and she was extremely angry because I did correct her,this information is in my Insurance Policy, I have been a member of AAA for 21 years and have had Insurance for numerous years, and this Manager, hostile, extremely rude horrible behavior is unacceptable, she had no right to treat me this way, she was extremely and incredibly a bad Manager that was incompetent, and as a result she demanded me to get out. I do not recommend this AAA location because this manager has a terrible, and awful bad horrible attitude and it is unacceptable, I regret going to this location it is the worst business ever, and what a disappointment.

Negative experience: Adrienne was a terrible roadside assistance service rep last night. Began by saying AAA DOESN'T go to dirt roads. Then gave two outsource referrals, one first 2 1/2 hours away then a second much closer. Repeating names incoherently that I had to ask her to spell out with "like letter" words. She was haughty and impolite , unprofessional. My 40 year membership was no help with car stuck in mud in Plantersville, AL.

Negative experience: Their tow service is awful! Took six hrs for someone to come from a town only 35 miles away. When he came he still couldn't find the address. My son had to meet him and we live in town. Aaa you got to do better.

Negative experience: I have been a customer of AAA since 2019. I called to add a car onto my policy on 5/22/24. Because it was 8 minutes before closing I was hung up on twice. I should have known that was a sign... 6 working days later, 5 agents later I still had no insurance on my new car. Nor did I even have a quote. The first agent, Andre didn't call me back to let me know I needed to speak with my agent. I spoke to him first time on 5/23/24. I found out on 5/28/24. I next spoke with Brea 3 times on 5/29/24. The second time she told me two times she had never spoke to me when I had asked her name each time we spoke plus called her number. I then spoke to Janet the office manager who informed me I needed to speak with Brea to give her my info which I had already done on one of two of the other calls. The third call Brea got another agent named Susie to get on the call. That agent told me she would have to get someone else and she would transfer me. That call either dropped or I was hung up on. No one called back. I have even called the regional manager Amanda King whom still 2 days later has not returned my call. My agent Terry Hillman was stuck in Texas and depending on all others to take care of a simple transaction. She had absolutely nothing to do with any of this.

Negative experience: I called Triple A cause my car wouldn't start and I was parked in a parking deck that told me they had no one to come tow me because I was in a parking deck that it would be morning before they could find someone. They also told me to ask the security officer for a jump start. I pay u for road side assistance and u left me to fend for my self. This is a terrible way to treat people.

Negative experience: My husband called to get roadside service today 8-9-2023 he needed a battery the dispatcher called someone in Clanton AL. the man called him and he said I don't have any batteries but I will come jump you off then a little while later he called back and said I can't get out of the parking lot my husband just told him to forget it and he had a client of ours to jump him off. I called roadside services back and the lady was very nice and said she would cancel himcand made notes of what I told her. If this is the way they respond when they are called to assist someone I do not want any part of this. Very disappointed we pay AAA and they use this kind of idiots. After my husband told them he needed a battery I thought they would bring a battery!

Negative experience: The agent was helpful and nice during the initial process, but my car insurance premium increased shortly afterwards. My insurance agent won't return my calls so I am definitely not renewing at a higher rate without an explanation.

Negative experience: Had blow out on interstate and took over six hours for tow truck to show up. AAA really messed up on the dispatch and follow-up. Barely use their services but when I need them they fail me.

Fantastic experience: Something you as a consumer should know. Is to call in these reps get a commission so you will pay a higher fee, rather go online on their website posted here and you will pay a lot less. For instance the rep fee told me $112 + $20.00 set up fee.. I asked to waive the $20 set up fee and I was to receive documentation of the offerings for roadside assistance. However I never received and so I looked online to see if I could see these details and yes I could and not only that paid only $85.00!! Who wants to pay more when you can save. I highly recommend to use the Capitol One app on Google which will save you an extra $5.00.

Negative experience: My wife was strained with a flat tire 30 miles from home. She called and AAA advised someone would call her back with an eta. Never got a call back. An Alabama Power truck stopped and the guy changed the tire for her just before dark and she got home safety, no thanks to AAA. AAA did call at 11pm to ask did she ‘still need a tow’. We have been a member for 13 years and have usually got good service, but when one needs emergency service- nothing less will do, that’s what we pay for and expect with every call!

Negative experience: Waited 3 hours and never got assistance for my flat tire. Not to mention I was in a very bad neighborhood. Called several times to no avail. I cancelled my membership, demanded to off their main list and told all friends and family to do the same. Done with AAA forever.

Negative experience: My husband and I jave been with AAA for years. We have had several bad experiences with them. Yesterday we call for a tow at 3pm they said they will be there at 4:45. They never came, called or texted. We had to call them back and after 3hours we just called a independent tow company. It makes us wonder what are they good for? We've had lots of missed communications and back and forth with them but all they can offer is apologies. Which does us no good when we are stuck somewhere along side a road. We can't get credit for their mistakes but when it come time to pay them dues they want you to be on time. They have really lost my faith in them. I use to praise them to people about joining but now i don't recommend it to no one. It's use at your own risk but don't get you hopes up because you might be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff. Masked are required for health and safety. Social distancing being enforced as well. Business was clean as well on inside. My only complaint is the PARKING LOT IS FULL OF POT HOLES. Hertz rental car is also located within the business and I don't understand WHY the parking lot is not as nice as the 2 businesses it is used for. That is in no way shape or form, good for any visitors car or the cars that are rented by Hertz. I still give them 5 stars because I do understand that it may be a rented building therefore, the fault for the parking lot may fall on the property owner. Yet, either way I was just confused to visit a place that is in the BUSINESS of cars one way or the other but you may need a 4-wheel alignment after you leave there due to the potholes in the parking lot.

Negative experience: They charge to much and I dont use the service that often. I think that if the service isnt used then you should recieve a portion back, I pay 181.00 for car insurance by itself then 56.00 for the AAA club. Thats two payments a month and I think thats a lot. I can do better with Geico. Well atleast thats what Geico said. I really need to look into other services and stop procrastinating.

Fantastic experience: We unfortuntely locked they keys in the vehicle. Triple AAA sent a man named Travis out to unlock our vehicle. Not only was he professional, but we were in our vehicle and on our way in 5 minutes tops. He was very nice!!
