Negative experience: Terrible and the blind technicians leading the other blind technicians This place stay way away from plz don’t waste your money They couldn’t even fix my car and my car now sits at the dealership and the dealership charged me for these do nothing technicians did not put back together, left the next experienced technician in awe and wow moment. Negative experience: My wife was in bob sumerel yesterday because she had a tire losing air. She asked them to check for a nail. They came back and told her she needed four brand new tires and quoted her over 1200 dollars. They said there is no nail in your tire. They said that the tires are dry rotting and the one losing air was the worst. I told her to have them air it up and for her to bring the car home. Upon inspecting the tire myself I could see that there is definitely a nail in the tread of the tire in question. This is predatory and plain nonsense to treat a woman this way. If this is their way of conducting business then they will never get our business again. Btw my wife just had her car in the ford dealership for an oil change less than a month ago. They informed her that she needed to replace the tires but not until winter. Bad business.

Negative experience: I made an appointment to have ac checked because it was blowing hot air. My appointment was on Friday at 9:00am. I drop off my car the night before thinking they would look at it at my appointment time. No called me the next day so I called to check on my car. I was informed that they didn’t have time to look at my car even though I had an appointment. They were too busy. Why did they schedule an appointment if they couldn’t look at my car? They told me they wouldn’t be able to get to my car until next week sometime. They kept my car all day and did nothing and wanted me to make another appointment. No way. Do not waste your time at this location. They are very inconsiderate and rude.

Fantastic experience: My mother in law is in a nursing home. I use her car to transport her to doctor appointments as she is on oxygen. Her battery was replaced by AAA last July and it died recently. I called for warranty service. I talked to 3 different departments multiple times at AAA and 2 different Bob Sumerell locations multiple times.. They were rude, said they couldn't and wouldn't communicate with eachother, and that none of the 3 departments could pull up member information and historical repair records at the same time to show the previous work receipt and member info to approve warranty battery replacement ...then came Darrick Franklin at the Bob Sumerel location in Forest Park, OH...I explained the situation along with the runaround I had been experiencing..his response was "come on, are you serious?" He asked for 2 pieces of information and the battery was replaced with 30 minutes of my phone call with him...that includes my driving time to get to him after our 3 minute phone call. He was waiting with the battery when I got there...I wont be messing around with AAA or any other Bob Sumerel locations anymore. I'm going straight to him...forever, and so should everyone who reads this..wow...it was refreshing to find someone so nice that fully understands everything enough to cut through red tape and provide the service that was promised. Kudos bro..you won my loyalty along with everyone I come in contact with.

Negative experience: DO NOT COME HERE. I am begging you all do not make the same mistake I did. I don't understand automobiles... and I was greatly taken advantage of - because Bob Sumerel technicians don't either. When I noticed my coolant was way below the low level in the reservoir (RIGHT before taking it to Bob Sumerel) - I thought it was just running through the vehicles system. Wrong. My boyfriend informed me coolant should always stay between the full and low-level line. Because I do not have hard evidence - pictures and dates - showing it was way below the low line and my oil was way over the maximum line and tinted green because it was full of coolant... They're shaking their hands of responsibility. They insist it happened after I left the lot. What evil men... For now, I have to figure out how to pay for a $5,000+ engine replacement for my vehicle I bought 3 weeks ago. How hard is it to let a customer know having no coolant and it being in the oil is a big problem? I trusted them to inspect this vehicle because I don't know anything... when I asked how will they sleep at night knowing I am completely screwed? They shrugged and told me it isn't their problem. SHRUGGED. Evil. Please spread the word this is a terrible place to take your vehicle to. I will be posting on all social media platforms and by mouth to those I know. I will not risk someone I care about getting screwed over by these evil men. They do not know what they're doing.

Negative experience: Never got in, came in on a Tuesday and they pushed me out 9 days on Thursday. They called me on the Tuesday before appointment and said they if I came in they may not get me in because of staffing issues so I canceled the appointment. Nobody buys a car to let it sit at the mechanic.

Negative experience: My serpentine belt broke on my Saab 92X. I belong to AAA so I thought...ok take it to a full service AAA auto repair. I have it towed on Oct 10. On Oct 23 I finally get an estimate of $975. That sounded crazy. I google "average price of serpentine belt replacement"...$70 to $200. I call Avid Automotive to get a quote for the belt replacement...$173 with tax. I then had car towed to Avid. Horrible service...ridiculous price. $975 vs $173 lol...dont use these guys.

Negative experience: Our family uses this location as it is close to all of us and we are AAA members. Not sure we'll be going back. Had traveled out of town for weekend and on Sunday tire was low. Put air in it and drove home. 2 days later same tire was flat. Called AAA Roadside assistance. They came, put air in the tire. Made an appointment at Bob Summeral FP. When we dropped off the car we told them about the tire and it needed to be throughly checked because it had been very low and then flat. Also requested and oil change. When we returned and asked about the tire we were told it was fine. Did you take it off car -NO. Mgr did take a bottle of soapy water out and checked valve stem said it was fine. Next morning - FLAT. Took car to competator and in 10 min of having car they called and sald there were 3 small punctures and a slit in tire.(likely from something in the road) How did you NOT see that Bob Summeral?? Don't feel confident in services performed as this could have certainly become a road safety issue.

Fantastic experience: Old School Hospitality! Normally I come here for oil changes but today I just needed air in my tires. I Hate putting air in tires! Before I could pull out my AAA membership card, the mechanic said "No problem" and he went to filling my tires ♀️ at no charge. He wouldn't even take a tip. He just smiled and said "Be safe ma'am".

Negative experience: Spent nearly $1k on tires and was told that one of four TPSM sensors had gone bad and would cost an additional $90 to replace. After completing the work, the warning light did not go off, but was told it would within driving 20mi. Returning two weeks later since the light had not gone off, I was told another one was now suddenly bad and would cost me another $90 and insinuating the next two were now probably going to need to be replaced in the near future. If they had been upfront with me in the first place, I would not have had it replaced to begin with. They had no intention of refunding of me for what’s now essentially a paper weight in my tire. I don’t feel like I can trust them to be honest with me and doubt that I’ll be back since their prices aren’t better than anywhere else either.

Negative experience: Terrible experience...Have been going to Bob Sumerel for year...Have always had excellent customer service. They had a new manager Brad @ Forest Park Ohio. office. . Last 2 times I've been there he isn't friendly... messed up my appointment time ..when I addressed the issue he had no concern. When I told him I may not be back he had to corcern for my displeasure. For a loyal customer I felt so dismissed.

Negative experience: We took car in to get flat tire replaced they also did diagnostic on car replaced 2 tires and cabin air filter. We picked up car and we had no heat to ac. We called they said they did. Nothing wrong will need to come back in and pay 100 for diagnostic. We had an appointment at 8 am today and the tire that they replaced flew off the vehicle. Negative experience: If I could give a -0 I would, took my truck up on Saturday for 1 simple fix, all of a sudden it spits out a code which didn't do it before, this is there doing and I better not get charged for something they did, and was promised back today by 3, of all the money we spend there, it is never back on time, it is still sitting there, I had to cancel my plans cause I had no vehicle as promised because of they're mess up

Their text message with exactly what had been looked at on the car and recommendations was great information. Fantastic experience: They are very honest and let you know exactly what needs to be done before they do it. They keep you posted on when your vehicle will be finished. I love it that they don't try to upsell anything. I used to take my car somewhere else and they were always trying to get me to rotate the tires, change the transmission fluid, etc. all at an additional charge. They don't do that at Bob Sumerel!!

Fantastic experience: A very well managed, friendly, and knowledgeable team works at this location. Harley is especially helpful and willing to take the extra steps necessary to go above and beyond regular customer service expectations. He was patient and fully explained options without trying to push any repairs that were not immediately needed. He also took the extra time and care to assist us in documenting repairs needed/done in order for us to be fully reimbursed by the dealership the vehicle was purchased from. All of this helped solidify that we would definitely come back for any future car work needed on this or other vehicles we own.

Negative experience: We have taken our cars here for many years to this Bob Sumerel (under the formal management) and LOVED the customer service we had received. They were also honest and let us know of what needed to be done right away, as well as what could wait. Unfortunately, when Harley took over, EVERYTHING changed for the worse. A few times, I would have work done and waited...and waited...and waited. I was in the waiting area for hours with no update from anyone. I had to come up quite a few times to ask what was taking so long...only to get a "they're working on it" reply. Again, I had to ask, after several hours of silence. Other times, I would try to find out about what was going on with the car or work, only to be cut short, talked over, or completely ignored. The very last straw was when my wife tried to find out answers concerning her car, and was rudely addressed, talked over, cut short...and basically "yelled at"...unprovoked. It was so loud, my daughter in the next room heard him. Sadly, this was from the manager, Harley, himself! Please do yourself a huge favor...don't go to this location. If possible, find a better place which will treat you like a human being. Anyone who can be rude, disrespectful, unprofessional and act in this way, doesn't deserve any business whatsoever.
