Fantastic experience: My friend and i booked a custom trip with accent on travel to turkey. We had wonderful handholding throughout which made getting there and thru customs a breeze. The hotels were boutique and extraordinary, both in Istanbul and a special Cave resort in Cappadocia. The hot air balloon trip was the highlight. Loved both cities and we had a wonderful experience. Fantastic experience: I booked my first cruise with Accent on Travel to Alaska 9 years ago and found Annette and her team to be such a delight to work with! When I retired several years later, we started our retirement plan of traveling the world and turned to AOC each and every time. I had worked with another travel agency prior to the Alaska trip and found there were gaps in service, small details not carried through and a general "okay" vs "great" experience. What I get from AOC is such a comfortable, stress-free feeling that I just have to say where I want to go and when, and they figure out what works best. Annette took the time in our initial dealings to figure out what style travelers we were; our preferences to air travel accommodations, pre and post cruise hotel accommodation preference; type of cruise, i.e. adventure vs. total relaxation; choice of cabin type and location, what excursions would work best as a private tour vs those offered by the cruise line and transport needs from home to airport, then cruise docks to tour locations. I sincerely cannot recommend Accent on Travel enough and have done so several times - most recently there was a post in my community HOA fb page asking for recommendations for a "traditional travel agent (a real person I can speak to on the phone, not an online booking service) who specializes in international travel". Fantastic experience: Sofia Hedman at Accent on Travel organized and managed our group sailing trip on the Royal Clipper, including air, airport and local transportation, and presail hotel stay. Everything went smoothly and was handled professionally and promptly, including detailed guidance issued pre-trip. With all of the details taken care of, we never had to worry about anything and were free toenjoy this wonderful trip! Sofia and the Accent on Travel support staff are professional, courteous, and knowledgeable, and respond to all questions promptly. It was a pleasure working with them!
