Negative experience: The entire program is too old and has not conformed to modern America. The travel is even worse with very little discounts for lifetime members and agents who used to be eager to help repeat customers now seem like they could care less. Been with this company 30 years and not impressed anymore. Don’t waste your money on an old system that doesn’t care about its customers.

Negative experience: We have premium plan and renew every year for our family. My husband broke down while he was working 3rd shift in Lawrence Massachusetts and called AAA for a blown tire. They told him 1 hour wait. It took 3 hours and they never showed up. My husband was able to put the spare tire on and drive home. Absolutely horrible customer service. He called multiple times to be told they would be there soon! WHY DO WE PAY FOR IT AND DIDN'T GET HELP WHEN WE NEEDED IT THE MOST. WE LIVE IN NH AND BEING STUCK ON THE ROAD IN LAWRENCE AT 3AM WAS NOT SAFE. VERY UNHAPPY!

Fantastic experience: They are awesome! I go here all the time when I go on trips. They give me maps and detailed directions to each site at no cost. They are always helpful and treat you right! You do have to be an AAA member and show your membership card. They also have a travel agent on board for cruises and plane tickets.

Negative experience: I have been using AAA for 7 years +, I rarely come into this location for the service. I brought my dog with me. She was well behave, and she always was next to me. We came into the store for 2 mins and There was an old lady who has a long white hair, she gave us a whole attitude when she was not even help us out for the service. She yelled out loud that I should keep the dog in a shorter leash, when my dog was already lay next to my feet. It was a horrible experience customer service at AAA company in Salem NH. I definitely never come back to this place. and that lady should get fire.

Fantastic experience: Simple, I was in a quick turn around need to convert dollars to pounds for a trip to England. No fees, no fuss and no time lost. Placed my order in person and two days later I was picking up my cash. Saved more money in not paying fees like other money exchanges charge than my yearly membership costs.

Fantastic experience: I nearly made the mistake of waiting too long before requesting a Triptik from Haverhill to Fort Myers, with a stop in Pennsylvania, but I was in the neighborhood getting my car serviced and called. They got it done in about an hour! Thank you so much! I have an iPhone I often use as a GPS, but it doesn't always know the details AAA knows!

Fantastic experience: In our fast pace world, customer service is always compromised. The service at AAA in Salem NH is excellent. When I called, people were very polite and they answer my questions. I asked for trip ticket and they had it the next day. They also followed that up with an email telling me when it was complete. They also gave me suggestions on car rentals and hotels AAA is recommending. This is the way customer service should be and other should follow. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Kaye at the Salem, NH AAA office went out of her way to prepare the best possible route for my trip to Baltimore, MD and Harrisburg, PA. I wanted to avoid driving through NYC. She removed all the stress with the route she mapped. The Salem, NH AAA office is great to work with. AAA's triptik and map made my trip so much easier. Their careful planning brought me from NH to NJ with minimal traffic. Sure, I was in heavy traffic around the Tapanzee Bridge. It was much better than listening to the lady on the GPS insist on going over the George Washington Bridge. The GPS kept insisting I re-route to the southern route. I did much better by following the AAA and staying on 84 to NY.

Fantastic experience: Taking a trip overseas and needed travel credit card and euros. Card arrived about a week after applying for it, and the money exchange took only two days.

Positive experience: Stopped by the Salem office on our way to Canobie Lake Park for discounted tickets. I was in and out in five minutes, plus received excellent directions to the park from the nice lady at the counter. She even gave us directions to a Subway for lunch on the way. Highly recommend this location.

Fantastic experience: Trying to plan a trip to England Scotland and Wales was difficult until we met with Jennifer Della Penna at AAA in Salem NH. She helped us plan side excursions, choose the best travel insurance and made the whole experience easy. All of the personnel at the AAA in Salem were helpful, courteous and friendly. I will be using them again for future trips.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to the Salem, NH, office of AAA. Previously, I had always gone over to Lawrence, but it has moved so Salem is much more convenient. I wanted a couple tour books and a map for a brief get-a-way for my husband and my 44th anniversary. The woman who helped me was friendly and helpful. We haven't gone away yet but are looking forward to it very much.
