Fantastic experience: Great! Older gentleman was nice and handled my van with great care! Highly recommend
Negative experience: I called triple A for a tow they sent a little old man who when I asked the CAR COMPANY questions , he started screaming at me walking close to me yelling spitting face turning red . Not once did I yell at him I spoke softly and calm he told me I needed to tell him what tow company was coming ( it was a private company ) so I actually did not need to tell him he does not work for the shop that was holding my car he is an employee of TRIPLE A . He then told me to leave and get out I then said oh do your not letting me pay for my car and I have the money and the correct tow ? The actually workers who sat there and watched this man scream at me finally told him to calm down . Triple A is a joke it’s never ok to treat people that way . I honestly feel it’d because I was young alone and black . Never again !

Negative experience: Left my daughter stranded and would not tow her car because there was snow on the road .was in a clear spot . They should be ashamed of themselves to leave a child stranded. However they take my money with no problem. I sent my concern and the email address does not go through.

Negative experience: AAA Utica has terrible customer service! I scheduled an appointment today with a representative to plan an important trip. When I arrived to the appointment I was informed that the person with whom I made the appointment had called in sick. I informed the supervisor that it would have been common sense for someone to contact me prior to traveling to the appointment to let me know that it was canceled. The supervisor said that I didn’t have to “insult” her. No effort was made to reschedule my appointment or apology was offered. In addition, last month I contacted AAA Utica regarding passport renewal and left a message; no one returned my call. These are examples of terrible customer service.

Negative experience: No one answered the phone.
Negative experience: Waited 2 hours for someone to come change my tire just for the people to call me back and tell me no one was coming. Then proceeded to tell me they will leave my ticket open for when they open at 7 am when i told them i need to be to work at 7:30 and that’s why i called 2 hours ago and got told someone is coming immediately. Then the woman i talked to proceeded to close out my ticket so now i have to find a way to my job and call again in the morning. this is so unprofessional

Negative experience: Needed a tow around 430am but no one was on duty till 730am. So much for 24/7 roadside assistance. They didn't help me when needed. Useless service if they aren't there when u need them.

Negative experience: The collection of tourism guides and maps left alot to be desired . For an organization that made it's name on emergency roadside service and travel help , well the travel help , not so much . If the thinking is to just go online in order to look up travel information then why have a physical office and staff ? Now if the answer is many people still rely on paper maps and paper tour guides , then make sure the walkin shelves are filled with the latest tourism information guides as they come available . A business that is in the business of travel should not have it's employees advise the customers to go online for help . That would be like a bank teller tell a customer to patronize the ATM rather use the bank teller to get cash from or when the Thruway had the toll collectors hand out EZ Pass applications ( and look what that did for the collectors . ) I get the story of a shortage but to just plain not stock ( Due to a corporate decision inorder to save money and to expand profits . ) is an incompetent way to run a travel organization .

Positive experience: Excelsior customer service. I had thought my AAA membership was on an auto renewal and it wasn't, so ultimately I missed my due date. I called and they COMPLETELY corrected everything without any lapse in coverage and I have the Plus so I didn't have to lose my level of coverage due to non payment. Kudos to the representative I spoke with. Excellent job!!!

Negative experience: A change of address should be easy. Pay upfront but I can't get my address changed without calling a different agency.

Fantastic experience: Parking and the entrance are located in the rear of the building. The driveway is to the west, right side of the building. The staff was helpful and answered my questions. They provided a free battery test for my six year old car battery informing me it was still in good condition.
