Positive experience: I went there for a car insurance quote only to find that there is no one on-site. The closest location for an inperson quote is in Wadsworth which is too far from Canton for me. So eva will call me when available.

Negative experience: I’m really disappointed with the service I received from Tammy, my AAA travel agent. She was not very engaging and didn’t communicate effectively with the air team or whoever was responsible for helping us resolve our seating issue. There was a lot of finger-pointing between departments, and no one took real ownership of the problem. As a result, we’re still left without proper seats, and the lack of coordination has been really frustrating. I hope this feedback leads to better communication and accountability going forward.

Fantastic experience: I went in about 11 o’clock not realizing that they closed at noon. There was a long line. There were three agents there. They got through the line quickly and even stayed till after 12 to help everybody. I was really struggling with finding flights that would work for me and they took a lot of time to help me find exactly what I needed.

Negative experience: Don't waste your time going here! No one there will help you with your needs! I went in to get a AAA card as was told needed a appointment and the normal lady that handled that was on maternity leave. I then asked for another location and she just said she wasn't sure. So I just left.

Fantastic experience: Sheryl Butler has done a wonderful job in working with our group of 10 to make arrangements for travel to Greece and to make initial reservations for a future cruise along the Dalmatian Coast. Thank goodness I have Sheryl, her memory is much better than mine, and she has quite a bit more to keep up with.

Negative experience: Worst service ever. Had a car that needed towed. 15 minutes out means 15 hours out. Told be there in 15 to to tow it means hours out. Car was impounded. Worst service ever.

Fantastic experience: I was getting ready to make a trip to the Philippines and needed to convert some USD to PHP. I stopped in and Kimberly made the whole process so easy, I was in and out in 15 minutes. Then after I arrived home I had to reverse the process and also needed a passport picture. Again, Kimberly at the front desk, helped me through the whole process and made it all go smoothly. Thanks for such great customer service!!!

Positive experience: Stopped by on a road trip. Noticed that our caravan needed two ez passes. We stopped by and the staff member was helpful and helped us get the passes and set them up. She also helped us remedy some questions regarding our membership. I know this location can sometimes be busy. We arrived right when they opened. Kudos to the team here. We will likely stop by again when in the area

Negative experience: I made a call for a tow truck at 6:23pm, they marked it high risk for being half way in the road on a very busy highway saying they would be there within the hour and they didn’t call back until 8:54 notifying me that they were in the area. I had to wait for hours in a car with my toddler on the side of a terrible road waiting and they never even towed my car. I had to have another company come that showed up 10 minutes sooner and I called them just 25 minutes before all this started!

Negative experience: I would never ever book another trip through AAA. What a nightmare.
Negative experience: My wife and I stopped to help an elderly lady who drove into a ditch. She tried to use her AAA service and was told because she pays extra for “Premium”, that she would be the next tow and it would be 30 minutes. 2 hours later we were told there wasn’t anyone available in the area and that we needed to call another tow company and would be reimbursed. What is the purpose of having AAA if they don’t do anything? Even the cop said AAA is awful and hates dealing with them on a daily basis. I will never use this service. They let a 74 year old woman sit on the side of the road and said “too bad”.

Negative experience: Horrible service. I have a 97 year old man waiting in the parking lot for a tow. Hes been waiting for over 90 minutes and has been told at least three times that someone would be here and they havent shown up and now its past 6:00. Seems to me you need to get a new tow truck providing service and at a minimum consider the age of your members! :(

Fantastic experience: I was very pleased with my visit to AAA Canton. The worker at the front desk was polite, friendly and efficient. I stopped by to pick up books and maps for future travel. This is one of the most important parts of my membership. The books, unlike digital and internet searches, have allowed me to learn about unusual places and the histories of small towns along my routes that I would otherwise have known nothing about. I like to travel back roads and my internet maps often cannot be reached along the way due to poor service in many areas. Having maps and books on hand have saved me a lot of grief! We are fortunate to have the AAA office so nearby!

Negative experience: By far the worse service. Left us stranded for 2 hours after we called and continued to lie and say they were ten minutes away. Never again.

Negative experience: I am a premier Club member from FL. I had to call club in Canton Ohio for tow service. I have been waiting for over 2 hours. Just got a call in other 10 minutes. Going from Exit 191 Faircrest St to Waikem Hyundia. VERY DISAPPOINTED. And the journey is not over yet.

Negative experience: Without a doubt one of the worst customer service experiences of my life. We walk in at around 5:25 and talk to the lady at the front desk. We wanted to get a quote for a cruise. Very easy request. She points out that the agency only had ONE representative working there, and she has a family at her desk. Already I’m unimpressed that their staffing issues are already affecting us, but it’s fine. My girlfriend asks if she can update her membership there. The lady glances at her membership, says “This is from Massillon. You need to go to Massillon.” No...it’s from Pennsylvania. Look, truth is the woman just didn’t want to work 30 minutes before closing. It’s as simple as that. This is where I decided I’ll never deal with AAA again. The front desk employee says she can take my name and number and put us in contact with someone. I smile and say sure and give her my name. She then begins helping the customer behind us. She didn’t take my number whatsoever. Just straight up started talking to the guy behind us. I chime in to try to give my number and am told I can look at cruise brochures if I’d like. I don’t want to look at brochures. I know what I want. I came to get a quote. I came to give you guys my business. Well, you can kiss that goodbye. My advice to you is to dig out the Stark County yellow pages and note you’re not the only travel agency in town. Beyond unprofessional service. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone for any reason. Heed what others have said about their awful experiences - this place is a waste of time. Understaffed, unprofessional, rude, and lazy.

Negative experience: There were problems with the airline reservations that were made at this office for which I paid $30. When I discussed my 2 concerns, the assigned agent was calm but pretty much told me matter-of-factly that I signed the printout so I am obligated to accept the problems. After 40 years of being a AAA member, I at least expected a discourse about the concerns and perhaps a suggested resolution. It is difficult to see the benefit if being a AAA member.

Positive experience: Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Handled our request for a triptik and maps really well. Okay, so we are old fashioned and got a triptik. We shouldn't have bothered. In the old days the triptiks were fun and gave useful information on each page like how far between points and miles covered on that page, and where the rest areas were, all clearly marked. Now, we have a hard time telling what state we're in, how far it is to the next place we want to stop, etc. We had to guess the last mile marker in each state and took notes for ourselves to write it on there for the next time. Road construction delays were not that reliable either. I know this is probably a low priority anymore, but make it better or get rid of it.
Positive experience: Slow and overpriced (this store/branch). I'm going back to Vehicle Manufacturer roadside coverage (much cheaper, with many of same benefits as AAA).
Fantastic experience: We received detailed information on car rentals in Germany which was very helpful. Especially the suggestion to check on our particular credit card as it allows us to waive most of the expensive insurance that car rental companies charge. We also liked their travel luggage and decided to buy it there.

Positive experience: I stopped in to get travel by car information, as I am driving to Florida for the holiday. My plans are to stop in Savanna, GA on the way. I was looking for information/brochures about Savanna and was told that they don't have any, just the tour book and maps. While I very much appreciate the maps and tour book, I wish more brochures to popular destinations were available. I would also like to see more agents available on a walk-in basis. They always seemed to be booked up and not have any time available for walk-ins. My schedule is very busy and I never really know in advance when I might be able to stop in.
Positive experience: was kind of cool not going through all paperwork like before......self serve is great...picked out about 10 maps for my coast to coast trip...handed over my card...that was it..no filling out forms...just sign and go...KEEP IT UP
Positive experience: I was lied to on the phone about the status of my membership. In fact it had not expired. But I went ahead and renewed 3 months early -- after all I've only been a member for about 60 years. The staff was "functionally courteous."
Fantastic experience: Someone met me right inside the door and directed me to the self-serve maps and tour books where the information was easy to find. Immediately an agent offered to check my card and items. I was out in no time.
Fantastic experience: I have had several recent opportunities to visit the Canton AAA office. It is very attractive and very welcoming. The maps and books are out for browsing and self-service. The planners and staff are all very friendly and polite. It is a pleasure to go there.
Positive experience: The new facility at the Strip is very nice. I miss the old location because it was convenient to my work. The staff was very attentive and my trip was quick and easy. Parking is a bit awkward just because of the busy adjacent businesses.
Fantastic experience: Everyone is always so helpful and polite at the Canton Strip Ave location of AAA. I am always so pleasantly surprised how easy the employees handle my requests. This past visit, I asked for a TripTik and also prepaid my 2015 renewal invoice. We travel in a motorhome at times and the maps and advice I receive from the AAA office add confidence to our travels. We now have the Premier RV AAA service and are pleased with the coverages offered. I received my AAA membership as a gift in 1985. We provide a gift membership for our parents now as well. When we travel now, we frequently stop at other AAA offices and have received valuable information about local attractions...such as Greenville, SC and Tucson, AZ and Leesville, FL. Thank you for your continued good service. Whenever I have used the repair service in the past (it has been awhile since I have needed it), I have been impressed with the prompt and courteous service received.
