Negative experience: SHE IS WAY PAST HER PRIME. This is a Woman who is over 80 years old and is completely set in her ways, and if you point out what she is not doing right, she will push back and think you're intentionally insulting her. She has too much pride. "I've been in this business for 50 years!" Look-- If you're going to purchase tickets from her-- make sure you go there and do it in Person. And stay on and watch and make sure she does everything correct. If you're there in person watching over her and the people who come and work there-- They will feel obligated to do everything correct. If you make a request by phone, or send a request through WhatsApp, and then later call back and trust that everything will be OK, --- You couldn't be more wrong! She misspells names, doesn't put the necessary requests on the reservation, doesn't make the extra purchases. So if you live out of town, I would not bother. She pays more attention to radio conversations than what the people who are calling her are asking. If you live in town, and you actually do have the time to come to the office and watch and make sure she and her staff do the job right, you might have a 50% chance of getting the result you want, with the accuracy that you need. As for the people who give 4 start or 5 start reviews go--- they're just shells! There is nothing sincere about their review. And yes, she can be very very careless and negligent. This is my honest take! If you're not watching over her to make sure she doesn't her work right, you will get defective product which won't serve you.
Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience purchasing an airline ticket through Shahrzad Travel Agency in Los Angeles. Their handling of my case showed a complete disregard for basic business ethics, honesty, and customer service. I was repeatedly given false information and faced constant changes to their statements without any accountability. The owner, Mrs. Shahrzad, is directly responsible for the way this business operates, and in my experience, her conduct was deceitful, unethical, and unprofessional — unlike anything I have ever encountered with any other travel agent. Because of travel restrictions to Iran, I had to cancel my flight, and she charged me a $750 cancellation fee. When I contacted Emirates Airlines directly, I was informed that based on my ticket class, no cancellation fee should have been applied. It is disheartening to see a business that should be serving the Persian community instead creating mistrust. This was my first and will certainly be my last experience with such a dishonest and disorganized agency. من تجربهای بسیار ناامیدکننده در خرید بلیط هواپیما از آژانس مسافرتی شهرزاد در لسآنجلس داشتم. نحوهی رسیدگی آنها به پروندهی من نشاندهندهی بیتوجهی کامل به اصول اولیهی اخلاق کسبوکار، صداقت و خدمات مشتری بود. بارها اطلاعات نادرست به من دادند و مرتب گفتههای خود را بدون هیچگونه مسئولیتی تغییر میدادند. خانم شهرزاد، صاحب این آژانس، شخصاً مسئول نحوهی عملکرد آن است و در تجربهی من رفتار ایشان فریبکارانه، غیراخلاقی و غیرحرفهای بود؛ چیزی که هرگز در هیچ آژانس مسافرتی دیگری با آن روبهرو نشده بودم. به دلیل محدودیتهای سفر به ایران مجبور شدم پروازم را لغو کنم و ایشان مبلغ ۷۵۰ دلار بهعنوان جریمهی لغو از من دریافت کردند. زمانی که موضوع را مستقیماً با خطوط هوایی امارات در میان گذاشتم، پاسخ آنها این بود که بر اساس کلاس بلیط من، هیچ هزینهای بابت لغو نباید دریافت میشد. مایه تأسف است که کسبوکاری که باید در خدمت جامعه ایرانی باشد، برعکس موجب بیاعتمادی میشود. این نخستین و قطعاً آخرین تجربه من با چنین آژانس بینظم و بیصداقتی خواهد بود.
Negative experience: Horrible experience, I don’t usually write a bad review. However , experience I had with shahrzad travel agency was awful especially Shahrzad her self. They take your money and dont take any responsibility if there is an issues with your flight. And on top of that she would make snide remarks, such as “Lulu nakhordet”. Very unprofessional , I wish I can give you zero star.

Negative experience: Extremely Disappointed – Negligence and Lack of Accountability I had a terrible experience with this travel agency. They failed to issue my return ticket from Turkey to Los Angeles, leaving me stranded at the airport. Despite having paid in full and receiving a confirmed itinerary, there was no actual ticket issued for my return flight. I had to purchase a last-minute ticket for over $800 out of my own pocket to get home. I contacted the agency immediately upon my return, and they promised a reimbursement. However, despite multiple follow-ups, I have received no refund and no further communication. This level of negligence and lack of accountability is unacceptable. I strongly advise others to avoid this agency to prevent similar distressing experiences.
Negative experience: I had a very unpleasant experience with Shahrzad Travel. I wish I could give them zero stars because they don’t even deserve one. My uncle ,who is 78 years old, was sold an overpriced ticket, and when he had to cancel, they deducted almost 40% of the fare. When I asked for a breakdown of the charges, the agent hung up on both me and my uncle—multiple times. Extremely rude and completely unprofessional. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Negative experience: Horrible experience with this travel agency and in particular Ms.Shahrzad herself. Customer service and professionality is a none existing and she is completely out of touch with booking system, Air fairs and voucher regulations. We were charged $200 for an Air Fair voucher to be used at the airport for extra Luggage piece which turned out to be not honored by the Airline at all ! when we tried to get a reimbursement , she denied the charges and referred us to the Airline. (Process still pending after 10 days )I believe as a travel agency ,the company is responsible for the information and booking procedure from A-Z as they earn commission on every ticket and services offered. A fact that this particular agency is obviously unaware of.

Negative experience: I have a feeling my review last year was deleted. Giving one star to this agency is just a pity. They don't deserve one at all. The agent started pleasant and sweet. Later on, she got shady and made up a new policy every time to extort VICTIMS financially. If you would ask a question or any inquiry, she would snap and yell at you. I got a better deal with ORBITZ. Thankfully, my bank was able to work with the airlines. I got my money back. My only suggestion for future victims, RUN!!!!!
Negative experience: Very poor customer service. The owner is pushing for her way and she complains about not having enough support and employees to help. They don't have time to find you the best deal and with the very first thing that pops up online they booked an expensive and overpriced non refundable ticket. I could have done a better service myself with a better deal and better seats. I will never book with them again. I mean they are not updated with the current customer service and not tech savvy.

Negative experience: Bad attitude, horrible customer service and extremely rude to her employees. Ms. Shahrzad needs to take a seat and think really hard about how she could manage her business better. There’s a reason why her rating is low. I’ve been yelled at by her because she couldn’t juggle phone calls, customer complaints, and her business at the same time. I’ve heard other customers get yelled at while I was on hold. At one point she mentioned how she has a lot on her plate since her employees quit.
Negative experience: A nightmare! The worst travel experience I have ever had! This lady changed our tickets without giving any notice! We went to the airport to fly back to the US and go to work the next day, only to find out that we had no seats on that plane! We had to stay two more days and wait for the next flight! This was a few years ago. Bad Bad Agency!

Negative experience: very disappointing service please stay away from this agency, we trusted on them and reserved a family trip (including 3 kids) for Costa Rica, but from the very first entrance to the hotel at late night our problems began, the hotel was not the one we were promised considering having little kids, we booked for two rooms with connecting doors but Hotel manager said they don't have such a thing so we had to stay all in 1 room and the following day we had to go and find another hotel by ourselves, negotiating with the current hotel and the new one to change the hotels (all were done by my wife) caused us a lot of wasting our family time to fix this issue!!! when we came back to US I called Sahahrzad but she was acting like nothing important has happened however promised to call us back for refund , still after passing 4 months there is nothing refunded more importantly whenever I'm calling for follow up no one is answering correctly .

Negative experience: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR TRAVEL SEVICES! They just get paid and don’t service their clients. My mom got COVID and couldn’t get on the flight. It’s been 2 days we’re trying to reschedule for her flight to be delayed for 2 weeks! They took the money to reschedule us for another flight day. But never booked anything for my mom! WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE, THEY ALSO HAVE A LOT OF EXCUSES ON NOT GETTING THINGS DONE BECAUSE THEY’RE “short staff” I would never use this company for any traveling purposes AGAIN! You’re better off booking it yourself. Cause they will charge you but not service you!

Great job Shahrzad Khanoom, very nice of you! It’s America not chaaleh meydoon! So cheap, no respect for yourself and your business nor for a client! You are in a wrong business, for God’s Sake Turkish airline accepted the full refund due to all the Covid documentation but she is not returning my money. She charges for 3 luggages but advertises for 3 free luggages. She won’t take any responsibility and liability for nothing but lives to eat your money for no service, I’m so sorry for you. I’m disgusted for even spending time talking to you on the phone and working with you! Fellow Iranian people, to protect yourself and your money stay away from her and agency, such a low low low low class woman.

Negative experience: I dealt with this travel agency for the first time, and it certainly will be my last! The people working there have absolutely no understanding of professionalism. They think they are living in Iran and doing business the same way is done there. They purchased my ticket from Turkish Airline which charges $25 as cancellation fee, but they charged me $155. Outrageous! If you want to do business with this agency, think again!

Positive experience: Please make sure you do not charge any penalty due to my cancellation in less than 24 hours of payment. I am cancelling due to high temperature at destination. Shahrzad Travel agency asks me not to block my credit card and promise would fully refund in like two weeks. I am expecting your agency accept my request without any hesitation for full refund especially when I cancelled during the first 24 hours. I keep the right to change my current score in case not refunding in full.

I traveled with this group on 4 July to Lake Tahoe and Reno & Virginia City .... it was not 100 percent perfect BUT they did their best to serve every one equally .Their transportation was good too , they picked up from different locations so I did not need to travel to another location to take the bus , besides i can not expect the tour operator to give me 5 star service for little money i paid and good to know that they explain me well about tour & programs as well as hotel before departure so I was fully aware the total service i am gonna get . I always recommend this agency . and of course i can not keep my expectation level so high and pay very less .surly , If i want 5 star service i must pay 5 star cash . I can not pay economy class ticket and fly with business class. its just impossible . i will wait for their another tour in future. LuckyLook
Negative experience: We took this tour to Lake Tahoe from OC on 4th of July 16. One of the WORST experiences of my life. The first lie was about the age of the crowd. We were told that there are mix of different ages in the buses. The reality was it was like going out what a nursing home. The avg age of the crowd was probably 75 yrs old. The 2nd problem was coordination with the hotel staff. We were suppose to receive complimentary breakfast, but the hotel did not expect our crowd and did not have enough bread for the crowd. Music played or performed in the buses was good, the performer had an amazing voice, but the selection was from 100 yrs ago.. Mahasti. Sattar etc. A 7 hour trip took us 12 hours because they were picking up people from different locations : OC, LA, Bakers Field. They stopped at each site for a "bathroom break" , but yet pocking up passengers. They ended up picking up too many people with more than the capacity of the buses and so new passengers were sitting in others people sits when they were using the bathroom .. fighting .. horrible situation We were told each room can fit three people; they made us pay extra for an additional room. When we get there we found that 4 person can easily fit in each room. I ended up being charged for the "extra room". Which could not be refunded. You might enjoy this tour if you are a senior citizen and if you dont care about organization. Otherwise, dont waste ur time and money ! I truly do not recommend it

Very honest and will give you options based on your budget. I highly recommend picking up the phone and calling them for all your travel arrangements.
Negative experience: They charged my parents and booked them a supposed flight and hotel, however when my parents got to the hotel there was no booking. This made them have to go through a lot of trouble and pay premium prices at the airport and hotel, so that they can still go on their trip with their friends. DO NOT USE THIS AGENCY THEY ARE A SCAM AND UNORGANIZED. The number on google goes directly to a personal cell phone....VERY UNPROFESSIONAL
Fantastic experience: I decided to back Iran and I found this travel agency accidentally in west-wood. The staffs were absolutely polite and helpful. They spend many time to find the best time and cheapest and a good airline for my trip. I strongly recommend to choose this agency for buying airline tickets.
Negative experience: SCAM Artist, Dishonest, Lier. Had to go Tehran to Father's funeral, desperate for ticket, also contacted Shahrzad, she act like she cared and even gave me the price ($1350) and stole my trust, she told me she will call in about 2 hours with my confirmation #. in the mean time I tried to chk my alternative options, got several options, because I called her first I wanted give her the business first, from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM she played time game with me (I am trying to get your confirmation # game) to stall my time and increase the price, around 1:00 PM I realized her Game and took one of other options which I had but didn't tell her (just to proof my suspension to her), around 5:30 PM after several phone calls to her she told me that ticket price will be $2850 instead $1350, I told her the story and she got mad and verbally abusive, in spite me asking her not to call me again, but she called 3 more times begging to sell me a ticket, which I already purchased from somebody else for almost 1/2 her price. She (SHAHRZAD / Sherry) is a ‘REAL SCAM ARTIST’ be aware.
