Negative experience: Call elsewhere, save the hassle. Canceled in June, but was not removed off of auto enroll and when September came around, surprise, they ripped a month of insurance and then some out. I immediately canceled, requested a refund and waited 2.5 weeks. Last week, I stopped by an office trying to figure out where my money was because I have a bill budget and yall ain't in it. They said it was in the pipeline and should be in my account/original payment method by next month. Ridiculous. Anyways I specified on the phone, and then again at that office that it MUST be credited back and not a physical check as I have since moved. They confirmed. Lied to my face. A paper check showed up at my old address and I was lucky enough to recover it. I am appalled by AAA horrible customer service. Automated phones, and blatant thievery and lying. I hate to post a review here but AAA is so compartmentalized and difficult to work with its all I've got. PS by the way I NEVER received an e-statement, bill by mail, and I ALWAYS had to ask for updated proof of insurance. I despise this insurance company, and no, an automated reply to my review giving me a 1-800 number is a middle finger. You have no respect for your customers, and I'll gladly reflect that. Go under. (Also overpriced) call elsewhere, save the hassle.

Negative experience: I say that the claims dept for when something happens is great but this office is not,Chris who is in charge acts like he wants to help but is hard to get a hold of if you gave a problem,and if you end up being made the NASTY WORD "HOUSE ACOUNT" well it's even worse because then you don't have an agent,my agent didn't even let me know she was not my agent anymore and I and my parents were made house accounts which again gets you nowhere because they act like your inconveniencing them when you call with an issue.

Fantastic experience: I recently obtained my International Driving Permit through this AAA office, and the experience was exceptional. Kristin handled my application with remarkable speed and efficiency. When I called to confirm that I had submitted everything correctly, she informed me that my IDP was already on its way back to me. Amazingly, it arrived in the mail that same afternoon. Kristin was incredibly helpful and kind, and just great to deal with. Highly recommend this office for outstanding service!

Negative experience: I have not had a good experience with the Lee's Summit Triple A office. My previous agent in KS retired and I stopped in the LS office to inquire about getting a new agent here since I moved here a couple of years ago. I was told they don't assign agents anymore. Don't like that. I called a week or so ago to get a quote about getting rental car insurance and to ask what my son's insurance would cost if he was on his own policy. I was sent to an agent's voicemail, so I left a message and no one ever called me back. I again called and the same thing happened. Today, I got an agent and she helped me with the rental car insurance and said she would call me back in an hour or so with a quote for my son. She never called back. So frustrating. I got much better service when I had an assigned agent. Please go back to that business model. The agents don't have any ownership now.

Negative experience: AAA does not value its Customers! They don't care about the longevity of customers. It doesn't matter if you have been with them for one month or 9 years they'll treat you like you've been with them for one day! They don't want the business of average people! They do not know what they are selling. As they cannot explain their policies. This is a big company and they only deal with big business! Buyer BEWARE DON'T BUNDLE!! And you can count on them to down ⬇️at the very end!

Negative experience: Was hit by one of their customers a month ago, STILL HAVEN’T HEARD BACK FROM THEIR CLAIMS ADJUSTER. She was supposed to contact our agent and hasn’t. If you get roadside through, well, literally any other company, just save yourself the headache and use someone besides AAA.

Negative experience: In California Rowing a Gondola my picture and a full page article appeared in AAA Travel magazine. Millions of people get that and thumb through it looking at pictures. I came to AAA and brought my proud mother with me. But yesterday May 22 2023 AAAdroped my mom for 1 ( in 3 years ) broken tail light. They also raised my premium without warning me because after 2 months they dug up an inquiry I had when someone opened their door and dinged my door, but did not file a claim. AAA found a way to charge me for that.

Fantastic experience: Today I went to AAA because I needed an International Drivers License and some passport photos for my upcoming trip. I cannot speak more highly for my experience with Kristin Pritchard working at the front counter area. She was so helpful, friendly, and efficient! Keep up the EXCELLENT work Kristin!

Fantastic experience: Wonderful customer service! We took our three kids in to get their passport photos done and Kristin was so patient and helpful getting a 4 year old to sit and get a great photo. Great experience.

Negative experience: “There’s nothing I can do.” “That’s not my job.” These are a couple lines I thought I’d never hear when doing business with a company. But I heard those words today. I was quoted for insurance for 2 vehicles at $130 per month. When my first bill came it was $205. So of course I called my Agent Devin well before the due date explained the issue and he said “I agree this isn’t what we discussed.” I asked ok so how do we rectify this situation? I got the run around before he finally said there was nothing he could do. I don’t understand that because you’re literally the one who sold the policy. I get his manager Clint Hill on the phone at this point I’m pretty heated I get calmed down he says the same thing “there’s nothing I can do either, I know this is 100% our fault but there’s nothing we can do.” I had to demand a contact number for a higher up. Clint gave me that contact info and said he would make some calls and see what they could do and he’d get back with me. Here we are June 16th and they hadn’t called back my bill is now past due. I call in today to the AAA customer service line and explain to the rep the situation again. She said she would get Devin on the line which she did but she disconnected from the call. So now it was back to square one. I basically repeated the cycle on the phone with Devin “I can’t do anything” I get transferred to his manager Clint Hill once again he said he “can’t do anything about it either.” I asked Clint if he had passed this issue along to any of his higher ups because you know it’s been well over 2 weeks? This is when he replied “that isn’t my job to do that.” Just God awful customer service from top to bottom. I’d literally recommend the General’s Insurance before AAA. But if you do happen to go the AAA route proceed with caution because Devin told me this isn’t the first time this has happened. You’d think they’d have something in place to help fix the issue of charging someone an extra $75 a month by now but they don’t. Hopefully you find this helpful.

Negative experience: Terrible ! Book disney didnt tell me I had to reserve parks for each day. Co worker did or I would got here and not been able to get in. Wasn't told they wernt doing fire works one night att EPCOT but they said it was published in advance agent should have informed me. Didnt get parks wanted as did get reserved early as I wasnt told this. I only signed up for AAA for travel part I really dont feel I save a dime total waste of time call disney direct book your on my advice 1 407 w disney. Terribly dint recomened.

Negative experience: Worst insurance company ever standard operating practice for this dump insurance is to deny all claims if you happen to be struck by an uninsured motorist. I paid all my bills and did what I was supposed to do supposed to and they spent tens of thousands of dollars to fight against me who was a 100% and the right to keep from paying money out. Look all over the Internet about this dumb insurance company and you will see this is exactly what I do to everybody.

Negative experience: Did not pay on tow of Mercedes Sprinter tow .... Said don't pay on this type of vehicle. WHAT?? They knew it was a 350 cargo van and I paid the AAA and AAA insurance every month. It was a lot of miles and $$ but I expected them to pay some of the bill. They did not!!

Negative experience: I was referred by a lending agent while buying my home for homeowners insurance. I was lured in with a low, bundled auto rate but my bill was increased by more than $50 after the first billing cycle. I was told that someone discovered a traffic ticket after I signed the policy and there was nothing they could do. In addition to just being a slimy tactic in general it sounded to me like a loss they should just take if they made some sort of clerical mistake. Would not recommend. Update: I also received a notice for a homeowners insurance bill threatening cancellation, which is supposed to be paid from escrow. I called to see what the issue was and I was told "a different underwriter took over for your home and added an additional 60k to your rebuild cost and there's nothing I can do about it." L.O.L. Reporting to the better business bureau and cancelling both policies. Don't waste your time with AAA.

Fantastic experience: I had the most pleasant experience at the Triple A location on Murray Road in Lee's Summit, Missouri. I recently began planning a very big trip for my family. I visited the Triple A location and made an appointment with Ashley Starr, a travel agent. She was super helpful and very patient with me taking lots of time to investigate different options for me and answering all of my many questions. She worked with me until we found the most perfect trip package for my family and I so appreciated not only her expertise but her patience and friendly demeanor as well. I highly recommend Ashley Starr and the Triple A Travel Service for travel advice and planning. It was easy and she was so great to give me advice and look up various options and excursions. She worked so hard on my package and I know she would do that for each of her clients. Kudos to Ashley Starr and Triple A Travel Service!
