Negative experience: Did Greyhound bus station close?? There is nothing here anymore. Where did the Greyhound bus station move to? I went on their website but it says nothing about its location on 7th st and Alameda being closed or where the Greyhound bus station moved to. Is this how they treat their customers? Amazing! How their service has gone down hill.. Very disappointing!!!
Negative experience: Bought two tickets for my trip to San Ysidro and when I got there the entire place was closed.. I had to find another bus station nearby. I don’t know why they didn’t warn people that the station was closed so we wouldn’t waste our money.. I want my refund

Negative experience: I bought my Greyhound ticket to go from Los Angeles, CA to Tijuana, MX at 12:30am (Schedule GLI 6403). Per instructions on the ticket, I checked in online 2 hours prior to boarding and got a boarding pass (unaware that the bus ride from LA to Tijuana was cancelled by Greyhound). Per instructions on my ticket, when I took a Lyft and showed up to the bus stop at 1716 E 7Th St Los Angeles, CA 90021 before 11:45, the station was closed. Called Greyhound customer service and was told to go to 800 N Alameda St by a very rude lady with a horrible attitude (still was not aware that the bus ride was cancelled, which she could have told me). Took another Lyft to 800 N Alameda St address before midnight and waited for half an hour for the bus to show at scheduled time of 12:30am. When the bus didn't show, called Greyhound customer service and finally got the news from a rep that the bus ride was cancelled. I'm still confused as to why the online check-in was allowed 2 hours prior to the ride and a boarding pass was issued for a bus ride that had been cancelled by Greyhound in the first place. I would have at least saved time and money on Lyft following a non-existent bus if I was told about the cancellation ahead of time. Because of the cancelled bus ride, I missed my subsequent flight (which was a non-transferable & non-refundable ticket) from Tijuana to my ultimate destination of Mexico City. When I asked the second Greyhound customer service rep for a refund for at least the cancelled bus ride, I was offered the next bus that would leave 6 hours later and would arrive at my original destination of Tijuana 3 hours AFTER my flight to Mexico City would have left! For this trip, I had also bought my non-refundable return ticket from Greyhound that I cannot use because I physically am unable to be there due to the cancellation of the first ride, which had cascaded into missing all the subsequent flights and bus trips I had scheduled while in Mexico City. A dream vacation for a budget traveler with months of planning and hundreds of dollars spent in travel and accommodations expenses were completely gone because of Greyhound cancelling a bus without any notice. Needless to say, I am incredibly disappointed in Greyhound. Never again.

Negative experience: Just fly... If you have any other option take it. Walk.. Anything else. Not even greyhound buses anymore. Something called Flix. Green temsa bus. On it now unfortunately. Driver does not do rest areas or any type of stops for food or water. 10 hour bus ride only a 4 hour trip because we're going way out of or way to the Mexican boarder first. Negative experience: I’ve taken the greyhound plenty of times with no issues until today. I had gotten to the station about half an hour before they were supposed to start boarding my bus, or so I thought. Apparently they didn’t have a bus at the time I was supposed to leave and neither the security or a worker who I had asked twice told me that bus doesn’t run or wasn’t running at the time. Luckily they gave me the choice of a refund or to take the bus the next day at no extra charge so I’m taking the bus tomorrow. It just seems irresponsible to cancel a bus the day of, let alone have people purchase a ticket for a bus that isn’t even going to be there in the first place.
Negative experience: This place is run down with homeless and lots of druggies taking showers in the dirty bathrooms. Lots of people there just ranting and talking to themselves while high as a kite. Tons of security walking around but does not really do much. It’s as if the homeless all get free bus passes and sent off to a new city through greyhound.
Negative experience: Calificación a la instalacion de Greyhound Los angeles. Terminal deplorable. No hay personal por lo cual no sabes nada de la salida de tu autobús. Los baños un asco, la cafetería deficiente y cara. Del camión no estaba tan mal y el chofer muy agradable. Pero cualquier linea de autobus en México le pega una arrastrada a Greyhound.
Negative experience: They have a total monopoly with no accountability the bus won't come and all you'll get is a nice f you! The worst bus company in my 30 years of travel, go to Mexico they do it better! Your honestly better off hitchhiking its way more reliable and friendly!
Negative experience: Vaya inútiles los empleados, perdí mi iPhone y intenté decirles que si podían buscarlo pero lo único que decían es que me formara para mi bus, intenté decirles pero todos me ignoraban o me decían que me formara también perdí una bolsa negra porque un empleado la puso en otro bus y no se molestan en buscarla.

Negative experience: Bathrooms were god awful and some staff are rude! But what do you expect from Los Angeles?
Negative experience: Un desastre el servicio. Muy impuntuales. Los buses se rompen, hay cinturones de seguridad que no funcionan, los asientos se deslizan y los de atencion al cliente son unos inútiles. Me hicieron perder muchísimo dinero y tiempo. Me arruinaron las vacaciones. La verdad que me esperaba un mejor servicio en el país potencia mundial. Al final tenemos mejor transporte en el tercer mundo. ¡INUTILES!
Fantastic experience: Bus fare okay
Negative experience: Mi abuelita Iva calexico a LA y el bus la dejó en Indio CA, el bus se fue con sus pertenencias (medicinas) en el. Llamamos a grayhound para pedir que cuiden su medicina y no nos ayudaron. Dejaron un pasajero a medio camino y no les importó la peor empresa de autobuses. No les importan los pasajeron.
Negative experience: DON'T CHOOSE THIS COMPANY J'ai réservé un aller-retour San Francisco-Los Angeles et j'ai eu le droit à 3h de retard à l'aller (sans avertissement ni d'excuse) et 4h de retard au retour, c'est à dire que j'ai attendu le bus jusqu'à 3:30 am !!! Negative experience: This location asked me to comply on a mask mandate that security personnel and staff were not complying themselves. All staff and security are very dismissive, and security extra unprofessional. If you don't have the passion or patience to deal with people, please look for another job is the advice i will give to all Greyhound personnel. Good luck to everybody at this station. Please provide feedback to Greyhound, and hopefully things change for the better for everyone.
Negative experience: I paid for a trip from Utah to Tijuana. I was left in Las Vegas for hours since there were no buses. I finally got one to go to Los Angeles, & was told there were going to be absolutely no buses going to Tijuana. I was left stranded until someone kind to take me over. I will never use Greyhound for any trips ever again.

Positive experience: Before the Covid began, I had a great experience with Greyhound, it was the HOTEL, who I had a problem with! But because of Covid, I dk if I want to go back there again, and now I dk if I’m ever going to be able to go back again, ever again, due to me being terminal with a severe jaw infection, that I’ve had, for over 3 years now, as well as my declining health issues. It would be great to go back there, but from seeing the reviews, and being stranded myself over there, a while ago, now I’m not so sure I want to go back. It would be great, but…hmmm ??!!
Negative experience: Definitely the worst bus company that I know. The station in LA sucks too. I do not recommend that people travel with this company. Busses are never on time. I’m stuck here and I do not know when I am going to leave.

Negative experience: Si pudiera no doy ninguna Estrella, el bus tenia que salir a las 7pm, vino saliendo a las 11pm, y a demas no los dejo a donde deveria, los dejo, un lugar de 45 minutes de donde vivo cuando hay dos paradas en mi area, de regreso tenia que salir 6am y no avisaro no comunicaron que Avia un retraso de 3-4 horas, eso es terrible, te puedo entender si es minutos pero no horas. Y lo peor que tuvomos que very pagado extra dinero a Uber Para poder llegar a mi destino,.. Y por supuesto que no me salieron que no me pueden reenbolsar mi dinero, que porque hay una forma de que te explcan el porque.

Negative experience: Califico a sus instalaciones están extremadamente sucias, el baño es un horror, mi viaje salio en la noche, parecía como si durante el día no hubiesen hecho limpieza, me imagino que por ser terminal debe de tener mucho movimiento, quizás falte personal de limpieza, o de plano controlar el acceso. En la venta de tickets solo una persona, se junto la fila de 12 personas, muy lento. Había una máquina para comprarlos digital, pero no aceptaba Cash ni maletas a bordo. Por fuera esta muy solo y se juntan personas que no viajan, solo están fumando.

Negative experience: Delayed bus for over two hours from LA to San Ysidro
Negative experience: Been stranded in this place surrounded by homeless people sleeping in the seats. Why because they don't have a driver for their 12:30 bus to Vegas which they told everyone at the time the bus was scheduled to leave. Then we were told they may not have a driver until tomorrow sometime. Please find another way to travel All Greyhound Care about is your money.
Negative experience: They cancelled my 3:30 pm bus from Bakersfield to Los Angeles and made me wait at the station in Bakersfield for about 6 hours, with nowhere to store my luggage securely so I didn’t have to lug it around with me to leave the station and get food. I’m now stuck at the station in downtown Los Angeles from 10 pm to 6 am (at least). No food. No compensation. No hotel room. Just “Hey… we’re sorry, but you’re spending the night in our lobby. Hard seats, constant noise. Enjoy!” I will NEVER give Greyhound another penny, and neither should anyone else. Ever.

Fantastic experience: No puedo decir mucho de las terminales ya que es mi primera vez viajando de Los Angeles a Phoenix y llegue corriendo el bus estaba saliendo del parking tuve que arriesgarme frente al chofer y pararlo eso estuvo muuuy mal lo que hice pero aún por encima de las llamadas de atención que me dieron los de seguridad y el chofer.... aún así me admitió y permitieron que abordara el bus. Realmente pudieron haberme rechazado le doy gracias al chofer pues fue muy humano de su parte entender mi situación y falta de inconsciencia la mía En el viaje el chofer siempre estaba muy atento a que qué todo estuviera en orden, fue muy Cortez y amable con todos los que abordamos el bus. Fantastic experience: Pues. Yo. Viajo mucho y. Pues. La salida de. Los angeles para calexico es de 10.20 am a 4.20 pm sy. Lo. Quieres agarrar. Barato laa salidas comprenlo dos semanas anticipadas. Para q. Lo. Puedan agarrar de 35 dlls a 38dlls lo. Más. Barato.

Negative experience: Took a trip from El Cajon to Pheonix. Outgoing was OKAY. Return trip three weeks later. Got to the station an hour early before scheduled arrival of the bus. An hour passes. Bus aint here. More people piling in at the station. Another hour (at this point, other buses I needed to catch were now going to leave without me). Bus isnt here. Only one person working the desk and they say something but weren't clear and yet another 2 and a half hours pass. The call finally comes out that it is time to board. Joy, I thought. Odour, is the first thing I notice. Standard to all grayhounds I assume. People clap as the bus finally leaves. Packaging and luggage got on with little hiccups. The ride is miserable. Its dark, the seats in front of me lack a charger, however I lucked out and had a power bar on hand, was able to steal a socket from the person in front of me. More miserable bumpy riding. Cramped. The seats hurt and my large rear is resting atop the buckle. Manage to get a few winks of sleep. Wake up dreary and in pain, neck is killing me. Looking around, all is silent. More hours pass as light begins to creep into the surroundings (the trip was supposed to be from 11 pm to 1 pm the next day). Turn around to a commotion. A toddler begins violently dumping the contents of their bowels onto the floor two rows behind. The smell is unbearable and my eyes water. I manage to find comfory in thought of "Only a few hours left..".. Get to the station. Avoid the tainted flooring behind me when retrieving my baggage. Leave. I missed my other busses and was pressed to resort to other methods to get myself home due to the absence/miscalculation of the bus driver originally. Never doing this again.
Negative experience: La zona donde está ubicado es muy sola y oscura. El sitio no es muy agradable pero si cuenta con un espacio para esperar la salida del bus y vigilancia privada que trata de mantener el lugar seguro. No lleguen con mucho tiempo de anticipación y en lo posible comer antes porque el servicio de cafetería es limitado
Negative experience: Comenzando por la apariencia de la terminal es terrible, huele feo, está sucio y descuidado, los baños no los mantienes limpios y hay orines en todas partes. No les importa el servicio a cliente, te tratan como si fueras un tonto y no respetan tus horarios. He estado ahí varias veces y una vez me toco esperar 8 horas por que no respetaron mi asiento y me dijeron que ya estaba lleno el autobús cuando ya había pagado mi lugar así que me hicieron esperar.
Negative experience: Que puedo decir de este lugar… lo eh usado tantas veces y eh vivido tantas experiencias aquí que lo conozco en términos generales bien. Podemos empezar por su propósito general que es transportar gente que un 50% de las veces fallan, realmente no se puede confiar en la compañía si necesitas estar en algún lugar a cierta hora, como el aeropuerto por ejemplo. Por otro lado sus múltiples instalaciones a lo largo del país lucen bastante mal, olvidadas, sucias, viejas, y el olor en algunas de ellas no se puede soportar. En resumen como empresa tienen que mejorar bastante pero hasta la fecha parece que todo va ha seguir igual.
Positive experience: It was a good experience for me. I was able to get on a earlier bus than I booked. The vending machines are way over priced. But the food market located inside the station had reasonable prices. The restroom could have been a little cleaner. Overall it was a good experience!

Negative experience: My bus was late at the san Ysidro border for about 3 hours, i actually thought no one was going to ever show up, the bus finally pulled up and packed everyone onto the bus. The bus had no ventilation and was extremely hot. It then came to the downtown Los Angeles bus station only for them to tell me “bus was delayed for 2 hours.” I am a teenager in downtown los angeles with no other way of transportation. I was stuck there and didn’t arrive home until 3 hours later. My first and last time ever using this bus line, you can take others which are better.

Negative experience: My transfer bus got cancelled after waiting in line for 40min (30min late of departure time). This left me stuck in a bad part of LA at 1am with only the option to wait until 6:30am to head home or 9:30am for next bus to my destination which was the time I was supposed to be at that destination(10 hour trip). I missed my event. First and last time using greyhound!!
Negative experience: Purchased bus ticket, was waiting in the queued. And then (when there were 50% more people), bus become overcrowded and staff told that next bus will be in 8 hours. And they are more then x2 comparing to FlixBus…
Negative experience: Bad customer service… almost missed our bus because of the lack of employees. We bought our tickets online and got to the terminal 45 mins early. We walked into the station and there was NOBODY at the front desk to check our bags. We were first in line for the bus but when it was time for the bus to leave the driver made us go back to the counter to check in our bags. We had to wait for someone to show up at the counter to check in our extra bags and We ran to catch the bus before it left. How do workers leave their post when customers need help???!!Almost made us miss our trip because of that smh.

Positive experience: Your time to depart is almost never on time, during the day is the worst time to travel . I came from san ysidro to Bakersfield and the bus we transferred in L.A didn't have AC, nor wifi, it felt like s sauna an the bus was packed, then it broke down in gormen, we pulled side of the road and waited for hours to get picked up by replacement bus,they said they would comp our next bus ride, they lied. I started going between 2am-445am less traffic less people on bus and you get there on time or 25 min earlier....

Negative experience: Estoy en la estación y el autobús va 2 horas atrasado, creo que perderé mi vuelo ya que viajo a Tijuana. Si quieren ahorrar dinero, esta no es buena opción. La próxima vez saldré de LAX para no tener que ir a Tijuana. Venden comida pero un sandwich sencillo cuesta arriba de $6dls
