Fantastic experience: Great service. We needed to get some British Pounds for an upcoming trip to the UK. Its been many years since I've needed to get currency and had questions about what may have changed. The helpful staff made the process extremely easy for me. It turns out AAA has just started doing currency exchanges again so it was new for the staff. They were pros and everything happened smoothly and quickly.

Fantastic experience: Went in to get my International Drivers Permit and was helped by Miranda. She's very kind and easy to talk to and was out of there within 15 minutes. Straight forward and all you need here is a license and they take your passport picture here on the spot.

Fantastic experience: Great insurance policies and clean facility.

Negative experience: We signed up for roadside service and after three calls(one of them was for them to simply jump a battery) the won’t come help my any more. There’s a limit? So I’m paying a bunch of money each month for a service I can’t use? Absolutely ridiculous. Such tricksters!

Negative experience: They were not very attentive to my travel needs. Ended up booking our Jamaica trip through Costco Travel. Got a better deal with Club Mobay included at no additional cost.

Negative experience: Do not trust AAA they are not reliable Biggest joke we called at 9:10 pm they told us they would be here in 45 mins and haven’t seen and one can not get a hold of the to tow truck company or any updates of where they are and it’s 11:51.they keep transferring us and are no real help. We keep calling and they cannot give updates or held. We are stranded with no and we pay for this services it’s a joke

Fantastic experience: Mary S. was very nice. Quick service within 15mins we were out . Went there for international driver license, got there right at 9am lots of employees.

Negative experience: Rotten service. Three times I called to have my car towed and the driver gave an eta but never followed up or towed. City had my car towed and tripple AAA says they might reimburse me. Sloppy and not going to pay for the false sense of security.

Positive experience: What I went there for was accomplished, but unfortunately the staff member who was helping me was rather disagreeable and cross at the world. Unfriendly

Fantastic experience: Went in for an international driver's permit. Miranda helped me today and she was so very warm and kind! Quick and friendly service, I definitely recommend this AAA branch.

Negative experience: I don't know if it's just me, but I've noticed ever since Covid hit AAA has gotten sorry. From shady towing personnel showing up, to getting the run around over the phone, or even trying to just simply get through to someone on the phone. I've been a member for 4 to 5 years and have definitely recognized a difference and I'm highly disappointed that they have become like a lot of other businesses in the area where all they care about is that almighty dollar versus customer care. It shouldn't take 2 weeks or more for someone to get in contact with a human over the phone that's absurd. Due to not being able to reach a human over the phone my account was cancelled after I've shown my loyalty as a customer to feel I got booted definitely makes me feel differently towards AAA.

Fantastic experience: The staff here is phenomenal. I went to get my International Drivers Permit, even though it isn’t a long process the ladies in the office made the transaction so smooth. I was out in minutes.

Fantastic experience: Quick efficient service. The sauce were very accommodating and were very eager to assist us in any way they could. They were patients and explained several different things to us that we came in to inquire about. Had to have international driver's licenses processed here, they take the passport photos that are required and it was a seamless process. I believe this is a new triple a I haven't seen it before and only learned about it when I was looking for the nearest AAA near me. 5 ⭐ for sure

Negative experience: I called the Norfolk, V.A. office to see how I could remove my mother because an agent had added her without checking to see if she was a member already or even living in the same state (Thanks AAA for “training” your employees.) I asked if I could add someone since it wouldn’t be beneficial for my mother. They said they couldn’t because it wasn’t their “fault” on what the other agent did. I asked if I could speak to someone else and I was given the number to the REGIONAl MANAGER named Leon. When I spoke to him I was told he couldn’t do anything at all and to pay extra to add someone else because that’s Corporate rules or speak to the Director of Member Services names Joni. Before he gave me her number he made the comment “I WOULD RATHER JUMP OFF THIS BUILDING BEFORE CALLING HER.” What kind of employees are you hiring AAA? It’s been 2 weeks since I left a voice mail on Joni’s phone and I still have not received a phone call.

Fantastic experience: I went to the AAA in Norfolk off of 22nd st. This is my second time using Linda Butler as my travel agent. She is awesome, she goes the extra mile to help you out. Once you let her know what type of vacation you want, she listens. She will give you multiple options to chose from & what works Best with your budget. The entire staff was very friendly & polite.

Fantastic experience: Went to pay annual membership dues, ladies at the counter worked together to get me help with resetting my password, which still doesn't work. They took my payment and ordered me new membership cards. They called Harbor Park to get information on the park. They gave me excellent customer service.

Positive experience: I like this location the best out of all the AAA locations in Hampton Roads.

Positive experience: Nice office but appeared a little understaffed when I stopped. The very pleasant and helpful woman behind the counter seemed to be the only person helping customers. There were s few other employees at desks (and plenty of empty desks) but the woman at the country appeared to be the only employee concerned with helping customers.
