Fantastic experience: Great place to get your local information! They have a lot of brochures, a Lake Murray Map, History museum and even some Lake Murray gifts, shirts, hats and more.... They are very friendly and quite helpful! Definitely worthy of stopping in:)

Fantastic experience: The staff here knows their stuff and they love what they are talking about. Touring the small museum is not to be missed. Sadly, many do not know about it. They even have an old video of the dam actually being built in the 30s! The artifacts are incredible. And be sure to look around the plantation house. Check out the burn marks on the floor by the fireplace where Sherman's troops tried to burn the house down and then when they left the family came out of hiding to extinguish the flames. Be sure to ask about Goat Island. The knowledge these ladies have is so fascinating Also, if they have any copies of Lake Murray Legend and Leisure in stock, be sure to pick it up..

Fantastic experience: What a great organization that does much for local businesses, residents and the state! Make sure to join us for largest fireworks show in South Carolina each year on the Saturday prior to July 4th (July 4th in 2020).

Positive experience: I attended the Lake Murray Christmas boat parade. It was a very pleasant experience and I loved how pretty the boats were. I also loved the fireworks show and I loved how the fireworks mostly contained the Christmas colors. It was a very nice treat and I hope that it will be brought back next year. I'm happy to be a resident of Lake Murray.☺
