Fantastic experience: Always helpful when I'm planning a trip!

Negative experience: Trying to review whichever location services Fostoria…as far as I know is this one. Recently got a plus membership which covers tows up to 100 miles. My daughter broke down in Fostoria at the hospital with my car. I live 75 miles away and could not get to the vehicle to get it back to me. Called to make a claim and was told I couldn’t get service unless I was with the vehicle. Ok. I wait two days for the weekend so I can make the trip. I speak to a serving rep at this club who tells me the trick is on its way. The tire truck sites up and tells me I will have to pony up 400 cash to get the vehicle towed. I explain that I have plus and he explains that when I upgraded I had to wait 7 days to get those services. My biggest issue here is that I spoke to two separate reps neither of which explained that to me. Had I known this I would have made the appropriate arrangements. I spoke to a rep after all this to explain that this didn’t feel right at all. He completely agreed and even said that he felt that his call center was at fault. He told me a manager named Kayla was supposed to try and work something out with the garage and would call me back and should be able to get the cost down to 265…still not exactly acceptable but it would have been something. I never got a call back. I don’t feel like I was properly informed of this 7 day policy despite speaking to two separate reps that should have been able to see that I was in this window. I’m out $400 that I don’t feel I should have had to pay. I feel like I was brushed off, misled, and forgotten about. Overall, poor customer service experience and policy that results in upset customers. Despite being absolutely irate over the situation I remained calm and didn’t cuss or behave rudely when I called to express my disappointment. Perhaps that was a mistake, I just didn’t feel like ruining someone’s day that wasn’t responsible.

Fantastic experience: I.m so glad I have AAA membersgip to get road side help for my older cars. My 1995 Honda Odyessy just had the starter replaced less than a month ago. I do most of the work myself starters are not to hard. Anyway called AAA for a tow and in 15 mins after calling D&D Tottal Repair - Towing called and showed up at Post Office to tow me. But Tow Driver Dave said let's see if we can get it started and he grabbed a piece of pipe and started tapping on my starter while I tried to start it and it started. He didn.t have to tow me...I got to drive home and replace the starter with a new one from Advanced Auto where I got this one. Thank You AAA.

Fantastic experience: I am not sure if this is where I leave a review for the roadside service, but I still wanted all to know I had an awesome experience!! The little white AAA truck came to my home and got my car started! Seth also did numerous things that I am sure are beyond the call of his job!!! I hope I always get Seth when I call or someone like him!! You are the best Seth and I thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!

Fantastic experience: Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Dark out and I needed to get back to Indiana...tire warning came on. In Indiana they only charge for air... thank you for the free pump at your facility! I didn't even need to prove I was a member!!!! Indiana needs to take lessons!!

Positive experience: AAA is always helpful for planning my trips. They have some new member number. New cards are given when visiting the office. Don't know why they didn't do a mass mailing with new cards. .

Negative experience: Visited Findlay office to purchase renewal for gift membership which I do every year. Waited untimely amount of time to be waited on. No one covered for anyone and felt like I was intruding and putting them out. Have always done business with Tiffin office which is now closed. Tiffin office was always friendly and everyone took care of the customers. What should have taken 5 minutes took half an hour. Should have closed Findlay office instead of Tiffin.

Fantastic experience: These guys are top notch! Pat is amazing, she will go above and beyond for you. I wish all businesses were run like she runs it. I have been a member all my adult life and this service is well worth it when you need it the most. Thank you again for all you do!

Negative experience: The office was clean and organized but just about everyone working there was very cold and not at all inviting. I've had AAA since 2004 and in other stores have had very friendly service. I will probably seek a different location for planning our honeymoon. They seemed put out by our being there.

Negative experience: I was in need of a paper Hancock County map. I called AAA, the lady who answered the phone said yes, they do have them for sale. I got my disabled son around, loaded him in the car and drove directly there. I unloaded my son, went inside. I was told I had to be a member to buy one! Is that something you could have told me on the phone before I went through all this, just to be turned away?!

Negative experience: VERY unhelpful. I came in to get information on getting a membership and some help on planning my vacation. I was handed some pamphlets and told to have a nice day. The pamphlets did not even have any of the information I was looking for.
