Negative experience: Only because I wasn't able to give zero stars. I was a bystander to my mothers almost year long debacle of trying to book a trip. Which went as far as getting corporate involved a sad step that didn't need to be taken. The one time we stopped in Devina and DJ were the only saving grace. Coming into the tail end of the back and forth, calls and trips to the office, I was HIGHLY upset and OFFENDED that it ended the way it did. Why would I be offended? Coincidentally enough as it was all coming to a head, an officer just so happened to show up in the building while my mom was being "helped". She was the only customer in the building at that time, as I saw the building clear out from the car in the parking lot. How suspicious and offputting, not trusting what was going on without my presence I called my mom to check on her and decided to go inside. Just to be met with glares. Glad that we're done with that travesty of a "travel agency" and it's disrespectful, lacking staff (especially the disappearing manager). Will make sure to inform anyone to tread carefully if they decide to go with this Triple AAA location for booking vacations.

Negative experience: I had the most horrible experience with my local Boardman AAA. The manager was horrible & even called the police on me. I paid for my trip back in June of 2024, I had to wait to get my flights. I never received calls from the agent that took my payments for the resort. Fast forward to April of 2025, still no flights booked, when I complained the manager he told me maybe if "I hadn't waited for the prices to go down I'd have flights. After several trips to the local office & a ton of phone calls I was able to get expensive flights. I was given the choice to book myself, I told the agent that's what I came to them for. NO ONE WAS ABLE TO GIVE CORPORATE NUMBER OR THE NUMBER ABOVE MANAGEMENT! Shout out to DJ!

Negative experience: Wow the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced before.. wow..!! I spoke with them on the phone. And they Don’t even know how to speak with the customer nicely.. Act like uneducated customer service people. Hang up so hard my call .. wow.. is that how they make the business? Terrible..

Fantastic experience: I want to give a shout out to the manager Jack and his assistant Allison for helping get our ugly flights to Iceland changed from making multiple connections to making only one. The original travel agent we were working with named Darlene did absolutely nothing to change the flights. She knew they needed changing 5 months before the trip but insisted on waiting until the last minute because her "35 years of experience" as a travel agent said she could. Because of her feet-dragging we ALMOST had to make multiple connections with short (40 minute) lay overs to get to our final destination...all with a person in a wheel chair. Finally because of Jack and Allison's hard work, the flights were finally changed days before the trip. Moral of the story...if you plan on using AAA for travel, stay away from Darlene.

Negative experience: Inept at handling basic insurance services and communications. Switched back to my old provider after losing out on hundreds of dollars. Go literally anywhere else. Even if it’s a little more.

Fantastic experience: Stopped here to get a new IDP for a last minute trip to Japan. I didn't have an appointment, but was in and out in 15 minutes, even had them take the photos. Clean office, very pleasant and professional staff, right on Rt 224 between Canfield and Boardman on south side.

Negative experience: gave a 1 star review because 0 wasnt an option. This company is a fraud. Employees who show up to install batteries are inept and clueless. Might as well give their employees small cars and clown shoes. At least it would be honest advertisement.

Negative experience: I'm 81 and have paid AAA for 28 years... they left me stranded in the ghetto for 5 hours blocking a business entrance...then never lete know if the car picked up or droppcal ed off..I had to call my machanic to find me cat

Fantastic experience: Matthew Carson with Youngstown AAA was prompt, effective, and friendly. He helped us greatly when we were stranded. Emerine’s has an asset in him. Thanks Matthew!

Negative experience: I called triple A today at 230p and am still sitting on the side of the road waiting for a tow truck. I have AAA plus membership and 3 1/2 hours to wait for a tow is unacceptable. I also have a 5 yr old child with me. This is the worst service and I will be calling the BBB on monday. They need to do better.

Negative experience: If you prefer to pay for absolutely poor service or no service at all then this is the place to be! The very last time I called for help I was 40 mins away from home with a flat tire. I waited 5 hours total and called multiple times and put in more than one request. Long story short I was left alone in the cold freezing weather by myself for 5 hours. The tow truck driver marked my service as complete but never showed up to help. So out of the last two times I had car problems and needed assistance I had to wait a total of 8 hours and they only came to help me 1 out of 2 times. So if your looking for no help at all or inconsistent or inconsiderate tow truck drivers than then this is the place to be!!!

Fantastic experience: Had notary and insurance services on a Sat. Incorrectly notarized 2 out of 7 signatures, But the documents were complex and confusing and I didn't catch it either#notmad good place....

Negative experience: Waited on the side of the road while on my motorcycle for over 7 hours for a tow that never showed up. Pitch dark outside, side of the road with a dead cell phone, no longer even visible to passing cars by this time completely UNACCEPTABLE and their only defense was we don't have a lot of trucks for motorcycles. Well than why offer the service. Thankfully I made it home safely by someone else not AAA.

Positive experience: The woman at the front desk seemed just as confused as I was over a easy pass. I'm 66 years old and zero help was offered except follow instructions. I was already behind for my trip to Richmond Va and wasn't able to activate it till the return trip home since I WAS told its not active for 24. 48 hours so paid higher tolls in PA But as it turns out I recieved bad information from someone who was having problems just printing a receipt. The easy pass was active instantly in actually about 4 minutes to input my info with some help from my daughter. These memberships are not cheap especially for a senior on a fixed income and should come with better customer service. This was Christmas eve day about 11:30 am which led to 35% higher tolls in pa and the inconvenience of not being able to use the easy pass Express lanes. I just expect a higher quality of customer service since that's what I did for the last 11 years before my retirement and to this day operate a wood craft business and am involved with Cleveland Coconut Candles as a sales rep for mahoning/trumble counties and spend a considerable amount of time on the road and count on my AAA services for the past years plus have my adult children on my plan. My new car came with OnStar plus a extended warranty covers me in the new SUV for towing roadside actually the same as AAA plus as a senior I negotiated better protection and prices for both services and the customer service has been right on. Positive experience: It was easy to get my membership started. My one complaint is that the man who sold me my membership failed to mention that my Premier services wouldn't be scalable to use until a week after my purchase. I called to get my car towed & thankfully the dispatcher I spoke to with them informed me up front that if I need to go more than 3 miles, I would have to pay the towing company an extra $5 per mile for anything over that 3 miles. Luckily my disabled vehicle was somewhere safe that it could wait a week to be towed.

Positive experience: Basically the only way to use AAA trsvel planning is visiting a brick and mortar location. Helpful staff and friendly. AAA is still great for roadside assistance. But, the travel perks and deals aren't as good as they used to be. The website UI leaves much to be desired.
