Fantastic experience: Greece was my first international trip that wasn’t an all inclusive and Ann was amazing at helping every step of the way. She took care of booking the hotels which was a huge weight off my shoulders. When it came to the things I had to do on my own, she was there to answer all of my questions and help with any hiccups. She set up an itinerary and offered some suggestions on tours and things to do. I had a couple of freak-outs, but she was right there to help me feel calm and confident. It was amazing and Ann really helped make my 40th birthday trip one I’ll never forget. Don’t hesitate to use Ann as your travel agent for your next trip!!

My husband and I love to travel and after a couple of really bad experiences with another travel agency, started going to Kellie at Magic Carpet Travels. Kellie has been amazing! Last year we were in Europe and needed to come home early due to an issue with one of our pets. I called Kellie from Barcelona and she arranged everything from a new flight home to pick up at the airport. She also came to my rescue last fall after Hurricane Helene, changing our arrangements at the last minute so that we were able to visit Nashville instead of Asheville. Looking forward to planning our next adventure with Kellie and Magic Carpet Travels.

Positive experience: My experience with Magic Carpet was great! I’ve booked with company more than once. They are very knowledgeable with the hotels and just about any location you wish to visit. You tell them where and what you’d like and they provide you with packages that meets all of your needs. I also want to include the staff are very helpful, specifically, Kellie. Due to a miscommunication and me ending up sick and not being able to make my trip, Kellie’s ample amount of patience and exceptional customer service skills, really helped me be able to still make my trip at a future date. Her numerous calls and emails to be sure I made my trip really meant a lot to me; I will most certainly book with Magic Carpet travels again! My trip went well and I even was able to fly first class for the first time, that was such a great experience! Negative experience: Booked a trip to Punta Cana for 13 ppl for a few days through the owner, Kellie. I won’t give the company one star as I’m sure there are better agents so two is fair in my eyes. The chasing I had to do to get Kellie to either answer my email, charge my cc, answer my mother in laws phone calls, etc was grueling and very unprofessional. The excuses of personal issues I received constantly were ridiculous - life happens, not naïve to that but you run a business and if I ask three times of something from you, that is an issue. It was to the point where I asked if it was better to assign me another agent in the office as I felt she had no time for me or just couldn’t handle it. Also, do not book flights through this company - do it yourself. I was being told flights were $700+ and that price was “normal” when I got flights for $220 nonstop round trip. I wanted this entire experience of booking to be as easy as possible due to how many people were going but I think I could’ve done it on my own had I of known.

Fantastic experience: Kellie is amazing!! She bent over backwards and went far beyond expectations to make sure our needs were taken care of. She was always willing to answer questions and requests no matter how ridiculous they seemed, and she has the patience of a Saint when dealing with people; especially parents. I will use the agency whenever I need to book a trip!

Negative experience: We contacted them to help book our cruise and hotel stay for our honeymoon in Europe. At first Kelly was very helpful, knowledgeable and answered our questions promptly. After some time went by she disappeared. We sent an email a month went by and no response. So I had to call and ask if they would ever be responding. Every time it was an excuse about her children or something personal. Just before we left we had emailed her confirming she booked everything we asked for the cruise because the invoice didn’t reflect what we told her. Well today’s the last day of the cruise and we are still waiting for her to email back. All in all stay away from this place. You’d be better off asking your dog for help. Giving one star to this deplorable business is a disservice.

After giving her our budget she laid out several options that met my large families criteria (20 ish people, kid friendly, all inclusive, near golf course). She knocked it out of the park and will definitely be my first step the next time we have a family trip to plan!

Fantastic experience: Our travel agent Ann has been amazing. She planned our trip to Italy, our wedding in Mexico and now our honeymoon to France. Without Ann we would not have had the wedding of our dreams. She made the whole process of picking out a resort stress free and listened to exactly what we wanted. She took the time and met with us multiple times, showing us numerous resorts until we found the perfect one. Each of our trips we ended up saving more money than if we planned it on our own. I will never plan a trip without her again. 10/10 recommend.

Fantastic experience: We booked our family vacation with Ann Marie. Unfortunately, we had an issue at check in (they could not find our reservation). I called Ann Marie (after 11pm), she immediately called the resort & we were in a room quickly. The next morning we were upgraded to a suite with private pool and ocean view! The resort provided a fruit platter, snacks and wine in our room and we also received a free dinner in one of their restaurants. We had an amazing time and can’t wait to book with Ann Marie again. ~Sandy Cruz

Fantastic experience: My husband and I contacted Magic Carpet for guidance on destination weddings because we had no clue what we were getting ourselves into. We soon had our first video call with Ann, who immediately made us feel more comfortable with our decision. She knew exactly what type of trip we were looking for in terms of affordability, destination, amenities, family-friendliness, etc. and gave us a list of great options so we decided on our location and date within a week. She shared stories and pictures from other clients that helped us choose. Her timeliness helped us and our families prepare a year in advance for our wedding, which was a top priority for us. She provided a website that laid out all of the room options/prices for our resort that we linked on our digital invitations, and then started helping our 80 guests find the right rooms for their needs. This was SO helpful because the resort’s website and phone lines were extremely difficult to navigate. Further, she helped our guests schedule private transportation between the resort and the airport. We had a lot of first time travelers who were surprised at how smoothly everything went. Myself and several others also used her to find flight deals and will continue doing so. Ann suggested and then planned an excursion to a temple and cenote in Tulum for around 60 people. This served as the perfect icebreaker for most of our guests to get to know each other the day after arriving, and I really think it made the whole trip much more fun and intimate. In terms of the resort, it was just what we wanted. We had all kinds of people and age groups on the guest list who took advantage of its offerings and were very pleased, and as my mother keeps saying “if anyone didn’t have fun that week, it’s their own fault!” What I appreciate most is how she quickly helped each individual guest (some of whom were more high maintenance than others) with their travel plans, multiple extenuating circumstances, local recommendations, and even travel anxieties. I would have pulled my hair out several times over without her. Our whole week, and especially my wedding night were just perfect, and we were shocked to see that we were actually under budget once all was said and done even after some splurges at the resort. When we were ready to book our honeymoon, Ann responded to our text, answered our MANY questions, and booked us an insanely cheap flight to and a decent hotel stay in Southern France within about an hour. We can’t wait for this next trip. Thanks Ann and Magic Carpet for everything!

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend Ann Marie enough! We decided to surprise our 4 and 5 year old with their first trip to Disney World, and Ann legit brought the Disney magic. She was available when we needed her (especially helpful for a family who was doing Disney for the first time), and she even met up with us in Epcot with her own family to split an ice cream with us. It truly felt like working with a family member, and the memories we made on the trip are some of my absolute favorites!

Our flight on the way home was a little delayed and Kellie reassured us and kept us notified of the status before the airline even let us know. Fantastic experience: Kellie booked our 12 day family trip to Italy and it was amazing. She took care of everything from airport transportation to boat/train transportation throughout our travels. She came up with an itinerary that made sense while making sure we got to do all of the things we had hoped to. Any questions I had she responded quickly and was so helpful. Fantastic experience: Working with Magic Carpet has been the BEST experience ever! Kellie makes planning a trip fun and effortless! As a person who finds planning a vacation very overwhelming she has completely taken over and made it the most enjoyable experience!

Negative experience: If I could give 0 stars I would. I planned a birthday trip about 6 months in advanced with magic carpet travels. The travel agent (Deanna) was always rude and always seemed to be bothered whenever I tried to get in contact with her. I had a group of 14 people going and they booked half of the group on a different plane at first and when I called and asked if we could be on the same plane, we were given the run around. The company gave everyone a due date to pay off the trip 12/24/23 and called everyone days before the due date trying to force people to pay early because they wanted to get off early on Christmas eve. Two months before the trip Deanna quit and they gave us another travel agent (Kellie) and she told us she was the owner. Kellie took over and whenever I called to get information such as transfers or transportation to and from the airport, she never had an answer. She would tell me she was going to call me back but never did. I eventually had to call after two weeks of emailing her and calling her with no response or answer back. I went with a travel agent to make the trip easier and smoother for me and I ended being the travel agent, with having to call the hotel for birthday decorations, requesting all of our rooms be close by, and setting up transportation/transfers. When booking the trip, they told us transfers were booked with everything until two weeks before the trip. They then stated we had to come up with $700 for transportation to and from the airport. They did try to accommodate or offer any type of services for all of their inconveniences. Overall, the service was horrible, and I would never book with them again. I literally paid them so I could do all the work for my birthday trip.
