Negative experience: Went in today to purchase airfare for a family reunion, lady at front reception desk took my information and told me to have a seat in the rear where the travel assistants were and someone would assist me. After about 8-10 minutes of sitting patiently the woman asked me if I was there for ID, I said no and I wanted assistance to purchase airfare. Very rudely she then asked if I had an appointment. I said no, explained that I told the woman at the front reception desk what I needed assistance with and sent me to you. At this moment I already knew I was disturbing her with my issue. First words were there’s a $40 charge to help with purchasing tickets. I was a little surprised but ok. After finding flights was told just return flight would be over $550, didn’t try to help find different flights or airlines and continued to be rude and annoyed with my existence. I said thank you and left. Purchased my round trip flight for $375 on my own. I’ll never ask AAA travel for anything ever again! Sorry for asking you to do your job, never again

Negative experience: Arrived 10 minutes before my 350 appointment and was informed they were almost an hour behind because of an "identigo" systems outage that was out of AAA's control. (Going to get fingerprinted to volunteer at daughter's kindergarten) Alright... But you (AAA) get a piece of this business and you are responsible for scheduling the appointmentments, not the indigo system... You couldn't call to alert your appointments to come in an hour later or reschedule??? Accepted no ownership of the error. This location does not respect your time.

Negative experience: Yalisa Larosa please stop emailing me. I have asked multiple times now. I looked into AAA car insurance and have been harassed ever since. Definitely not the way to gain a customer. I’ll stick with State Farm.

Negative experience: I've been a AAA member for 20 years and have always had good experiences with AAA until visiting this location. I came in to register a 5'x8' utility trailer. I didn't have the trailer with me that day. The person at the desk told me to go get the trailer, take it to a CAT scale, get a weigh ticket, and then bring the weigh ticket and the trailer back to AAA so that the AAA agent could verify the VIN on the trailer. I went and paid $14 to CAT to weigh my trailer and then brought it to AAA. Then the guy (who was the branch manager by the way), was very rude and gaslighted me and told me they would never tell me to go weigh the trailer at CAT and that it needs to be done by a mechanic and that he wasn't even allowed tk verify the VIN. Avoid this horrible branch at all costs.
Fantastic experience: Exceptional customer service! As a new resident to PA I needed some assistance with my title release and registering my out of state car for PA. Cynthia was extremely professional, helpful and knowledgeable, not to mention very patient with me in answering all my questions. She set my mind at ease and immediately handled everything. Saving me from having to go to PennDOT to take care of this was simply priceless! Kathleen was also very helpful and friendly and completed the process for me when all the paperwork was filed. Special thanks to Dan who went above and beyond as well. Highly recommend AAA Central Penn in Hummelstown!
Fantastic experience: Kathleen E. at the Hummelstown location recently assisted us in the title transfers of a camper and a utility trailer. She was very knowledgable, proficient, and helped us in such an efficient pleasant manner.. There were a few extra steps needed as well. Please extend our gratefulness to Kathleen and management.

Positive experience: Phone number keeps going to "ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE". I do not need roadside assistance I want to speak with someone that is actually in the Hummelstown office. I have called twice now, first time transferred, and disconnected, second time transferred and had to leave a message. I have now been trying for over half an hour.

Fantastic experience: Amazing people, i dealt with this branch a couple of times. Paperwork was handled by Ashley, she was extremely knowledgeable and courteous. Usually people at other AAA branches are not familiar in how to notarize a title to a dealership, Ashley was a pro. The process was fast and painless and she didn't even ask for a fee!!! Fantastic experience: I need a passport picture done. I was in and out in 10 minutes! The staff here couldn't be kinder or more helpful. A AAA membership is one of the best memberships one can have. They've saved me from being stranded more than once, the perks are worth it and this company cares!

Positive experience: Came here to do a title transfer and had to deal with the rudest person imaginable, when I came back I had a manager who was way nicer and was far more helpful than the one lady who was rude. Most of the other staff seemed nice enough though.

Negative experience: Had the displeasure of working with a very unpleasant young lady yesterday. Her happiness was dependent on shooting down all my requests and adding extra fees. Really terrible service. I would NEVER go there again and will be lodging a complaint about her.
