Fantastic experience: We ate at Kelly's, and it was fantastic. Great food and good service!

Fantastic experience: This is becoming a favorite for our anniversary. This year we had a toddler to bring. The Captain was great with our little one, letting him sit in the Captain's chair and "steer" the ship.

Positive experience: Not handicap accessble..steep ramp. It was raining..could not see out of windows well

Fantastic experience: We had a nice time on the boat today. Be prepared for it to feel cooler/windier on the lake. I recommend boarding early for your pick of seating. The Capt was great!

Positive experience: Nice tour of Lake Pepin. Too many people for the space for me tho. Otherwise it's a great value and fun!

Negative experience: Not enough seating for number of tickets sold. Audio system was crackling and you couldn’t understand the Captain. We are local and this ride is not for locals who see all this scenery all the time.

Positive experience: It was an interesting experience. Captain had neat snippets of information. Don't take kids, it's way too slow moving!

Fantastic experience: If you are elderly and have troubles with walking up hill. Getting off and going up the ramp may not be the easiest. Other then that it is an enjoyable boat ride

Positive experience: Mediocre boat ride from my pov. I was expected to see more bald eagles, but it didn’t meet my expectations. I don’t know others, this boat ride is kinda dry. Simply circling around the water… when I was there, it was a rainy day, the top cover was leaking (not a big issue tho).

Negative experience: Interminably dull. Full of alcholic seniors. Avoid

Positive experience: Enjoyable. Saw many eagles. Captain held mic too close to his mouth creating interference which was irritating. The eagle center narrator held it away from his mouth, much much better. Nice bar, great staff.

Fantastic experience: This was our 3rd visit to the area, staying in Lake City, and also 3rd time we rented from them! Have had a great experience every time. They are helpful and pleasant! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting to rent a kayak or paddle board from them!!!

Positive experience: Staff was great. Kind and helpul. Ride/views were great. However, if you want to hear the narratives over the loudspeaker, the upper deck is the place to sit. Garbled, fairly inaudible when sitting inside on the enclosed, sheltered lower deck.

Positive experience: We did a small circle on the lake. The captain was muffled so couldn't understand anything. Small boat get there early or you will be standing the entire time or stuck on the bottom. Wouldn't do it again

Fantastic experience: The most relaxing 90 minutes ever! Larry, our captain, gives many historical facts about the Mississippi River, Lake Pepin and Minnesota while on the cruise. One of our favorite summer passtimes!

Positive experience: Nice 90 minute cruise on Lake Pepin in Lake City area. Captain Larry was great. Water in Pepin was very high and ramp to board boat needed improvements to assist less mobile guests board and depart the boat.

Fantastic experience: We booked a sunset cruise for our anniversary and loved it! It was a last minute reservation, but it was very easy to book online and a very reasonable price. The staff was friendly and fun! I would definitely recommend!!

Positive experience: Beautiful boat ride with great views, but paddle boat needs a good scrubbing and new smaller chairs and tables upstairs so more people can sit up on the deck....tables, chairs, and windows downstairs were filthy and awning upstairs needs power washing!!! Captain talking also annoying if trying to visit with friends....

Negative experience: My experience was very awful. I called a couple month in advance for a wine/boat tour for sixteen people. Two weeks beforehand, they called me to tell me that the tour was cancelled. I understand that things happen, but the tone of the lady was very rude. She was unable to answer any of my questions and was very short with me and snotty. When I asked why it was cancelled, she replied, "Many reasons, but call the winery. They can tell you." So, I did. The winery replied by saying, "I'm not really sure why it was cancelled, call the boat tour company." Even when calling the boat company the first time to see if I could reserve, which you can't, the lady was very rude, and once again unable to answer many questions. If you're not from around the area and are looking for an amazing experience to view the Mississippi River, go to Prarie du Chien. They have amazing customer experience there and they are so friendly and welcoming! You can also bring on a cooler/beverages/snacks. They are a much better company professionally!
