Fantastic experience: Recently returned from Octoberfest in Munich, while in Europe also visited Innsbruck, Austria, and Lucerne, Switzerland. Kelly took care of all travel arrangements…entire trip was great! Hotels were perfectly located and nice accommodations. Daily tours she arranged were fun and interesting. I highly recommend using Kelly, this is the second time she has arranged a big trip for us and both were fabulous.

Fantastic experience: Kelly Marchand saved my inept attempt to book a Spring Break Trip for my teenager. I contacted Kelly to help me with a shuttle to and from the airport and when I sent her my tickets, she realized that I had booked the WRONG DATES! Can you imagine if I had shown up at the airport the first day of Spring Break only to find my tickets were for the month before. Kelly worked tirelessly all afternoon to get my inaccurate tickets canceled and completely new flights booked. She worked her magic and got me a refund for my current flight, used part of that refund for tickets with that airline AND booked the other part with another airline. All the while keeping me with the same arrival and departure dates I needed for my nonrefundable resort stay. Think about it she was trying to book March flights in February! AND she was able to do it all within my budget! Hats off to Kelly! She was amazing to work with, a true wizard in the murky world of airline booking! If you are looking for a travel agent that has a firm command on travel and a great mind toward budgeting and details Kelly Marchand is the person you need to hire for your next excursion. Negative experience: Very nasty! The owner didn’t want to help. She kept saying things that would deter us…”these packages are expensive are you sure this is something you want?” “we’re going to charge a deposit because we don’t work for free” Duh, I know that. But is that something to say to a customer? She probably picked up on that I was a black woman. She is racist, that’s the only thing that would explain her nastiness and unwillingness to help. Run!

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Kelly from a friend and very glad that I was! I had travel credits from a prior package booked thru another agency that dropped the ball and the credits were getting ready to expire. I shared my situation and details with Kelly and she was able to find a great trip for my family of 4 and was able to easily apply all of my credits. She was very attentive and responsive to all my questions and really took the burden and stress off of me. I have no problem recommending her to anyone needing assistance with travel plans. Negative experience: My Fiancé & I were looking for a new travel agent as we travel all the time. I phoned to inquire about a vacation and spoke with Mark. He was unprofessional, discourteous, rude, obnoxious, & condescending! He talked to me, a potential new client, like I had committed a crime and was on trial. Shelton travel would have to get better to be terrible!! I will be filing a formal complaint with the BBB. BUYER BEWARE!! GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE!!!! PS: You can keep your $100 voucher I don’t want it or need it. I’m glad you think you treated me with respect & common courtesy but you did not. I’ve already found another agency. Remember this people: if you have the money then you make the rules! And you don’t have to tolerate a narcissistic, egomaniacal, argumentative personality.

I told her what I wanted (and then some) and she sent me many e-mails with prices of the days that I could take and which options were cheaper. It took me about three days to decide and then we pulled the trigger. Fantastic experience: Kelly Helped plan our family vacation starting in 2019. We had a cruise planned as well as a trip to Disney World and Universal Studios. She had every accommodation and detail covered for the trip. She had all transportation covered for our large family number, all meal planning, resort and hotel reservations, even our theme park passes and events!! The month of our cruise, the cruise line cancelled the cruise. With little notice, Kelly was able to cancel all unnecessary plans, and then book a whole new itinerary on the fly!!! Fantastic experience: Kelly has planned two trips on my behalf: our daughter’s honeymoon to Antigua and a recent trip my wife and I took to London, Paris and Amsterdam. Our daughter’s honeymoon by her and her husband’s experience was memorable, unforgettable. Every detail planned out. It was a dream come true. Similarly, our European adventure to commemorate our 35th anniversary was impeccably planned. Kelly’s recommendations and guidance for private tours, advance reservations, transportation were excellent ! We’re already thinking about other trips and Kelly and Shelton will be doing the planning !

Fantastic experience: Just got back from Spring Break in Riviera Maya that Kelly Marchand booked for us. I cannot say enough great things about the trip or Kelly. She had everything that I had asked for perfectly planned. She was available 24/7. All I had to do was pack and get on the plane. Awesome agent. Looking forward to booking my next trip with her.

Fantastic experience: Julie Watson at Shelton Travel did a great job on helping me to find an all-inclusive resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica. She stayed in constant contact throughout the planning process and was very responsive to any questions. Our trip turned out to be ah-mazing!

Negative experience: DO NOT use Kelly Marchand as your travel agent. Not only was she late to appointments, she had miss spelled names on plane tickets, failed to get everyone the required reservations, lost record of one of our party’s members payments on flights, failed to deliver funds to our representative in Cancun for our destination wedding so we had a whole mess when we arrived on resort in Mexico, told us she’d check us into flights then forget to do it for over half of the family so that we couldn’t be together, and to be honest was just extremely flaky, very forgetful, and had one excuse after another after we attempted to solve minor issues before they dominoed into chaos which is all listed above. Our experience with her WAS ATROCIOUS. The amount of stress and mis-haps that happened were unacceptable and a complete mess. Her job was to make this vacation seamless so we wouldn’t have to worry more than expected when travel. Thank god for other people at the agency that could cover her slack and keep us in mind.
