Travel For Teens

Fantastic experience: I had such an amazing time with travel for teens. I went for a community service program, thinking I was only going to be doing it for credits but in the end I ended up having the funnest time of my life! Everything about the program was so well put together. I ended up making so many friends, eating a ton of delicious food, and taking with me a ton of memories! Totally recommend this program to anyone who’s looking to do it!

Fantastic experience: My summer at TFT (Thailand Adventure) was a dope experience . The counselors and the other teens were super chill and made a whole new country feel like a home away from home. The program had the perfect balance of new cultural experiences, group activities, and community service. Every day was something new! Swimming with elephants, going to thai markets, hiking on a beautiful mountain, or learning how to cook noodles in bamboo shoots! We worked to make a big impact and long-lasting difference for the kids we helped and the schools we worked to renew. Where we worked to make a difference, we also made connections along the way. We connected with the Thai language, the food, the people, the wildlife, and each other. The experience goes hard10/10! Recommend!!! <3

Fantastic experience: I had a very nice time on my teen tour to London and Paris. I met lots of different high schoolers from across the country, and had a good time getting to know them. Food was alright. Visited interesting places, both tourist-y and not as much, but my favorite part was spending time with my fellow travelers. The counsellors were also very friendly, funny, and helpful. We went biking, tried hot chocolate, explored gardens, enjoyed the pier of Brighton, and more. Overall an enjoyable experience.

Fantastic experience: My teen travel photography trip to Italy was an incredible blend of adventure, creativity, and personal growth. Exploring cities like Florence with my camera taught me to see the world more intentionally and capture moments that tell real stories. The workshops pushed me artistically, and photographing new places and people helped me discover a deeper appreciation for connection and detail. Beyond the photography itself, the experience helped me grow in ways I didn’t expect. Being away from home encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone, become more independent, and build friendships that felt instantly meaningful. I returned with new skills, new confidence, and a stronger sense of who I am—both as a person and as an artist. I’d recommend this program to anyone looking for inspiration and growth.

Fantastic experience: My trip with TFT in Spain was incredibly fun, engaging and educational. I walked off the plane, having landed in Madrid, not knowing what to expect. For me, this was a totally new experience, with a new program, with new people. In other words, I went in blind. Throughout my trip however, these new people soon became both friends and mentors for life. From an educational standpoint, each day I took about 4 hours worth of Spanish language classes which were enjoyable and engaging. These classes had a range of styles for all types learners: lectures and note taking, hands on visual activities, and interactive scavenger hunts on the streets of Spain. When these classes ended, the fun was just beginning. Each afternoon, there were super fun events, encompassing a range of interests and free time to see more of the various Spanish cities. In all, this was a super fun experience that I’ll remember for my whole life.

Fantastic experience: My trip to Greece was amazing, all thanks to Travels for Teens. Through this one week program, I had the chance to meet people from around the world. I enjoyed unforgettable experiences, like scuba diving, exploring historic monuments, and experiencing the culture. The program gave me the opportunity to really get to know everyone.Overall, my experience was so wonderful because of the opportunities that Travels for Teens provides.

Fantastic experience: TFT truly changed my life! I was able to volunteer in renovating parks and schools in costa rica as well as work in marine conservation on the reefs of costa rica. these transformative experiences are not taken for granted!

Fantastic experience: Going on Travel for Teens' Greece and Italy adventure was one of the most rewarding experiences I've ever had. I got to travel to incredible places like Capri, Amalfi Coast, Rome, Athens, and Lefkada. As someone who hadn't ever been out of the country by myself, Travel for Teens allowed me to feel safe and confident about being in a country with people I had never met before. It was super easy to make friends, to feel safe with my councillors, and to have fun. I always look back on that trip as transformative (for myself), and the highlight of my summer. I think travel for teens did a great job with the itinerary, and also picking councillors that were very good connecting with the students. Overall, I had a great time being apart of Travel for Teens' program.

Fantastic experience: My trip with Travel for Teens so was perfect. I went to Italy and Greece for two weeks and it couldn't have been better. This was a bit out of my comfort zone, since it was my first time traveling alone, but my director was so amazing and always made sure I was comfortable. We saw the most amazing views and the best experiences I could have asked for.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been on two Travel For Teens trips, and I seriously love this program. Both of my older siblings did TFT every summer all four years of high school, and one of them is even a CIT now, so I kind of grew up hearing how great it was. Getting to finally experience it myself was incredible. There’s something so amazing about traveling without your parents but still being with people your age who are just as excited to explore the world as you are. Both my Italy trip and my Hawaii sea turtle trip were unforgettable, and I actually met two of my closest friends on those trips. We still talk all the time and even see each other when we can, which is crazy considering we live in different places. Out of the two trips, though, the Hawaii sea turtle one was definitely my favorite. I love marine biology, so getting to see live turtles, learn how they’re cared for, and talk to actual professionals made it feel like a dream. The counselors were great, the activities were fun, and the whole experience just felt special. Travel For Teens has honestly given me some of the best memories and some of the best people in my life

Fantastic experience: Travel for Teens was the best experience of my life and I could encourage all teens that have a passion to travel to do this program. I went on the Costa Rica Adrenaline and made the best memories and friends. From tubing on the river to sufing lessons on the beach there was never a moment I wasn't bored. Everyone was so nice especially the group leaders. Everyone connected so quickly which made the whole trip so fun. My favorite memory was swimming in the beach during sunset with all my new friends. I love back now and wish I could relive that night. I felt comfortable to whole trip and knew if I needed anything I could go to a leader for help. This trip was the best 11 days of my life and I wish everyday I could go back.

Fantastic experience: My Greece island-hopping trip with TFT was honestly one of the best experiences I’ve had so far. I knew Greece was supposed to be nice, because everyone talks about the beaches and the scenery, but being there in person really hits different. Every island felt like its own little world, and the whole trip had this mix of adventure and chill moments that made it feel way more special than a regular vacation.

Fantastic experience: I've traveled with TFT for 2 summers. It is the most amazing experience ever and a wonderful way to travel the world at a young age. I traveled to Fiji on the service trip. You get to experience new cultures that are different from your own and really experience the culture alongside amazing friends you make along the way and the counselors. I also went to Belize and got to get my PADI certification, which I couldn't have done without TFT! If you want to experience new cultures and foods and meet amazing people, I totally recommend any TFT trip!

Fantastic experience: Travel for Teens is an experience I recommend to everyone who has wanted to travel-but wanted a group experience. Counselors guide the teens very well and adapt to situations in a helpful manner. Could not recommend a better program to experience the world while being independent with a group ❤️❤️❤️

Fantastic experience: I anticipated activities that were fun and interesting, however I was totally shocked just how much fun and thought was put into planning the trip. In Australia we explored the amazing Great Barrier Reef multiple times. In New Zealand we curved through sharp rock formations in an exhilarating jet boat and paraglided over Queenstown. In Fiji we swam in pretty beaches and played with local Fijian kids. Overall very fun

Fantastic experience: Had a really amazing time that I definitely won’t forget! The counselors were really helpful in ensuring everyone’s needs were met and encouraged us to step out of our comfort zones without pushing us to do things we really did not want to. There were plenty of fun activities for everyone to partake it and there really was never a dull moment; even when there was downtime there were still always things to do.

Fantastic experience: This past summer and the one before, I had the opportunity to travel with travel for teens on 2 seaturtle service projects. The first one in 2024 was to Costa Rica, and it was very service heavy. I got to go hands on and work with the seaturtles on an island in costa rica. We got to stay there for a week and surf, zipline, and eat lots of good food. We got to go on seaturtle patrol and were immersed into the costa rican culture. It was amazing! The next trip I went on this past summer, was a seaturtle service trip to Oahu, and Maui, HI. It was an incredible trip. There was the most perfect balance of service and adventure and we truly were very hands on with each thing we did. We saw turtles beach themselves on beaches, we got to snorkel and go on speed boats and we also got to work in labs with marine biologists at the Maui Ocean Center. Truly an amazing experience! All and all travel for teens is such an amazing program where you get to do extraordinary things and meet friends from all different walks of life that you will cherish forever. If you get the opportunity to hop on a plane and go wherever your trip wants to bring you. Take the opportunity. It will be the best time of your life.

Fantastic experience: Going to Australia and New Zealand with Travel For Teens was one of the most memorable experiences I’ve ever had. The trip was the perfect mix of adventure, culture, and meaningful moments. Paragliding over the coast was easily the highlight it was unreal and something I’ll never forget. I also got to plant native trees as part of a conservation project, which made me feel like I was giving back in a real way. We explored Sydney’s neighborhoods, climbed the Harbor Bridge, and even went to a rugby game, which was such a fun way to dive into local life. The Travel For Teens staff were super supportive and made everything run smoothly. I felt safe, challenged, and encouraged to try new things. I made great friends along the way, and sharing those experiences with them made the trip even better. I came home with new perspectives, unforgettable memories, and a real appreciation for the places we visited. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, meaningful way to travel.

Fantastic experience: I had an incredibly fun time traveling to Spain and Portugal with TFT. My trip to Spain and Portugal was incredibly fun. The places we went to and things we saw and activities we did were all very fun and I ended even up enjoying things I thought I wouldn’t like just because the people around me and the environment was so great. The counselors definitely cared about our safety and I felt very safe and in good hands with TFT but they were still fun and nice and I bonded with them as well as the other kids. We didn’t have to spend too much money as the counselors paid for breakfast, dinner, and all the activites we did that weren’t optional. While it can seem daunting to be in another country with random teens you’ve never met it is incredibly worth it to go on a TFT tour and I have made many new friends from it. I especially recommend the Spain and Portugal trip because the beautiful beaches, incredible museums, and the architecture and food all came together to give me an unforgettable experience.

Fantastic experience: This was truly an experience of a lifetime. If you are looking to travel the world, create lifelong friendships, learn beneficial skills, and become more independent, Travel for Teens is truly the right program for everyone. I was fortunate enough to go on the, Costa Rica Adventure & Service trip, for 11 days. This was incredible, we were able to have fun while still doing service at two schools to make these children’s lives better. We went white water rafting, went inside of hot springs, stayed alongside a river in the rainforest, ziplining, paddle boarding, surfing, snorkeling, and so much more! I became so close with everyone on this trip, and still talk to them to this day. I was researching the trip I wanted to do for next year, while I was on this trip, because of how much I loved it! Truly, TFT is the best program to travel the world. There are so many wonderful opportunities, and memories waiting to be made. If you are thinking about doing a trip with them, DO IT! This was truly unforgettable.

Fantastic experience: Travel for Teens is a life-changing experience. From my first trip to Hawaii in the summer after 8th grade I knew I’d be hooked on traveling with TFT. I made friendships and memories that have lasted and I loved the independence and freedom of traveling with peers. The seas turtle service projects were one of my favorite parts of the trips. My counselor Gabi was especially amazing and inspired me to keep traveling. Since then I’ve been to Greece and Hawaii again and I can’t wait for this summer’s trip!

Fantastic experience: I traveled with Travel for Teens this summer for the first time and had the most fantastic trip! I went to Italy for the photography workshop program and cannot recommend it enough! The group leaders were amazing, the activities were very well thought out, and my co-travelers were great to experience this trip with. It was the perfect balance of activity, downtime, and learning. We would begin our day by having a group photography discussion, then would be off to adventure! During this trip, we visited Cinque Terre, Florence, and Venice. It was insane to me how we were able to visit such a variety of places in Italy in just over a week! It did not feel rushed or overwhelming. I feel like we stayed in each place for the perfect amount of time. I made some of my favorite memories on this trip and highly recommend traveling with Travel for Teens to anyone who is considering it!

Fantastic experience: Travel for Teens is an amazing experience for teens that have the urge to travel and want to be somewhat independent! You have amazing counselors and new friends who you get to know as your trip progresses, but also have the sense of freedom and independence! Personally I have only done 1 TFT trip and I got to explore Italy for 2 weeks, but Im doing the Spain, Portugal, and Morocco trip this coming summer and could not be more excited to be back with the program! On the Italy trip we rode gondolas in Venice, Took a cooking class in Montalcino, hiked from village to village in Cinque Terra, had a gelato tour in Florence, and visited the colosseum in Rome! If you are looking for a safe, fun, and welcoming program to travel with, Travel for Teens is the best option! The staff is warm and welcoming and makes you feel comfortable wherever it is you are going.

Fantastic experience: My 16 year old son went not knowing anyone and made some great friendships. He loved the Greece & Italy trip especially the boat days. He even got to scuba dive for the first time. It was great receiving the nightly emails and pictures.

Fantastic experience: Our son did his first TFT trip this past summer to Costa Rica and loved it. Their group director emailed us every night and every day shared pictures and information on what they did that day. The team was wonderful and the TFT staff is responsive and very organized. Registration is super quick, easy and efficient. We just booked next summer to Amalfi Coast! Can't wait!

Fantastic experience: This is my 17 yr olds third trip with TfT and once again it was a flying success! This year she went outside of Europe and did the service trip to Thailand. Within 3 days she was calling home asking to extend to the Vietnam portion. I can’t thank TFT enough for the experiences that have least to significant growth, maturity and independence. She has very unique college application essays that will really stand out.

Fantastic experience: I went on a Travel for Teens (TFT) trip to Thailand in 2022, and it was an amazing experience! The staff was so kind, and the trip ran very smoothly. The trip was so much fun! It offered so many unique opportunities like interacting with elephants, exploring Thai temples, trying different Thai foods, and doing outdoor activities like kayaking, mountain biking, and ziplining. It was an incredible trip, and I would recommend this trip and TFT to anyone!

Fantastic experience: I went on a Travel for Teen's Trip back when I was 15 and 18, and they were some of the absolute best experiences of my life!! (First to Paris and London, Second to Italy, Switzerland, Germany, and Amsterdam) I loved the company so much, and after my last trip as a camper I then did a trip as a counselor! My trips with Travel for Teens were just the best, both as a camper and a counselor. I think of them all the time and wish I could go back in time and do more! The staff are the loveliest people with the truest goal of creating fun, safe, and educational memories for teens! Creating long lasting memories. I have such a passion for traveling and being able to go to new places and experience it with people my age, making new friends, and learning from super well traveled counselors was amazing. They have so many different programs, including traveling to several countries in one trip. Places I probably wouldn't have been able to experience without Travel for Teens. And doing really cool activities, I went canyoning in the Swiss Alps! Like What?!?! still follow everyone I met, and a funny story was around three years after my last trip I went to a different state with my friend and in a random college elevator I ran into someone I went on a trip with who was from the opposite side of the country than me!! But if you are looking for a company to send your kids on trips with, THIS IS THE ONE!! I can promise you that. I can't say enough how much I love this company. Ned Clark is the greatest ever!!

Fantastic experience: Travel For Teens changed my life. It truly made me into the person I am and influenced my desire to travel and even LIVE abroad in my adult life! Though I went 15 years ago in the summers of 2009 and 2010, I still think about the incredible experiences on TFT and how it developed my understanding and passion for travel and culture. I can imagine their tours have only gotten BETTER since I went! Ned and Kate were fantastic on my trips to Eastern Europe and Italy, as well as my counsellors the year before in France and Italy. There’s a reason I went two summers in a row! I was so well taken care of at every stage, and everyone in the company truly cares about their travellers. Of course there’s the fun, food, and unforgettable friendships. But there is also important history, culture, local life, art, and travelling lessons along the way. I would recommend these tours for any teen - I really do not think there is a better way to go! TFT created an independent, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable individual out of me, and I know they continue to do so every summer! I am so grateful for the memories. Thanks TFT!

I have seen their team manage everything from regular travel needs to lost passports to illness and more. The counselors are fantastic and full of fun. For a school trip, I don’t think you could find any better company. They personalize for your school and get to know the students and adults. Absolutely fabulous company!

Fantastic experience: Travel for Teens was such an experience of a lifetime!!! I did two trips with them (one in Europe and one in Asia). These trips are so well put together and are imbedded with truly amazing cultural experiences. I felt very safe traveling with this company and well cared for- the staff are amazing!! Fantastic experience: I’ve been on three Travel for Teens (TFT) trips so far, and there’s a reason I keep coming back. These trips provide a perfect balance of adventure and safety. The counselors are incredible, offering just the right amount of guidance while allowing us the independence to explore and truly immerse ourselves in each destination. Some of my favorite memories with TFT include unexpectedly pulling over to witness the northern lights in Iceland, paragliding off a mountain in Switzerland, doing a private boat tour in Greece, and even seeing my favorite artist (Taylor Swift) perform in the Netherlands. My favorite part about TFT are the people. Meeting both the counselors and other travelers has made me feel like I have friends in every pocket of the country. TFT has allowed me to experience incredible places, activities, and people I would have never on my own and that's why I love it!!

Fantastic experience: I was on a Travel for Teens community service trip to Belize this past summer, and I had the time of my life! The counselors were amazing, the food was delicious, and I made so many new friends! We got to scuba dive two times a day, removing lionfish (invasive species) from the reef. We saw so many different kinds of fish, and we got to learn all about them from the crew! We also got the wonderful opportunity to participate in building a nesting place for one of the native turtles to have her babies! It was only my third time diving, and it was a blast. The staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming. If you are feeling hesitant, I say go for it. Everyone is incredibly kind and you'll have memories to last a lifetime. I have already booked another TFT trip for next year!

Fantastic experience: I went to Croatia last summer with TFT and had no idea what to expect. Of course I saw the videos of making lifelong friendships and having an amazing time in picturesque locations, but I wasn’t sure if that would be my experience. To my delight it was everything I imagined and more. The staff, fellow travelers, and destination were all perfect. We were always in the center of all the action, doing the most fun activities, and most importantly, we were always safe. I would recommend this trip to anyone, it’s an absolute no brainer!

Fantastic experience: Going to Japan with Travel For Teens was amazing! From exploring the lively city of Tokyo to the peaceful countryside of Miyagi, every moment was unforgettable. The itinerary had the perfect balance of everything Japan has to offer. There was plenty of freedom to explore while still feeling comfortable and safe. The counselors were fantastic—they prioritized my experience and were always there when needed. This trip truly sparked my love for travel!

Fantastic experience: This summer, I went Greece with Travel for Teens! The whole experience was top tier, from the cultural immersion, to the adventure, to the insane views. Visiting the Acropolis was unreal; standing with so much history is something I’ll never forget. We explored the Temple of Poseidon, which really made my head spin--there were ancient Greeks praying right where I was standing! The Ottoman fortress we explored was also insane, there was a battle there! We also took a boat tour around Paros, which was amazing, jumping off, swimming to isolated beaches and exploring random islands with your buddies. And of course, Santorini lived up to the hype. Scuba diving there was a highlight--my first time, and I was hooked. After a long school year, the mix of adventure and downtime was perfect. The beaches were beautiful and the perfect spot to just relax. The group was great, everyone was chill and wanted to have a great time. We all ended up laughing over the gelato runs every night. Overall, it was the perfect balance of learning, exploring, and taking in out of this world views. If you’re looking for an experience to MAKE your summer, this is the one for you

Fantastic experience: Croatia island hopping is one of the best experiences I have had with travel for teens. From hanging out on a boat all day with all of my new friends to hiking and swimming! The staff is very well trained helping me from the moment I got my phone stolen finding me a store to buy a new one and even helping me set it up. Everyone is very welcoming and is willing to help. The boat is small but it leads to a great time and lots of bonding experiences! The trip is a always changing trip where you are moving day by day so be ready for lots of changing plans.

Fantastic experience: This summer I had the opportunity to go on the European Explorer 25 day trip. On this trip we went to 5 countries; Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, and France. At first I was extremely nervous to go on the trip because I would be leaving the country with 11 other kids that I did not know. When I got to the airport, I immediately realized that every other person on the trip was in the exact same boat as I was and we all started talking and immediately became best friends. This trip gave me the opportunity to not only have so much fun with the best people, but I also learned so much on the trip. My counselors were amazing and were able to balance having fun and taking advantage of teaching opportunities so well. They also made me feel safe during the entirety of the trip and the accommodations felt safe and clean. While I was in all of these countries I was able to be fully immersed in the culture. While we did all of the big touristy attractions we also got to experience authentic food and have authentic cultural experiences. We did a variation of activities so everyone got to do something they like. From shopping to swimming to hiking to sightseeing there was truly something for everyone. I met people that are now my best friends and I talk to them everyday and made some of the best memories that I will never forget. TFT provided me with the best summer I could have ever imagined and I would recommend it to anyone who asked. I also did Aus, NZ, Fiji service. I really enjoyed the is trip and would also recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic experience: My kids have traveled with Travel for Teens twice- the 3 week Hawaii trip and the Alpine Adventure trip. Everything from start to finish went smoothly, TFT is always in communication with you, and the trip leaders are AMAZING- fun and friendly and professional. Both of my kids made great new friends with their fellow travelers who were kind and adventurous. I cannot recommend TFT enough! I did plenty of research of other companies before choosing TFT, and signing up with them was the absolute best choice.

Fantastic experience: Travel for teens was a wonderful experience for my son. Once his summer camp had run its course, it was the perfect time to explore his love for travel. The program was the perfect choice for a solo traveler- it was very welcoming and inclusive. Great counselors and kids from all over. It was an amazing trip with great communication and pictures throughout. Well organized and would highly recommend to any parent. He said he would go again and that is saying alot!

Fantastic experience: So amazing! I went on the japan trip with a group of about 12 others and I made so many unforgettable memories! I got to experience Japan in so many ways I never would’ve experienced if I simply went on my own, alongside the wonderful and long lasting friendships I made within my group. From the cities of Japan to my trip friends to the counselors, everyone has secured a solid and everlasting place in my heart. Every memory from this journey is held affectionately within me and every time I think back to it, I am filled to the brim with nostalgia. I am so thankful for TFT for the amazing experience and would love to become involved with them in the future!

Fantastic experience: I traveled by myself from Nairobi, Kenya, to Austria, and it took me eight and a half hours to arrive because I had to stop at Amsterdam airport with a layover of two hours. I later boarded another flight to Austria. I arrived in Austria and met a very kind TFT group counselor waiting for me at the airport. It was so amazing to see the beautiful city of Vienna. We headed to the hotel, where I met the rest of the team and started bonding. These were my fellow teens who later became my friends. They knew a lot about Kenya, where I come from, and I had a fantastic time with them. This was my second TFT travel, but I was still very excited to see what it looked like in Austria and Hungary. I tried some Austrian street food, which was delicious. It was a special time for me because it was the first time I had seen snowfall. It was icy cold, and I had to wear an oversized jacket, gloves, and boots. We explored the winter market, where I bought souvenirs for my family back home in Kenya. We also explored the old buildings and museums, which was eye-opening. Afterward, we headed back to the hotel because it was getting late. We used trains throughout Austria and Budapest; it was my first time, too. It was a time of many firsts for me, and I looked forward to traveling more with TFT.

Fantastic experience: Travel for Teens gave me such a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! I was able to visit a place that I never thought I could and the counselors made the environment so safe and still a blast at the same time! Could not recommend more!

Fantastic experience: TFT has been one of the biggest blessings in my life. I could have never imagined the amazing group of people that became my second family during my trip. This company let me experience a new place and culture with people from all different backgrounds while never worrying for my safety. The counselors on my trip were amazing and very accomplished people sharing their passion, and love for travel. The experiences that I had with TFT will be with me for the rest of my life. It was such a great time, the leaders were amazing and we saw a lot and got to do many excursions. TFT has also been very good at reaching out and answering any questions about trips, or signing up and any other help you may need they are always there to help. I highly recommend TFT 100%, it was an experience of a lifetime.

Fantastic experience: Went to costa rica for three weeks on a service and adventure trip. From the beginning I was welcomed by the counselors and introduced to everyone. They made sure everyone had a good time while also keeping us safe and organized. I highly recommend traveling with tft and will be using them again.

Fantastic experience: The Travel for Teens program gave me an opportunity to begin exploring the world. I began looking for a program march 2023 and found the france explorer trip. My trip went from Paris to normandy then Aix-en- Provence and finally Nice and I ended up in a very small group of 6 girls. With such a small group it was very easy to get close and by the third day of the trip we were like a family. The trip itinerary was perfect, starting in a big city and ending on the coast. One thing my parents worried about before sending me on the trip was safety which turned out not to be an issue. My phone even broke on the last few days of the trip and my counselors made sure that I had a safe trip home by printing out my boarding passes for me and ensuring I know where I need to be. In all the Travel for Teens program is amazing and I plan to attend another trip next year.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time going on a trip with TFT and my first experience was one I'll never forget. What stood out to me for the entirety of the experience was the strong bond that I formed. From arrival to departure a tight knit family was formed with my trip mates and counselors.

Fantastic experience: I traveled with TFT in the summer during Covid and absolutely loved my experience! Even during those stressful times my trip leaders and the TFT staff did everything to make our trip as amazing and pact as possible. I did not feel limited by the worldwide pandemic while I was traveling the world and that was an incredible feeling! I have traveled with a couple different teen travel companies and TFT is by far my favorite for several reasons! For one I really loved my trip leaders! They would take the time to actually get to know us making them truly feel a part of the group, not just the people in charge. There were some excursions that some of us didn't want to do (like rock climbing) and they would sit with us at a cafe and have a cup of coffee to keep us company. The actually countries I traveled to were of course amazing and beautiful and TFT made feel like I was truly experiencing those countries authentically and not just passing through them. If you are in high school, or even middle school and are dying to travel the world like I was. Then I HIGHLY recommend TFT to start your travel journey!

Positive experience: I’ve now spent two of my summers traveling with TFT and I could never go back. I’ve been to Greece, France, Switzerland, and Italy and I had the most amazing times! Going on a trip like this was very out of my comfort zone, especially not knowing anyone at the very beginning, but trust me, it's so worth it if you love seeing new things in new places with new friends! If you’re worried about safety, I wouldn’t be. The Travel for Teens staff and counselors know what to do when something comes up, which is very reassuring. These trips are also unique because even though to the locals we may look like a generic, large travel group, the things that we do are not basic. When you go on a Travel for Teens trip, you get to experience private experiences that you don’t get on a normal trip, while also sightseeing. For example, when I was in Italy, we saw the Duomo while in Florence (which is amazing) but we also went to Tuscany to go to a small, family-owned winery, meet the family, and they taught us how to make some of their favorite, fresh Italian dishes (and of course, we got a tour of their winery). We got to swim in their pool and play with their dogs, and it was just an experience that I would never have had without TFT! If this sounds like something you would enjoy, then I highly recommend traveling with Travel for Teens this summer!

Fantastic experience: My trip was the best week of my summer by fair. The things you do and the people you meet are incredible. This was my first time doing something like this and it definitely won't be my last.

Fantastic experience: So far, I have been on 2 TFT trips: Pacific Northwest Explorer and Budapest, Krakow, Vienna and Prague. I have had great experiences with both of these trips and the company as a whole. My TFT experience started with getting in contact with Maggie at the TFT office, who quickly and professionally responded to all the questions from me and my parents. Additopnally, when there was a issue with changes of flights, the office resolved the issue collaboratively with me and my family, reassuring my parents that I would arrive safely to the trip destination. I took the Pacific Northwest Explorer trip in the summer of 2022. The itinerary is flawless, a perfect mix of cities and nature, and the counselors, Annalise and Willoughby, worked to ensure the trip was enjoyable for everyone. We traversed up mountains, swam in crystal clear lakes, and explored our way through the beautiful cities of the west coast. This past summer (summer 2023), I went on the Budapest, Krakow, Vienna and Prague trip. This trip somehow exceeded the sky-high bar that was set by my last trip. We did a lot of fun activities, like legal graffiti in Vienna, cooking classes, bike tours, caving, and even a ghost tour! What really made the trip spectacular, though, were the counselors, Shan and Greg. They were very aware of group dynamics and receptive to campers’ feelings and concerns, listened to the desires and wishes of the campers, and worked their hardest to make the trip enjoyable for everyone. I will continue to travel with TFT for the imaginanle future, and I recommend the company to everyone and anyone who is looking for a safe, reliable teen tour.

Fantastic experience: I have been traveling with TFT for 2 years and have gone on 3 trips. There is a reason I keep going back, and it is the amazing experiences I have had. I've made so many friends, traveled to so many new places, made so many memories, and had an incredible time. Over the past 2 summers, I went to Paris, London, Florida, and all over Italy. Fantastic experience: Travel for Teens is the best decision I’ve ever made! Our Italy Explorer trip was planned out perfectly and executed by the kind, caring and fun Counselors. We felt like a big family on the trip. From eating pasta in Venice to a incredible beach in Monterosso, it was a experience like no other. But what really struck me is the way the staff handled a unfortunate situation in Florence that was out of the companies control. The hostel we were originally planned to stay at turned out to be not up to the companies high standards, so the trip counselor, office staff in Philadelphia and the CEO of the company quickly created a plan of action to move all 25 of us to a different hotel in Florence. Even with this hiccup, the experience of Florence was not ruined but only improved! While the senior director figured out a new hotel, we didn’t skip a beat in enjoying Florence. I am so glad that I found a company I can trust and continue to love. Thank you Travel for teens!

Fantastic experience: Trip - Europe for Older Teens: London, Paris, French Riviera and Barcelona Heading into this trip I had high expectations, but after it was over, it was even better than I could have expected! The activities that we went on were always so fun and the places we went always had something for everyone. The counselors were always so engaged with us and truly wanted us to enjoy ourselves and have a great time. Even with tight schedules that we had everyday, we always knew what we would be doing and definitely made the most of our time across England, France and Spain. The views were just so gorgeous and the friends I made have me waiting to go on another trip soon!

Fantastic experience: Europe for Older Teens: Greece and Italy: (2022 Summer) Summer of 2022, I had the pleasure of joining Travel for Teens on their Older Teens Greece and Italy trip and I have to say, it was easily the best decision I've made in a long time! From start to finish, everything was spectacularly well-organized, and the itinerary left plenty of room for spontaneity and exploration. Our counselors were knowledgeable, friendly, and approachable, making us feel right at home in unfamiliar surroundings. They took care of everything from navigating public transportation to arranging for meals and accommodations. We were able to focus completely on experiencing the wonders of these ancient lands without any of the logistics or scheduling worries. Every day was filled with adventure and discovery, and I left both countries feeling profoundly affected by the experience. One of the highlights of the trip was the chance to get on the water in both Greece and Italy. These beach days where we were island hopping was most definitely one of the best experiences I have ever had. Whether it was chatting with street artists in Rome or learning about and eating traditional dishes on the island of Lefkada, we were able to connect with people on a genuine, human level. It made the trip feel so much more authentic and unforgettable. I also appreciated how Travel for Teens encouraged us to step outside of our comfort zones. Whether it was trying new foods, speaking in foreign languages, or tackling physical challenges like scuba driving in Greece, they gave us opportunities to grow and learn from our experiences. I feel like I came away from the trip with a broader perspective on life, and a greater appreciation for the diversity of the world. Not only that, but I have made lifelong connections through this program and continue to contact the friends I have made on this trip years later! Fantastic experience: This was my first year going on a teen tour. It was such a hard decision to decide what trip I wanted to go on because they all seemed so great. For my first tour, I chose Hawaii and California for Middle School. It was SO much fun. You would think that it would be hard to make friends but by the time we landed at our first location, I had already made a friend. It was such a fun trip helping sea turtles, going on adventures and making friends with new kids from all over the US. I highly recommend TFT for the summer of a lifetime!

Fantastic experience: Our boys have been traveling with TFT since 2018, and we already started planning next summer (this time our daughter will be old enough to join!). They have been on a total of 10+ trips and visited more than 15 destinations. I can't say enough about how phenomenal TFT is. The WHOLE team. From the CEO to the amazing operations and planning team to EVERY trip director or counselor we came across. Everyone is amazing. The trips are SOOOO well organized, with soooo much happening, the "travelers" get to see so much from every country they visit and get exposed to all aspects of the cultures they visit. The children are always supported and find kindness and understanding, at the same time they are challenged to get out of their comfort zones and push themselves (they even got my "up tight son" to dance and record a K pop video). Special request (dietary or otherwise) are always accommodated. The community service, while diverse is always rewarding. We honestly can't say enough about how great they are .. We are happy to answer any questions. Thank you TFT for creating world class travelers from our boys.

Fantastic experience: My daughter went on the France Switzerland and Italy trip. I feel this trip was a perfect mix of seeing iconic historical places as well as seeing the best nature spots. My daughter preferred the nature activities and fell in love with Switzerland. Parasailing in Switzerland was her favorite. The counselors were great and helped accommodate her picky vegetarian diet. She felt safe but also enjoyed time to explore independently with her new friends she made on the trip. She went alone and left with 3 great new girlfriends she still talks to and will travel with again next summer. If you are a parent considering sending your child I recommend this company but you need to have a mature, adventurous child. It’s an extremely busy and fun trip but your child needs to want see to see all things and be a flexible easy going traveler. Travel for Teens was a great choice for my daughter and she had a blast!

Fantastic experience: Our daughter just returned from the TFT Europe for Older Teens: Florence, Cinque Terre, Switzerland and Paris trip, and she had the time of her life! The travel was very well organized, the excursions were excellent and the communication was superb. Her trip director, Patrick, was an excellent guide and his nightly emails offered lovely insight into what she was experiencing. An example from one of his emails: "As the sun went to sleep and the Eiffel Tower illuminated from steel to gold, the grassy area came to life as well. A certain musician put on an impromptu concert that put all of us into a dancing frenzy. One of the songs had a lyric of "this is going to be the best night of my life." I hope these kids have considerably better nights than this one, but this will rank very highly in their pantheon of special and memorable moments. I took a moment to step back from the music and dancing and just smiled, seeing the youthful exuberance. Not a care in the world. Dancing and singing as a group. In Paris." As a parent, knowing that she having such a wonderful experience in Europe with responsible leaders and new friends, made us feel very confident in our decision to send her on this trip with Travel for Teens. I highly recommend Travel for Teens!

Negative experience: Absolute disaster. The trips are ridiculously expensive, activities are really average, the staff is rigid and not understanding at all. Those people should not work with teenagers.

Fantastic experience: Travel for Teens is awesome. This is the second summer our daughter has taken a trip. I thought it was amazing when Ned and his staff seamlessly shifted a Peru/Ecuador trip mid-trip to Peru/Costa Rica when civil unrest started in Ecuador while the kids were in Peru, but what they pulled off in the last 36 hours was just short of miraculous. Due to bad storms in the northeast, our daughter and one other camper missed meeting the group flight to Thailand by 30 minutes, landing in LAX at 12:30 am PT with missing luggage. Not only did Ned, multiple staff members and their travel agents spring into action when we all realized that the kids were not going to make the flight, they provided us with multiple options to get the kids to join the group as quickly as possible and stayed with us on the phone working it through until we were all comfortable with the plan, which took awhile as we were all very stressed and were making decisions without consulting with our children. Once the kids landed in LAX, Mikey got them and took them to a hotel to sleep and then HE went back to the airport to search for the missing bags which he found within 30 minutes locked up with the airline they were supposed to fly with to Thailand. He then got them on their new flight to Chiang Mai via Dubai and Bangkok. Ned monitored the flights and the kids in a group chat we all had access to and missing only a day and half, the kids joined their trip this morning. I cannot give enough stars to praise Travel for Teens for its attention to detail and out-of-the-box thinking to find a solution, taking care of our children's needs and also making the parents happy and helping us make the right decision for the kids. Our kids can now enjoy their adventures in Thailand and Vietnam with their luggage and some great stories about racing halfway around the world to meet their group after weather at home threatened to derail the trip they had been looking forward to for months. Travel for Teens, you all rock.

Fantastic experience: Still thinking about the wonderful trip to Italy Ned and the team planned for our family. From Rome to Positano to Florence we had a blast. The private tours made it more interesting. We even kept in touch with our Rome tour guide. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: "It's not the problem, it's how the problem is SOLVED that counts!" It's the end of June 2022 and our daughter Vlada is on her way to Peru for her third TFT summer experience. After 10 days, she was then to go to Ecuador for another 11 days. Over the last few weeks, there has been extreme political upheaval in Ecuador. It's very dangerous indeed. As concerned parents, we reached out to Ned from TFT whom we've dealt with for three years now. Ned was very aware of the situation and assured us that they were monitoring the situation daily. We trust Ned. Ecuador is a problem. Pivoting the kids to a different destination at the last minute is a problem. Managing concerns and expectations from multiple families from multiple world locations is a problem. Fast forward to a couple of days prior to departure. Ned informed us that TFT made the (right) decision to cancel Ecuador and like travel magicians, they pulled an alternative Costa Rica adventure out of a hat! We could not be more delighted with the RESPONSIBLE decision TFT made and our daughter could not be more excited about the change in plans. As I wrote, "It's not the problem, it's how the problem is SOLVED that counts." Good job Ned and TFT. Excellent job. A heart-felt thanks.

Fantastic experience: Had the pleasure of a high school trip with my son at the GOW School to Greece with TFT two weeks ago. The TFT guides, ​Emma, Alex, and Amalia, were top notch professionals managing about 30 kids and adults with ease. I would recommend no other service for touring a foreign country! They were full of information, patient, kind, organized, and tons of fun!!! I also left being well fed at some of the best restaurants Athens and Santorini have to offer! They made the experience PERFECT!!!

Negative experience: BUYER BEWARE! They are so unethical and nickel and dime you for EVERYTHING. Go with another company. The VP Ned has zero professionalism. This is a really bad company and the expensive price tag doesn't make the experience better. Keep looking.

Fantastic experience: I went on the Iceland Adventure and Discovery trip. This trip was amazing!!! It was my first trip abroad alone without my family and I absolutely loved it!! TFT handled everything so well and made sure every teen was included. The counselors also made sure everyone was always having fun and that there was always a positive atmosphere. They took care of everything so well, one teen even had his suitcase left in the US by the airline and they made sure that he got his bag as soon as possible. TFT also had all of the best activities and excursions that I wouldn’t have been able to find if I planned the trip myself. I cannot say enough good things about TFT and I can’t wait for my next trip with them this summer!!!

Fantastic experience: I participated in the Europe for Older Teens: Florence, Cinque Terre, Interlaken, and Paris trip. This trip was easily one of the best weeks of my life. The trip is well balanced with sight seeing, shopping, relaxing at the beach, hiking, eating, and more. The staff is amazing! They make the trip extra fun and are great to be around. They really care about everyone on the trip. Every city was different and the trip does a great job of getting to see as much as the city has to offer in a short time. The food is amazing and I got to try different foods unique to each city. I loved that we were able to explore on our own time while the staff was near by and easy to contact if we needed them. I made amazing friends I still talk to and memories I will never forget.

Fantastic experience: I went on the Australia and New Zealand Service trip and it was life changing. I met some amazing people, which I became close with after about a day. I saw some of the most beautiful landscapes that I have ever seen. I visited the place where my favorite movie, The Lord of the Rings, was filmed. I held a koala and went glamping in the outback. I interacted with the locals and most importantly, I ventured out of my comfort zone, which makes for a more interesting adventure. The counselors were amazing and helpful and despite the age difference, no one ran out of things to talk about. TFT allowed me to experience something amazing and at such a young age, I was able to travel to a whole different world.

Fantastic experience: This will be my fourth trip with TFT this year. Last summer I went to China and it was an incredible trip! I was able to care for pandas, climb the Great Wall, and explore the terracotta warriors. It was an amazing itinerary with great people!

Fantastic experience: Thanks to Travel for Teens, I had an amazing summer and I can't wait to have another one this year! I went on this trip without knowing anyone and I left with a group of new friends. We started in Berlin, we saw everything from lush parks to 13th-century churches to beautiful art museums. Then Paris, we climbed so many tourist attractions, Arc de Triumph, Montmartre and of course The Eiffel Tower. There was so much culture in London, from Abbey Road to Harry Potter there is something for everyone! I highly recommend this trip for anyone new to Europe and looking for an interesting trip filled with history, culture and adventure!

Fantastic experience: This past summer (summer 2018) was my second year traveling with Travel For Teens, and my first year as a counselor in training, or CIT. In July, I set off with TFT on Peru Service and Adventure. This was the trip of a lifetime! For 21 days we traveled around the beautiful countryside and immersed ourselves into the rich Incan culture. What I loved about the trip is the equal balance of both the service work and the thrill-seeking. The community service we did for the schools and in the town of Misinay, Peru was one of the most humbling experiences of my life. This portion of the trip is where we got a sense of what life is really like for these people. For a few days, we were a part of the family and community. We were welcomed with open arms and were sent off with the warmest of hugs and heavy hearts. The goodbyes were bittersweet, as we all would miss our host families, but were excited about continuing on our adventure. The other half of the trip was just as inspiring as the first. Being the adrenaline-junky that I am, I was thrilled to go white-water rafting, walk across suspension bridges in the Amazon Rainforest, stand in awe of the beauty of Macchu Picchu, and visit the great floating islands of Lake Titicaca! Everyday was a new adventure and an checkmark off the bucket list! I am so thankful for the opportunity to experience it with TFT, the memories and the friendships that I made will last me a lifetime. Also, for me I had the unique experience of being the CIT for the trip, which gave me insights on what goes on behind the scenes. It was a new level of responsibility that allowed me to bridge the gap between the students and the counselors. I loved this incredible learning experience and it added so much to my trip! Needless to say the trip was an once in a lifetime adventure for me, and Peru now holds a very special place in my heart. All thanks to TFT!

Fantastic experience: This past summer, at fourteen years old, I had the opportunity to travel to Italy with 13 other strangers. In any case, this sounds a bit odd, but I can honestly say now, that this trip was life changing. Every day felt like a new adventure. Our trip leader Hunt kept us in a bit of mystery the whole time, which in hindsight, was the best way to conduct the trip. On our travels, I saw the most once-in-a-lifetime places, including the Vatican, the Colosseum, David’s Statue, and my favorite, the Tuscan town, Montalcino. The views were breathtaking. We did things like riding in a gondola in Venice, and wine tasting in Montalcino, to even swimming in the salty Mediterranean Sea at Cinque Terre. On our own, we even found some secret passage ways to squeeze through and explore little hidden-gem neighborhoods. I took lots of interesting photos. But most importantly, along the way to these amazing places, I met the most amazing friends. We danced in our hotel rooms, and ate breakfast together every morning. There was never a dull moment. I feel like I came back from this trip with a whole different mindset. I was visibly a more energetic and bubbly person. The world seemed a little bit brighter. My counselors had the most positive outlook that I now aspire to possess. Travel For Teens is my gateway to seeing the world, and this trip was well beyond worth it.

Fantastic experience: For the summer of 2018 I traveled with TFT to New Zealand and Australia. It was probably one of the most fun and exhilarating trips I've ever had. I traveled solo and made so many new friends. The counselors were great and I felt safe the entire time. The whole trip was thoroughly planned out, with each excursion being a way to break out of my comfort zone and be adventurous. Every singe day I was so happy and looked forward to seeing the new bits of culture out in the beautiful countries I visited. In New Zealand, I was fortunate enough to go paragliding. The view was spectacular, I felt like I could graze over the mountain tops. The mountains looked like a photo out of a photoshopped post card. I enjoyed every second of the experience. One of the highlights for me wa the service part of the trip. We worked at Sheoak Ridge, a nature reserve in Australia. We built pathways and played with wallabies. It was so much fun and warmed my heart knowing that I was making a difference to the different animals at this reserve. Besides the fun activities during the trip, the people traveling along with me was what really made my trip with TFT so special. There were around 18 people in my travel group and each and everyone person was full of life and shared the same passion as me to travel. The friends I made are long lasting and the experiences we shared is what will bond us forever. I highly recommend traveling with TFT especially to New Zealand and Australia. I felt as if I was living my best life each and everyday. I plan on traveling with them again next year.

Fantastic experience: I went on the Ultimate Europe trip during the summer of 2018 and it totally changed my life. I had a really goo time, and I made some life long friends! The counselors were super awesome and Casey, Joe and Steve are literally the coolest!!

Fantastic experience: I went on Europe for Older Teens: Prague, Croatia, Austria and Slovenia. This trip was the perfect blend of culture, adventure, down time, history, and nature! TFT's greatest strength, in my opinion, is their ability to fill itineraries with something for everyone. Slovenia hadn't really been on my travel radar, and I didn't know much about the country before going. However, after the time we spent there I'm convinced it's one of the most beautiful places in the world! The staff were accommodating and very knowledgable, both about the countries we were in and travel in general. I never felt like a tourist. We always had heightened experiences that I never would have been able to plan myself. TFT has an amazing long standing network of friends and relationships around the globe, strengthened from all of the years they've done these trips. Being a trip for older teens, we had the perfect amount of free time and ability to explore on our own, if we chose to. There were times I forgot I was even on a trip with counselors, as I walked down the streets of Dubrovnik with one or two campers looking for a lunch spot. Activities ranged from exploring Prague's ancient libraries, shopping the streets of Split, and swimming in the beautiful Lake Bled. Even traveling between countries was a treat. The bus ride from Slovenia to Croatia was stunning, with mountains and crystal clear lakes around every corner. Sign up for this trip!! You will love it!!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend traveling through this organization. Fiji was by far the most beautiful place I have ever been to, and the trip made last summer the best summer of my life. I made so many new friends, participated in such rewarding community service activities, and got to see everything Fiji had to offer.

Fantastic experience: I have been on three trips with Travel for Teens and each trip was spectacular! The Travel for Teens staff is awesome, they are quick to respond to any questions and they will support you in any way they can! All of the trip directors and counselors I have had on my trips have been great! My parents love the daily email updates and pictures, they always say it’s like they were on the trip! The trips are very well organized and there was never a moment during my trips where I was board or unhappy. The places we stayed always felt safe and clean and all the activities we did were so much fun! I can’t wait to get to travel with Travel for Teens again!

Fantastic experience: My trip to Australia and New Zealand with Travel for Teens has changed my perspective on traveling, I was not just a tourist when I visited these foreign countries but became extremely immersed in their culture, through experiences such as watching a ritualistic haka in New Zealand to camping in the Australian outback with locals. I felt at home in these countries and not out of place, which sometimes can happen when traveling. We stayed in hostels, not big chain hotels and got to meet so many locals that we could learn a lot from, such as where the best traditional places to eat were and where we should shop or visit if we had any free time (which luckily was not often because we always had some fun activity planned). Overall, I honestly had the time of my life on this trip and it really opened my eyes to truly experiencing different cultures, after I even told my Mom that this trip has showed me that I want-NEED to continue traveling to different parts of the world for the rest of my life.

Fantastic experience: There are so many amazing and breathtaking moments from my Australia and New Zealand trip, we did so much from seeing the Sydney Opera House to paragliding in Queenstown. We immersed ourselves in the culture going to Aboriginal and Maori Hakas and some of us even got to join in. There was also the fulfilling volunteer work where we got to help a nature reserve and feed wallabies while camping in the outback, it allowed us to get away from technology and just experience the amazing nature of Australia. Not only did we have some incredible experiences we met people who we bonded and made unforgettable memories with. We sang karaoke while driving through the Tablelands, played intense games of laser tag, climbed the Sydney Harbor Bridge, played games around a campfire under the stars, and swam under waterfalls together. The counsellors were just as amazing leading us on these adventures and taking care of any of the few problems we had. There were days when things didn’t go to plan, but they made it work. Like how our first day in Australia was meant to be a beach day, but the rain made those plans seem miserable, so the counsellors organized a photo scavenger hunt We explored the city and interacted with locals to help us on our quest for the best photos. Overall, it was an unbelievable trip with unforgettable experiences, culture, volunteer work, and people.
