Negative experience: Changed our policy as we found lower premiums with comparable protection. Received refunds on our existing home and auto but they would not refund our remaining membership. We were only about 2 months into the 12 month membership at the time of cancelation.

Negative experience: Inconsistent billing, never got it right after this whole year. Much more expensive then other than other companies. Plus I have much better coverage now. 7 years and dropped them. Very rude field manager w lots of errors...

Negative experience: I would give a zero if i could.! If you are waiting for a tow truck and the tow truck tells them they are there, they will not send a different service even if the tow truck is NOT there. 90 degree heat,waiting over 5 hours is a Dangerous way to run a business. I do not recommend this service to anyone.!!! And don't believe them if they leave a rebuttal this happened!

Negative experience: Thank you very much AAA for a 556 stealth rate increase on my car insurance. Double thanks for my former agent leaving and not handing off my policy to a new agent. Triple thanks for the agency getting defensive when I dared question a 43% rate increase without notice. Thanks Amy Deruyter for abandoning your agency. Thanks Kim Klug from Eau Claire for being great to get in contact with and defensive. I will be finding the exit as soon as possible. American Automobile Association. You almost made a billion dollars in auto insurance alone last year. Stop preying on regular people. This is greedflation.

Negative experience: My family has been with AAA for more than 50 years. This is my last. I needed a tow in a remote Wisconsin location. Everything about the experience was a disaster. Ultimately, I couldn't get a tow until the next day because AAA only dispatches tow trucks within 20 miles of the incident, and the only company within 20 miles of my incident was unavailable that day. I don't blame the provider. I blame AAA, which once cared first about the welfare of its customers.

Negative experience: This is NOT where you want to go for any type of service, car, travel or anything. They are not like they used to be and the service is terrible. (also no refund if you want to quit.) I would not recommend them at all and sorry that we paid in to them from 1978. Please put towing on your car nsurance and do not use AAA.

Negative experience: Called the office to schedule a vacation trip to Boston. Lady on the other line said she doesn't do trip ticks (even though I went through the whole automated process and selected the correct numbers). Said she'd have someone call me back. Several hours later a person who didn't speak English as a first language called me back but had a difficult time understanding my plan which was very simple. I just wanted to do a few days in Boston, do the freedom trail and a nice restaurant or two. Had to explain this multiple times, they kept getting the dates wrong. Finally I gave up. This used to be a top notch organization, now it seems to be a bunch of housewives bringing in a second income that really don't want to help you. I've been a member since at least 1992 and if this is how I get treated, maybe it's time to reevaluate if I want to be a member or not.

Negative experience: Triple A would be awesome if they actually responded to their service calls around here. In the summer wait times are 4-12 hours or more. In the winter you’re lucky if somebody even picks up your roadside request. I’ve called over 10 times for tows or roadside. They’ve actually showed up to ONE of those calls. Getting them to reimburse for a tow is a pain. Paid a load of money to no get any services. Ending my membership this year.

Fantastic experience: AAA contacted the tow service then sent me a txt informing me the tow truck driver would contact me soon. The driver called me within 10 minutes and told me he would be at my location within 5 minutes!!! and he was. I am a 33 year AAA member and this is the reason why! Where else can you get this kind of service!! Thank you AAA and Chad's Towing!!

Negative experience: I was thinking about signing up for AAA so I went to the website and started to fill out the form. I got to the part where I needed to pay and the website gave me no option to choose a higher level membership to sign up for. Your only option for that apparently is to call them. I left the tab open and went looking for other roadside assistance clubs instead. 15 minutes later, someone from this office called my on the number I put in the form that I hadn't completed to ask me about signing up for a membership. I didn't give permission to call me, and if I wanted to sign up for a membership over the phone I would have called instead of shopping online like I do for everything else. Absolutely unprofessional. No interest in using AAA after that.

Fantastic experience: We’re traveling to Alaska from Naples, FL. We stopped into this AAA to learn about scenic routes we could take to keep us off the interstate. After meeting with Alaa Dridi in Eau Claire, WI he completely set us up for a wonderful trip the way we like to travel (off the beaten path). He also created a return route from Vancouver to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Thank you so much Alaa…..we’re already traveling your suggested route and loving it!

Negative experience: I swear AAA is the worst business in the world. I thought it would be an affordable way to make sure my 3 young adult kids are safe and token care if during an emergency and I have tried to hang in there but this is the 4th time one of them have been left stranded by them. Calling them and waiting for atleast 12 hours each time wile they keep saying someone is on thier way for absolutely no one to show up. Twice left on the highway and once stranded for a whole weekend with a flat tire in Milwaukee where they had to pay for a hotel and wait till Monday to find a mechanic on thier to help them. You can't call AAA about it because customer service will just keep hanging up on you everytime you try after you waited forever to get through to them. Of course I am finally done with them. AAA has cost me a a lot of extra money and headaches and they don't get that one star from me, it was the only way they would let me write a review.

Negative experience: Canceling our membership after 15 + years! This is only the 2nd time we have used the travel department. We are done with your extremely poor service. Our 1st contact for a cruise was January 31st email and 2 phone calls. No response! 3-14-23 another detailed email on what we wanted with an email back from Jasmine stating we would have something in a day or 2. On the 3rd day we called someone else and got our trip booked. Bam just like that. Easy! Would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have to say we had an outstanding experience today at AAA with Wes O’Brien. His customer service skills are truly exceptional. We stopped in for a simple task and walked out boasting about how personable and talented he is. He exuded confidence and likability.

Fantastic experience: Triple a can truly be a life saver. If you have to get a tow chances are it's going to be very expensive especially depending on how far. Having triple a can save you from paying anything depending on what level of membership you choose. Like one option is 4 tows up to a hundred miles and that's just so excellent also they will bring you gas if you run out or unlock your car. It's definitely worth the money for sure .

Negative experience: My agent retired and dropped the ball on my insurance. I was In the middle of a separation and divorce and all the paperwork was being sent to my ex. I was set up for auto renewal so did not pay too much attention too the billing. After I noticed that I wasn’t getting auto drafts they quoted me double the price for my insurance stating the lapse in coverage was the reason. It was their fault. Several times I had asked them to change address and phone number but they never did. I switched to progressive and for the whole year pay less than I did for 3 month. AAA did a terrible job with my transition/divorce and filling the paperwork out on their side. Jerks!

Negative experience: I put my pickup truck in the ditch during a snowstorm at 2:30 in the morning I called AAA expecting that there would be a long wait because of the snowstorm. I was quoted 2 hours for the tow truck. It was 7 hours before a truck got to me. I ended up having to call the tow company directly only to find out that AAA had given the wrong address for my location and had also given the tow company my wrong phone number so when the tow company went to the location given by AAA and no one was there... they couldn't contact me because they had the wrong phone number!

Negative experience: Over 5 hours for a tow truck when I had an entire road blocked and what was dispatched could not handle the job. AAA could not get thru there head that I needed a tow in a timely manner. Epic fail

Fantastic experience: Exactly what you'd expect from AAA, friendly, helpful staff, many free services, lots of travel literature. The building is a little hard to find for folks from out of town Ample parking. Wheel chair accessible .
