Fantastic experience: If you want the best customer service ever ask to speak to Derrick King he is an amazing human being now I will never leave triple AAA insurance

Negative experience: TripTik is a valuable resource when taking trips to places you've never been before. While in Orland Park I asked for a TripTik to Kansas City, and then Southern California. The receptionist seemed very distracted, and quite bothered by my request. In less than 2 minutes she produced a TripTik that would, if I followed it, put me on a stretch of road, (not and Interstate Highway) that was over 300 miles without gas, food or lodging. And knowing that, I can presume no cell phone coverage was available either. It's a good thing I checked the route before I left, or my family would have been stuck in high temperatures, out of gas, and probably no phone. I have tied to inform AAA of what happened, and have been stonewalled, even escalating the problem to management, and they don't seem to care. This was over a month ago.

Negative experience: This specific location sucks, they rarely pick up the phone and when they do they’re rude. To make matters worse they’re constantly messing up my policy and my payments. To say they suck is an understatement.

Fantastic experience: We are long-term AAA customers. In all instances throughout the years, AAA has always had our needs & interests in mind. From premium auto insurance to a variety of activities & multiplicity of discounts, AAA has us covered. If you happen to need coverage, this location will meet your needs & provide a tailored insurance package for you. All staff & agents in this office are available, competent representatives. Lisa happened to be ours & we couldn't be more pleased. Call or, better yet, stop by, you won't regret it.

Negative experience: John Lesniak retired and I was never informed. He never finished up with my home insurance and never returned phone calls or emails while I was with him. Clown show

Negative experience: Would leave zero stars if I could. I have had insurance thru AAA ( John Lesniak, agent) for over 15 years. I used to recommend it to everyone. Can't do it anymore, requests for clarification of policies were not responded to; invoices of my son's policies were sent to me; cancellation of my son's auto insurance was done because he never received a bill; lastly my boat insurance policy was changed without contacting me. This last one, wore my patience out. No personal service like a phone call or verification of the process, Find a different company for insurance.

Negative experience: I have been with AAA since 2007. Never had a bad experience until recently. John, one of their agents, was really good but now he won’t even answer email or calls. The facility manager never called me back. I just needed a quote to add solar panels to our insurance. But nobody wants to be neglected.

Negative experience: My car insured went up a couple hundred dollars within a matter of 6 months. No claims and I have a great driving record. I was hesitant to renew with this office but decided to change from paid in full to monthly. About 2 weeks after renewing my auto insurance I was getting a home owners quote with another agent in a different office, which I then find out that although I have renewed my auto insurance AND paid the 1st installment, my insurance was cancelled. The home owners insurance agent was so perplexed he immediately called the branch to speak with the manager who did not immediately return his call. He called to take of 4 times to this branch before getting Sarah. Valarie then calls me and says it should be taken care of by the end of the day. I never received another call saying it was corrected. Moving forward, today I go online to the mobile app where it shows I am still without insurance. Naturally, I call Valeria who had the nerve to raise her voice saying she’s done everything she could possibly do and all we can do is wait til the “higher ups” get to it. I remind her that I am driving with no insurance and that that alone is illegal although I made my payment. All she offered was excuses. I would not recommend this branch in fact, they need revamping. My next call is to corporate and then my attorney if this is not resolved expediently.

Fantastic experience: Driving down I57 and it was a piece of hard plastic in the middle of the road, I tried to swerve pass it but it hit my front driver tire and it immediately caused a flat. I called AAA and within 10 minutes they was there to help me change the tire due to a stripped lug nut and I was able to get the tire replaced. Great service, fast worker, and efficient time management.

Negative experience: We came in with a question. There was nobody at the front desk, and after waiting a few minutes we heard someone say, "What do you mean someone is here?" When we asked our question and sought advice, it was quickly clear that people were not listening and really weren't interested in doing so. We knew our situation is odd, that's part of the reason why we sought travel advice from people know travel. But we were obviously outside their accustomed box. Their only proposed solution was to get back into the boxes everyone else is in. Beyond that, nothing. They were not interested. And as we left, the person who had come to sit at the front left for the back. The front desk was once again empty. Walk-ins are apparently not a thing. I love AAA and have used their travel services before. We did not book through them this time, and maybe this office resents that. But we are *members*, and that should count for something. Now I doubt that we will book with them in the future, and that's a shame.

Fantastic experience: From July 8th to August 6th of 2023, I went on my first trip to Europe. David Muldowney, a superb travel advisor from the Orland Park AAA office, helped me to make the trip a lifetime experience. After getting several Viking fliers through the years, and recently retiring, it was time to see Europe. I originally signed up with Viking directly for a 15 DAY Grand European Cruise. After talking to David on the phone, the trip was transferred to AAA. With David’s help, and a nominal surcharge ($300), we were able to add extensions both before and after the cruise with Viking flying me to Paris 9 days prior to my river cruise departure and after the cruise flying me from Budapest to Rome and then home 6 days later. David helped me in planning these itineraries in accommodations, restaurants, and sights to see. He has had personal experience in the areas that were visited, which let me make the most of my adventure. Three days in Paris, one day in Brussels, one day in Bruges, and 3 additional days in Amsterdam were planned. After the cruise, we added Rome for three days and Florence for 2 days. David reserved hotels and necessary rail connections between the stops. For each city he presented several accommodations to choose from while explaining the advantages of each area. Wherever possible he obtained high speed rail connections. David and I had three personal meetings covering his experiences in the locations. He also sent numerous source articles presenting entertainment, restaurants, bars, and sights of each area. With the help of David Muldowney and using the Rick Steves travel books I experienced a trip I will never forget. I recommend contacting David for all of your travel needs.

Negative experience: I've been an AAA member for 3 year 4 people on my account. Never had an issue with them until Dec. 10, 2022 . My starter went out on my car so i contacted AAA to have it towed to the shop. I requested a flat bed tow truck because i have an all wheel drive. The tow truck driver damaged my transmission by pulling it on and off the flat bed truck. When put in a complaint with Triple A they tells me someone will contact me within 48hrs. Which they didn't, it took 2half weeks to hear from someone after i constantly called every other day. Once i did get an adjuster he calls me leaving a voicemail telling he has a resolution to my damage. When i call him back i gets a recording me he was out on medical leave and didn't know when he will be back. Now i'm back to constantly calling every other day for someone to contact me. So very unprofessional & disrespecting on all levels. I don't advise anyone to go with Triple A unless you have money to just give away.

Fantastic experience: I hope this is the correct branch, a driver named Travis helped me this morning get my car started (Palos Heights). The whole morning was a nightmare and he took his time, he was kind and friendly and definitely put me at ease. He called me to let me know he was on his way, and even said hed wait for me to get there and told me to drive safe. He walked through a few things and made sure I was good to go before letting me drive away. Even called afterwards to make sure the car felt ok and had no warning lights. This world needs more Travis' in it. I hope this gets to the right person, I'd really like Travis to be recognized for what he did for me this morning.

Fantastic experience: I called AAA because my car battery died yesterday. They sent a tow truck who actually changed out my battery for me. I was offered a jump start so I could drive somewhere else to get a new battery or they could change out my battery right there in the parking lot. This is such a good service that they offer. We also use AAA for travel plans and have always had great results. I would highly recommend AAA.

Positive experience: Very helpful and friendly! Clean and organized . Great price for passport photos, the cheapest I've found around, even if you are not a member. Easy to get the info you need to plan a trip or many if you cant decide. Love the tour guide books. They really come in handy when you are going places. The receptionist was super friendly and helpful!
