Fantastic experience: From the moment my friend and I walked in, Frederick was phenomenal! He greeted us warmly and immediately made us feel chill. What really stood out was how honest and informative he was. He mentioned the various promotions, like the AAA credit card and membership, but never once pressured us. He simply gave us the facts and let us decide. After helping us get our international driving permits, he even shared some helpful travel tips and tricks that we’ll definitely use on our upcoming trip to Poland. The amenities at this location were also a pleasant surprise! There was cold bottled water (not room temperature!), as well as coffee and tea. The space was quiet, relaxed, and had a calm, welcoming vibe. Just think everything you will never see or receive from the DMV, respectfully. From start to finish, the whole process including having our photos taken took less than 15 minutes. The pricing was reasonable, and the convenience made it even better! If you’re looking for great service, efficiency, and a stress-free experience (I mean this to the moon and back) the AAA located on Essington is where it’s at and Frederick is an exceptional human! Highly recommend

Negative experience: I’ve been with AAA for years and just wanted to add onto my policy and Tim whoever was definitely not interested in helping it was like I was an inconvenience to his afternoon and down talked me to hurry me off the phone. Apparently they don’t need anymore policies they seemed overwhelmed. Joliet is the only location that has lazy uninterested people working there.

Negative experience: Unequivocally the worst service I've received in trying to deal with insurance...I made a grave mistake coming here and working on taking my business elsewhere...

Fantastic experience: The employees have always been great every time we have been here. We used the financial services for assistance with investing for our future. Tyler R. was the one we dealt with. He was very personable, patient, and knowledgeable. He went out of his way to help us. Even offering to come in on his day off for us. We are older and asked a lot of questions and he was great with answering them all so we understood. We highly recommend working with him if you need financial assistance.

Fantastic experience: AAA has awesome services. They came out and checked my battery and got my car to start. I was able to reluctantly drive it to Hawk Cheverlot. AAA is one of my greatest investments. Everyone should have a AAA membership.

Negative experience: I was very happy and excited to get my insurance coverage through AAA Agent Alex Guerrero was great when getting policy together. Unfortunately after 4 months my policy changed to $50 more I called and they had no idea that my policy would change due to my previous coverage. I understand things happen, but unfortunately they had no solutions to my monthly charge change. When I got quoted the 1st time they did not make me aware that my monthly could change. I turn in all the documentation they requested so I could keep that original quote. This was not a pleasant surprise and unfortunately no options for a different solution.

Negative experience: I’ve been a customer for 30+ years and today I received A letter that I wouldn’t be eligible to renew. I have 6 remaining tows available on my account and couldn’t get an explanation of why my account won’t renew. I guess if you purchase the service and don’t use it , you are ideal to renew. They are looking for members but don’t won’t to provide service. You have a limit and in 30 years , I’ve had 6 road service calls. Pathetic way of doing business

Negative experience: I used them 2 times this summer for tows and waited for 2 to 4 hours. I was told that I was going to get a call in 15 to 20 minutes... total lie. I waited an hour both times before calling AAA back. I was told that they had someone coming but then find out my request was put in limbo because they switched breaks. The other time I called at 10am and they said someone should be there in 30 minutes. The guy did not communicate or answer dispatch 6x! I requested for someone new and got the same towing person ! It took me 4 people until I got.someone to get me a new tow guy. Then he canceled because it started raining for 5 minutes... really? They said they couldn't in the rain. What?? It was finally 130 and a tow guy came right away! Shout out to Jose in Chicago land area

Negative experience: So upsetting sitting on highway ran out of gas no trouble call AAA …..was told 20 mins ok not bad….gave them my card number for gas then an hour later call the guy wondering where you are, he said I stop to help change a tire on my way WHAT not ok not waiting 20 min at least he said he was 20 mins away if there nothing else that stops him!!!
