Negative experience: Absolutely terrible. You are charged $40 to listen to a presentation for 90 minutes where they try to offer you a membership for thousands of dollars andis what I would consider similar to a timeshare. You are promised a free trip in return for sitting through the presentation as well as your money back. You get neither. The trip is through multiple third party vendors that are hard to get a hold of and have all kinds of hidden fees they charge you. Not to mention all of the hoops they have you jump through. Safe your self the headache and the trouble. Groupon and travel zoo have way better deals and are not scammers.

Fantastic experience: I want to update my original review. The genuine concern Steve had for my situation getting it situated efficiently and extremely quickly is outstanding!

Fantastic experience: They make it possible to travel and the reps are so informative for all the questions we had. It's a lot of information to take in, but the math 'maths'. It really makes family time possible. So excited to vacation!

Negative experience: They are scammers! Told me I won a free trip, I did the webinar, and mailed in my voucher. Never heard anything after that, its been a few months. They had no problem taking my $40.

Fantastic experience: Going into the webinar, I was skeptical even though I'd been told Grand Destination Vacations was not a timeshare. Wow, I was pleasantly surprised! Our host, Dan, was great - upfront and promising no-pressure experience...and he delivered just that. For those who love to travel, GDV has a great program and you can definitely save money. I am glad I attended and plan to refer friends and family who I know will benefit from the program.

The membership seems very affordable and ideal for someone like us who enjoy taking 1-2 vacations per year, however the timing just isn’t right for us at this time. As promised we were sent our vacation voucher for attending the webinar. When the time is right we will definitely revisit. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: My wife and I had a really positive experience learning about the company and their vacation packages at their booth at the California State Fair. We signed up to learn even more about it through one of their Zoom webinars and was really impressed by the vacation packages that they offered and the affordability of the vacation club.

Fantastic experience: At first, I thought this would be just another timeshare, very expensive and just overall not feasible for our family. After listening to the extremely detailed presentation from Dan, one of the members and representatives of Grand Destination Vacations, I was thoroughly impressed with the company and what they stand for and definitely impressed with the different options as far as joining. The prices for membership were extremely reasonable and I like that there was an option to join at a later time. I also like how there was no pressure once we did decline to join at this time. My husband and I did not feel pressured after giving our answer! For now, while this is not something we are able to do, Grand Destination Vacations still made good on their bonuses just for listening to the presentation! We promptly received our gifts and the company has wonderful customer service, communication, and very detailed explanations on how to redeem our gifts! I also love how easy to use their website is for booking! Everything is in one place!

Negative experience: They are scam. We attended their presentation but they don't refund $20 per person after attending presentation and they don't give the cheap travel they promised. They will try to convince you during presentation with classical timeshare tactics. Exaggerating their services which you will never able to book and offering big discounts if you buy at the time of presentation.

Negative experience: Would not recommend. Trying to get your $20 back and get the free trip you were promised is near impossible. Ends up being a reimbursement after 3 different mailings with hard deadlines. Company urges you to write a 5 star review for an additional free vacation stay somewhere.

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a wholesale vacation club, then GDV is the way to go. They give you so many options in so many locations throughout the world. They offer everything a normal travel website like Expedia or Travelocity would offer at a lower price but being part the of the club offers exclusive deals at locations everywhere. If you find a place that's not on their list, you can always request to have it added and they have 90+% success rate of doing so. All in all, if you like taking long vacations, then GDV is the way to go.

Fantastic experience: If you love to make memories with your loved ones, this opportunity was too good to pass up. With multiple levels of buy in everyone has an opportunity to enjoy some vacations at their own budget level and not feel pressured. Dan was amazing and engaging in the zoom presentation So many beautiful places to see

We spent two hours learning about the opportunity and didn’t feel like we’d been there that long at all. Our Webinar leader was gracious, patient and kind. While never giving up on the sales pitch, he was never pushy or rude. Maybe in the future we can commit to something more.

However, by the the time it was over Eddie couldn’t stop asking questions. I, Donna really appreciate how thoughtful and understanding Dan was . He was patient with me and Eddie and did his best without forcing anything on us. Dan, you are the greatest.

Positive experience: My wife and I decided to join GDV club a year ago and we recently used the club to reserve a hotel room in Palo Alto. Our plans changed and we cancelled our hotel reservation within the time frame specified on the reservation. After various calls to the hotel and GDV customer support, we were told that we could not cancel the reservation. I called our salesman, Virgil. I have to applaud Virgil's response. Virgil jumped in and started to help us! Over several weeks Virgil kept up the communication with us and held strong on our position and was helping us in every way. His support was OUTSTANDING! His actions showed his true character and the character doing business with GDV. Thanks Virgil!!!
