Fantastic experience: We are so thankful to Michele from Custom Travel for planning the honeymoon of our dreams! She helped us coordinate an incredible cruise to Italy, Greece, and France — taking care of everything from the cruise itself to our tours and transportation at each stop. Michele made the entire process completely stress-free and worked within our budget while still making sure we got to do everything we wanted. Thanks to her, every detail was taken care of, and we were able to just relax and enjoy the trip. We couldn't have asked for a better travel experience!

Positive experience: We worked with Veronica and Kyle from Custom Travel early on to get the process started for our destination wedding, and it was an excellent experience overall. From the start, we were impressed with how quickly they provided options, pricing, and ways to connect our vision with the needs of our guests. The variety and overall planning experience were phenomenal. Veronica is extremely knowledgeable and has years of experience—exactly the expertise you want when planning a destination wedding. At times, as a couple navigating all the details and trying to visualize the guest experience, we did find her a bit impatient. Her direct communication style caught us off guard at first. For example, when we wanted to explore options at another resort for comparison, we were told, “This is a lot of work to be changing your minds around.” That rubbed us the wrong way initially, but we quickly realized this was actually a good thing. It showed that she is thorough and won’t allow anything to slip through the cracks—a quality you want for handling travel arrangements. Once we adjusted to the process, everything ran smoothly. Rooms, flights, and all other arrangements were handled perfectly. Veronica and Kyle maintained great communication, stayed on top of deadlines, and supported us throughout the invoicing process. We couldn’t have asked for a better team, and we would absolutely work with them again in a heartbeat.

Fantastic experience: Worked with Michele at Custom Travel and I can not say enough wonderful things about our experience. Me, my husband and our two adult sons traveled to Rome, Positano and Capri. We had never been to Italy and so these dream destinations were daunting to navigate on our own. Michele was a referral from a friend, and I am thrilled to have taken her advice. Fantastic experience: Michele Olerud at Custom Travel is a travel genius! It exceeded all expectations! Michele knows how to find the perfect places and experiences for every client. I travelled to Costa Rica with two teenage sons and Michele made sure they had their adventure thrills while got my relaxation and waves! Our accommodations (Margaritaville Beach Resort and Hotel Arenal Lodge) were a combination of fun, luxury and once-in-a-lifetime memories. The staff in each location were warm and welcoming, taking care of every detail. The transportation from the beach location to the volcano was seamless and our drivers were gracious and generous, stopping for delicious snacks and sights along the way, and pointing out wildlife on the way! This was my first vacation with Michele/Custom Travel, and easily the best vacation of my life! I highly recommend Custom Travel to design your perfect vacation!

Fantastic experience: I've used Custom Travel for a few trips. A number of years ago, Veronica helped plan a girls trip to Cancun. She found us a wonderful all-inclusive resort and arranged our transportation. She also helped us schedule some fun activities. We had a blast! Last year, Veronica helped plan a honeymoon in Aruba for my husband and me. The resort was breathtaking! She also gave us a bunch of recommendations for excursions. Fantastic experience: Custom Travel is the BEST travel agency ever!! Veronica guided us through planning a once in a lifetime special family vacation a year and a half in advance! We were not an easy case, but Custom Travel succeeded in every way! Then three days before the vacation was to begin we had a medical emergency and one of our children needed to be hospitalized. Veronica and Kyle swiftly jumped into action to contact the airlines in order for us to get a full refund in the nick of time. During these moments of fear and trauma, Veronica was caring and handled initiating the incredible travel insurance she recommended we get at the time of booking the trip. Fantastic experience: An Unforgettable Italian Journey with Custom Travel We’ve just returned from an incredible 10-day adventure through Italy, and it was all made possible by Kyle at Custom Travel. From start to finish, every aspect of the trip was thoughtfully curated and flawlessly executed. Fantastic experience: We are on the flight home from an amazing vacation that was planned and arranged by Custom Travel. Veronica took care of all the details. We went to Punta Cana and they were very detail oriented, including transfers to and from the airport on both ends. We started our trip planning on our own, but quickly got overwhelmed. Veronica made several suggestions, gave us the pros and cons of each and we landed on the Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana. I can say without a doubt that she hit it out of the park. She arranged for meals, travel, and transfers. As the trip approached, she reminded us about all the immigration items we had to fill out. As soon as the car arrived to pick us up, we didn't have any hiccups or problems. If you're planning a vacation byy yourself, STOP, call Veronica and let her take care of all the details. You won't be sorry. And you'll have the best vacation of your life. We did.

Fantastic experience: I have always found them to be helpful and informative. They have been very prompt in arranging my trips and provided me with all the information I needed.

Negative experience: I spoke to a man named Kyle that didn’t seem much informed, although he said he was the “manager”. He started the conversation off by mentioning the prices of hotels in Saint Barthélemy start at $1,000, which is not even true. It seemed like he did this in hopes of turning me away. I then asked him about another destination that he didn’t have much to say about other than it was “cheaper” but still provided me with no help before ending the call. Regardless, he had a rude demeanor. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to do business with this company, it’s clear customer service is not a priority. Kyle made it seem as if this company caters to a certain clientele and I feel as if he tried to judge me over the phone.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I worked with Kyle to plan our honeymoon, and it was the best decision we made about the trip. He was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, finding us an amazing trip to Kauai with fun activities to do while there. He also had great food recommendations for us. It was truly a life changing trip, and we look forward to planning a trip like this with Kyle again.

Fantastic experience: We cannot say enough good things about Custom Travel!! Veronica planned the most amazing 10 day Hawaii Honeymoon for us and it was nothing short of perfection. From the moment we started working with Veronica, she was extremely professional, knowledgeable, trustworthy, and responsive. We had never been to Hawaii before so we did not know where to even begin but Veronica helped us throughout the entire process. We spent 2 nights in Oahu, 3 nights in Kauai, and 4 nights in Maui. Fantastic experience: Kate- From the bottom of our hearts… thank you for helping us with this amazing and memorable family vacation. Your patience and knowledge is commendable. You always had the answer to ease our nerves about any questions or worries we had. You never made me feel like I was being annoying! The resort was amazing. The grounds were stunning. The staff was exceptional. The food was great. If you have people in the future ask about this resort I would say it it perfect for families. Everyday they had activities for the kids pool side. They ranged from volleyball to ballon toss games to hat painting to bracelet making. In the evenings, there was a family show of some sort around 8pm. We really loved the pirate performance. But I think our core memory was the foam party they did in the kid pool one late afternoon. Although the restaurants were good, Bana the Japanese spot was our favorite and we ate there twice. The poolside bar, Celsius, was great for lunch! I was worried that were didn’t do the Family Concierge because I didn’t know how to tell Delanney “We can’t do that” but the restricted pool and restaurant were hidden and you didn’t have to walk past or see it to know you were missing it. I would also say to families that the swim up rooms would be cool for like the first dip in but after that totally not needed. They just bring you into the same pool the resort uses so it’s more of an access thing than your own pool. I’d be happy to anweerr any questions people might ask you if ever needed. Fantastic experience: We’ve utilized Custom Travel’s services twice now – for our honeymoon to the Maldives and, more recently, for a trip to Spain. I found Custom Travel through an online search and chose them due to the great reviews they had. I had never used a travel agent before because I was under the misconception about it being expensive. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I learned that there wouldn’t be any additional fees to utilize a travel agent with them. We worked with Kyle Kastukevich both times and we couldn’t be happier. Most of the communication with Kyle was done via email, which was perfect for my husband and my busy work schedules. There were a few times when we needed to schedule a phone call, and Kyle was very flexible on timing (after normal business hours), which was much appreciated. We provided Kyle with location, time frame, trip duration, and budget for each of our desired vacations. With this basic information, he was able to provide lodging options, excursions/activities, local restaurants, private transport, etc. He was also very quick to pivot based on any of our feedback/preferences. Before each of our trips, he mailed us travel documents, which came in handy on our vacations as it helped us keep track of our itinerary and confirmations for flights and private transport. Kyle’s recommendations never steered us wrong and we were so grateful to have had his guidance on our trips. He was also very patient with all of my questions and I had a lot! The resorts/lodging, alongside private transfers, he had selected for us were top-notch and didn’t come up on any searches I would have found on my own. Fantastic experience: Fabulous!!! I cannot find enough great words to describe what a help Michele Olerud from Custom Travel Services was! Michele planned our trip to Hawaii in short notice and with everything we asked for! We are used to planning our own trips but Hawaii seemed overwhelming to me with the island to island flights and no idea what to expect on any of the islands. She booked our flights, set us up in beautiful resorts, with rental cars, island hopper flights, a large list of excursions and activities and booked all of our chosen excursions. Fantastic experience: My husband & I reached out to Kate from Custom Travel about our honeymoon idea for Italy & Greece. She went above & beyond to plan us the most perfect honeymoon. We wanted to see a lot in 17 days and she made that possible. She booked us hotels in 7 different cities, all of our trains/planes/transportation to and from airports. I'm a high school teacher so it was stressful to think about setting aside time to look at flights and resorts admist lesson planning and grading, but with Veronica and her team at Custom Travel, I was able to get through the school year without any unnecessary stress about our trip. It helps that Veronica has traveled the world and was able to give experienced insights about our destination (best time of year to go, activities the area is known for, interacting with the local communities, etc.). Fantastic experience: My wife and I had the honeymoon of a lifetime all thanks to Veronica. She made everything ridiculously easy from start to finish. I called her saying the the main thing we wanted was to stay in an over water bure, and she suggested a resort in Fiji that she was familiar with, and just like that, we were on our way! Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Custom Travel enough, specifically my travel agent Kate Germond. I’ve been using Kate as my travel agent for about 4 years. I recently vacationed in the Rivera Maya and unfortunately contracted Covid. Well this was definitely stressful Kate helped change my flight multiple times. This was such a stress relief, I felt bad because I knew the call time had such a long queue. Kate was there for me and even contacted the resort while I was in quarantine to make sure I was being taken care of. I cannot recommend her services enough. Although we’ve never had the pleasure of meeting in person I feel like we both know each other so well. I will continue to utilize custom travel for all of my future travel plans.

Fantastic experience: Custom travel helped make our honeymoon an absolute dream. We planned an extensive 2 week European honeymoon pre Covid and Kyle created an incredible itinerary including hotels, rides, activities, and helping with flights. When we had to postpone, he was there every step of the way. When we were ready to replan, Kyle again wowed us by pivoting and helped us plan an amazing Costa Rican honeymoon. All of our hotels, activities, and transportations were ready for us. Kyle also provided us with a pamphlet that included Covid restrictions and what we needed for testing. The whole team made traveling an amazing and relaxing experience.

Fantastic experience: We booked our Hawaii honeymoon for Sept/Oct 2021 with Custom Travel. I have never used a travel agent before and I am so glad I found them! Kyle did an awesome job booking our flights, inter-island flights, 3 rental cars, and 3 amazing hotels for us. It was so nice to have all the hard parts done already, and when we were on our trip everything was seamless and stress free. On top of that, our original honeymoon was postponed from 2020, and Kyle made changing our dates to the 2021 a breeze. Kyle did a great job guiding us through the covid precautions that Hawaii has in place currently, and was super responsive to all of our questions throughout the planning process. I would absolutely recommend Custom Travel to anyone who wants to book a fabulous vacation, I will certainly be a returning customer!

Due to Covid, we had to change our honeymoon multiple times and to a new location due to travel restrictions, and Kyle could not have made the changes any easier for us. Fantastic experience: My husband and I had never used a travel agent to book a trip before, so we were not sure what to expect. Right away, Kyle was amazing and a huge help in planning our Hawaiian honeymoon. I won’t review Antigua too much because I want this review to express how AMAZING Veronica and the Custom Travel team were above all else. Antigua was simply gorgeous and Veronica helped us pick the perfect resort and excursions to make our honeymoon like something from out of a Hollywood movie. With COVID-19 causing all sorts of issues Veronica helped us move our flights and dates with no issues which is the understated benefit of having a travel team going to bat for you. I cannot imagine dealing with all the changes that they did with such flawless perfection. The best piece of advice they had for us and that we recommend for anyone traveling is TO GET TRAVEL INSURANCE! Veronica helped set that up in moments and allowed us rest assured that if anything were to go wrong we had protection. Get the insurance! All in all Veronica and the team could not have made things any easier; it took all the stress away from planning a big trip so that we could ultimately just enjoy the trip! Fantastic experience: Kyle was a pleasure to work with. My wife and I have been working with him for a few years now. We booked our most recent trip back in November of 2019 to go to Antigua in March of 2020 (yes, right in the middle of the shut down). Well, 4 rescheduled trips later we finally made it to our destination in October of 2020. If it wasn’t for Kyle guiding us every step of the way there’s no way we would have made it. Fantastic experience: My now husband and I met Custom Travel through our wedding venue. They are very friendly, responsive, and explain everything you need to know in great detail. I’ve never used a travel agent before and after using them I would 100% use them again and recommend! We booked our honeymoon through Brianna. She is very helpful and suggested many locations based on what we were looking for - type of vacation, travel distance, cost, Etc. Unfortunately due to covid and also finding out we are welcoming a baby boy early 2021 :) we decided to not reschedule our trip but to cancel all together. We plan to rebook when things settle. Brianna explained the differences between postponing and cancelling, made the process super easy, and did everything for us. We paid a small fee for custom travel’s time, but got a full refund for the resort deposit and full refund of our flights. We are very happy with their services and can’t wait to book our trip for the future.

Fantastic experience: We were able to go on our dream honeymoon (even during the pandemic) thanks to custom travel. We worked with Brianna and she was so responsive and dealt with all of the correspondence between our resort and airline company when our flight was cancelled TWICE. We couldn’t have had the honeymoon we did without her. Book custom travel for any of your travel needs – you won’t regret it!

Negative experience: I booked with custom travel for our honeymoon then Covid hit causing us to reschedule to FL well then Covid got worse and we then decided to change again to PA. Unfortunately custom travel only had 2 hotel options we did not receive any guidance on what we could do here I was told to “ask the hotel” and here we are on our honeymoon with all attractions an hour drive from our hotel. We were also charged $600 in fees for switching and when I asked why the agent told me “well it’s not coming out of your pocket you had the money in your honeymoon fund”.... that’s still my pocket! I don’t think my family/friends wanted their gifts to go to fees. I’m extremely disappointed I understand Covid affected everyone but guidance from our travel agent would be nice. We decided to cut our honeymoon short.

Fantastic experience: Olivia at Custom Travel is an angel in disguise. From the moment I met her to planning our destination wedding to the welcome home email I received, she is the absolute best. My husband and I were unsure if we wanted to go to an all inclusive resort or do a cruise. We reached out to Olivia and she was very helpful in helping us decide. She tended to all questions and concerns and always did it with a smile. The entire experience was flawless and when we arrived in DR, the process was smooth. She handled everything and then some. This was extremely helpful to my husband and me. We ended up going to Punta Cana, DR with a group of 24 people. We stayed for 9 days for our wedding and honeymoon at the Royalton Punta Cana Resort and Casino. This was the most beautiful location and the staff was amazing. We were upgraded to a swim out presidential suite due to Olivia's request and were treated like royalty. All of our guests have said this was the best vacation and wedding they have been to. Olivia was the mastermind to it all and we can't thank her enough for all of her help and support with getting us all there. We will definitely be booking through Custom Travel with Olivia again! We booked our destination wedding to mexico with 50+ guests with them, our honeymoon to Bora Bora, and just recently our anniversary trip to Exuma!!! Veronica is a magician and just makes it happen- we've had issues at the airport- like when Bradley airport lost power and flights were cancelled- one phone call later- she re-booked all our flights, got the resort to let us stay an extra day- oh , and when we arrived got us a room upgrade! But besides being incredibly efficient and hard-working, she genuinely cares! She wants her customers to be informed about where they are going, know the best excursions/things to do, and any hiccup along the way she will take care of! Using custom travel eliminates ALL THE STRESS that comes along with planning a trip and traveling. Again, my husband and I couldn't be happier! Fantastic experience: Custom Travel is all that you could want in a travel agency. Veronica was great in working with me for a family trip to Kauai. I thought that a local Hawaii travel agency would provide more insight. And that a large multi-state agency could offer more choices. Boy was I wrong about Hawaii Aloha and Liberty. One didn't follow up and the other never got back to me. Custom Travel helped me with all my questions. Listened to me through several mind changes. And never pressured me. I recommend them highly.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I just got back from the most amazing 5 week Europe trip of a lifetime thanks to Kate! We gave her a list of cities we wanted to visit and she made our itinerary and booked our hotels and transportation (hotels were all in great locations). Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Custom Travel if you’re planning any trip. Veronica was amazing to work with! I had an idea of where I wanted to go (Curaçao) but had no idea about the logistics of traveling outside the country since it was my first time. Veronica walked me through every detail necessary to make sure our trip was perfect, and it was! She was extremely patient and asked a lot of questions to determine what type of trip was right for us. We decided on an all-inclusive resort and a direct flight out of JFK. She booked the plane tickets, the resort, the transportation to and from the airport and even suggested upgrading to VIP at the resort (which turned out to be well worth it since we had our own private area at the resort as well as other perks). When she gave me our travel plans, every important detail was highlighted and she walked me through step by step what I would need to do (customs, finding our transport, etc.) Not only was Veronica patient in planning our trip, she was also patient with my never ending email questions before our departure. She was always quick to respond in a friendly and informative way that made our trip so much less stressful. Next time I plan to travel, Custom Travel will be my first call!

Fantastic experience: We love Custom Travel! My husband and I booked our honeymoon to St Lucia with Veronica and it couldn't have been more perfect. She took care of everything for us so we all had to do was show up, relax and have fun! So then we had an opportunity to go on a last minute vacation about a year later and used Custom Travel again. We told them the area we wanted to visit and Veronica and Kyle ended up making recommendations of places to see. We trusted them to select and book all the hotels, and rental car for us using their judgment. We loved every place that we stayed and visited and it was way better than if we had tried to plan it ourselves. For example, the recommendation they made to visit Zion National Park in Utah was perfect for us and we are now trusting them with all of our future vacations! It's also important to note we only had 5 days to plan the vacation and Custom Travel did everything within 2 days. Amazing!

Fantastic experience: My family and I just got back from a wonderful family vacation to Beaches Negril thanks to Veronica!! This was a family vacation long over due. Veronica and Sandy were great!! They made the booking process a breeze. They were always there to answer all of our silly questions. Once in Negril we had an issue but all it took was one call to Veronica and with her quick correspondence with the hotel manager the issue was resolved quickly and we were able to enjoy our vacation. If that wasn't enough Veronica was on the phone with the hotel manager daily to make sure we were taken care of!! Fantastic experience: I recently planned a destination wedding (cruise) through Custom Travel. I first met Veronica, the owner of Custom Travel, at a Bridal expo in Hartford where she took a substantial amount of time to explain to us what kind of destination wedding services Custom Travel offers, and she immediately found time to meet with us at her office. She is approachable, friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. She handled the reservations of our 24 guests, freeing up our time to plan our wedding. When the cruise line made changes to their prices, Veronica was able to secure us a price reduction twice. She followed both of these changes with letters to each of our guests, detailing the price change and clearly listed the dates by which payments had to be made to the cruise line, even though this created a significant amount of additional work for her and her staff. One of our own guests was particularly difficult, and while Veronica would have been right in responding offensively in return, she handled the situation with professionalism and grace, for which I am extremely grateful to her. Booking online or through a large travel agency may seem like it has its price perks, but few things are more stressful than having to sort out a problem online or going through an automated system to make changes to your reservation. At Custom Travel you are guaranteed to speak with someone directly. I chose to book through a small, local business because I believe in supporting them. Veronica and Custom Travel come highly recommended and I would certainly book vacations or group events through her again.
