Fantastic experience: My husband and I just traveled to the Valencia Marathon with FIT and we had an incredible experience. Booking was very easy and the team communicated with us several times in the months leading up to the race and prior to race weekend. Everything was extremely organized and we had a blast with our group leader and other members of the group - expo, dinner, post race celebration. It was wonderful to travel with people who share our passion for running! Would highly recommend traveling with FIT!

Fantastic experience: My wife and I were faced with several options when choosing a travel company to go to London for the London marathon last month. As a matter of fact, we signed up with another company first, before we learned about team FIT. When reviewing the package and the information, plus other reviews, it was easy for us to decide to move to them. And we quickly realized that it was the right decision, not just because of the communications before the trip -Kelly and her team are very responsive- but also the trip, their support, and how everything was organized was truly spectacular. They do dedicate themselves to make sure everything is just excellent, not only the hotel location and quality, but also the city tour and the events they organized. I strongly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: FIT is an awesome way to do a race. This is the 5th time we have traveled with Kelly and the FIT Team and I wouldn't do it any other way. I just had to worry about getting there and running the race. Everything else is taken care of!

Fantastic experience: Great range of events and a good array of options both before (optional tours and dinners) and after the events if you want an add-on (e.g. Oktoberfest in Munich after the Berlin marathon being just one example). FIT really take care of their clients before, during and after a race - communication is excellent - and the pre-race knowledge imparted before events is invaluable - an immeasurable value add which demonstrates that they have run all of their events at least once before. With FIT you get the personal touch rather than being treated as another client. They have a great team of people on the ground at events as well as in support.

Fantastic experience: The Marine Corps Marathon was a very memorable trip for my wife and I and Fitness International Travel made it flawless for us. Kelly and Aisha were super friendly and organized, and truly love what they’re doing. I would highly recommend Fitness International Travel to anyone. They will take the worries out of the logistics of a new city or race and they want you to take in the sites and enjoy. We are already looking at the next race to book with them!

Fantastic experience: Kelly and her team were excellent! My wife and I were attending the London marathon in support of my daughter. It was our first visit to London. Kelly was very welcoming to us. We felt that we were part of the FIT team, even though we were not running. The activities she planned were very well coordinated. Our hotel's ideal location, within one mile of the finish line and in the heart of London, near Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square, was a perfect starting point. The FIT team's warm welcome in the lobby and their efficient arrangement of transportation to the expo saved me a significant amount of time, allowing me to fully enjoy the rest of the day. Fantastic experience: This was my first time traveling with FIT. I was there as a spectator and not as a marathon runner. I felt like I was truly part of the group. Our accommodations were top shelf! The places we went as part of the tour were amazing. They were responsive if I had travel questions. Kelly was highly organized and we knew exactly where we needed to be and when. Fantastic experience: Where do I begin with explaining how AMAZING FIT is? First and foremost, FIT was recommended to me buy a fellow runner in my community and I am so thankful for that. From the moment I emailed my interest I have been amazed with the FIT team. The communication is clear, concise and always a response within 24 hours (usually more like within 2 hours). Kelly and her team are beyond accommodating from last minute changes to ensuring I was fully prepared for Berlin. They provided me with more details than I could have ever realized I needed. I got email reminders to pack things I didn't even think of. The tour we took was perfect amount of time and sights. The food vendors/restaurants were such a good variety of food offerings. Even after the trip concluded Kelly and her team continue to amaze me. They have provided videos, photos and memories from our trip and checked in to make sure we were satisfied. If I had any concerns or questions they were addressed promptly. There was always someone available during the trip to ensure everything was going smoothly. Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with FIT. It was my first time in London, and I would have been completely lost that morning of the marathon without FIT. The marathon website showed taking the train and transferring, and taking the bus to the start line (so confusing to an out of towner). We all met together that morning and a FIT representative walked us to the train station to take only one train to the start line with no transfers. I will definitely use them again!

Fantastic experience: We traveled with FIT to the London Marathon. This group was so organized and downright enjoyable. Easy going and covered all of the bases. I am always the planner of all things and it was such a treat to turn the reigns over to Kelly and her crew. They crushed it. Fantastic experience: London Marathon 2024 with FIT was my first group tour experience and the best running trip! We had a 4 friends in 2 twin rooms on the premium package. Absolutely the perfect location for getting everywhere we needed to go. Their event guide and in-country guides are available to answer all questions and provide helpful tips on having a memorable event. The FIT cheer sections on course were really important in the moment! We chose FIT over competitor tours, because of their responsiveness. I would definitely travel with them again anywhere.

Fantastic experience: I was nervous about traveling alone to Berlin. Kelly and all the staff at FIT made me feel so comfortable from the time I got there. They even made a point to celebrate my Birthday !! They made everything so easy for me . I highly recommend them to travel with and I will be traveling again with them.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Fitness International Travel! I saw the FIT flag while running the Berlin Marathon several years ago (I was there with a different travel company) and was really impressed that they had people on the course cheering for the runners. They shouted encouraging words to me on the course, and I wasn't even part of their group, and I remember thinking I am going to check them out for my future international marathons, and I couldn't be happier that I did! I have traveled with FIT for both the London and Tokyo marathons. Kelly is professional and personable. She is patient and answers questions and knows what runners need and want in a travel experience. Kelly and her team are fantastic and they take care of all of the details to ensure runners have a stress-free experience. This past March, I traveled to Tokyo with FIT to earn my six-star medal. Unfortunately, I became really sick about half-way through the race, and I was afraid I wasn't going to finish. Kelly saw me on the course and could tell I was in rough shape. She stuck by me throughout the entire second half of the marathon. I will never forget her kindness and words cannot express my gratitude towards Kelly and the entire FIT family!! Five stars isn't enough to give this company and the experience I have had with FIT!!! P.S. Kelly held my medals after the race while I was throwing up because she knew how hard I had worked for them and that is just another example of the extreme dedication that Kelly has for her runners!

Fantastic experience: Just finished the Tokyo trip with Fit International and I can’t believe how well done this trip was. Tokyo is intimidating to get around but the Fit people gave us all the information we needed to get to the race and back. They actually took us on the train route we would take to and from the race. Race morning they led us there. We also so met some very nice people. This was my same experience in London with Fit as well. The hotel was luxurious. Can you believe we were able to take a bath after the marathon? That’s how clean this hotel was. The service was top notch and we had spectacular views of Tokyo from our hotel room and the restaurant. For Berlin, I used a different travel agency with no information on how to get back to the hotel after the race. As a result, I had to walk and extra 5K to get home and was literally in tears with exhaustion. Looking forward to doing more trips with FIT in the future. I wouldn’t use another travel agency at this point as I trust their service.

Fantastic experience: Kelly and the team are the absolute best. You literally just show up and they take care of the rest. Everything was so organized and scheduled specific to the needs of taking care of your body for a marathon. There was a lot of people who brought spectators with them and they were thought of and considered with all the plans as well. The FIT team created such an open and welcoming space to build connection with others. I can't recommend enough - look forward to my next trip!

Fantastic experience: For me and my wife (she is my cheering team), it was a great experience, we didn´t have to worry about getting to the expo on time and without the worry of finding the means to get to the place, finding a restaurant to have the carb dinner the night before or trying to book a restaurant to have the post-race dinner, the tour through the city gave us the chance to see where to go with more time later on. The location of the hotel was perfect and FITs venue desk at the hotel the day of arrival and being received with welcome FIT amenities and a dinner it is appreciated, the value of any valuable experience at the end is on the details. I would highly recommend FIT as a company that will fill up your expectations on a Marathon trip.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I joined Fitness International Travel (FIT) for the 2023 Berlin Marathon. Kelly and her team did such an incredible job in making sure everyone had a great time. Runners and supporters were well looked after and communication before, during, and after the events was consistent and thorough. We were very happy with our decision to join them!

Fantastic experience: We did the Berlin Marathon and Oktoberfest extension with Kelly and the team. And by "we" I mean me, my wife and three sons aged 4, 6 and 8. Kelly really went out of her way to accommodate and include our children in all activities. We were so nervous bringing the kids and were worried that the other adults would get annoyed, but by the end of the trip everyone treated our kids like family. We loved every minute of our trip and cannot wait until our next one with the FIT team.

Fantastic experience: How many times can I write the word AMAZING in this review? I traveled with FIT for the Tokyo 2023 marathon and had the best experience with the FIT crew. The process of signing up was clear and easy. FIT provided valuable information prior to the trip, during and after. Accommodations were top notch. The package also included tours, pre-race dinner, transportation to expo and start, post-race party, etc. FIT is professional, organized and knowledgeable, but even more than that, the FIT crew makes you feel like family. I HIGHLY recommend and plan to return to FIT for my next marathon adventure.

Fantastic experience: I used FIT for the 2023 Tokyo Marathon… and let me tell what an amazing experience from the hotel in Tokyo to the extension at Kyoto . I couldn’t have been more happy with everything.. Kelly and her crew made sure we were all taken care of made sure we all Made it to our corrals with no issue which we did that was a big thing for us runners … i travel alone and wanted to be around other runners while still enjoying the best Japan hassle to offer …the extension to Kyoto is a must it was very well put together and the stress of the marathon was over … I’m so glad i found FIT for this amazing experience i totally recommend them 100% for any marathons/experience you want to do … ps i email her a lot with questions and she always got back to me with answers… a big plus in my book !! Fantastic experience: I joined the trip FIT made to the London Marathon. From the very beginning this was a well-organized, fun excursion. The staff were knowledgeable and professional, and they put together really thoughtful optional activities to enhance the experience. They arranged for Dave McGillivray, the long-time Race Director of the Boston Marathon, to give us an inspirational talk two days before the race, arranged good meals for pre-race carbo-loading, a bus tour of central London, and a pre-race shakeout run. They even put together a yoga class for people so inclined to stretch out before the event. Kelly McLay, FIT's founder, led our trip and deserves particular recognition for setting a fun, enthusiastic tone. It was a great way to join an iconic race (with automatic entry - no qualifying required!) and not have to worry about all the details. I'll definitely look into using them again for other races.

The London Marathon has been on my bucket list for several years and I’m so happy to share that it was an awesome experience! I met so many wonderful people traveling with the Fit International group. The trip was made so much more wonderful with the planned activities and special touches that were included in the package. Fantastic experience: UPDATE: I’ve now done TWO tours with Kelly and her team and I’m convinced there is no better way to race travel! She and her team communicate quickly, explain everything and take you to awesome places with the right amount of touring and race stuff. Her company was a great way to explore both London and Berlin and make sure I got all the race stuff done. From getting us to the expo and start line to a fun and fascinating city tour I will always book with FIT. Now if I can just figure out how to get into the actual Tokyo and Boston races

Fantastic experience: Ran my first marathon (MEDOC) with Kelly and FIT. What an incredible experience, especially for a novice. Kelly and the team took care of everything and did so in record time with a personal touch. I ran with a friend, who is an avid marathoner, and he was similarly impressed with FIT's organization and responsiveness. Fantastic experience: My sister and I ran London with FIT and it was an amazing experience. We ran the race because our brother - who signed up for London with FIT to get his 5th Abbott star - died during COVID and Kelly offered us his spot. Neither of us are runners or international travelers and we didn't know what to expect and were nervous about the trip and especially the race. FIT was so well organized that we were able to enjoy the city and the race without any (undue) stress. The FIT team made an effort to know all of the runners personally and they went above and beyond to support all of the runners in the group, both the elite and the newbies like me and my sister. I can't imagine a better person than Kelly to organize and lead a marathon trip. She's the best and her helping us with this race was a blessing to our entire family. If you're going to run an international marathon, run it with FIT.

Kelly provided all pertinent information in a timely fashion and was always available to answer my questions. This was especially appreciated when COVID forced the cancellation of London 2020. Kelly navigated the ever changing dynamics from the cancellation in March of 2020 to October 2021 to get me to the 2021 London Marathon starting line stress-free! As a result I was able to focus on what is key to a runner, training!!!! Once my family and I arrived at Berlin/London Kelly & the FIT Team was available for any and all our needs. Not only did they focus on the runners but they provided support to the non-runners as well. This also helped me focus on the marathon as I did not need to worry about family members as well as running 26.2 miles!!!! I have used another tour group in the past. I had no complaints as they were professional and provided a good experience. But I always felt as if I was a "customer". With Kelly and FIT I felt a personal connection. It was if I was traveling with friends who were well versed in travel!

Fantastic experience: Arriving in a foreign city to run a marathon is daunting enough, but Fitness International Travel handles all the logistics and puts you at ease. Getting to see the sights and do some warm up runs before the race is so cool and you get to meet others on the FIT tour and form great friendships too! Kelly and her team are logistics wizards and will make your marathon fun and memorable!

Fantastic experience: Kelly and her FIT Team are the best! I've traveled with them to both Berlin and London and I'm excited they have a travel group set up for Tokyo in 2023! They do such a fantastic job of scheduling some great sightseeing, meals, and getting you prepped for the race with a carb friendly meal and helping to make sure you get to the start line - and still make sure you have some time to venture out on your own. I also highly recommend the add on trips post race. Another huge bonus is getting to see a lot of friendly faces from past FIT trips and making new friends along the way.

Fantastic experience: Highest possible rating! We’ve traveled with FIT twice, to the Berlin and London Marathons, and are booked again for Tokyo. FIT’s staff were knowledgeable and helpful every step of the way and worked to ensure everyone got what they needed to make a truly personalized experience of each city and race. We loved the hotels and experiences that FIT organized. Race-day morning was never a concern, as necessary arrangements were made and clearly communicated, with a FIT team member with us to the start: the hardest part of the trip was running the marathon itself, as all other logistics were handled already. Kelly and the FIT team are A++!

Fantastic experience: I’ve gone on 2 (soon to be 3) trips with FIT. Kelly and her group are tremendous. The hotels, the meals, the excursions, everything they do is first class. They also take as good a care of the non-runners as the runners. I cannot recommend them enough if you’re looking to travel to a marathon.

Fantastic experience: While I was looking to run international marathons, I am so happy to have come across Kelly McClay in my online search. She has been very responsive including weekends. She provided better care than was promised in Berlin (my first International marathon). For the greatest experience she offered, I am now signed up to run my second international marathon with team FIT in London. Fantastic experience: I just registered for my 3rd marathon trip with Fitness International (FI). Berlin and London were amazing! FI handled everything, all I had to do was show up, eat, meet wonderful people, and run. Kelly was outstanding; very responsive, customer focused and went the extra mile to ensure satisfaction. I especially appreciated the communications prior to the trip which helped me prepare and confirm that I had all the documentation required, especially given all the Covid requirements. The accommodations, meals , and tours were first class. Kelly and the team took the time to get to know every single person and make them feel part of the FI family. Thanks to FI, I now have friends all over the U.S and world as part of my running family. Their support on the course during the race was also fantastic and motivated me to keep going. I am excited to join FI in March for the Tokyo Marathon and have recommended them to all my friends. I know it will be another wonderful experience.

Fantastic experience: Travelling to another country can be stressful on its own let alone the rest of the logistics of where you'll stay and how you'll get to all the places in between; FIT takes care of all the details so you can just relax, take in the sights and enjoy your trip and your Run all in style :) Kelly and the rest of the FIT fam are so welcoming and friendly and fun. Fantastic experience: So much fun and they took care of EVERYTHING! (I had the pleasure of going with FIT to both the Berlin and London Marathons). **Friendly, helpful, and kind Staff... and I met lots of wonderful people! **FIT took care of the things that can be challenging or even ruin a marathon trip if done incorrectly: Covid Testing, to and from the Expo, wonderful city tours, to and from the start (especially helpful at The London Marathon), pre-race dinner, post race celebration, meeting/cheering us/taking pictures of us on course! **I hope to get to travel with them again!!

Fantastic experience: I loved my travel experience with Fitness International. I felt like I was part of an instant running family. They kept us informed during all the changes that Covid brought to international travel. All my question emails were answered the same day. Not one uncomfortable moment and lots and lots of personal encouragement. Kelly is the best cheerleader.

Fantastic experience: I'm not a marathoner, but I am often the family's travel planner, and I can unequivocally say that traveling with FIT to Berlin was the most fun I've ever had at a marathon. I won't say it was the easiest trip, because international travel during COVID is not for amateurs, but Kelly and her team did everything they could to get us there and back safely while minimizing the stress and maximizing the experience. The group events including meals, city tour (and COVID testing!), and race day logistics were all well thought out and organized. I would happily tour with FIT again, and encourage others to do the same.
