Fantastic experience: They are personable and crafty. I went in with a printed out picture of an anchor the beginning of October for my dad's memorial when he passed and they didn't hesitate that it could be done. It turned out so wonderful and really made his memory live on with his Naval service. Thank you all again for helping me preserve his memories

Fantastic experience: Great experience working with Terrie on an escorted National Park trip that she had mentioned. I was not aware of this travel group. She gave lots of insightful tips and booked the trip, getting the best non-stop flight available at a reasonable price. I can't wait to go!

Negative experience: I ordered an arrangement. It looked nothing like the picture. Had four huge orange lily's put together as the main focus. I paid nearly $100. Never again. I will do it myself next time.

Negative experience: Harry was very nice and polite. Couldn’t ask for a nicer person the rest of the staff I can’t say that much for I was flat out lied to told me the vase was one thing when it was completely not I was told it was lavender and it was clear glass the arrangement might’ve been pretty. But this has left distaste with me for someone to flat out lie.

Fantastic experience: I got married this weekend and had a very casual, easy going wedding. I’d planned to go to the farmers market and grab some seasonal flowers. Unfortunately, there were only a few flowers and I’d need more for my friends and I. I’d had a few great experiences with the Wishing Well’s grab and go bouquet set up, so we dropped by. They took amazing care of us, setting us all up with everything we wanted and more. Instead of being overwhelmed when I walked in for wedding flowers day off, we ended up with gorgeous bouquets and the whole process was so fun since we got to pick everything!

He was very thoughtful in helping me select the appropriate Tea Garden Plant arrangement and message for a team member who just lost their father. He sent a picture of the arrangement this morning - it is beautiful. Fantastic experience: They never disappoint from travel to floral arrangements. When we came in on our anniversary to plan a trip we were greeted not only with a stunning floral arrangement (an order that I had just left to their discretion), but also a bottle of non alcoholic bubbly with 2 glasses, to enjoy while planning our trip together. Definitely service without compare!

Fantastic experience: This is a hard story to believe but it is a true one and one well worth sharing many years after “always” using the Wishing Well for my travels and special flower requests, but here goes…The Wishing Well is so well connected in the “special events category” that they even contracted a cruise ship line in FL for us many years ago and had the captain hold the boat just to wait for almost a full hour later to leave the FL port for our Caribbean trip because the airline and taxis had delayed our arrival. How many people do you think could get on the phone and hold up a cruise line that’s on a tight schedule for you? I do…”The Wishing Well” and Harry and Terrie, because they make your wishes come true! Oh, and they “always” have the freshest, most beautiful arrangement of flowers (from their gifted floral designers) for Valentine’s Day and/or Mother’s Day, and even call and remind me sometimes when I’ve forgotten to contact them. Kudos to The Wishing Well! I love working with them!

Fantastic experience: I called to get some flowers sent out to give my sick and disappointed niece at JMU a little lift…and it would have missed the point if it wasn’t delivered same day. They were obviously full for deliveries that day but Harry didn’t turn me away and instead listened to my situation, asked if I was flexible and walked to what I assume was some pre made arrangements and patiently described several to me and we quickly landed on one! We got the card filled out and off it went! They sent me a photo of the arrangement and it was perfect and I shortly got a smiling picture of my niece with her flowers! So grateful that Harry was patient, listened and came up with a solution! Will definitely shop there again!

Fantastic experience: I was looking for a last minute special anniversary gift for my boys who live in Harrisonburg VA. Because I live in Gettysburg, I was unable to shop in person. Wishing Well was recommended, and I am glad I called. After taking the time to listen to my situation, Harry made some wonderful recommendations and even took the time to send images so I could make a decision. I selected the beautiful chimes and roses which were later beautifully wrapped and delivered same day during a very busy time. In our fast paced world that sometimes seems void of customer service, The Wishing Well really cared. Thank you for taking the time.

Fantastic experience: I ordered flowers online, just before closing time on Friday, in hopes that they could be delivered to a friend on Saturday. Shortly after placing my order, Harry at the shop called me to say they were out of a particular flower in the arrangement, but offered to make a similar substitution. He also offered to send a picture of the arrangement before delivery. The arrangement was gorgeous and it was delivered to my friend in Harrisonburg promptly on Saturday morning. The friend let me know it was one of the nicest arrangements she’d ever received! I wish I could find this type of customer service at my local florist!

Fantastic experience: The Wishing Well's customer service is exceptional. My family needed to have a funeral arrangement sent to a memorial service with less than a day's notice. When I called, Terry had informed me the florists had left for the day, but she would reach out and have someone call me. Thank you, Terry, for your outstanding customer service. Harry then called me and promised he would be able to have an arrangement created in the morning and have it to the church in time for the memorial. A thousand thank-yous to Harry for delivering on that promise and creating a beautiful floral arrangement. And for sending a picture, that I could share with my family here in the Philadelphia/New Jersey region. I have family in the Staunton/Harrisonburg, Virginia, area and will definitely be a future patron of The Wishing Well.

Fantastic experience: Hands down some of the best people I have dealt with. I called in from Kentucky wanting to have some flowers delivered to my Mom. They were VERY friendly, answered all of my questions, they didn’t fuss when I had to call back and change the delivery address. They even emailed me photos of the arrangement after it was completed. Beautiful work, actually made my Mom cry when she received them. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Excellent customer service and beautiful product! I called the day of, out of state and just a few hours before I needed my item delivered for my niece’s birthday. They were so helpful in giving me options to make her gift perfect. They sent me pictures of the item before delivery and it was delivered right on time! The balloons and flowers were extra special for a little girls 6th birthday!

Negative experience: We ordered One boutonniere and one corsage out of white lilies! Microsize head to Lilly’s they both were dead within 3 hours it was $42 worth of flowers definitely did not get our moneys worth ! They were pretty but skimpy !

Fantastic experience: My husband and I recently booked a trip to Athens Greece with Terry. I have always wanted to go to Greece and when my husband heard the Wishing Well advertise a flash sale, he jumped on it. Terry did a wonderful job of making all our arrangements from flights, hotels and excursions. The hotel was lovely and perfectly located for the attractions that we wanted to see. Terry prepared a great travel info packet with all our plans, great information, restaurant suggestions and attractions. She even put it into an app for our phones. We had a fabulous time in Greece. Fantastic experience: Terrie planned a great river cruise for us with Viking. On our way overseas we had flight problems. Even though it was Saturday we called her because we had a boat to catch. She was there to take our several panicked calls and got it all straightened out! We had a great vacation with lots of little "perks" we otherwise would not have gotten. Fantastic experience: The Wishing Well, in the person of Harry, went to a lot of extra trouble to get flowers to my girlfriend on Valentine's Day, when it turned out the local Cville folks doing the delivery wouldn't be able to get them where I'd originally hoped. Super conscientious, a pleasure to deal with. Very highly recommended. I'd happily use the Wishing Well again. And the flowers were beautiful.

Negative experience: VERY DISAPPOINTED. Ordered Valentine’s Day Flowers for my daughter two weeks ahead of time. Was told they would call to coordinate delivery with her. Delivery person left her a message and dropped them off at the mailroom (a mile from her dorm). Not the impression I was trying to make. Spoke with shop and was told that JMU policy is that they cannot deliver to freshman students. That was not disclosed to me when I made the order.

Fantastic experience: They have the nicest arrangements. If they have something put together but you'd like it in your own design they can do it. They can also order specific flowers for an arrangement for you.

Negative experience: Ordered and paid for flowers for prom. Showed them a picture of what we wanted. The flowers were nothing like we ordered and was told we was just out of luck and did nothing to try and help us out. Would not recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: I went to The Wishing Well just for flower service, not knowing that they had other services. Right from the start, Terrie said they were not just a "florist," and they liked to really cater their services to the individual. They were wonderful to work with, and very flexible on price, flowers, and anything else. I went to Terrie not having a clear vision of the flowers and decorations for my wedding, and she really helped to shape it into something beautiful. From the centerpieces to the bridal bouquets, she worked with me to make it perfect. When you spend some time talking with her, you can tell she really cares about the people she's working with. That was also clear when she got emotional when delivering the flowers the day of the wedding. If you get the chance to work with The Wishing Well for your special event, I would recommend it.

Fantastic experience: Love the Wishing Well, Terrie Dean organized and "handled" my enitre wedding, it was gorgeous, and as stress free as it could be :) We also use her for office needs, parties, catering, birthdays, etc. Everything they do for us is beautiful and very little to do on our parts. Love them!
