Fantastic experience: Cheryl was wonderful to work with - making our "bucket list" European Vacation incredible. So many details were covered, taking the stress off of me to just enjoy the time with my family - and I did!

Fantastic experience: We used Century Travel to plan our honeymoon and highly recommend it! Cheryl was a huge help with coordinating the travel logistics and tickets. We told her which cities we wanted to visit, some of the things we wanted to do and she took it and ran with it! We loved all of the hotels she booked us at and really nailed our request that they have cool bars in the hotel if we didn't feel like venturing out. We found Century Travel from our neighbor's friend and couldn't be happier!

Fantastic experience: Century Travel (CT) took care of all the details of our trip to Italy in 2022 (postponed twice due to Covid-19) that included multiple stops, transfers, and tours, and we couldn't be happier. We just told them what places we would like to visit, types of hotels, and tours we liked and they prepared a proposal that we signed off on. The hotels we stayed at and tours we had either met or exceeded our expectations. We had one problem with one hotel room reservation (faulty party was the hotel employee who did not find the right reservation code). I contacted CT, went out for dinner, and when I returned to the hotel the issue was solved! I highly recommend Century Travel and will hire their services in the future for sure.

Fantastic experience: We have used Century Travel for several trips and the experience has always been exemplary. We recently returned from Costa Rica on a trip that was planned by Century Travel. The experience was amazing and would highly suggest using them for planned travel. They do a great job customizing the trip to you and your interests. We have always had an amazing time when on a trip planned by this company.

Fantastic experience: Working with Century Travel was fantastic!!! We had to deal with pandemic postponement, international travel, and variety of frustrating nuances but Kim made it extremely easy for us. She was extremely responsive, communicative, and on top of all the requirements. It was everything we hoped for from a travel agency. Thank you so much Kim!!! We had a fantastic experience!!!

Fantastic experience: We worked with Kim at Century Travel to help my husband and I with planning our honeymoon. We didn't know exactly where we wanted to go and didn't have much time to do a lot of research ourselves. We filled out a form with Kim that told her all the things we were looking for in a trip, and she selected the most beautiful all-inclusive resort for us in Jamaica. We had the best time at the resort - from the activities options, food/drink choices, and all the new friends we made (between other guests and the amazing staff). This was the first time we have booked a trip through a travel agency and the process couldn't have been easier!

Fantastic experience: We LOVE Cheryl! We just got back from Belize and it is the fourth trip Cheryl has planned for us. With all our trips, everything has been just as expected - trains, drivers, hotels, excursions, tour guides. She is worth her weight in gold with the worry free planning and traveling. I highly recommend this fabulous person and company.

Negative experience: Refused to answer a simple itinerary question, unless I paid an exorbitant amount for that.

Fantastic experience: We really enjoyed working with Kim! After our initial honeymoon plans fell through due to COVID, she was able to provide an alternative in short order. We ultimately had a great time on our honeymoon and could not have pulled off all the last minute changes without Kim's guidance.

Fantastic experience: My fiancé and I worked with Cheryl to plan and book our honeymoon. She was so responsive, kind, easy to work with, and able to maximize our experience while staying in budget. We didn’t know we could have that level of quality in our vacation with what we’d budgeted, but Cheryl made it happen! Fantastic experience: My husband and I started planning our honeymoon to the Galapagos with Kim last October. Unfortunately due to Covid, we had to cancel our trip twice. Kim was such a pleasure to work with—always quick to respond and available to answer any and all of our questions. I know she put in a lot of work planning this for us and we can’t wait to start planning with her again in the future!

There is no way I would’ve been able to plan half as good of a honeymoon if I would have tried to plan it on my own. There are so many moving parts to a vacation in a place that you’ve never been. Just knowing that all of our activities, rides, meals, and other accommodations were perfectly handpicked for our preferences gave us the peace of mind to just sit back and enjoy the amazing experience! Fantastic experience: I frequently have to book vacations for my work. I couldn't do this without Kim at Century Travel. We have used Century Travel for four years and Kim has taken away the stress of searching for flights and hotels. She's also saved us a ton of money with her knowledge on airlines and hotels. Kim responds timely, has a huge knowledge base of all around the world, and her recommendations are always top notch, she really knows what she's doing. Kim really works with you to get every detail of your trip exactly how you want it from transportation to and from hotels/airports, to the type of hotel, to the room that best suits you. Negative experience: She didn’t seem real interested in helping us plan our honeymoon gave me some ideas and then we hung up. So yeah it was ok gave me something to think about but didn’t help me really.

Fantastic experience: We had an INCREDIBLE time thanks to Katy's seamless planning! We kept saying it went very smoothly and we had the best time! No flight issues, no sickness (thanks to shot recommendations) and luxurious accommodations in Kenya and the Seychelles! We really LOVED Banyan Tree Seychelles and it was the top place we have ever stayed - service, food, view/location were to die for. The Satao Elerai safari camp was also really cool and luxurious, given the remote location. We loved the mixture of an adventure combined with relaxation at the end. My girlfriends and I were looking for an all-inclusive beach trip on a budget and Katy found several options for us to choose from. Fantastic experience: Our agent Kim helped us find an African Safari to our liking. We just returned from Kenya and it was spectacular. We usually plan our own trips so this is our first time using a travel agent. It was definitely worth it, since wading through the gazzilion Safari tour companies is daunting. With her experience and recommendation we quickly found exactly what we wanted. The trip exceeded our expectations.

Fantastic experience: we have had two trips with Century Travel. A wonderful trip with our daughter and two granddaughters to Italy which was designed by Sally Watkins in 2018. The second trip was a family gathering to Aruba designed by Katy Chadwell for 19 people in July 2019. the Ritz was a great hotel and Katy 's guidance made the trip hassle free as well as having a wonderful time in Aruba.

Fantastic experience: Katy Chadwell designed a fabulous trip for our family. All I had to do was tell her where we wanted to go (Austria and Germany) and the types of things we enjoyed. She arranged all of the transportation, including transfers, plane tix, train tix, and rental car, the tours (both private and small group), and hotels. She provided us with invaluable information to save me time from having to Google it all. Everything went so smoothly, we could just enjoy ourselves instead of worrying about the details. We couldn't have asked for a better trip!

Our agent was Katy Chadwell, and she worked with us ahead of time to figure out exactly what we wanted for our trip through Italy. She tailored a plan that was exactly what we were looking for, and we were also able to reach out to her with questions while we were on our trip. Katy was very nice to work with, and all of the tours and activities that she booked for us were excellent. Especially after planning a big event like a wedding ourselves, it was incredibly nice to relax and have someone else handle the planning for such a large trip.

Negative experience: The agent I spoke to was offensive to me. I was Inquiring about a package to Vegas she asked where I'd like to stay, I stated the least expensive. She then said that they only work with "high end hotels" and that perhaps they weren't the "right fight". This infuriates me. I told her she was offensive and that perhaps they weren't the right fit.

Fantastic experience: Katy Chadwell was the best in assisting me and making all seem so easy to book trip to Israel. I tried to do online myself through many airlines, etc. and not once was I able to find a one-stop flight. She saved me hours! I’ll not go anywhere else after this experience. Fabulous exoerience!

Fantastic experience: Katy at Century was so helpful in arranging our flights to Japan, and arranging for a few extra nights at our hotel in Tokyo. I spoke to some of the other travel agents also, and they were all friendly, courteous and helpful. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: We have not actually gone on our European trip yet, but I can say that the booking, planning and preparation has been impressive. I am confident that Kim's attention to every little detail will make our trip low stress and as enjoyable as possible. She even caught the airlines trying to move our seat assignments to a more expensive section and switched them back. She KNOWS what she is talking about and helped me plan the trip we wanted. I highly recommend using Century Travel for trips like this where you'll need air, rail and hotel coordination. To update: Our trip 4 years ago went off without one hitch. Everything was well coordinated in advance and that was a relief for me since I tend to get a little stressed with "glitches." More recently I completed a trip organized by Katy to Cabo San Lucas. She was also exceptional and very thorough and again there wasn't one stressful or difficult issue the entire trip. The nice note and birthday cake sent to my travel companion during the trip was an amazing touch.

Fantastic experience: My now fiancé and I planned a trip to Banff, Canada, with the help of Katy. The planning process was excellent, and our trip was memorable. We will use Century Travel for all our travel needs as long as we are in the Austin area!

Neither of us have used a travel agency before, but on our first long 3 week trip abroad, we felt overwhelmed and unsure where to begin. Katy made things incredibly easy. She has a knack for anticipating needs, happily took the reigns and helped us organize a truly relaxing trip to Iceland, Scotland and Ireland, that was filled with things that fit our personalities. Fantastic experience: Cheryl helped us plan a fantastic graduation trip to Paris and Barcelona. The accommodations that she arranged for us were perfect. We had a lovely Parisian Hotel in Paris and a large, modern apartment in Barcelona. Both were well located and we never would have found them on our own. The private tours and transfers were top notch. Our flights were carefully planned to make the travel as comfortable as possible. The travel arrangements were seamless and we were able to thoroughly enjoy this once in a lifetime trip. Cheryl was great to work with!

Fantastic experience: I have used Century travel to plan 3 trips in the past. Most recently Cheryl helped me plan a trip to New Zealand and was extremely helpful with the planning. The hotels, excursions, and flights all went off without a hitch. She also helped us limit our scope of the trip since there is only so much you can do in the time you have. We went back and forth with about 3 different itineraries until we figured out what we really wanted to do. Cheryl's attention to detail and excellent communication made the planning process really easy. The fee for her services was extremely reasonable for something that would have involved many, many hours if we were to do it ourselves. It was a dream vacation and we could not have done it successfully without Cheryl's help.

Fantastic experience: Cheryl McPhail planned a trip to Italy for myself, my husband our three adult sons and one girlfriend. The entire trip was simply perfect. She scheduled all transfers which turned out perfectly. Excellent vehicles, good drivers and each transfer was perfectly on time. We started our trip in Brescia to see family and then went to Florence and Rome. The private tours and sightseeing trips were fantastic. Knowledgeable guides, perfect choices for times, locations and variety! We did private tours of the Vatican and Colosseum as well as spent a day with a driver in Tuscany. Each one were fantastic. She selected the Brunelleschi Hotel in Florence and it was an incredible hotel to help experience Florence! I asked Cheryl for a low stress trip for me and she took care of all the small and large details so I could focus on experiencing the wonder of Italy. I highly recommend Cheryl for your next trip!

Negative experience: These people charge gigantic fees on top of the cost of your trip; no other agency does this!! When I talked to them, someone by the name of "Cheryl" I believe, hung up on me because I asked why they charge these fees when no one else does. I was not unpleasant, but only astonished. I asked because I thought perhaps they were not using the main stream hotels so said hotels may be less. Nasty customer service. There are too many nice agencies out there with normal costs.

Fantastic experience: Joanne helped me with a trip to Whistler over Christmas and it was perfect. Lissa is currently helping me with a trip to Lake Tahoe and it has been very easy. I don't see why you wouldn't use this firm as their rates are extremely reasonable. Let them do the research for you; they will save you time and will likely save you money by knowing the best deals.

Negative experience: Would you hire a general contractor to remodel your kitchen without first asking about their experience, pricing, insurance, and etc.? Probably not and for good reason. Is hiring a travel agent any different? There are many articles on the web that suggest asking critical due diligence type questions before hiring a travel agent. For example, does the agent have experience with booking travel to the specific region and if so how much experience? Has the agent personally traveled to the region? how do the consultant fees work? Are there any booking fees in addition to the consulting fees? When and how are payments handled. What are the specific services provided? Does the agent provide after hours communications in case there is a problem with reservations and etc.? Etc. etc. Recently I contacted Century Travel In Austin, Tx on a quest to hire an agent to help book a trip to Italy. The receptionist was great and put me in contact with an agent. In the initial contact with the agent (email), she noted that the first 20 minutes of the first meeting would be free and there after I would incur a consulting fee. I explained that the fee would not be a problem once I decide to hire century travel as my agent but before deciding that I would like a face to face meeting to ask my due diligence type questions. From there the communication between myself and the agent went down hill. The agent all but refused to answer any of my interview questions. The last communication I had with agent I asked about a manager or owner. The agent promptly replied that the manager is already aware of our communications and essentially said they did think they were the agent for me. At the time of this writing, I have not had any contact with the manager even after leaving both an email and voice mail message. I ask you, is it unreasonable to perform due diligence in hiring a travel agent without incurring a consulting fee? I have no issue with consulting fees once I have hired an agent and consulting work actually begins.

Fantastic experience: We booked our honeymoon with through Century Travel with help from Cheryl McPhail. I had never planned a trip through an agent before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Given how busy the few months leading up to the wedding were, I am glad we did! Cheryl handled all of the details and logistics which helped to put my mind at ease. Admittedly, I get a little stressed over worrying about catching flights and picking up rental cars etc ;) Since we had a planned out agenda with the details worked out in advance, the experience was more or less 'grab and go'. Cheryl made sure our hotels were aware we were newlyweds and we were greeting with champagne wherever we went. That goes a long way in my household!

Fantastic experience: I discovered Sally Watkins and Century Travel through Travel and Leisure, where Sally has been rated a Super Agent so many years in a row I can't remember. I contacted her for my dream trip to Tuscany. Her knowledge is comprehensive but what makes her Super is her attention to the details about YOU and what you want from travel. Our trip was magical and we soaked up all the beauty in the art, architecture, culture, people, food and wine every moment. We got upgrades everywhere we showed up (thanks to Sally no doubt), and had no trouble checking in early.. In Cortona we were greeted by Julia at Villa Marsili whose great beauty was only eclipsed by her genuine friendliness. She scored us reservations at an outside table at La Locanda on the piazza that very evening. We got there, there was some mix up, and I just smiled and said, "Well, Julia called earlier..." I couldn't finish my sentence before we were whisked to a primo table basking in a beautiful sunset. V. Marsili also let us have a late check out to go to the Etruscan museum the following morning. The suite we got at Castello de Velona was epic. The staff was lovely and the property--well, words just won't suffice. Panoramic views of the Val d'Orcia with 5 star facilities to relax in. When we arrived at Palazzo Ravizza in Siena I was delighted when the clerk handed us the key to the much sought after Jr. Ste. 4. Perfetto. No matter where I looked there was a beautiful vista. Thank you, Sally, so very much for all your help and seeing this longtime dream of mine come true in a fashion even I could never have believed. I am in your debt--M. Murray

Fantastic experience: I've used Century travel to plan several wonderful European trips. Sally Watkins knows the absolute best guides everywhere we've visited. Her attention to detail is fantastic and much appreciated. It's wonderful to land in a strange city and have someone waiting for you with your name on a sign. We just returned a month ago from a family trip to Italy and everything went so smoothly. My daughter and her family were very impressed that everything went so flawlessly. You couldn't go wrong using Century travel.
