Fantastic experience: We have used Michaela to help us plan many trips. Our most recent was to Ireland. She is amazing at taking care of all the details which make our trip stress-free. She is very knowledgeable and sets us up with the best experiences.

Fantastic experience: My (now) husband and I had our hearts set on Europe for our honeymoon, however, neither of us had ever traveled there before. We had worked with Michaela a number of times in the past for other vacations so she was our first call when we decided to book our honeymoon. International travel can be a bit overwhelming due to the potential language barriers, currency conversions and travel considerations. Michaela quickly set our minds at ease. We traveled through Monaco, Nice, Lake Como, Switzerland and Venice. Michaela arranged our rail transportation, in advance, as well as a private car/driver to pick us up/drop us off at the airports and railways. This alleviated so much time and stress and allowed us to travel worry free. She also helped us select hotels/areas that matched our personal preferences and offered suggestions regarding the area and activities that we might find enjoyable. Michaela is extremely professional and a joy to work with! Planning a wedding is a very busy time and Michaela was able to step in and take full ownership of coordinating the details/logistics of our honeymoon. I couldn’t be happier with the options she provided and it was a huge relief to have her guidance and assistance! I would highly recommend her to anyone for any vacation!

Fantastic experience: It seems that travel is more complicated now then I can ever remember. But working with Michaela took out all of our worries. Her knowledge, expertise and professionalism made complicated travel plans go so easy. Recently, we had an out-of-country trip. Michaela helped us navigate the pre-departure protocols related to COVID, as well as those re-entry requirements. Michaela is an invaluable resource and I give her the highest recommendation!

Fantastic experience: Michaela helped me plan my solo trip to Japan. I was very impressed with the level of service she provided. I had to do very little work, outside of giving personal preferences and details for the trip. She planned the flights, hotels, tours, transportation and provided many helpful tips for the trip. Fantastic experience: In September we toured England/Scotland but started in London with our own private 4-hour tour of Westminster highlights arranged by Michaela. She never disappoints! The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and personable. Michaela arranged for a private tour of Budapest 2 years ago and again it was first rate. (She always has great hotel suggestions too.) We tell her our ideas of what country we want to visit and she comes up with 4-5 options for a very memorable vacation, whether by land or water. She’s a gem!

Fantastic experience: Michaela at Creative Vacations did an amazing job finding us the perfect relaxing vacation. But what was even more amazing was her help and support during the vacation. We were traveling home during the worldwide computer crash in July and she notified us as soon as we woke up of the potential issues and helped us navigate the best way home throughout the entire trip back. Fantastic experience: We have utilized Michaela with Creative Vacations for two trips. The first trip fall of 2023 to Scotland and Ireland and spring of 2024 to Italy. Both were a dream come true. Fantastic experience: We took our newly graduated granddaughter on a trip with us to Greece. Michaela was thorough in her planning and gave us the exact trip we wanted! Fantastic experience: During our honeymoon the island we were on had a direct hit hurricane. Michaela gave us updates and advice throughout the entire process before everything even started. She was on it! From the time a “tropical storm watch” started, she sent emails, forecasts, flight options, etc. After the hurricane she worked to get us home safely on different flights and another hotel. Before we even left for the honeymoon AA had changed our flights and never notified us. Michaela let us know as soon as she found out and got us on new flights and a hotel for an overnight layover. She was great and we appreciated her assistance. We haven’t ever used a travel agent before, but we will be choosing Michaela for every overseas/foreign country trip we take going forward.

When there were issues with our airport transfer at the end of our stay, we called Michaela and she addressed it right away. Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good things about my experience and planning our amazing adventure to France though Creative Vacations and with Michaela Moore. In early 2020 we had decided that we were going to plan a trip to Paris and my first call was to Michaela, I knew with her extensive knowledge and background, especially in Europe, would make her our best choice. We were planning a trip of dreams and we wanted no punches to be pulled on this one. Sometimes I have a hard time finding people who can truly understand what we are looking for. I was going to be traveling with 3 companions, my 12-year-old son and 2 adults in their 70’s, none of them had traveled to Europe before, so the order was a tall one. Michaela was able to craft and develop an itinerary that is still unrivaled in all the online groups and research I had done on my own. She knew the ins and outs and created a curated red-carpet experience for us all. We were so excited to go, but as we all know COVID hit that Spring and out trip was rescheduled for the next year and then the next. I longed for the experiences she had created, and I began to worry that the experience would never be able to live up to the expectation. I was wrong. We had amazing adventures and culinary experiences, we had curated tours, and time to wander. We got it all and more. Michaela was there every step of the way; she was excited for us and attentive to changes we wanted as our desires changed. There are so many websites and apps out there, that many people do not use travel agents, like they should, but for me, it was the best decision we made. She took care of it all, the re-booking, the refunds, all the way down to good tables and reservations at impossibly hard to get restaurants. Fantastic experience: Michaela orchestrated a complicated island vacation for seven of us from three cities with different return dates. She found the perfect resort and then helped set up special celebrations while we were there. Three of our team had to enter quarantine when we tested for the trip back and Michaela took care of everything - multiple airline reschedules, travel insurance dealings, and checked in with all of us and made sure everyone got home safe. She is still acting on our behalf with the travel insurance. Amazingly responsive, personal and professional service, I highly recommend her. She was a lifesaver.

Fantastic experience: Michaela Moore took care of a large group of us on a trip to Turks and Caicos back in December. Sorry we are late getting this posted. She did an awesome job of organizing everyone's flights, testing, insurance, and every other little detail that is required to get to and from Turks and Caicos. Due to her attention to detail, everyone arrived on time, enjoyed a wonderful time at Beaches, and made it home safely. My wife Barb and I complicated her job even more by changing our return plans at least 3 times. She took it all in stride, was very responsive, and handled everything in a timely and professional manner. She is awesome and we recommend her for anyone planning a trip anywhere. Fantastic experience: Michaela set up our honeymoon for us. She was on top of everything, all the travel documents we needed and what tests we needed to take before we went. Our flights got messed up and she was on top of it and was able to get us accommodated quickly and effectively with the airline. 10/10 would recommend and 10/10 will use again. From the very beginning, Michaela provided us with detailed information about our first out of country trip and helped us with the process for over 10 months. We had a unique circumstance with new CDC guidelines during our trip and she made the changes seamlessly! In addition to hiccups at the check-in process at our hotel, Michaela responded literally with in a minute or two and rectified the issue immediately! Fantastic experience: We contacted Michaela a few months ago to help us with our destination wedding to Mexico. She was there from the very beginning when it came to contacting our resort about a room block, to being in touch with the wedding planner to get things started. Michaela also helped with our wedding coordinator along the way to make sure all plans were going smoothly. There was a catamaran ride we chartered as a group activity for our guests, which Michaela planned from the beginning and set us up with all we needed when we got to the dock to board the boat! The 30 of us in the group had a BLAST on the catamaran ride to Isla Mujeres for the afternoon. When it came time to be at our resort for the week, Michaela was not only there for us when we had a minor hiccup, but she was there for our guests that booked with her. She got things handled for us very efficiently, with a time difference AND limited cell phone service on our part. When she says she is there for you from the very beginning stages of your plans, until after you get back home, she means it!! We cannot thank her enough for helping us plan our destination wedding with 30 guests - we couldn't have done it without her. We would highly recommend Michaela for any of your vacation planning needs!

Fantastic experience: Michaela was SO GREAT to work with! We did a destination wedding in the Dominican with a group of 50 and experienced horrible snow storms leaving from Iowa. Many flight issues arose and Michaela was so amazing to our whole group in working with the airlines to make it easy for us. I don't think we could have had a more challenging situation for her with our wedding due to the weather and my dad needing medical assistance on the trip (having to use insurance & stay another night/ change flights) but Michaela made the process so much better for not only my parents but our whole group having her there to help take care of things while we had other stress on our minds. With the hiccups we had, our trip went AMAZING thanks to her. Many of the group members who traveled with us gave us so many compliments on her. She was willing to work extra hours outside of her norm to be there for me as a panicked bride in the middle of the night with a cancelled flight or while I was worried about my dad. She was timely in getting back to everyone on details/ questions and was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the whole trip planning process. Michaela even had her own family emergencies arise during the months of wedding planning and was still so great to make sure she was on top of her work for her clients. She is the best of the best. I will definitely use Michaela again.

In October, we celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary using Michaela at Creative Vacations and were so glad we did. Fantastic experience: Michaela was a dream to work with. We had never used a travel agent before, but agreed we needed some help with our honeymoon. We wanted a 10 day trip to Germany, Austria and Italy. She has set the bar high. When we first reached out we told Michaela where we wanted to go, our dates, what we would like to include and our budget. She came back with a nearly perfect plan. We never had a problem with communication. She made sure to keep us in the loop for updates and always responded quickly to questions. She sent us a packet with everything we needed to know including our vouchers, a packing list and even some cute luggage tags. She walked us through the entire trip, how to use our vouchers, emergency numbers, and just generally made sure she could answer any last-minute questions we had. This was the first time we had traveled out of the country and given the fact that it was in the heart of hurricane season we were a little worried. Before we booked the trip we did some research on our own. We were both overwhelmed with everything that was out there. I ended up calling Michaela and gave her a budget and the things we were looking for. She booked us a beautiful stay at Secrets Cozumel. Everything was perfect! Anytime we had questions Michaela was quick and responsive. She even went as far as sending me weather updates, so we would know what to expect. Fantastic experience: Michaela helped us plan our incredible trip to Hawaii this past summer... and we absolutely could not have done it without her. 3 islands, 3 resorts, and 7 excursions - there was so much to prepare and coordinate! Not only did she suggest excursions based on exactly what we were looking for, but she coordinated them for us - where to go, what to bring, what time to be there. Luckily. we didn't have any "snags" on this trip, but on our last trip to Jamaica, we definitely ran into one and Michaela was all over it. The tour-guides for "Swimming with the Dolphins" forgot to pick us up (I grew to love island time, but at that moment, it was super frustrating). We called her in a state of panic - she told us to go to the beach and relax because she'd handle it. Sure enough, we had an email within a couple hours with it rebooked for the next day. She saved us several hours of our vacation time that would have been spent trying to reschedule an excursion. We don't risk any "big" vacations with anybody else but Michaela!! :)

Fantastic experience: Since Italy, Michaela has helped us plan a beach vacation, and tours in Europe. We have referred multiple friends to her and they too have said she is fabulous! Cheers to our next adventure. ----- Michaela did a great job organizing our 16 day trip to Italy. This was our first experience using a travel agent and so we were a little nervous going into it all. We knew that we wanted to see multiple cities and asked that she book our flights, hotels, rail tickets, and tours. We also had a couple of specific places that we wanted to make sure made it onto our itinerary. All of Michaela's planning paid off, we did not have any trouble navigating the city, going on tours, or using the rail. We were thankful for the information goodie bag that she sent along with us outlining each portion of our trip. Most of all, we would like to commend Michaela for being flexible with us as we did most of our planning via email and phone and especially because we moved out of state right before our trip. We would recommend Michaela to others and hope to utilize her for our next adventures!

Fantastic experience: I had always been hesitant to hire a travel consultant, especially after all the travel sites available. After 1 booking with Michaela I was sold and addicted! I am actually embarrassed now about the time I spent trying to book trips on my own. I also quickly learned the vast and valuable different between a travel consultant (Michaela) and just a travel agent. Michaela is genuinely interested in the trips my husband and I are trying to book and tries to learn as much as she can about us to make sure we have the best trip possible. Her customer service is amazing, a skill found very lacking in any industry today. She is extremely knowledgeable, not just about places, but travel in general and makes great suggestions and tips. She is honest and upfront about what places she has visited or knows about first hand and ones she maybe has not. She is always up for a simple flight booking or a multi-destination trip. The amount of time she has saved me putting trips together allows us to plan more trips vs. spending time on trips we haven’t booked yet! In regards to thinking trips are going to be more expensive than the travel sites, they aren’t. I looked at several trips when we initially started using Michaela and not only did Michaela beat the travel sites, her flight, room selection and overall package was better than what I could have put together on my own, not to mention the time saved. As a business owner myself I have high standards and rarely make recommendations. I would recommend Michaela in a heartbeat for any level of travel you are wanting to take; whether an affordable family vacation or a luxury high end trip. She takes all the work out of my travel so I can enjoy it from the day a trip pops into my head until I get back and snuggle back into my own bed. She is great fun and booking is effortless. Fantastic experience: Michaela made our destination wedding as smooth as possible! From helping us pick the resort that was most fitting for our wants to making sure everyone had what they needed to arrive to Mexico. We had over 50 guests and she accommodated each and every one of them. She made sure that the resort was attentive to our needs and that travel was perfect. Because of her, we had no issues during our trip! Couldn't ask for better!!

Fantastic experience: We are so glad we called Michaela to help us plan our family trip to Europe. She was able to book all our flights (which included different family members traveling from different locations and on different dates) We were very happy with all the hotels that she recommended and booked for us. She was also most helpful in recommending and booking our tours and attraction tickets. We were able to see everything we wanted without having to wait in long lines for tickets. The train system was confusing to us but with Michaela's help, all those tickets were booked as well so we were able to get around Europe without any problems. Fantastic experience: I have always been leery about using a travel agent because I felt I could find the same deals for myself on the internet, but my husband talked me into talking to Michaela and we are so happy we did. Michaela helped up plan our honeymoon to Jamaica and it was amazing. She priced out different vacations for us to look into and then met with us to discuss the ones we were most interested in. She is so knowledgeable about every place and by the time we were done with our meeting we were confident in our decision. She took care of everything for us and it was perfect! We had an issue with our flight being canceled on our way back and I immediately call Michaela and she went to work to get us re routed, booked us a hotel for the night and got us started with our trip insurance claim. It was so worth it to go with Michaela. I will never plan another trip without her help! She is wonderful and I recommend her to everyone that I know who is thinking about vacations.

Fantastic experience: Michaela is the first person we go to when we want to plan a vacation. I would recommend her highly to anyone interested in going anywhere. No trip ever seems too tricky for her. Our most recent was a trip to Prague with a side trip to Krakow. She didn't bat an eye. She scheduled our flight into Prague, our shuttle from the airport, our very sweet apartment in Prague, our private city tour, our train to Krakow, our lovely hotel, our private tour of the two concentration camps and our flight home from Krakow. Everything was easy breezy. She goes over the trip with a very organized package with everything you will need ahead of time. You will leave with confidence that everything will be great. She does not disappoint.

We only had email communication but she was on it, this is my husband and I's first real vacation and Micaela helped us decide on the best package for us, she was very knowledgeable and her detail at explaining everything to us was fantastic. Fantastic experience: Michaela did a great job planning our trip to Italy. We visited Capri Island for a few nights and then visited Rome for a few more. She was very helpful the minute we sat down to talk with her. Nearly all of our transportation accommodations were taken care of by her and it took a load off of us for the duration of the trip. She set us up with fabulous tours of Rome, and gave us great advice for getting around and having the best time we could have in the week we were abroad. With her help we were able to book a reasonable hotel merely 4 blocks from the Coliseum. The trip was great and we wouldn't change a thing - much thanks to Michaela!

Fantastic experience: My (now)Wife and I decided to use a travel agent to book our honeymoon, because we simply did not know what all went into it and wanted to get the best rates and all inclusive and all that. We were nervous as we had never used a travel agent before but when we met Michaela and got down to business she took all our nerves away. She listened to us, took all of our suggestions and came up with a few different packages that we could consider. Fantastic experience: Michaela is great to work with!!! I have used her services for 2 big trips to the Caribbean over the last 2 years. She is truly interested in what we want out of a vacation, and tries to taylor her recommendations to mesh with our expectations and desires. Her low fee is totally worth the work she does to help everything come together, especially for bigger trips. In the past I have enjoyed being my own travel agent, but since finding Michaela, I feel comfortable leaving the details to her! I have also used her services to "almost go" on 3 other smaller trips, which never materialized because of our schedule, etc. She was totally laid back about it, and is happy to help whenever you ask her!
