Fantastic experience: Our stay in Villa Serena on Antigua couldn’t have been more enjoyable. From the very beginning, Isle Blue was very communicative and informative. The managers were responsive to emails and questions. Villa Serena was exactly has described. The neighborhood/resort was quiet. The view from the house has wonderful. The kitchen was probably the best stock kitchen I’ve used in a rental, all the utensils, small appliances, and spices you could ever need or want. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. Plenty of hot water for showers. We also had access to the resort pool and beach. House manager was also great to work with. I do highly recommend using Isle Blue

Fantastic experience: LOVED Villa Casa Oceano! It was the perfect getaway for a Christmas family tradition change. From the Macaws to the monkeys to Hansel (concierge) to Chefs (Sylvia and Stephen) to the beautiful beach and rocks to the perfect views. What an amazing property and the people that manage the house are top notch. This property is in a local area, which was an amazing experience, but I would highly recommend getting full chef service as restaurants and groceries aren't close by.

Fantastic experience: My family stayed at Mer Soleil for the third year and had a fabulous vacation. The house is well provisioned and the house manager Angus is attentive of all of your needs and making sure the house has what you need. The Terra Basse area is a great location and very easy to get around. The house setup is great with the out door space offering a great atmosphere. We occupied three of the four bedrooms and there was plenty of space. The pool is fantastic and the view of the sunsets are breathtaking. The restaurants in the area are all very good and we certainly love fresh bread, sandwiches and croissants from L'Express. We stayed the week of October 11th this year because of schedules and we prefer May. The week was great, but some restaurants were closed and the bugs at night were very heavy. We will be back soon!

Negative experience: This is not a review of the villa where we stayed, because that was amazing. But I would NOT recommend booking through Isle Blue because they are impossible to reach and have yet to refund my $2,500 damage deposit though i sent the wiring instructions a month ago. Accounting does not respond, nobobdy answers the phone, and the concierge does not respond. Use another company and save yourself the headache.

Fantastic experience: We stayed at the Emerald pavilion villa and I must say it was truly a “one of a kind” experience. The villa itself was amazing, well appointed and every detail well thought out. We wanted for nothing. The pool and amenities were perfect in every way. The beach and water so clear and beautiful that I no longer long to travel to Maldives or Figi…that beautiful!! But the staff were what made this trip unforgettable. The pre-booking concierge told me that the staff was top-notch, and the reason we picked EP, but until we arrived, we didn’t realize how special they really are. Dana and Mark made sure we were taken care of every moment and even memorized our preferences for every meal and beyond. They sat up our meals for service outside by the pool, under the veranda, and occasionally in the dining room. Every service was arranged with a different place setting and each one unique and beautiful. Upon arrival and every time we came back to the villa we were greeted outside with lemongrass scented cold towels and a refreshing drink. ….so special!! The chefs were both extremely talented as they prepared every dish to perfection. We could not have had a better meal anywhere on the island!! They were timely and catered to every suggestion and meal choice. Opal was like a stealth ninja making sure the rooms were well maintained. We would go to breakfast and all 7 rooms were cleaned and fresh towels and linens replaced. Same every time we left our room it was tidied again and again. Steve was stealth as well - he maintained the pool and grounds to perfection. He brought the paddle boards back from the beach and constantly maintained the surrounding areas at all times. We all think of our vacation to TCI and the friends we made every day. We actually cried upon departure and can’t wait to return. We will never be able to go anywhere else in the Caribbean other than Emerald Pavilion, because of the staff we’ve become so close to that we call them family:)

Negative experience: Tried renting a car through them and it was a pretty bad experience. They don't disclose that there are extra hidden fees (almost as much as the rental) through the actual car rental agency. (Isle Blue just brokers our the rental). Isle Blue collects the payment upfront but the actual rental agency won't give you a car until the additional fees are paid. Their "Service" department also closes at 3pm so it's not easy getting ahold of them. Lastly the only notification you get is through email so if you do book with them make sure you have good internet and a laptop when organizing all of the extra fees the day of. I would not recommend.

This service is provided directly by the local rental car agency and, as noted in our terms and conditions, carries a fee of €40, payable to the agency at the time of delivery. I’ve included a copy of the disclosure you received by email for your reference.
We understand that €40 may feel like a considerable cost in relation to your original $90 rental rate. However, this was an extraordinary after-hours service—an option not typically available—and the fee reflects both the timing and nature of the request. It is consistent with similar after-hours service costs across the destinations we serve.
We hope this helps clarify the matter, and we wish you a wonderful stay on St. Barts.

Fantastic experience: We stayed at Sapphire Beach in Barbados from March 31st to April 9th with friends. The three bedroom unit was excellent with no issues. The building is on Dover Beach and has two swimming pools. Restaurants are close by, easy walking distance. This was our 3rd time staying at Sapphire Beach and would return.

Negative experience: The property itself in Cabo was beautiful, but unfortunately, Isle Blue operates with dishonest and misleading practices when it comes to handling security deposits. After our stay, they made false and unsubstantiated accusations to justify withholding a significant portion of our deposit. The claims about damage to the property were either fabricated or wildly exaggerated. What’s worse, when we asked for proof of these claims, they failed to provide any credible evidence. It feels like a coordinated tactic to retain guest deposits, especially concerning given their requirement to send funds via bank transfer, leaving renters with no meaningful recourse. We’ve rented high-end homes all over the world and never dealt with something this shady. We will never use Isle Blue again, and we are actively warning friends and colleagues to avoid them at all costs.

All information and photos related to the damage claims were promptly sent to the head guest following your stay. We understand and sympathize with the disappointment and frustration that can arise when a damage claim is made. However, it is important to distinguish that Isle Blue does not own or manage the properties. Damage claims are initiated by the property owner and property manager, and Isle Blue’s role is to communicate and mediate these claims on behalf of both parties.
Following our review of the situation, a partial refund of your security deposit was issued. We are also continuing discussions with the property manager to further inquire whether the claims can be modified or adjusted.
Please know that our commitment has always been to act as a fair intermediary for our guests and the property managers. We appreciate your feedback, and while we regret that your experience did not meet expectations, we remain committed to seeking a fair and balanced resolution.

Fantastic experience: Review: Bluff House, Barbados – A Slice of Paradise! Our stay at Bluff House was nothing short of epic. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. The villa itself is absolutely stunning—nestled in a beautifully secluded spot, with the perfect blend of beachfront bliss and private pool luxury. Whether we were lounging on the super comfortable seating or dancing by the pool, every moment felt like a dream. A massive shoutout to Kimberley, Kathy & the rest of the gang—they were the heart and soul of our experience. Attentive, warm, and full of fun, they took care of our every need with a smile and a killer rum punch in hand (seriously, the best we've ever had!). They even did our laundry before we left, which meant we could just unpack and settle in once we got home—pure magic. And then there's Chef Mark—a culinary wizard! His dishes were beyond delicious, packing just the right amount of spice and flavour. We became slightly obsessed with his blackened chicken—we practically clucked every time it hit the table. The villa also boasts a great sound system, making it easy to set the perfect vibe from sunrise to sunset. A big thanks to the team at Isle Blue Villas as well—the entire experience was slick, friendly, and stress-free. They answered every question quickly and efficiently, sent helpful updates, and made booking an absolute breeze. Honestly, it was the best holiday ever. If you're even thinking about booking Bluff House—just do it. You won’t regret it.

Negative experience: Arc En Ciel (St. Lucia) - A Major Disappointment Arc En Ciel is now 35-plus years old and the pictures shown on the web site are at least that old. The owners have made no investments to upgrade the property. Toilets are 35-plus years old, plumbing and water supply is an issue. The sofas in the rooms are worn, sagging and badly stained from decades of use. In one bedroom, the “exhaust fan” is a moldy hole in the ceiling allowing bugs, including large spiders, to enter the room. The uplighting of the walkways and gardens doesn't work and over half of the lanterns and lights are not working or have burnt out light bulbs. The outdoor wooden chaise lounges are old, worn and peeling. The kitchen was certainly not what one would expect in a high-end villa. It is worn and in dire need of a major makeover. Sandfleas all over the kitchen counters and birds were always, constantly on the countertops in the kitchen – which is a sanitary issue and health hazard. Arc En Ciel is on a very steep hill, which makes walking down to the beach an issue as the road can be slippery. Getting around is difficult. Visitors are not allowed to pass through the Viceroy Sugar Beach resort, so you'll need to drive around on fairly dangerous roads to reach town (Soufriere) and sites. The major road/highway is undergoing a 6-month construction project, so we were forced to use back roads, which were a major challenge (about 12-ft wide, 2-way roads with no signs, major deep potholes and steep switchbacks). The house manager has permission to enter the Viceroy Resort and drove us when requested, which was greatly appreciated, but then we were dependent on his availability. We enjoyed and views, but the villa itself was absolutely not worth the price.

Fantastic experience: My Wife and I have two trips booked in the next 20 months with Isle Blue. Each villa looks spectacular. It is for a special wedding anniversary. Lisa could not have been nicer or more accommodating. The booking of our second trip ran into some payment snags (all created by our own bank). Fantastic experience: Our group of four friends stayed at beautiful Casa Amigos and we couldn’t have been more thrilled! This spectacular home, with fabulous ocean views from every room, was as beautiful as the peaceful jungle that surrounded it. Negative experience: We booked a villa on Barbados for 4 weeks with this company. At no point did they make clear that they were not the agents actually running the villa and this was in fact a local real estate company on the island. We were promised a full orientation to the 3 bedroom villa on arrival, but when we arrived were given only a code for the lock box to obtain the key. No orientation was ever given and none of the systems in the villa had any instruction manuals or advice. For the first four days the villa had no hot water, the villa manager told us this could not be dealt with at a weekend. When it was eventually fixed I was asked to turn on all the valves once the repair had cured to avoid the company needing to return to the villa. Twice we had a full day with no water with no warning to store water despite the fact that everyone locally was aware this was going to happen. The dishwasher in the villa did not work and after a failed repair it was eventually replaced two weeks into our stay which required workmen being in the villa all day. We were offered a bottle of prosecco as compensation for all this inconvenience. At departure despite having paid Isle Blue for a transfer and fast track at the airport no one locally knew anything about this and we were told to contact Isle Blue in N Carolina. The transfer finally arrived 30 minutes late and the driver did not know where he needed to take us. Booking a villa with a company like Isle Blue who manage properties via local agents in other countries is something we would never do again. It is clunky and no one locally has any accountability for any problems which arise. This has the potential to give rise to an extremely poor holiday experience such as ours.

Fantastic experience: Everything about our trip was perfection. Isle Blue was responsive and delivered impeccable service from beginning to end. Our Concierge on site, Gio, was incredible. So sweet and helpful the whole time. Our house, Aqua, was perfection. Great location, not too far from Simpson Bay and with a beach restaurant right around the corner (Indigo). The house is clean, has a refreshing minimalist/modern decor, gorgeous bathrooms/kitchen, comfortable and has an incredible patio/pool area with a great view. Not one single complaint. We had food delivered to our house and our rental car delivered as well. We did a boat day to Anguilla, that Isle Blue arranged, which was heaven. Gio also arranged a driver - who might have been the highlight of our trip, taking great care of us. We will absolutely use Isle Blue again and hope to get to stay at Aqua.

Fantastic experience: My Wife and I had booked the Villa Paradiso Mykonos near super paradise beach a year in advance to host our wedding. We had planned with much excitement and yet unknowingness due to living overseas . The Villa dit not disappointed one bit. The only way to describe it is beautiful. The concierge service was amazing, we had filled the Villa and organizing transfer services was all done through them. They were pleasant and helped make the experience. My wife could not find a steamer for her dress and the team from the Villa arranged this with no questions asked. Every second day we had a cleaning team that had kept every detail immaculate . The pool was an amazing salt water pool where all of the guests enjoyed. We had one house set up for the people who stayed up late and the other for those who would go to bed early. Sound was not an issue. There were so many different areas to entertain. Great dinner serving location in side and outside. Oh and there were washing machines for all the guests to use. Great location for those who wanted to spend time at Super Paradise beach club. Wifi was included where all guests were able to use . Special thanks goes out to Paul for being at our service whenever needed. A truly remarkable experience!

Negative experience: I chose Beach Kandi Villa for my 40th Birthday, had I known what was going to occur I would have chosen somewhere else to visit. The first impression from walking in was the fridge wasn’t stalked with the items we asked for so they had to go out and get them, while they did we noticed a dirty dish and sponge in the sink, pool wasn’t cleaned, the bedroom door wouldn’t open to go outside, the toilet paper and toilet paper rack was on the floor in the second bedrooms bathroom, the WiFi and tv didn’t work, they left us 4 bikes that were completely not rideable with flat tires and rust all over the bikes…unfortunately I can list some other things, but overall there where people at the villa Sunday, Monday and Tuesday fixing things. It wasn’t the vacation I was looking forward to and would never return for the amount of money they charge.

They affirmed that they were aware of the issues and have addressed them while they provided your group with compensation at the end of your stay. While Villa Beach Kandi is usually one of the most popular villas on the island, we understand that it didn't meet your expectations.
Your comments are invaluable in helping us address any shortcomings with the property manager, and we greatly appreciate your input.
Negative experience: I was very disappointed with the house and the service we received. We paid 15,000 for the week at beach kandi and it was worth 5,000.(maybe) We walked in the house and there was a dirty sponge,food on the scissors,pool not cleaned,door to the pool from the main bedroom broken,wifi was not working and the ac didn't work but when they got it to work you had to shut it off to watch a movie because it was so loud. There was no beach and the water was so rocky you couldn't walk in the water. There picture of the beach and the water is false advertising. Also the concierge was awful. The chef was the only positive sevice we had. He was fantastic. I would not recommend this villa.

Fantastic experience: Our experience with Isle Blue was not good. They were less than helpful in pre-trip planning and non-existent during the trip. They omitted important information regarding the access to the villa and were very slow to rectify problems. Save yourself a lot of aggravation and enjoy a much better, carefree trip by renting from Eden Roc. They set the standard for stellar service in St Barths.
Fantastic experience: First of all, St. Bart’s was an amazing destination for our honeymoon. We booked Raisiniers villa through Isle Blue and their concierge service was top notch. They were able to set up dinner reservations and give us great recommendations for our stay. We were greeted at the airport by our personal concierge, Laetitia, and she escorted us to our villa and showed us around the place. The villa itself was lovely. It wasn’t as fancy as some of the others we saw, but it was perfect for us. It was located directly on Flamands Beach, which was so beautiful and walkable. There were a couple of hotels within walking distance where we were able to grab cocktails and snacks (or a meal) when we wanted to get something quick. We even got takeaway one night and enjoyed it on our deck overlooking the water. There was a pool that was perfect for when we wanted to cool off from the beach and sun. The inside was clean and well appointed. Our only complaint was no A/C in the main living area. A ceiling fan or even a box fan would have been nice to help move some air through that area. We were able to open all of the doors and windows and get a nice cross breeze, but sometimes the mosquitoes were quite aggressive. We just put on bug spray and it was fine. There was AC in the bedroom and that was perfect for sleeping. We just kept the door closed to keep out any insects and the cool air in. Overall, we would definitely stay here again. The owner, Christian, was so sweet and helpful with whatever we needed and cleaned when we requested it.

Positive experience: The villa was beautiful and spacious with its own private pool and access to small, intimate beach. Everything you would need is included in the villa. The only downside was no central AC in common room downstairs. AC in individuals rooms was excellent. Neighbor also has four pit bulls that barked a lot. Fantastic experience: Our little piece of paradise. We loved the ease of living in this beautiful home. We are a little older so we do wish there was a couch inside or outside but all in all it was perfect. There are a lot of stairs but it didn’t bother us and the drive up took a little getting used to because of the steepness. We enjoyed the harbor activity both during the day and the lights at night. The plunge pool was perfect way to stay cool.

Fantastic experience: My family and I stayed at the Makana last month in Discovery Bay, Jamaica and the experience exceeded our expectations! My family is made up of multiple generations from 60’s to 5 years old to celebrate some birthdays, anniversaries, and just life, and there was something for everyone. The property was clean, well manicured and maintained, and beautiful with all the amenities a private villa generally have including a private beach, hot tub, pool, patios, air conditioning, tennis/pickleball/basketball court, gym, kayaks, etc. The property felt light, open, spacious, and calming. There was an on-site full service staff and private chef and their service, accommodations, and knack for learning and anticipating our needs was top notch. They kept reminding us that we were on vacation and it was their job to serve us and we just relax and enjoy. Chef Denise and Tonya prepared fantastic dishes from scratch and made with pride and love. And the housekeeping staff along with Kevin, Devin, Henry, and Courtney took excellent care of us. One night the staff had a bon fire on the beach and the kids got to make s’mores and another night they arranged for a live band to come and perform for us. So much fun! We truly felt rested, at ease, and joyful! The weather was fantastic and the warmth was great for my soul and energy. I felt re-grounded and connected to the earth and myself. I was outside and in the water everyday and being in consistent contact with nature does wonders for our mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical health, well-being, and peace of mind. Fantastic experience: Isle Blue is definitely a game changer! This was my second time taking a trip through them but the first time that i was the one doing all the planning; their staff is responsive, and attentive and communicative. They offer so many amenities and will go above and beyond to get you whatever you feel you need to have the perfect vacation. Negative experience: The villa we rented did not have 1/2 of what was promised. The hot tub did not work. The sea wall was falling in and the grounds were being repaired. We got a small refund but felt we should have been notified of all the problems before arriving. They said they did not know about the issues - which is their job. I would not use them again.

Positive experience: The villa was beautiful; the pictures did not do it justice. The chef and maids were AMAZING! Definitely a great place to stay. The villa fit 9 people perfectly with ample space for everyone to relax. Beware: The downstairs only had A/C in the bedrooms and in one part of the living room if you do not prefer heat. Definitely read the fine print: The website states two consecutive meals are included with a chef, but it was not clear that groceries were not included. Note: Groceries are significantly more expensive in Barbados than in the United States. The villa needs to states the depth for the pool. Multiple people in my group do not swim and could not utilize the pool as it started at 5 feet on the shallow end. Suggestion: The villa should provide insect repellant and complimentary water on arrival. The mosquitoes are terrible and we were not informed prior to arrival. Would definitely come back to Barbados and stay here again just with more preparations.

Fantastic experience: We had 14 people staying at this awesome house. There was plenty of space for us to lounge around. We have traveled to other locations. Fantastic experience: Malatai exceeded our expectations. Our group of 10, plus an infant and toddler, thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our 1-week stay. The photos were beautiful, but the property was even more lovely and luxurious than anticipated. The villa was spectacular, with every amenity (kayaks, paddle boards, life vests, snorkel gear, flotation devices, tennis/pickleball/basketball court, billiard table, gym, pool, hot tub, and massage pavilion. Housekeeping tidied our rooms and baths twice a day. The villa was immaculate. The laundress kept the pool and bath towels fresh throughout the day. The groundskeeper maintained the beautiful pool and abundant grassy areas, as well as the many different flowering plants and trees. The chef/house manager and his staff prepared wonderful meals, desserts, and appetizers, some at our request, but many we left to the chef's discretion with no regrets. Our butler tended to our every need for drinks, snacks, meals, and a variety of other requests from early morning to late at night. Outdoor seating and dining, both under cover and on the grass and beach, were abundant. The villa's beach was large, beautiful, and perfect for little ones--shallow, clear, beautiful blue water. Eddie of Isle Blue was instrumental in helping us select this idyllic villa. And Mary, our Isle Blue concierge, was responsive, timely, and thorough in arranging for our driver for the week (so convenient for airport transfers and sightseeing during the week), car seats, crib, highchair, and other amenities that made this trip absolutely stress-free. Our entire group was stunned and amazed by the luxury, service, and total enjoyment of this property and staff. Thank you, Isle Blue and Malatai!

Negative experience: I misunderstood a couple things about the service that is given with Isle Blue. First, in the past, when I have booked a villa or a resort with a dedicated concierge, the concierge is there upon our arrival and books tours and reservations for us, on the spot. This is not the case with Isle Blue, that is not what they do. A person who works with the local concierge stopped by two days after we got there and explained that they don't provide that type of service. That was an assumption on my part based on past experience and that's not what is upsetting to me- just want others to know. There was also some ambiguous wording in the contract that led me to believe a meal was included. It was also a misunderstanding on my part, but reached out to Lisa upon return to try and get her to see that it could be confusing to some people. What I got back was completely bizarre, just email after email basically telling me that I was totally wrong and it could never be misunderstood, when in fact, it was misunderstood by me. I just wanted her to review their wording, but her final email was completely condescending and explained to me, as if I was a child, the different types of vacations and that this type of vacation just wasn't a good fit. Just so weird- arguing with me all day. A simple "we will review our word choice" would have completely sufficed. Anyway, there are other companies out there that I have booked through that give much, much better service so just do your research before booking with Isle Blue. *After reading your reply, you just still don't get it. I took full responsibility for my misunderstandings. I just want you to be more clear instead of arguing with me, but you just continue to prove my point with your replies.

Once a property is reserved, our concierge team provides you with arrival logistics and vacation planning before your arrival. As you may have appreciated, you had a concierge with our company that arranged your arrival logistics and handled other requests you had. Additionally, we have an Experiences platform that offers thousands of unique experiences and services worldwide that is bookable online. We have a dedicated Experiences team that procures and arranges those services. That platform is available 24/7.
We do not include a local concierge or greeting service nor state that we do. That is usually provided by the property itself if they wish to provide those services. Once again, you can have easily contacted our concierge team to assist you with booking experiences and services even when on island.
Secondly, we specifically stated in our email communications with you that food and beverage costs are not included with the villa. We do not offer all inclusive options and do not advertise as such. Our villas are self catering. We can arrange chef services a la carte and inform our clients that the cost of food and beverage is not included with the cost of the chef services.
We are sorry that you are disappointed with your experience.

As per your situation, the property owner went above and beyond in your situation and it's disappointing that there is a lack of acknowledgement on their part. It should be noted that your latest request is for a 4th postponement. Your reservation was made in 2019 for an April 2020 stay. A postponement was granted to May 2021 and shortly before that trip you asked for a postponement and were granted a postponement to October 2021. Within a few weeks prior to your trip you have asked for a another postponement to Oct 2022. The property owner did not agree to 2022 but gave you the option to postpone up to December 15, 2021 that you immediately rejected without consideration or compromise. In summary, the property owner has been exceptionally cooperative and understanding. Usually a property will only allow a guest to postpone once but they have graciously allowed you to postpone 3 times already and gave an alternate window for your 4th postponement. In summary, you have been holding dates over 2 years and there has been a lack of commitment or good faith on your part to execute your stay especially in light of your disclosure that you have several other trips lined up in the near future. We regret that you wish to cancel but the property owner acted properly and in accordance with our expectations. They can not be faulted in this situation.

As we stated before, volitional and voluntary cancellations are subject to the terms and conditions of the executed rental terms and conditions. The cancellation of the property over the New Years week at this late stage results in a deposit being forfeited. Additionally, a protest against the public health measures of Turks and Caicos does not qualify for special consideration of the vacation rental. If you wish to be anti-vaccine then so be it but there will be no special consideration for a willful cancellation. The property owner should not be penalized for personal decisions that have no bearing on the rental and the decision not to travel to the island. The island is welcoming guests and travel remains uninterrupted. Best wishes for your future travels.

Negative experience: Very upset with this company. We booked a trip to Turks & Caicos and after we booked... Turks & Caicos came out with a statement that they would require all tourists to be vaccinated in order to enter the Islands. We explained this to Isle Blue along with the fact that we would like to cancel and receive a refund and they were completely unforgiving of this even going as far to explain that this is now a "pandemic of the unvaccinated" which quite frankly is none of their business what I choose to do with my body. They are not allowing any refunds even though these are unexpected and unwarranted circumstances. Now they are cancelling my reservation without my consent after I told them not to since they weren't offering any refunds. This company won't even talk to you on the phone. Not professional and horrible customer service. Stay far away from this company.
Fantastic experience: After almost 2 years of planning our trip to the BVI's Lisa Abbott our vacation specialist was able to help us out. With the Pandemic last year we had to reschedule 2 times. Lisa tried to help us out with different vacation spots but the dates with COVID never materialized. We were becoming so anxious. During these two years a few of us have developed some health issues. Lisa and Isle Blue were very understanding and compassionate in helping us acquire a refund. Hopefully in the future we can book once again and enjoy world through Isle Blue. Thanks again Lisa
Good day Eileen, Thank you for your review. We understand the frustration that COVID has imposed on travel. Please note that each villa sets their own cancellation and COVID rebooking policies. We understand the entry requirements for BVIs can cause some inconvenience. Unfortunately, these issues are outside of our control. While properties do not offer refunds, they have been allowing clients to use their credit for future stays at the property. I am happy that we have provided you with an exceptional resolution to this issue. We look forward to welcoming you to our villas in the near future.
Negative experience: We booked through this company only to have surprises and over priced charges daily. The only thing that saved this trip is the local help. Everything the supposed concierge was supposed to set up was inconsistent and/ over priced. Please if you choose to use this service, don’t use Andrea. If you disregard this warning, you’ll regret having booked with Isle Blue. She’s in a different country and her time difference shows through her poor customer service. And to top it off, she called trying to charge me for extra security two days before we left when nothing was needed in the first place. We were all cleared our first day. And the security, was nothing more than a local paid to call authorities if you left your villa. Yet, we had to pay $300 daily to be baby sat? GTFOH. We paid one day and then she wants to come calling for another $300 after the fact.
Good day. We will be happy to address your concern. We looked into the matter and there are several mis-representations. First of all, you are conflating our company with the local property manager. We do not have an Andrea within our company. Secondly, we would encourage you to speak with your traveling group. All necessary information and advice was provided to your group. Unfortunately, communication with your group was a bit of a challenge. For instance, you provided us with 3 different emails just for you. Moreover, your group would arrange services and then no-show the services. For example, speaking with the local property manager, your group booked a masseuse to come to the villa and no-showed the appointment.
In regards to the security monitoring concern, the island of Barbados requires a short quarantine until you are cleared by the government. Villas allow the option to quarantine at the property under a stipulation that 24 hour monitoring is in place to ensure no group member violates the quarantine. The cost of this monitoring is the responsibility of the guest. This requirement and cost of the monitoring service was disclosed to you before your trip. While I understand that you may have been cleared by the government, the rest of your party was not cleared until the following day since they arrived a day later. This is why the local manager charged for an additional day for the security monitoring which is a $230 charge. I would recommend that you speak with the local manager to clear up any confusion on the matter. Have a safe trip home.
Fantastic experience: Used these guys for a vacation rental in St. Martin....hands down one of the best vacations I've ever taken. With Isle Blue you can find a amazing place to stay and feel like a millionaire!!...already scoping out their website for our next vacation!! Get a few friends together and the sky is the limit...you could be billionaires for a week!!
