Negative experience: New member who mistakenly thought I could just walk into Chambersburg's HUGE storefront store and get some friendly information about discounts, trip ideas, maps brochures, etc. There was only ONE woman in there talking to small group. So we decided to wait until they were done. She rudely says loudly "What do you need help with, a cruise??!!" No, we are new and would like to talk. "Well I only do cars. You'll have to come back when the cruise lady is her. Here's her card!!"---I NEVER mentioned anything about cruises. She was LAZY and just trying to get rid of us. RUDE A shame this HUGE "store" in Chambersburg PA is almost empty with ONE employee and ZERO brochures, maps ,etc. They only seem to be open the hours people work.... Wish I NEVER would have joined AAA
Fantastic experience: Very kind and courteous. Knowledgeable and assisted over and above what I thought is required. We had a death in the family and tying up lose ends. The ladies were compassionate and found all the information that I needed, to make this as painless as possible

Negative experience: Been a AAA member for years but will not be renewing my membership. Called to see if they could get me a better price on a flight and was told she was booked for over 2 weeks. Seems pretty crazy just to see if they can offer me a AAA discount. Definitely do not recommend!

Negative experience: Terrible when you call them you never find them I don't like the service at all. My car broke down I called triple A I spent almost the whole day before they send someone to tow my car.

Negative experience: Terrible customer service. Utterly useless. Do not waste your money on these people. They do not do their job to assist and went out of their way to make getting a tow difficult. Would avoid at all cost. Chambersburg AAA is terrible and I doubt the company will do anything about it. They use to have a good reputation this branch has sullied it for me.

Negative experience: Finally after 10 hours and the third driver that they said they sent someone finally came. Terrible customer service, I ask for an ETA on when the driver would come and they refused to find out for me.

Negative experience: AAA towed my vehicle to the wrong location, even tho the updated address was submitted through THEIR ways of doing it! Awful. And then they cannot be bothered to fix their mistakes!!! Useless.

Fantastic experience: An AAA Membership is de rigueur for any well traveled person. Chambersburg office offers all your auto travel needs as well as auto licenses and other amenities. I have been an Auto Club member since my parents gave me one upon the purchase of my first car in 1972! Always excellent Service. *They also sell the famous Canadian "Tilley" bush hats of which I have owned three over 30 years...not because they wear out but because I keep loosing them! Expensive but worth it!

Negative experience: Real bad ordeal A simple flat tire. We tried to change it ourselves after calling for roadside service. The AAA rep said 1 hour. Well after the car shifted, the jack was wedged sideways under the car. . 2 hours later the AAA rep said no one could come help. Had to call a relative from a different state to rescue us. We are middle age sisters, stranded in a parking lot. Thanks for nothing. We are both AAA members. That will change at renewal time.

Negative experience: Don't get insurance thru them. Policy was cancelled 6 months ago they still kept charginge monthy policy. Sent me to collections. Finally they fixed it 3 months ago and sent me another bill 3 months later saying they were sending me to collections. The idiots there will ruin you credit. Incompetent

Fantastic experience: Went in to transfer title if a vehicle that I sold for my deceased aunt. Kelley gave wonderful service from start to finish. She was very knowledgeable about the process and what needed to be done (it was a sale by an estate). She even told me about turning in the plate (I'm from out of state). Fantastic experience: We have been members of AAA for 25 years. We have always been met with great service, information and just overall nice people. Even when calling with travel questions when not using their services necessarily. We weren't going to use a tour so weren't using their travel agency to plan our trip but their representative Joyce was so friendly and helpful about everything I asked. We were able to get our passport pictures taken and we plan to get our International Drivers Permits there as well. Great services and easy to obtain.

Negative experience: They don't know what they are doing very dissatisfied with their service. They told me i had to get my stepson to sign off of a title that I didn't have to and because of the information they told me i wasn't able to get it signed off and come to find out I didn't need him to sign off and to make a long story short I lost a 2014king ranch expedition. Because they wouldn't send in the title without his signature. I later after the bank took the vehicle found out that i never needed his signature. Now the bank has it and i can't get it back.

Negative experience: I’ve been with AAA since 1968. Insured cars and homes in two other states and dealt with many agents. Chambersburg AAA rep Karen Brandt has been very difficult first in insuring my home and now my new car. If she is this frustrating in just writing a policy, imagine the nightmare if I ever had to file a claim (which I’ve only done once). Will be shopping for new insurance company.

Fantastic experience: I came for passport photos and it was very quick and easy. Staff are very friendly. Tip: Passport photos are free if you have AAA Plus or higher!
