Fantastic experience: Michelle Brock is my travel agent for life!! Michelle always made me feel that my trip is just as important to her as it is to me. Working with her on my plans is like working with a friend. Our first week was spent in Scotland, we had 3 small group tours, and a walking tour of Edinburgh, thanks to Michelle’s work, it was a week of beauty and joy. We are already certain that our next vacation will be planned with Michelle. We are now in a lovely hotel in London and know this week will be wonderful as well. 12 November 2024– Just want to add that here we are two years later and we have used the same travel agent to plan another stunning trip to Scotland. I can earnestly say that Michelle Brock continues to be fabulous at what she does, we are on the last three days of another vacation filled with the most wonderful tours and places to stay. These days, knowing quality has persisted over a two year period is so valuable. I hope this review helps others to choose to call World Travel and, even better, to ask for our agent, Michelle Brock!

Negative experience: I wanted to take a trip to Vegas. I had used this company previously for my last two trips. The customer service was horrible. I was transferred about 3 times to people who didn't know why I was transferred to them. I was told I was getting a warm transfer, just for someone to get back on the line and tell me they had no idea what I was talking about, and I needed a Travel Agent. I guess I will find a new Travel Agency.

Fantastic experience: Marty helped my wife and I plan a cruise to Alaska on Regent from Vancouver and then a drive from Anchorage to Denali. Then we rode the train back to Anchorage and flew home. Everything went great and the details were handled very well by Marty. My kids still regard that as the best family trip we have ever taken!

Fantastic experience: It wasn’t funny, but I had to laugh at the singularly awful rebooking option offered to me by the airline when my flight was cancelled due to bad weather. Fortunately, World Travel had booked my flight. I called and their heroic agent swooped in with much more reasonable alternatives. I don’t know how she did it, but I woke up in my own bed the next morning. World Travel is awesome!!!

Fantastic experience: These guys are awesome.

Negative experience: Called Tuesday about booking a Caribbean cruise with airfare and pre and post trip hotel stays. They said they would contact me Wednesday with some options. Never heard back from them on Wednesday. Called again Thursday about my request. I was patched thru to their voicemail. I left another request. It’s past 5pm on Friday now, and still no response from World Travel in Tulsa. Not good.

Fantastic experience: Dawn Snyder with World Travel in Tulsa helped me plan my 50th birthday in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico in December 2020. We decided to proceed with our trip, even though COVID was still on the radar. I have to say, the experience was fabulous considering. Dawn picked the Nobu Hotel for us in Cabo and it was far better than expected. The staff was incredible. The hotel was pristine. The food was A++. The weather of Chamber of Commerce. Cool, but comfortable evenings. High 70's and pure sunshine. All of Dawn's suggestions were on point and the trip was basically seamless for us. We are glad we stayed the course with the trip and actually liked traveling better during COVID. The hotel was only 30% booked, which was nice for us. Completely social distanced. Tons of staff to serve us. We felt like royalty. And the friendly people of Mexico were so happy to have us there. They NEED us there. We felt really good about helping them ultimately provide for their families during these trying times. The hotel was UBER clean. We NEVER saw a single staff member without a mask on. They were constantly cleaning and disinfecting EVERYTHING. I felt 100% safe and would not hesitate to go back. As a matter of fact, we're ready to go somewhere again very soon and plan to use Dawn and the World Travel team to help us get there! And the best part, we went with 6 other couples and so far, we are all COVID free. Travel. Go. Life is too short. Just be safe about it.

Negative experience: Had a hard time getting in touch with our agent, Carol. I would email, and usually didn't get a response, even before Covid. Had to cancel our trip because of Covid, and still had trouble getting a hold of our agent. Was able to get another agent to cancel. Since canceling, waiting on refund. I have emailed our original person several times with no answer.

Fantastic experience: Before meeting and traveling with Marti Alexander, my husband and I would have never considered using a travel agency outside of California where we live. Now, we wouldn't consider any other. Marti is incredible. My husband has told me that he values my opinion but he really trusts Marti and he knows she won't let him down. So he listens to her over me. :-) Through Marti, we have also met Brenda Gierhart and believe that she, too, is excellent based on comments from fellow travelers. Marti loves outdoor adventure and new experiences, but also fine dining and luxury - and how to combine them. We are more than happy with Marti Alexander and we wouldn't go anywhere else. Fantastic experience: We enjoyed an absolutely fabulous Norwegian Cruise cruise this past summer put together by Marti Alexander at World Travel. TWO weeks of first class everything. Viking Cruise. Tours. Air Travel. You name it. Marti managed it all. She took care of everything. All we had to do was show up (and well, pay for it!).

Fantastic experience: We enjoyed a great Viking Cruise to the Baltic Sea countries coordinated by World Travel. All aspects of the journey were arranged to perfection. Fantastic experience: World Travel handled the arrangements for our Viking Baltic Cruise and they left no stone unturned! They arranged group meetings, tours, handled our tkts and advised us as to what we would need for overseas travel. Marti and Brenda were flexible and easy to work with and we would not go anywhere else for our travel planning.

Negative experience: Ive tried reaching out to Tamira 3 times about booking a cruise. I sent her an email telling her that I specifically wanted to go to Jamaica. None of the cruise she sent me had Jamaica. I asked her 3 more times after not hearing back for her for over 4 weeks. She never responded. Do not use her as your travel agent. Called again today to work with another travel agent. Gave the travel agent the offer ID of the cruise I was looking for. She couldn’t find it. Seems like these people are very lazy and can’t do their jobs....

Fantastic experience: Dawn Snyder was great to work with! She helped my husband and I find the perfect hotel for our honeymoon in Saint Lucia. She arranged all the travel arrangements and made everything go smoothly. Even when we had flight troubles, she called the hotel and notified them immediately! I would highly recommend to work with her!

Fantastic experience: We have had Tamira book all of our Mexico vacations. We had issues with our flights being cancelled over this past Labor Day weekend. She was always available to answer our questions and help us get our flights rescheduled no matter what time of day it was. We had a party of 16 couples and she was able to get everyone of us re-booked and on our way to Mexico. I highly recommend her to book your trip if you are thinking about going on vacation.

Negative experience: I called and asked for information on flights, hotels, tickets,etc.to Hershey and Philadelphia,PA. I was supposed to receive an email the next day after lunch to compare prices of different options available. Never received the email. Called she was away from her desk and then she as told she was out of the office. When I explained why I did not want to leave a voicemail all that I was told was I understand.
