Apple Vacations Inc: Reviews

1.6/5 (60 Reviews)

Negative experience: Absolutely unacceptable. Spirit canceled our flight and we only found out at the airport — zero notification, zero communication. They didn’t arrange any alternative flight, we lost a paid hotel night, and they refused to compensate us for anything. They also couldn’t even help extend the hotel by one day, despite the trip being planned that way. This airline takes no responsibility whatsoever. Avoid them at all costs — choose another carrier or organize your trips yourself.

Negative experience: If I could give a 0 star rating, I would. The travel agent messed up one of the names on the flight itinerary & waited until the last minute to fix it. Huge headache to call them multiple times only to be ignored over a little issue with a simple fix. Such an unnecessary hassle. Don’t even waste your time, money and energy with this company. Not worth it.

Negative experience: After the resort we were due to stay at later this month was closed down due to Hurricane Melissa, Apple's team has repeatedly — for months now — misrepresented our rights and attempted to pressure us into accepting travel credits. That is both unacceptable and unlawful. FACTS (all documented): 1. Secrets Wild Orchid Montego Bay has cancelled all upcoming stays due to Hurricane Melissa and has publicly announced closure. 2. This is a supplier-initiated cancellation, not a traveler cancellation. 3. A full refund is required under DOT rules, state consumer protection laws, and your own industry obligations. 4. Apple told me the flight portion is non-refundable. JetBlue has confirmed directly to me that the fare IS fully refundable and that Apple Vacations’ statements to the contrary were inaccurate. 5. Apple representatives have repeatedly insisted that we accept travel credits — despite the resort closure — and have continued to call and pressure my wife every other day after repeatedly being told no. Their response to a BBB case I initiated contained multiple false statements, all of which have now been documented in writing: – Misrepresenting the airfare restrictions. – Misrepresenting travel protection applicability. – Misrepresenting the resort cancellation status. – Misrepresenting what their own agents told us. This qualifies as consumer deception and unfair business practice under the laws of Maryland (my state), Pennsylvania (your principal place of business), and federal regulation. My next steps, if this isn't resolved in 5 days, wil be to file: – A DOT Aviation Consumer Protection complaint. – A Maryland Attorney General Consumer Protection Division complaint. – A Pennsylvania Attorney General complaint. – A credit card chargeback for services not provided (supplier cancelled). – An escalated update to the BBB with full evidence of misrepresentation. – A complaint to Hyatt Inclusive Collection consumer advocacy. – A formal complaint with ASTA (American Society of Travel Advisors). These are not hypothetical — they are my guaranteed next actions. Each is drafted and ready to be sent. DO NOT do business with these people. They are absolutely unethical and predatory.

Negative experience: This company is not a good company to use for your vacation… just money hungry.

Negative experience: I cannot be more disappointed by the service of Apple Vacations. Not only did it take 3 years for AV to provide me access to my travel credit for a previously cancelled trip due to medical emergency, but now simply trying to modify my booking dates, I was left on a silent phone call for upwards of 1 hour, after previously spending 2 hours on the phone already. All I wanted to do was modify the travel dates by ONE DAY. This is unacceptable and I currently still don’t have my reservation revised after 3+ hours on the phone. This company should straight up be shut down, I don’t know how their leadership isn’t in hot water with how poorly their company & employees treat customers.

Negative experience: Apple Vacations delivered one of the most disappointing customer experiences I’ve had in the travel industry. After booking under Travel Confirmation B4H323AB, I learned that the same room and dates were later offered at a price $161.40 lower than what I had already paid. I submitted clear proof and requested a standard rate adjustment. The company declined to correct the discrepancy and offered no meaningful explanation. This situation reflects poor business practice and a lack of transparency. When a company advertises one price and then shows a significantly lower rate shortly after purchase, customers deserve fair treatment and a straightforward resolution. That didn’t happen here. I won’t book with Apple Vacations again. Travelers should be cautious and monitor price changes closely because the company isn’t proactive in addressing them and doesn’t seem committed to supporting customers after the sale.

Negative experience: WOULD GIVE 0 if I could. Won't go through apple ever again, they sold us trip insurance and said if the price goes down we can use the insurance and they would reimburse us. I mentioned that on the web site it said no refunds with this hotel, but the guy who sold it to us said the insurance would still cover a reduction in price. He lied and they do this on purpose. The trip went down 700 and we are stuck with the price we paid. We will never use Apple Vacations again I have tried for a week to get someone to call me and they just send me an email saying they can't do anything. One of the reasons we have used apple for years is the Customer service. They NO Longer have that.

Negative experience: Would give zero stars if possible. This company sent me to a rip-off "luxury" resort in Antigua on my Honeymoon. Literally no food to eat, had to clean the kitchen in our bungalow, served us an open bottle of wine. I could go on about the resort. More importantly, I am now suing the company for the costs associated with having to leave this dump and go elsewhere. They refused to give me a full refund and demanded that my credit card allow a $5,000 charge for ONE NIGHT. Disgusting business.

Negative experience: 2024 We booked a trip to Mexico. A hurricane was coming towards Mexico. We had insurance but they took our $200 bc it wasn't a category 4 hurricane. It was very bad

Negative experience: 0 stars if it were an option. Went on trip to Punta Cana in October 2024. Booked through hyatt exclusive (i guess they use alg vacations on the back end) basically the resort we went to (a hyatt resort) was a dump and we only stayed there 24 hours (was the soonest we could get out). get it worked out with resort staff management that we would get a refund for the rest of the nights we didn't use. Basically have been in a feud with hyatt, alg, sunscape resort, our credit card co, and the payment vendor ever since. It is January 7, 2025 and alg vacation still owes me $1,125.54. On hold right now trying to get this figured out. Thought I would share my experience while on hold and save someone some grief. If they address my issues promptly today, I will remove this post. Bottom line: Find another travel service

Negative experience: They were the worst to ever deal with. We got stuck in Puerta Vallerta for an extra night because they canceled our flight and refused to get us another one. They didn't accommodate for the extra $1000 for a flight home. They did nothing but take our money. An absolute fraud! Never again! Do not use them! Find someone else for travel. They should be closed down

Negative experience: An apple representative booked our flight and resort. He said he would email the confirmation But he did not. we had to call back three times before getting a person on the phone who emailed the confirmation information. However, when we looked at the information for the trip, my name was spelled incorrectly and my grandchild, age 11, would be seated with a stranger on a 4 HOUR flight. When we spoke to the representative named Kevin, he said he could not make any changes and offered to notify the airport of the changes BUT our confirmation could not be updated and would not reflect these changes. Needless to say we cancel the reservation… with that being said, Apple Travel lost a customer and our $5000 worth of business.

Negative experience: I used this company in 2018, before covid, all went perfect and this year we were too confident and went with them all inclusive out of country-Mexico. This company offers transportation to/from airport and resort. On the day we were going back, the driver was late to pick is up and that wasn’t enough, he made two extra stops to pick other passengers from other resorts. Our trip that was scheduled to be 45 min one way to airport, end up being 2.5 hours. We barely made it; imagine different country, driver “wasn’t speaking English” one of a sudden, and taking my family through the neighborhoods in Mexico… . I called Apple vacation and they put me on hold for 45 min, they were trying to get in contact with the driver, total mess. Their excuse was, shared transportation. When i asked why the driver was late, the answer i got was, we will investigate. In all, all the time we had spent there was ruined by the last day out. Never ever I would use Apple vacation again.

Negative experience: Would give 0 stars if able. Had a passport mishap on the day of travel. I called Apple and asked whether I could change the flight or if it was easier to cancel and rebook. I was told I would be assessed a 1 day penalty on the hotel. After trying to contact Apple for months, they told me that they decided they weren't going to refund me a cent. I will never book with them again (I previously booked 3 trips a year with them).

Negative experience: OVERBOOKED THE DAY WE ARRIVED! We arrived on a Tuesday afternoon and as soon as we got to the hotel the front desk was a mess with people crying and very upset. We talked to someone and they said we are sorry they are overbooked and we don't have any rooms for you. We thought they were joking but nope. We had booked a 2 bedroom suite for my wife and I and our 3 kids months before though Apple Vacations. The front desk said they could put us up in the RIU Caribbean next door which was a step below the palace, smaller, and did not have room service or beach service. They did not offer any compensation for the downgrade even though we paid more. My wife was not happy and refused to accept that. The front desk told us to wait and they came back 10 minutes later after talking to others about moving them to the Caribbean as well. They told us they found two rooms in the palace but they weren't next to each other. Only one was ready and the other would be ready later that evening and then they would move us to two rooms together which is their 2 bedroom suite... We reluctantly agreed and at least had one room to go to. We all piled and hung out for a while and explored the hotel. We went back to the front desk at 8 because we had not heard anything to get keys to the other room. They gave us keys and said we were set and we could keep one room the next day until our other rooms together were ready. We got settled in and as my kids were getting ready for bed and took one with me to the new room. I opened up the door and knew something was wrong... I saw stuff all over and luckily no people but it was obvious I walked into someone else's room. We went back to the front desk and told them what happened and they apologized and said someone gave our other room away! We asked what was going to happen now and they said they had no rooms for us and it was too late to go to the Caribbean. They said they would make it up to us, but we had to stay in one room the first night. They brought us two roll out beds and we crammed ourselves in for the night. The next day they moved us to a 2 bedroom suite on the 15th floor which they claim was an upgrade when though that's what we paid for. That day they called and said they would get us dinner reservations to any restaurant even though they weren't even that busy. We emailed Apple Vacations and they said they would talk to the hotel and make things right. Apple emailed back and said the hotel upgraded us and gave us a room so they weren't going to do anything!!! They also said the hotel told them they had adjacent rooms ready that first night but there was a maintenance issue with one of the rooms which is not what the hotel told us. The hotel told us the places like Apple Vacations overbooked them and it wasn't their fault. The hotel had mentioned giving us free nights in the future, etc, which we really didn't want after this experience. Apparently after our upgrade that all went away even though I thought that's what we paid for... We emailed Apple back and they said they would look into it again with the hotel, and we still haven't heard back 4 days later. The hotel itself is okay. A lot of pools. Small beach. Lots of sea grass. Pools close really early at 6. Rooms have zero privacy with open bathrooms. Hallways are incredibly hot as are the elevators. My son loved the iguanas walking around.

Negative experience: Booked via a travel Agent who used Apple Vacations. Apple Vacations promised the following: 2 bottles of wine, and upgraded mini bar snacks stocked upon arrival. $80 value per room. Complimentary Upgraded Mini Bar inclusions include: 1.Bottle of House Merlot Red Wine 2.Bottle of Sparkling Wine 3.Fanta 4.Soda Water 5.Tonic 6.Cranberry Juice 7.Local Fruit Juice 8.Sealed nuts and dry fruit 9.Potato Chips 10.Sealed local candy 11.M&M’s 12. Receive $300 in resort credits to enhance your stay. Guests will receive $300 in resort credits per room per stay to be used towards spa, dinner, experiences, and much more! In my opinion, Apple Vacations copied these amenities from the Resort website. The resort did not honor what was listed. NONE OF IT! Apple vacations was contacted during my trip to address the issues. I have been home for 5 days and still not received any resolve. If you see a resort on their website that you like, book directly with the resort. It will probably costs the same or less than what Apple charges. NEVER EVER AGAIN WILL I BOOK USING APPLE.

Negative experience: Traveled in November to the Bahamas. All was going good till flight was canceled. They told us that that is the only airline they use for that island and we would either have to leave early, stay another day, or book our own flight with another airline. They kept saying it's not their fault or problem, it was the airline that canceled the flight. What is the point of using a travel agent and paying more for the trip if you get 0 help from them. Lost out because my tickets home were $700. Never again

Negative experience: I booked a destination wedding all inclusive. I had asked for a 5 star hotel. I did not get that. The day before my departure two people in my group could not attend, because they had contracted Covid. I called my travel agency the day before departure to let them know. The travel agency had tried to contact the hotel, but they could not get through. The phone just kept ringing, they did get through in the morning. I purchased travel protection through Apple tours. However, later I had found out I would not get a refund on any party members who couldn’t attend. Even though when purchasing the travel protection I had told the travel agent, I was on the phone saying that I’d be getting it in case anyone couldn’t attend. Upon arrival I had upgraded my rooms because of the reviews I read online that weren’t so great with this hotel. Then I had told the Concierge that we had two people that could not attend because of Covid. Apple Tours is telling me the hotel will not refund the money because they need proof of Covid. Had I known this I would’ve told the two young ladies to go get a Covid test at the doctors versus taking it at home. Apple Tours is now telling me that the hotel does not want to give me a refund. My wedding was a total disaster, what was supposed to be the happiest day of my life turned out to be horrible because it was not a five star hotel. I have been going back-and-forth with the Apple Tours, and the hotel in regards to my refunds that are due to me. They ignore your emails, they ignore your phone calls, Apple Tours and the hotel are so unprofessional. I had to keep calling and emailing Apple Tours and when they did pick up I was on the phone with them for 3 hours. I even had to sit on the phone with them for 7 hours on my one day off. I am still waiting for a response from the wedding department and from the general manager on what needs to be done. I was definitely robbed from Apple Tours and the hotel. My wedding was late August 2023. I was also promised a bunch of perks in the honeymoon suite, most of which were not honored. I tried to retrieve these perks, and I was ignored. This is most definitely not a five star hotel. This cost me about 30k for 4 nights between airfare, hotel, and wedding department. For only 7 adults and 2 kids. JetBlue out of everyone did refund me. Do not book Apple Tours.

Negative experience: I would give 0 stars if available. I am very angry that a unexpected death has caused so much heartache. Apple Vacations will not relinquish credits that now belong to my sister in order for her to enjoy A Costa Rica adventure that was pre booked. Very upset.

Negative experience: I used to love going through them for vacations but they are unreasonable. I worked all throughout the pandemic and couldn't travel. I had surgery on my back the following year and was unable to travel therefore not able to use my travel credits then either. They told me "That's unfortunate but you're not getting your $500 back." Not giving them another dime. This company is a scam!

Negative experience: Horrible, horrible. Payment system doesn't work. Customer Service is slow to respond to inquiries after reservation is booked & then when you get a response, they only provide a small portion of the information you requested. Due to this we have missed out on numerous upgrades & options that should've been offered from the beginning. Very disappointed & we haven't even went on the trip yet.

Negative experience: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Booked a trip for 5 on June 17, cancelled June 19th - Trip was booked for March. Have email confirmation of a full refund to CC - refund supposed to be completed by Aug. 18 - Just spent 4 hours on phone with them - Was told I have travel credits, not a full refund - Sent them email confirming full refund, now have been told I have to wait another 30 days for refund to take effect. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. They take your money, lie, won't return emails, won't let you talk to anyone in accounting department, head office, etc. All Customer Service has been outsourced - Terrible Company. I've filed a complaint with the BBB - Still waiting on the phone for this issue to be dealt with.

Negative experience: Read all one (1) star reviews, they are not lying. I had the same exact experience going to Costa Rica. Cancelled flights, added stops, added hotel days and most importantly, NO CAR SEAT FOR INFANT UNDER 1 YEAR OLD. We had to drive holding him for over an hour to the airport. If we didn't, we would have missed our flight and started from scratch. Disgusting company, pathetic excuses, terrible customer service, terrible company. The company will likely go bankrupt with these ongoing issues.

Negative experience: Made the mistake of booking a trip to Puerto Rico w/ Apple. NEVER AGAIN!! The airline used in their package was terrible (Frontier). On our return flight on 3/19/22, after ever changing excuses on delays all day, our flight is cancelled. We were left stranded in Puerto Rico with no way home and provided no help. After 4 hrs working to make alternate arrangements, I called Apple's support number for issues while on my trip. Waited forever to get someone and when I did all they did was express fake empathy and telling me that I should contact their post travel help team when I actually get home. Thanks for nothing on that front, some in trip support team. Experience gets worse as the post travel support team was even more useless. Opened a "case" for me that will take 30-45 days, asked to speak to a supervisor as the airline claim process requires quicker turn around and was denied. Alleged call back never happened as promised either. When I asked if the post care team employee worked for Apple Vacations he said he couldn't answer that. No wonder service sucks at this place, they farmed out any customer service to BS contractors. They will happily take your money and offer you NOTHING in return. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT USE these clowns. Worst experience I have ever had.

Negative experience: 4/22 - I have been a customer of Apple for a number of years... did a destination wedding to Punta Cana and had an amazing experience. Most recently, I booked a trip to Mexico for May. I received an email saying my flight was changed from a direct to connecting... was supposed to arrive at 10ish... now arriving at 5pm. No explanation, no options.. called three times and was disconnected all 3 times. Chose the call back option... they said 82 mins... it’s been 4 hours. I am extremely frustrated. If Apple doesn’t do something to fix this issue, I can’t see myself doing business with Apple again. Someone finally called me at 7:30 pm. Told me it would be an additional $1600 to book an alternative direct flight... and that since Apple has no control, they will not offer any kind of discount on the rate. Not their fault. 4/23 - Another day, same issue. Transferred to a line with a 246 minute wait?? I customers have to wait 246 minutes, you need to hire more people. Three calls, same result. For the record, they did give me a $200 credit towards my next vacation. Not sure this was the best solution, but at least it was an acknowledgment of the issue. Give credit where credit is due.

Negative experience: This was literally the worse booking experience I have ever had. I was rebooked an hour away from my original destination. My original booking was an upgraded room and I did not receive an upgraded room when they rebooked me. I called customer service and they transferred me to the wrong department after being on hold for 2 hours. I am really unhappy with this company. I will never book with them again!! BETTER TO GO WITH ANY OTHER TRAVLE SITE THAN THIS PLACE!!!

Negative experience: Do yourself a favor and find another travel agency. My travel agent Amirah screwed our trip up so bad.. she “made a mistake” and chose the wrong plan so we can’t cancel and get money back, only travel credit. We can’t get a manager on the line cus they said we have to go through the agent.. I’m so stressed out about it I’m not even excited for this damn trip.

Negative experience: Worst place ever to get a vacation package. This company do not care customers that all. I been calling two days in a row and every single person said something different every time. They lie to customers because they make sure that they attached to their website the good reviews bad they never mention the bad one that are a tons. Please do not do any business with this company they play with the customers money.

Negative experience: Apple vacations had me booked until the 18th. Resort had me booked until the 17th. I was basically held hostage in a foreign country to pay for another day or I’d be picked out. Resort blamed Apple. Apple blamed the resort. Both sides are saying the other should refund me. I got SCAM by someone. Can’t call Apple cause it takes over an hour to get in contact. The resort also had 0 excursions booked when I had confirmations through Apple. There is a very clear disconnection between Apple and RIU. The customer gets screwed in the process.

Negative experience: This is the biggest disaster ever my vacation was cancelled due to covid then my second booking the hotel had let us know they decided to do a remodel so we had to be changed to another hotel when I called to change hotels the apple worker changed my flight when it did not need to be changed and now I am out $2,000 because of his error .......and nobody can get my money back ....... you can’t talk to the same person twice so everytime I call back they have to try to figure out what happened just today alone I’ve been on the phone for 4.5 hours

Negative experience: We booked a Honeymoon Back in December 2019, for an April 2020 trip to Mexico. Naturally it was disrupted by Covid 19 and the trip was cancelled on March 24th. We followed their instructions to the T nd requested a credit towards a future trip. As of Aug 31st. and a full 5 months of trying, we only managed to get a couple email responses but they cannot provide any update, status, or info on our credit request. We were only offered to call their 800-number, but you cannot get through to anyone there either. All you get is a pre-recorded message that says they are processing refunds/credits from July....3 months after our credit request date. We've been in limbo for almost 6 months now with zero correspondence or ability to get any info or response from them. Thousands of dollars that we may never see. We've now request a refund instead of a credit as the credit expiration date is fast approaching. And we couldn't even use our credit to re-book if we wanted to. All while they are happily claiming to be open for business and booking new trips. Its very suspect. I cant imagine what it would be like to have a problem while out of the country and have to deal with this terrible excuse for customer service. At this point we probably wont get a hold of someone till after credit has expired and the money is gone. Its basically criminal behavior. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! UPDATE. After posting this, I got a hold of them. Imagine that. Now getting the runaround and they are claiming that even though we cancelled the trip based on their instructions. They never followed through with flight cancellations, and are saying that is our fault and trying reduce a refund considerably. Even though instructions and policy clearly state, that no further action was needed and that a full amount refund is provided. I'm quoting their own policy to them and sharing it with them, yet they are refusing to honor it. I cant stress enough how terrible this company is.

Fantastic experience: This review is for "Apple Leisure Group Client Notifications Dept"... Months ago my husband & I booked a getaway through Southwest Vacations online to celebrate our 5-year wedding anniversary. Recently we were notified that our resort is no longer available during our travel time due to change in ownership/management. So we needed to re-select. Matt, Jeff & Ashley all in the Client Notifications Dept at Apple Leisure Group helped us successfully transfer our pre-paid booking & extras over to our next desired resort. We appreciate their efforts in assisting us with this process. We can't wait for our anniversary trip in Nov. Thanks!

Negative experience: DON'T BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. Booked vacation 6 days ago and just found our we need Negative Covid Tests to travel 72 hours before our flight. This was not mentioned during the booking process. We spent $9,436.36 on booking an all inclusive vacation to Aruba. We spoke with an agent and she said nothing about this having to have a Covid Test. If we cancel now (6 days later) It will cost us $1,500. If it comes back positive, there is no refund. There are five of us. If we don't cancel and roll the dice, we could be out $9,436.36 and not be legally able to travel.

Negative experience: DON'T BOOK WITH APPLE VACATIONS RIGHT NOW! We spent $9,436.36 on booking an all inclusive vacation to Aruba through Apple Vacations on 8-17-2020. We spoke with an agent and she said nothing about this having to have a Covid Test. If we cancel now (6 days later) It will cost us $1,500. Now they are telling us that we have to do a Covid test 72 hours prior to departure. If it comes back positive, there is no refund. There are five of us. If we don't cancel and roll the dice, we could be out $9,436.36 and not be legally able to travel.

Negative experience: Earlier this year I booked a trip though Apple Vacations to travel to Cancun, Mexico on March 20, 2020. All travel was cancelled because of the Corona virus. Apple Vacations had a note on their website that there was nothing for me to do. They would either rebook the trip or issue a refund within 90 days. After numerous phone calls and waiting on hold (sometimes) up to two hours, the phone would disconnect. I also submitted an online refund request on April 2, 2020 (for which I received a return email stating that my refund request had been received. As of today, I finally got through today and, I submitted another refund request on line. First I was told that they couldn't find my original refund request, then I was told that I would have to wait another 90 days to receive my refund. I asked numerous times to speak with a supervisor or manager and the same person (Daniel Coridobar) said they told him to tell me that I would just have to wait on my refund. Apple vacations is open for business and booking trips again, business as usual; however, they have not refunded my money. I paid $1,320.57 for a trip which was charged to my credit card. The trip was cancelled and I have waited the 90 days and still have not received a refund nor a response as to when it will be refunded.

Negative experience: Don’t book with this company! They are HORRIBLE! Our vacation was cancelled due to Covid with communication they sent on March 21st. They told us that it would take up to 90 days in order for us to receive our refund, which is already absurd. Well yesterday made 90 days and not one of us have received a refund. This company is what travel nightmares are made of and this was due to a pandemic out of our control. I can’t imagine how they would handle any other situation. Please RUN fast in the opposite direction.

Negative experience: Had planned a trip to Mexico for a wedding May 2020. In March it became apparent the trip was not going to happen due to the COVID pandemic. Not only did the travel agent give me pushback about not committing the final payment ("there's only 10 cases in Mexico") but they failed to provide a full refund on my initial downpayment on a trip that was inevitably cancelled. The communications from the Apple travel agent were quite terse/rude. I do feel sorry for those guests who ended up committing thousands of dollars to this company that they will not likely recover.

I sat in a bus for 3 hours while the bus picked up other people from other resorts before arriving at my excursion destination. I google maps'd the drive from my resort to my excursion it was a 15 minute drive. I sat in a bus for 3 hours driving around. On my honeymoon. Do not book with these con artists.

Negative experience: I would give this travel agency 0 stars if that was an option. We booked a vacation with airfare far in advance to get a better price, and they just called to tell me the airline changed our return flight and the only option would be to cancel my entire vacation for a refund. Now we are 90 days out and cannot find anything with a comparable price. The person that I spoke to was very rude and would not work with me at all. She only offered a refund and to top it off she told me it would take 14 days to process. I will never book another vacation with Apple. Thank you for ruining something that we were so looking forward to.

Negative experience: Bad vacation, nothing was as advertised, they use a 3rd party for their representatives who just say talk to the resort. Wont ever spend 5+k on a vacation with them again

Negative experience: BEWARE OF "EXCLUSIVE VACATION FLIGHTS"!! Regardless of the Airline listed, these are actually operated by Apple Vacations, and the airline listed has no information. Even Apple can not help you. There is no way to check flight status, check in or print a boarding pass. You just show up at the airport and hope for the best. You will save a little money choosing these flights ($20-$70), but you will pay for it in fees. Very seriously, there is actually a fee to have a seat. Any seat! Does your ticket price cover this? No! Even for a middle seat next to the bathroom... $11 fee. It goes up if you want a window seat or an exit-row seat. This fee is added to the price you are shown for your flight or package. There is also no baggage allowance. $50 per bag, per person. When paying thousands of dollars for a trip, pay the extra few dollars for a flight with a real airline, so that someone is accountable and you have access to basic info, such as flight status. These "Exclusive Vacation Flights" are NOT operated by the airlines listed. Apple simply rents the plane from those airlines. The flight crew is not the listed airline either. Who are the pilots? Apple Vacation employees? No way of knowing. The airline listed will have no information on the flight. Beware! Again... Pay the few extra dollars and choose a flight operated by the listed airline. Or, book your vacation package with one of the airlines, or directly through the resort/hotel. Most of them offer similar packages with the actual airlines operating the planes.
