Fantastic experience: We just returned from a fantastic family vacation arranged by Ann Canning of Canning Travel. This is the third time we've used Ann to make all our arrangements and we do not give her any easy task to accomplish. She has to coordinate the travel plans of our family coming from all over the country and make sure the trip itself satisfies all members of a family with ages ranging from 4 years to 73. The plans are always executed with precision and are error free. Each trip ends with "this couldn't have been better", but then the next one always is. She is a true professional. I highly recommend her.

Fantastic experience: Ann is fabulous to work with in planning a trip. This time, we asked for assistance in planning a week-long girls' trip to the Sonoma/Napa Valley area of California.  She worked within our budget to secure the flight, hotel, and rental car. Ann gave us suggestions for places to explore. We stayed in Petaluma, which was an easy drive to all of the places on our to-see list. Some highlights of our trip: the Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Preserve; the Charles M. Schulz museum in Santa Rosa; driving the Bohemian Highway thru rolling pastures, vineyards, and adorable little towns leading to the Pacific Ocean; wine tastings at Buena Vista, Kendall-Jackson, Korbel, V. Sattui, Charles Krug, and Portworks wineries; spending the day at the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa (enjoying their five geothermal pools); and taking the 6-hour Legacy tour on the Napa Valley Wine Train thru gorgeous wine country. We can't wait to plan next year's girls' trip with Ann!

Fantastic experience: I had been trying to plan a family trip to Utah for the better part of a year, but it was like herding cats trying to organize 4 households across 2 countries. So I gave up and called Ann. She jumped in and planned a stellar vacation with a month’s notice. Ann knew exactly how to coordinate flights and cars and found a beautiful house to accommodate all of us together in a great area in Utah for everything we wanted to do. The itinerary she curated took into account all adventure skill levels and was so detailed we didn’t have to think or worry about anything during the trip. Fantastic experience: Ann helped us find a great all inclusive resort. It just opened in November,so everything is new and beautiful ! People there were friendly and welcoming. Service was fast except lunch time they were under staffed. The resort was called SLS playa mujeres. Took a ferry to the island and then rented a golf cart to ride around for the day. Lots of shopping and restaurants on north side. South side was more scenic and gorgeous! Would recommend.

Fantastic experience: This is the second time we have asked Ann to plan a trip for us and we have already started on a third! Ann not only reduces the stress of planning but also helps when needed during trips. Due to some unexpected issues out of our control, we were going to miss our flight home. I let Ann know and she IMMEDIATELY answered and started looking for other options. Although every flight was booked due to a very popular musician being in town, she was able to book us a rental car, something not everyone in our situation was fortunate enough to get. Fantastic experience: We've worked with Ann for multiple international, all-inclusive trips and she provides a great service! She's knowledgable and a great advisor. The latest trip we booked with Ann was for our honeymoon to Sandals Royal Curacao. We definitely recommend checking this resort out for any couples looking for an upscale, all-inclusive experience in the Caribbean. Ann truly shined when our departure flights were cancelled within hours due to bad weather; she hopped on the phone and worked out everything with Sandals and our airline to ensure we didn't lose any nights and had the best experience possible.

We are not world travelers so having someone to send us to safe places to stay, provide arrangements, travel and itineraries is great!!! We will definitely always plan our trips with her. Fantastic experience: Ann is amazing! She has helped us plan two fantastic European adventures: one group trip with family to Germany and most recently a couples trip to Italy! Fantastic experience: My sister and I used Ann to help book our trip at the recommendation of our mom. She has helped my parents plan numerous trips, and she always hits it out of the park. We reached out to Ann in early December to plan a February trip, and she was very thorough in finding what we were interested in and sent multiple resorts for us to look at in different countries to gauge what we were looking for. We found the one we wanted to visit right away, and Ann booked our flights, resort stay, and transportation to and from the airport. We also asked for help to book an excursion, and we ended up choosing zip lining. Everything was booked and documented very well and the instructions for what we needed to do on our end were clear and concise. Ann followed up with us 2 days before our trip, as well. The trip itself was super smooth. Our flight was delayed an hour, but our transportation was still ready to go when we arrived. We ended up choosing to go to the Dominican Republic, and stayed at the Hotel Catalonia Royal Bávaro. Check in at the resort was extremely easy, and the resort was gorgeous, clean, and quiet. It was the perfect location for our relaxing vacation. Our zip lining excursion also went very well with no issues. It was such a successful trip, and I cannot wait to have Ann help me plan my next one!

Fantastic experience: Ann did an amazing job planning our trip to Australia and New Zealand. The flights, hotels and transfers were all very nice with all the personnel being very friendly. She scheduled the bridge climb & Opera House tour both in Sydney. In Melbourne she schedule the Phillip Island tour were at sunset saw one thousand fairy penguins emerge from the ocean and march their way back to their burrows. This was one of the coolest thing I have ever seen. In New Zealand Ann scheduled the Milford Sound Tour where on the boat dolphins were swimming along with us and we saw beautiful waterfalls. A very fun day. Our last tour was bike the wineries, as you can image was another great day. All of our tours were in small very nice vans with only a hand full of other people. All of our tour guides were super friendly and very knowledgeable. We can't wait to have Ann plan our next trip.

Fantastic experience: Ann booked a trip for my friends and I to Puerto Vallarta, she was absolutely wonderful to work with! She provided us with so many options that were in our price range and had the amenities we were looking for and was super quick to respond to any questions we had! Our trip went super smooth, and we had a blast! I would definitely recommend booking through Ann!

Negative experience: Not great. Not at all well versed on where we went (Sandals Grenada) and unwilling to do any research to learn and advise. Wrong info given, even on simple questions (i.e., do we need an electrical adapter for resort...we were told no but thankfully we didn't listen and did our own research and brought several, which we did need). Incorrect info also given re: trip insurance policy we purchased. No advice given on excusrsions or amenities available. Really not sure what traval agent actually did for us, since I booked air travel separately. We learned so much about the Sandals resorts when we were at the one in Grenada, I highly recommend booking a vacation directly through Sandals if you are going that route. Even if you aren't traveling to a Sandals, do yourself a favor and find a better travel agent for your trip.

Fantastic experience: Ann is awesome! My wife and I used her for our honeymoon to Maui. All we knew about Hawaii was that we wanted to go in January for the whales and Ann helped with the rest. She provided multiple different options to stay, times to go, helped with booking flights, and rental car places. It was helpful seeing the different scenarios and seeing what the vacation costs would be! She made the booking process super easy! It was our first time using a travel agent and would definitely use Ann again!

Fantastic experience: Anne did an amazing job planning our honeymoon! She was so helpful, providing us with several options to start and then helping us hone in based on what our particular desires were. Not only was she helpful in that initial planning stage, but when we had to postpone our wedding & honeymoon twice (due to the pandemic) she helped us move things seamlessly, avoided any additional fees, AND managed to get us a room upgrade in the process! Once the trip got closer to actually happening, she was so helpful in making sure we had everything we needed such as booking our fees for baggage, various items needed for international travel, and more. Anne scheduled us to stay at the Valentin Imperial in the Riviera Maya/Cancun area (to be honest, I don't completely understand the area, but it was approximately there) and it was an absolute dream! The resort was beautiful, staff was fantastic, accommodations and perks were amazing - would definitely go back and book through Anne again!

Fantastic experience: We went to Disney world for spring break. Ann planned our trip and it was an amazing experience. Ann was very helpful and knowledge about Disney. Fantastic experience: We love Ann at Canning Travel! I can't count how many times we have used her and every trip was flawless; Disney (6+ times), Italy, London, Paris, Disney Paris, Colorado. We made the mistake of booking with a discount website when Covid first hit (only to save money) and it was a NIGHTMARE trying to get a refund from them and not worth the money that we saved. It made me appreciate the personal attention Ann gives and the attention to details!! We love Ann.

Negative experience: We have used Ann multiple times for about 8 years now and even shared her name around with family and friends, we were planning a trip to Disney in Sept-Oct but due to the Covid-19 & a death in the family due to this tragedy we decided to cancel. My sister handled all the bookings for the family and used Ann. Now we are trying to cancel and she is being rude and trying to make us have a credit for the trip just to keep her commission. We understand it's hard times, but with a death due to Covid-19 we are not taking any trips in the near or far future. I think it's really inconsiderate and bad for business to not help cancel our trip. We even called Disney directly and they told us since it was booked through a travel agent we have to go through them and they should be able to cancel yet she won't. I advise anyone who is taking a trip and may have to cancel to not use Ann, she is not understanding nor helpful, she is just looking for her commission and doesn't care about her customers.

Fantastic experience: If you’re looking for an incredible travel agent, your search can end here...Canning Travel Inc. is simply the BEST. Ann Canning worked with us to plan a honeymoon that only dreams are made of. She listened to all of our “wants” while considering our budget. Ann gave us plenty of options to consider. We spent a week at Sandals in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. We had never stayed at an all-inclusive resort, and it definitely did not disappoint! We were treated like a king and queen for a week (as she had promised!) Ann kept us informed about changes to our itinerary (very small change, but important nonetheless) weeks in advance. Booking through Ann ended up getting us some perks (for example, a free massage once we were at the resort. Hello, relaxation!) Overall, I cannot speak highly enough of Canning Travel Inc. and I look forward to working with Ann in the future. If you want an incredible vacation where you don’t want to worry about a thing, use Canning Travel Inc. You will not regret it! PS - We live in Ohio and she worked with us from Illinois, so she can help you plan your vacay no matter where you live (because she’s the best, like I said!)
