Negative experience: Horrible communication. Never returned phone calls. Never called back to review our home or auto policies. AAA Grants Pass Service Center attempted to renew by sending many emails requesting payment. There was no interest in helping us. When I was rear ended they were useless in coordinating with the other insurance agency. I received the correct information as who to deal with from the auto body shop! They also completely messed up with the auto rental that we needed after the accident. I finally had to call an 800 number to cancel the policies. I give one star because the person I reached at the 800 number was efficient and helpful with the refund. We are thankful they did that well. Avoid this agency.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly & helpful people.
Negative experience: The local AAA was able to assist us in finding a mechanic shop that won’t rip you off. Apparently it’s tricky around here. Edit: unfortunately this turned out to not be accurate. Not sure there is a competent mechanic in Grants Pass (and/or an honest one), and this was confirmed from more than a few locals that drive to CA for trusted work/warranty service.

Negative experience: Requested in person Trip Tix one month ahead of trip and rep failed to take our request seriously, never put in the request, ignored request when we again followed thru several more times and then tells us didn't think we really wanted the Trip Tix!!!! Then tried to pass the request after 3 weeks into this month on to Texas center who would mail it to us AFTER the trip! Tried to tell us to just stay at relatives along the way, which there are NONE and then tells is to use an app, which we don't have the memory capacity on our phones for, and even the manager at the Grants Pass office not returning our call. NEVER had such incompetence and disreguard for member service request as I have had here. And found out staff continually over last 5 1/2 year's also didn't follow thru with yearly requests to see if we could save money on our car insurance policy, saying couldn't offer anything better until I personally requested again appointment with my agent and got a better quote and said didn't know I had been requesting quotes every year. Seems she never got the messages. What kind of customer service is this?

Negative experience: Tried to get insurance on a new 2016 car. Sounded like a real good quote to start with (and I stupidly let them have my credit card number too early), but when they' finalized' the insurance premium, the amount they originally quoted me no longer applied. They wanted more, so I said "No thank you" - but unfortunately they had 'accidentally' already charged my credit card before getting my OK for the higher amount. This is when the real hassle started. It was suddenly my problem to go through a lot of paperwork, and headache to cancel the policy. Terrible service, unbusiness-like insurance company. I got excellent insurance from Pemco, who were awesome when a deer jumped into the side of my car.
Negative experience: I wish I could give less then a full star, terrible service and after I called to put a hold on my insurance for my Toyota Tacoma 4x4, they told me I couldn't do so. So I had to cancel my policy after just paying my monthly payment, when I requested a refund for the month, I was told that it would be sent to the current address. I called back after to get a new quote for a Subaru Forester, and they quoted me $30 more then I was paying per month for a 4x4 truck. Does not make any sense whatsoever. Then I finally got the refund check, it was for $8.32 when I had just payed $105. Why even send me the check you stupid f*cks? Ripped me off, I would literally recommend any other insurance company ever, they wouldn't even give me roadside assistance when called upon. TERRIBLE!
Negative experience: Worst experience I have ever had with an insurance company (and I had a different insurance company mess up my birthday 3 times)! Every time I talked to anyone over there they either lied about something, didn't know what they were talking about, screwed up the paperwork, misspelled crucial things (my name, email, etc) or transferred me to the wrong people. I almost lost almost $1,200 through them 2 months AFTER I cancelled my policy and again they didn't know anything, kept sending me in loops and were overall really ignorant or just plain rude and stuck up about everything. DO NOT USE THEM! *I don't know if all Triple As are this way, I am only speaking from experience through the Grants Pass Triple A Brokerage.
