Fantastic experience: We worked with Jean to set up a 30th Anniversary trip to Italy. She was a delight to work with. It had been a while since we travelled and she was prompt and thorough in answering our (many) questions. She gave us options for hotels, and the ones we picked were perfect. Fantastic experience: Plaza Travel was very instrumental in helping us plan a great 12 day independent trip to Italy. It was just my wife and I traveling alone, first time for me and second time for her, although her first time was with a tour group. No tour group, and no tour guide this time, other than a few local tours, some of which were booked by Plaza Travel, others we booked ourselves, some not until we were in Italy, as we wanted maximum flexibility. Plaza's suggestion of Rome first, then Florence, and then Venice was the perfect scenario. We considered other cities as well (ie, Bologna, Siena, etc.) but decided to keep it simple, if you will, and are very glad we did. We were very particular about the hotels, and did tons of research. With Plaza's help, we ended up with some gems, including great centralized locations and beautiful accommodations. In spite many moving parts on a trip like this, including lots of in-country train and taxi travel, the entire trip went off without a hitch, pretty near perfect. BTW, if you are considering Italy for the first time and are concerned about the language, not to worry, at least not in the cities we visited, English is spoken everywhere, so much so that we kinda felt cheated a bit, in that we had learned some Italian in advance, but ended up not using it much, because locals seem to prefer English.

Fantastic experience: From start to finish Lisa put together a wonderful trip for our family when traveling to Tuscany and Rome. Not an easy task to get done for the eight of us. Lisa coordinated flights, flight insurance, medical insurance, accommodations, transfers, transportation, restaurant reservations, private tour guides and more. I could not have done without Lisa's years of experience in the travel industry and all of her connections in Italy! We will definitely request Lisa to help us with our future travel adventures!

I know we bugged you a lot making plans for this trip. But you always came through. The hotels you picked for us were the BEST!!! Location is everything when you're in a foreign county and these three hotels were definitely in great locations. Your suggestion about using G-7 taxis was so helpful. We looked for them at every location and felt comfortable we weren't being overcharged because we were tourist. The tours you provided for us to choose from were wonderful. Fantastic experience: Jean arranged a fantastic cruise with excursions on the Princess Caribbean in Alaska. Jean arranged the air transportation into Anchorage and then motorcoach transportation into Whittier where the ship was docked. All travel connections went smoothly. The weather was super, sunny and comfy temps. Lots to do on the ship, and lots to eat! A great way to see a very large state. We had ample time off the ship at Skagway, Juneau, and Ketchikan to do our excursions and see the sights. Had a lovely tour in Vancouver before heading to the airport.

Fantastic experience: I recently returned from a trip to Scotland , Wales, Great Britain & Ireland booked with Plaza Travel & I’m pleased to say it was an amazing experience. I was attending a wedding in Dublin & Lisa assisted me in choosing which tour would best meet my needs & time constraints. The tour was 2 weeks long & jam packed! Fantastic experience: My wife and I just returned home from a 17 day trip to Italy that Lisa LaForest from Plaza Travel put together for us. This was our first trip to Italy and the first time we used a travel advisor in decades and we were so happy we did. After meeting with Lisa a few times she really understood what we wanted and understood what we needed. From our flights to renting a car, hotels, train tickets, and tours, Lisa put together a once in a lifetime trip. I would highly recommend Plaza Travel.

Negative experience: Was quite surprised this was our experience based on their reviews. My mom went here for assistance in planning an all inclusive for our family. The consultation was $100 if we wanted to get options provided back to us to review and consider. That would be credited back if we book. Seemed more than fair. We were told it would take a month “to research and provide options” back to us. A month? OK then. What we got back I would have hardly considered valuable research. On top of that, their pricing was more expensive by 3k for a 16k package (3 rooms for 9 people)! When I informed our contact we booked direct with the resort (Dominican Republic) she was highly offended and accused me of using her for her research. Before booking direct on my own, I asked her why her pricing was 3k more opening the door for her to figure it out. 24 hours later I lost confidence and booked on my own as she said this was her “vendor to vendor pricing” - no clue what that means. She also had no experience it felt like as she had no answers to any of my questions and kept saying “I’ll have to look into it and get back to you” - this place has solid reviews so again, I was quite surprised by the experience. I have a family member planning a 3 week honey moon to Europe that I shared this place with as an option but I’ll be retracting that after this experience.

Fantastic experience: This was our third trip through Plaza Travel and each time was an absolute pleasure. Lisa L. has such a vast knowledge of the destinations and gets to know her clients well enough to plan exactly what they would like to see. The trip to London and Ireland became our favorite vacation, which is a lot to say for an Italian who's been to Italy twice. Never having been to either location, we left it up to her to choose the accommodations and attractions. Each hotel was outstanding and each attraction was perfect for us. Couldn't have been happier. Negative experience: We endured a horrible experience with Plaza Travel as Debi R for an agent. We visited her almost 4 mo. ago to book a trip for April break. After sending 13 family members passports, numerous emails and calls, we found out she did NOTHING!! Our desired destination is now sold out! Absolute worst experience we’ve ever had especially since we started so early. Very unprofessional. Save yourself the heartache and disappointment.

The resulting itineraries are spot-on, and able to accommodate minor tweaking. Most recently, Jean arranged a two-week trip to Scotland. For the first time, we used a tour guide/driver for 10 days. The result was a fantastic and very memorable vacation. This allowed us to travel through and see an extensive amount of Scotland, experiencing things we never would have on a self tour. Driving, parking, ticket purchases and lunch stops were never an issue. Additionally, our tour guide presented contextual history for every site, often including any contemporary historical aspects in addition to facts related to the relevant time periods. Fantastic experience: 13 days, 4 resorts beginning in Osa and ending in Arenal. One plane ride and 3 motor transports provided by competent and personable drivers. The transports gave us an opportunity to see a wide range of Costa Rican geography and daily life. Tours at the resorts brought us in contact with most of the birds and animals we had hoped to see

Fantastic experience: We took the Treasures of Egypt tour was from January 18th to 29th, 2024. It was fantastic tour, booked through Lisa at Plaza Travel Center. Lisa was very helpful throughout the booking, she had direct experience with tour in Egypt, having been on this tour, and definitely guided us correctly thru all aspects of the booking: flights, tour, etc., making this Egypt Tour a truly fantastic experience. A note, in Egypt, even with what is going on in Israel, we always felt safe. Egypt is as safe as anywhere else you can go in this world of ours, so do not feel you should not go there. The great Egyptian sites, with all that you take in at each one, was an experience that will always be remembered.

Fantastic experience: I don't know how to adequately describe my recent trip to Egypt. It was superb in every way! The success was due to the efforts of Lisa LaForest of Plaza travel.She listened to my wishes for the trip and then made it happen! It was perfect from start to finish. Her level of travel expertise is second to none. Case in point, she suggested doing my air travel separately from the tour package. Doing so gave me a nonstop flight with no problems whatsoever. I listened to the horror stories of those who used the package travel and most came with two or three layovers in Munich, Frankfort and Paris. I traveled and was home in 11 hours, most of my companions spent 20-26 hours flying and changing planes. I hesitate to post this because she will then become too busy to indulge my travel dreams and plans!! I would be remiss if I did not mention Jean Gagnon. She provides advice and empowers her employees through her advice and having them experience the places they will recommend. I cannot say enough good things about Plaza Travel they are your trusted advisors and they become your friend in the process. Kudos!!!

Fantastic experience: Jean Gagnon of Plaza travel helped me with our trip to Germany, and I could NOT have done it without her. She helped us rent a car from here (cheaper!) and get an extra seat so we flew in relative comfort. Which was also key in getting my grandmother’s violin back to the states, I’d never have gotten in on the plane without that extra seat, and I didn’t know how to book that. Thank you, Jean! Our trip was amazing, the vacation of a lifetime for our honeymoon. And with plenty of time between flights to make our connections without running, thank goodness. Fantastic experience: Lisa helped us plan a tour to Scotland and Ireland… we started back on 2019! Finally went in September of this year!
