Negative experience: If I could give a zero star I would. This was my first and last time using a travel agent. I used a fora travel agent who booked our trip with the wrong dates and had I not figured it out myself we would have shown up in Italy with our two young children and had no place to stay. After contacting her and letting her know the error, I personally had to contact all the properties and try to cancel and get a refund. I was unable to get full refunds due to her mistake and she refuses to compensate us. I contacted for an and was told that the agents are independent contractors and unfortunately there was nothing they could do. I am writing this to let people know to not use agents that are with fora so the same thing doesn’t happen to someone else. I will be submitting my claim to the attorney general office in hopes that can help with the refunds that are due

She planned an unforgettable Costa Rica trip for two couples and truly exceeded our expectations from start to finish. She took the time to understand exactly what we wanted in a vacation and built an itinerary that matched us perfectly, from the hotel to the incredible excursions. Everything was thoughtfully organized, which made the trip completely stress-free and easy to enjoy. Her communication was always clear and timely, and she made sure we felt prepared with all the information we needed. When our flights were unexpectedly diverted to another country, Christina stayed in constant contact with us, the airport transportation, and the hotel to keep everything running smoothly. We felt supported the entire time and never had to worry about a thing. Thanks to her, we were able to fully relax and enjoy one of the best vacations we’ve ever taken. We would absolutely recommend Christina to anyone looking for a seamless and memorable travel experience.

Negative experience: I did the application then they required a payment to "expedite the application review". Why would I pay to expedite the application? Yeah, it says they won't run your credit card but still that's seriously messed up. Paying to get your application reviewed and not even giving someone a job.

Fantastic experience: I booked with Vee Velez a Fora travel advisor. She was helpful and knowledgeable and got me the best deal for my cruise to the amalfi coast with flights included. Awesome service and quick replies to all my questions.

Fantastic experience: Jada Washington is the best travel agent I have ever worked with. She is the epitome of professionalism and efficiency. Her job knowledge is outstanding, and she made the entire planning process seamless. What really made the difference was her warm and personable approach. I felt like a valued individual, not just a transaction. If you want a travel agent who is a master of her craft and makes you feel completely cared for, look no further than Jada.

Negative experience: I was assigned to a travel agent who wanted to upsell me on everything. It was quite annoying. And there was hiccups during my trip, she literally replied to me saying “that’s out of my scope”. I picked the hotel myself, I had to remind her that it was time to book trains, she promised to get me dinner reservations and wasn’t able to book ANYthing. There was no value added and I feel I did all the work and she just got the commission on everything

Positive experience: We used Fora to help us plan our honeymoon. Our expectations were high—we’d heard about other couples having a great experience with them and were excited to have the heavy lifting of planning taken off our plate. Unfortunately, our experience didn’t live up to that. We felt like our agent did the minimum amount of work. He told us he hadn’t visited the area in a long time, and it showed in the planning. At one point he missed alerting us about a reservation requirement for a popular state park we specifically mentioned wanting to hike in, which was disappointing. Overall he seemed unfamiliar with the area despite saying he knew the destination. Communication wasn’t great, and the information we did get was sent in a basic PDF that felt thrown together, with misaligned text and photos that made it hard to read. It just didn’t feel professional. He did handle some bookings and cancellations as requested, made a dinner reservation, and offered a few activity ideas. But most of the research, decision-making, and organizing fell to us. In the end, we had a fantastic trip—but that was because we stepped in and planned it ourselves, not because of the service we received. We also didn’t get any welcome messages before we left, any honeymoon-specific suggestions that felt special, or even a follow-up afterward asking how things went. If you’re thinking of using Fora, I’d recommend being very careful about which agent they give you. There are probably some excellent ones there, but you’ll want to do your own research to make sure you find someone who can actually meet—or exceed—your expectations.

Fantastic experience: Anson was super helpful helping us with our recent travel to Japan. Best experience ever! Look for Anson!

Negative experience: I filled out the form and answered their questions about budget and what not. I honestly just chose a random number because it could go higher or lower based on what I thought they could help me find. I then get an email from them saying they can’t help me. I’ve never come across a travel agency that says they can’t help you. I found their response to be quite snobby and elitist. Apparently they don’t work with people that have a lower budget.

Negative experience: Save your time and money. Would not recommend flora agents or advisors to anyone. They don't priotize your time, don't communicate and find an excuse to take your money. Highly highly recommend going with other agencies with no cost to you and help you book and coordinate your travel.

From booking the best rooms to arranging excursions, every part of our trip was well thought out. She even provided helpful tips that made our cruise even more enjoyable. Negative experience: We had a mixed experience with Fora Travel. I submitted a request for an agent to assist with hotels in Costa Rica. I did not hear back, but upon reaching out again was connected with Kris Weir. Kris was helpful in selecting two places to stay in Costa Rica. She stated she would excursion/tour recommendations prior to our trip but never did. Upon arriving at the second hotel, we discovered there was an issue with our room and the hotel had communicated the issue to the Fora agent, Kris, but she never contacted us. I also emailed Kris directly upon being informed of the issue by the hotel, but she did not respond (I did not have a phone number for her to call). To this day, I never heard one word from Kris informing us of the issue, giving us resolution options, or even apologizing for the error. She did not respond to any of my messages once we were traveling in country. To say this was disappointing is an understatement. Luckily we were able to resolve the issue at the second hotel on our own, but I will never trust Fora Travel again and cannot recommend it to others.

Negative experience: Save Your Time and Money—Book Directly with Amex Travel Instead Fora is simply not worth the extra time or money when booking a trip. I had multiple disappointing experiences with their service, proving that they add little to no value beyond what you could arrange yourself. Here are some key failures I encountered: No Exclusive Relationships with Local Businesses Fora does not have any personal connections with local restaurants, businesses, or tour operators. They book reservations using the same systems available to the public, so there is no added benefit to going through them. Lack of Attention to Detail Small but crucial details were overlooked, which negatively impacted my plans. For example, while in Mykonos, I went to dinner straight from the beach, only to find out the restaurant had a dress code—something my Fora travel agent failed to mention. As a result, I had to scramble for a last-minute alternative. Poor Vetting of Vendors and Experiences Fora does not properly vet the tours and services they book. I reserved a five-hour yacht experience in Mykonos, but once we boarded, we were informed that our planned destination—communicated from the very beginning—was not possible. To make matters worse, the yacht company only provided four hours instead of the five we had paid for. Throughout these issues, Fora made no effort to coordinate with vendors or find alternative solutions. Instead, they merely asked for feedback to improve service for future clients—while doing nothing to fix the situation for me. Do yourself a favor and book through Amex Travel or directly with hotels and service providers. Fora is not worth the hassle. Update: After posting this review Fora started creeping on my LinkedIn

Fantastic experience: My husband and I had an incredible trip to Japan and it was stress-free thanks to Anson Tan’s planning. Every hotel we stayed in surpassed our expectations and we would definitely book again. I’m the type of person who will endlessly search for the “right hotel”. Anson asked us what we were looking for and presented us awesome options. It was such a relief to just say “book it”! Unable to contact as there is no contact information either. I had taken off from my work to attend this. Wasted two hours. I thought Fora is technologically advanced but appeared to be worst who cannot even manage a zoom meeting.

Fantastic experience: Our first experience with Fora Travel will certainly not be our last. We just returned from a fantastic getaway to Bermuda curated by our advisor Melissa Schwartz. She recommended the Rosewood Hotel which was beyond beautiful, which included a complimentary delicious gourmet breakfast every morning and $100 resort credit. Our original Harbor-view King room was upgrade to an Ocean-view Suite (which included a complimentary golf cart) on arrival. The accommodations were nothing short of stunning. Melissa also arranged to have his/hers golf hats waiting for us in the room as a welcome gift - a nice touch! Finally, she arranged for all of our dinner reservations and taxi transfers ahead of time, so we were able to sit back and truly relax in the beauty of Bermuda. Thanks again, Melissa!

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience using Fora Travel, Inc. We stayed at the Stafford Hotel in London and Hotel Craftsman Amsterdam and loved both of our stays. We had a complementary room upgrade in London. Free breakfast in London and Amsterdam. We would happily book again through Fora Travel. We loved our travel advisor, Jenny Walz! Jenny took care of us and make sure we were looked after. She was incredibly professional and so responsive. Jenny also left us a welcome note and chocolates in Amsterdam. We trust in all of Jenny’s recommendations and will happily book our future travels through her.

Negative experience: I'm very disappointed with this company. I own a chauffeur company in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. And travel advisor Brittney McAllister booked for her client Austin Bryant a luxury minivan in Amsterdam for 4 days with me. (March 2024) 4 Days we provided 12 hrs service without getting paid for it! The service ended at the airport and they didn't pay us on the drop off due to credit card problems. The outstanding amountvis €3200! An significant sum for us! Despite numerous attempts to resolve this matter, including reaching out to both Ms. McAllister and the client, Austin Bryant, our efforts have been met with no support from the travel advisor. Ms. Brittney McAllister insists the bill has been settled, no proof of payment has been provided, (because the bill is never paid) and our communication channels have been blocked. It is unacceptable for an agency like Fora Travel to endorse advisors or clients who do not honor their commitments. We delivered quality service and were left uncompensated. I feel compelled to share this experience publicly as I see no other recourse to address this grievance.

Fantastic experience: I am very thankful for Anson Tan's arrangements for all 3 of our hotels. Our trip was a girls trip with my mom and daughter to celebrate early Mother's Day in Hong Kong. We were super satisfied, especially with the Sheraton Hotel in Mainland China, as he got us upgraded to a suite!

Negative experience: Signed up as an advisor but it was a complete waste of time - basically a Ponzi scheme to get people to pay subscription fees and book travel for their friends & family. The site itself generates zero enquiries or leads for advisors. As my friends & family are not idiots and are smart enough to make their own travel arrangements without using an advisor, it's pretty useless to me without any sales support. Also they keep on adding hundreds of new advisors even though there is nowhere enough business to go around. Don't waste your time & money on this.

Negative experience: We had a group booking trough Chloe Kletsa, one of the 'indepent travel advisors' on this platform, for a group of 36. The booking was cancelled 30 minutes before the group should arrive and the so called travel advisor is taking zero responsibility.

Negative experience: Stay away. Completely unprofessional, demeaning attitude if you don't offer a big piece of pie. Inquired about the base rate to get an understanding of the overall price range. I filled out their form on their website which collected all necessary info. Still had to exchange 3,4 more emails to get it from them. Basically was told to pound sand, because I'm looking for "rock bottom price" so I didn't need to email them and to go elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: We worked with Cara Todd, (Fora Travel),She had previously helped our daughter arrange a multi-city trip in India and did a fabulous job, highly recommended. So we contacted Cara when we decided to visit Athens), Greek islands (Tinos and Naxos) and Istanbul, with less than 30 days to plan a 25 day tour (coordinating with a Blues Cruises in/out of Athens). What can we say- she linked up with Fora sources in Greece, Turkey as well, to create a AMAZING trip for us. We’d never used a travel agency, and this was our first trip to use agency, pickup and drop off services, tour guides etc. Cara et al, was so careful to handpick places to stay that either had elevators, no stairs etc. for us with the bad knees:-). She was thoughtful, engaged, patient with us as she put it together. Thank heavens we trusted her opinions!!!! Fora Travels agents in Greece and Istanbul, our drivers, guides…we can not say enough about our guides Angela (Athens) and Volkan Yazici in Istanbul (really easy going, SO knowledgeable… the places we stayed. The trip went seamlessly, and will forever be memorable as such thanks to Cara.

I told her what I want, and she booked a hotel, got tickets for the activities I want to see, and sent an itinerary to guide me. Negative experience: I manage a small B&B in Italy, our cancellation policy is well indicated on our site. I have received a booking from your agent for clients in June. Two days before the customers' arrival date, I contacted you to arrange the arrival time and guarantee an excellent service to your customers. Mrs. Nadine from your staff replied to my email, communicating the cancellation of the reservation, without bothering to pay the bill. Incredibly, you haven't even replied to my emails anymore. I find this was incorrect behavior and very unprofessional. All your reviews are written by people who work for you, perhaps the reviews are not so sincere given the lack of professionalism shown towards us.
