Fantastic experience: The travel plans are complex anytime you go overseas. We just felt that we were being so well taken care of, all plans worked out to perfection. Everything was wonderful, and we really enjoyed our trip. A great time to unplug from work and it was an awesome itinerary. We always felt that Diane was with us, supporting us so faithfully from the time we decided to take the trip, all of the way through to the time we came home from it. Fantastic experience: Diane is amazing!!! I went on a cruise with my Bridge club friends to Greece and Italy. Diane planned everything for us down to the last detail. I mean pick up from airports, ships, hotels etc. All of our dinner reservations were arranged ahead of the trip. She even helped us when we were in the airport and had some last minute questions. You can text her and she gets back to you so quickly even if she is on vacation! My family is already planning to use her for an upcoming trip because I was so impressed.

I don't typically use travel agents but decided to use one for our Alaskan cruise vacation as it was so different from how my family typically travels. Diane was beyond helpful and guided me through every aspect of planning our trip. She has personally been to Alaska over 40 times and was so knowledgeable about all of the ins and outs. She offered so many insightful recommendations that I never would have figured out on my own. She is also a fabulous communicator. She scheduled periodic meetings with me to ensure that we were ready for our trip and always answered all of my questions in an extremely timely manner. Fantastic experience: Diane helped us with a Silversea Alaska cruise plus 2 days of pre-cruise excursions. All were excellent and we could not recommend Diane more highly. She was always very quick to respond to questions and what few issues we had with the 3rd parties were quickly resolved to our satisfaction. Fantastic experience: When we were stranded in Frankfurt, Germany because of 6 feet of snow on the runway in Munich where we were supposed to be picked up by the cruiseline, Diane spent the majority of the night with the cruise line and airline trying to get us to the ship on time. I had also met 14 more people in the same predicament and Diane helped them also. Since then, Diane has booked two other cruises for us and we just would not go with anybody else. She answers emails within five minutes she will meet us near where we live rather than her home office. There is nothing she would not do to help you out. I would not use another travel agent. You would be most pleased!

There was a lack of customer service. I had to spend additional money that was unexpected, and I made my own arrangements for several events. I will not use this agency again.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I contacted Diane Michael this past year when we decided to do some Luxury travel. We are thankful that we did. We first decided on a luxury land tour of Ireland. Diane arranged for it. We changed our minds- (covid)- Diane handled it. We then decided on a luxury cruise. We canceled it. Diane handled it. We decided on a second cruise, once again Diane booked it and then had to cancel it. Finally, we decided on 2 back to back cruises on a different luxury cruise line. Diane handled all the arrangements, including working with the cruise line to get us the best international business class flights for us. Unfortunately, our first cruise was sailing on the Black Sea- it had to be rerouted to the Greek Islands. We had been there several times so the first cruise was canceled and our flights to Athens had to be moved by two weeks. Diane had to really push for the cruise line to give us the refund that was due us plus they wanted to charge us 50% more on our airfare. Diane finally worked out an arrangement to move our return date by one day- she saved us about $2400 on additional airfare alone. During all our changes this past year, Diane has handled issues with grace and professionalism. We Are so thankful that we had Diane and Luxury Travel Destinations representing us.

Diane took *ALL* of the stress off of my shoulders when I contacted her to help my husband and I with planning a vacation for us to celebrate our Anniversary. I was very apprehensive about attempting to “plan my own trip” due to all of the travel changes, restrictions and requirements that have taken place since COVID showed up and changed our world. I knew if I attempted to do it on my own, it would be very time consuming and I would end up being overwhelmed, stressed out, and not even be able to “enjoy the planning and the anticipation of it all”. I will admit, I’m OCD, and love taking charge of anything and everything that I’m able to, on my own. I love planning! However, with all of the travel changes since COVID occurred, I KNEW I didn’t want to misinterpret or miss any of the vital information found online and ruin our chances to “actually be able to even go on vacation”, IF I did it all on my own. Not only that, requirements have changed so much and so many times, I simply didn’t feel comfortable attempting to plan our vacation on our own. Deciding to make Diane our Travel Agent, was the best decision we made. For starters, Diane helped us to narrow down where my husband and I could go without a passport, and in the short time frame in which we were planning to travel. Diane also provided all of the “up to date” travel requirement information regarding vaccine and mask requirements, that we needed to know in order to choose the perfect destination for us to celebrate our Anniversary. Immediately, I knew that with Diane's experience as a Travel Agent, her attention to detail, as well as her own personal traveling experiences and recommendations, that my husband and I were in good hands. Diane helped us narrow down our best options based on our preferences, requirements, and of course, our budget. We chose San Juan Puerto Rico. Fortunately, for my husband and I, Diane has been to San Juan Puerto Rico, which gave her the opportunity to make recommendations to us on where to go eat, things to try and places to tour. She also made a recommendation that I wouldn’t have even considered, had it not been for her advice. It was THE best advice we could have been given!!! Literally! She said…”I don’t recommend renting a car there, just Uber or Taxi everywhere, because the driving there is so much different than what we are used to here.” Boy was she right!!!??!! Thanks to Diane’s advice, we were BOTH able to sit back, relax, and actually “see” all of the beauty around us while using a Taxi / Uber to many different areas in a place that we’ve never been to before. It was not stressful for us at all AND it ended up saving us lots of time and money!!! I can assure you, If we had rented a car, we would NOT have enjoyed our trip. We would have missed out on seeing so much and being able to see it all “together”. If we had rented a car, we would have been worn out, stressed out and irritable from all of the traffic. Not to mention, the extra time spent to get a rental, then to also turn it in, worrying about getting lost or the possibility of getting into an accident because of being unfamiliar with everything, trying to “site see” and pay attention all at once. We are still, so thankful that she made that recommendation. Thanks to Diane, we had a wonderful trip with absolutely NO stress involved in planning, booking, knowing what to expect & being prepared. Diane helped us navigate through all of our options, price comparing, excursion options, amenities offered, as well as discussing the advantages of having travel insurance and why it’s a great idea to “help protect yourselves, and your travel investments”, should anything unexpected happen and you have no choice but to cancel or reschedule your trip etc. So, again…Thinking of traveling? CALL DIANE MICHAEL!!! You won’t regret it. We are SO thankful we did!!!

She had everything mapped out for us, transportation, accommodations, several excursions. even a scooter for me as I have a bad limp. Nothing was left to chance.
