Negative experience: I will respectfully mention that the AAA roadside assistance just didn’t turn up for me . Me and my family were stranded late night when our car broke down . I used to be in NH , SD, PA and they were prompt. Spent money from my pocket to rescue myself. What’s the point in promising roadside assistance when you don’t turn up ?

Fantastic experience: It was very easy to walk in and wait for an opportunity to use the kiosk for a driver's license renewal. It is self-service, so please understand that you must be an advocate for yourself. The front desk is not responsible for servicing the queue.

Negative experience: I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from AAA Cool Springs. One of their agents, Alex, issued an insurance policy with incorrect information. ⚠️ Within just two weeks, the premium unexpectedly increased by $200—without any prior discussion or explanation. ⚠️ It became clear that the agent was not knowledgeable about the policy rules and gave misleading information during the process. ❌ Despite being a loyal AAA customer for over a year, I’ve had a terrible experience trying to get support on this issue. Calls to the Cool Springs office go unanswered, and I’ve sent multiple emails with no response. No one seems to be accountable, and I still don’t know who Alex’s manager is to escalate this. ‼️ This needs to be resolved ASAP. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend avoiding working with Alex, and I am seriously reconsidering my relationship with AAA.
Negative experience: Went there to get some travel help the only problem is the lady gave us a book and said she would something together. That was in April. Numerous emails on my part and finally a phone call she sent an itinerary that was to be for 4 adults she priced it as 2. Asked for cruise info…..she kept saying prices were not available……but I can get prices from other travel agents. Very very disappointed by the lack of response from this person. Friends have used AAA for years for all their travel needs and never an issue. Guess Tenneesee doesn’t have the same standards as Arizona. Just don’t know who to complain to. Very very disappointed. We are booking our trip and was told to get travel insurance through AAA but not sure I even want to call them!!!

Negative experience: Machine doesn't work workers should consider having machine moved if they are having a problem with the average Joe coming in and attempting to renew his license. I have to go to Dickson she recommended.. why,,,? DMV system is down. Absolutely non since and completly rude. Machine doesn't work. 1 ⭐
Fantastic experience: I went there in hopes of renewing my drivers license. The associates were extremely helpful. I even accidentally interrupted a worker while she was on the phone, and she was still kind. She had a lot of patience for all of my questions. However, I still had to go to the DMV because the kiosk couldn't verify my identity. I've lost about 90 lbs, so the system didn't recognize me. I attempted about 5 times.
Negative experience: I have now been trying to get a live person for 45 minutes. I have selected EVERY option. 15 min ago I actually got a live person by once again selecting sales - He had to transfer me and THEY DROPPED THE CALL!!! Horrible experience. Just gave up which is probably what they want you to do.
Fantastic experience: I was needing auto insurance through AAA for my 87 year old mom. Sarah Moss, an agent at the Brentwood offfice, was the kindest, most patient, agent! She got back with a quote within an hour and sent me the paperwork electronically for signing and I also paid over the phone. It doesn’t get any easier than that! Welcome to Middle TN, Sarah Moss! Fantastic experience: Place is great, I was in and out in ten minutes with handling my international drivers license. So the staff were friendly and very helpful.

Negative experience: Locked my keys in my car. Called Triple A and no one answered after 45 minutes, while using the gas station attendant's phone for that length of time. Decided to cancel my membership after that sorry experience. If they can't answer during an emergency, what's the use?
Negative experience: I am reviewing my experience with AAA Auto Club. l had a flat tire and phoned AAA. I waited 10 minutes to speak with someone and gave my location and was told a tow service would call when they were on their way. After 30 minutes, no call. I phoned again and held 10 minutes and told the same thing until l waited two hours. My son drove across town to help me after being left stranded by AAA. I felt helpless. I phoned to complain the next day and held again 10 minutes and was told to call another number and held again. I got frustrated and hung up. A company that advertises road assistance, should not leave its customer stranded. I am not the only complaint. Eventually after reporting my experience to BBB, l asked AAA to refund my membership dues. They told me it was not their policy. Recently l received a follow up phone call from AAA stating they will refund this years membership dues that was automatically charged to my credit card after the above incident.
Negative experience: Really sad when the one few times I tried to use one of my membership benefits they didn't even have a notary on site! Very sad really no reason to have a membership anymore.

Negative experience: Called to get help with a locked out car with my information inside. Guy on the phone just transferred me to make a new membership despite my family being with AAA for over 30 years. Now I'm back $140 because your employee wasn't interested in digging a little deeper to help out.
Fantastic experience: This AAA location is fabulous!! Karin was outstanding!! She mapped out scenic routes for us to get from Franklin TN to Okla City. She highlighted 2 scenic routes for us on a map. She recommended one - other one was 2 lanes only. We agreed with her choice. She made a booklet with details instructions. WOW!! We wish OKC AAA would do this kind of service. They don't even keep maps. YAY KAREN!!
Fantastic experience: I wish we in (Oklahoma city) had a place as helpful as this, I was just in the AAA In okc they would not help me at all .Karin in Tennessee was very nice and very helpful gave me excellent service. Please tell your people in OK they need to be better. Thank you Cool Springs AAA.
Negative experience: Truck went down l wait from 12pm til 9pm call another company just sad service. No calls to let you know they canceled just all day in 90 degree heat.

Negative experience: Triple the "wait estimate" =actual AAA roadside. Overpromising and underdelivering in Middle TN. First "1-hour" wait from 8:20-9:20 turned into 2 hours. 3.5 hours total! AAA actually had to call another co, A&H Towing, to get a tow truck out here, only 15 min after the A&H quoted time (30 min after AAA's latest 1-hour prediction). AAA is so bad, I would give the driver a good tip if they arrived on time or early for once. Even when today's driver has estimated a bit longer, AAA underestimated the wait time. At least this time it isn't over 90 degrees on the side of the road with a 3 year old who desperately needs to pee. I would rather an honest time quote from AAA that lets me plan for my family's needs than wait 3x as long as quoted and leave us hanging. If you are going to use AAA, request the tow truck number and name, verify the expected arrival time, and tell them if you have very young or elderly passengers... So they don't pick up other vehicles on their way to your stranded vehicle.

Fantastic experience: I called in to transfer my policy from Colorado to Tennessee. Derek answered almost immediately and I could not have been luckier. Derek was informative, articulate, and professional. To not be confused, he emailed me an outline of the proposed policy and went over line by line with ease. If I ever have any issues with my car, I feel reassured with Derek being my agent. Thank you!
Fantastic experience: Karin is the Best!
Negative experience: Horrible experience with triple A at this location.. Waited over 4 hours after being told three times it would just be an hour for roadside assistance. Unimpressed and would never consider triple A based on this experience. No update, call nor communication that they would be 3 hours later than expected. Gave up and got help elsewhere.
Negative experience: I called about a car rental on Monday I was told someone (woman) would call me be back in an hour that was two days ago I'm still waiting on that call.... Jeopardy music is now playing...smh

Fantastic experience: I called to inquire about a gift membership. I had a very good conversation with AAA representative. And put the gift membership on an automatic renewal for my daughter (in Franklin) and her family.

Negative experience: We went up to office today to try and book a vacation and the woman we spoke to was rude and treated us as if we we're not worth her time. But thank you to her we found the same trip she had showed us for hundreds cheaper.
Fantastic experience: Love this place for AAA member services. Karen facilitated passport photos for my teenage boys, and the experience was seamless. She also helped me learn about benefits I didn't know I had and therefore wasn't using! Thank you, Karen!

Fantastic experience: Didn't known they were there. What a pleasant surprise. I mistakenly arrived during lunch and several people were on their break. They were very busy but tried to do their best juggling all the request from walk-ins to phone calls. Suggestion: call ahead for and appointment for more complete attention.

Negative experience: Have been a member for years. Broke down in midtown Memphis at night and was told they could not help, but they could call a private unaffiliated service to tow me 7 miles to the nearest Mercedes dealership for $396. I cancelled my membership. After all, exactly what am I paying for if not for disabled vehicle assistance?
Fantastic experience: Loved the printed maps they had and I feel safe traveling with AAA in my wallet .
Positive experience: If you are from California and you're going to be surprised at what AAA doesn't do in Tennessee you cannot register a vehicle at AAA in Tennessee but you can get a driver's license which you cannot do in California
Negative experience: I spoke with someone this morning about planning a trip to France. I obviously needed the travel service and was told that they could not help me and suggested I go online to do the planning. Can you explain to me what services your trip services are covered - I am a classic member but would upgrade to Premium if I can receive the help I need. I am planning a trip to France - no tour, or cruise. I have been a member off and on for years.
Negative experience: My friend signed up with AAA home insurance on October 15th, 2018. He received a polic ynumber with AAA but his mortgage company did not receive the proper insurance paperwork. AAA cancelled my friends policy without notice; he only recieved notice when his home mortgage company notified him by mail that he lacked home insurance coverage . He tried to reinstate his policy but the customer service agents were unprofessional and not willing to help. My friend was going back and forth with several agents in order to get this issue resolved. He finally decided to go with a competitor for home insurance and not deal with the lack of professionalism from AAA. I'm posting his experiences with the company because he does not have a Google account.

Fantastic experience: I get AAA membership because of the convenience of getting free travel maps and guides and of course the roadside assistance for the whole family. Using AAA for roadside assistance saves a lot of headaches.
