Fantastic experience: Andy at Advantage Grand Canyon was a great resource to book our 14 Day Grand Canyon Classic Adventure. He was very knowable and aligned us with a great company(AZRA). He choose the correct trip for us, we got to experience 3 different types of rafts on our journey down the Grand Canyon.

Fantastic experience: The office staff and the crew are incredible people with fantastic senses of humor. The rafting crew members each possess skill sets that boggle the mind. Fortunately on the trip I took (the hike down is A LOT), the weather was absolutely perfect and the other rafters delightful. We saw wildlife and waterfalls, were educated on geology and history, and were very well fed. Highly recommend, 2 thumbs up and a swirl!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience! We contacted Andy who after understanding what we were looking for in a rafting trip gave us EXCELLENT guidance for two sixty-year-olds and three twenty somethings. The outfitter we chose was beyond expectations: food was really good and freshly made (no scout freezed dried meals here), guides were skilled at their craft guiding us down the river, taking us on side hikes and explaining how we could swim the rapids. They shared insights into the canyon geology and entertained us with stories from Grand Canyon lore. Our guide, Jake, sat up one night, pointed out the various constellations and share a plethora of information about the skies with us. Shout out to Jake, Jeff and Joe from Tour West! We were all trepedatious about the food, endurance, weather and (*cough, cough*) restroom facilities. Absolutely no need to worry. They know what they are doing so don't let that stop you!

Fantastic experience: Very professional, excellent rafting tour. Took the 1/2 day smooth water tour up from Lees Ferry. Actually booked it through Aramark since we had to coordinate meeting them at Lees Ferry as we stayed in Marble Canyon and did not need the bus ride from Page. All worked very smoothly and wonderful trip! Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Amazing trip! Guides were friendly, on the ball, helpful. If you hike down the Bright Angel Trail for a lower canyon rafting trip, be sure to prepare well and do the recommended hikes. Beautiful views and side trips. The weather was hot, but we had plenty of river water available to keep us cool. The Havasu creek was especially wonderful. Campsites were impeccable when we arrived - and when we left. The guides truly care about the cleanliness of the sites and are vigilant about ensuring we leave the campsites as good or better than how we found them. They also made a point of retrieving a few human articles (not ours) that we saw floating in the river. The professional tour groups are highly invested in ensuring that the Canyon is maintained for current and future generations. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Alejandra at Advantage Grand Canyon, helped us choose the perfect trip and she was there for all of our questions! She steered us right! We had an amazing trip! Wilderness River Adventures is awesome! Jenny is the best lead guide! She was spunky, fun, informative and truly cared about us and our safety! Ally, Cam and Mac were also super awesome! All of them took great care of us! We couldn’t have had any better crew! The meals were amazing, and there was plenty of food and fun!The rapids were awesome and side trips amazing! We had the opportunity to make new friends, and what wonderful friends they are! The plane and helicopter rides allowed us to witness the beautiful Grand Canyon from above! Bar 10 Ranch was a nice way to ease us back into the real world. A nice hot shower and great lunch! Everyone was so amazing, friendly and kind on our entire trip. Fantastic experience: Rafted the spectacular Colorado River through the Grand Canyon for 188 spectacular miles. Tour West and Advantage Grand Canyon Adventure Rafting Trips and Tours earned every one of the five stars. Booking, planning, then execution were seamless and simple. Boats, equipment, food, guides, River and Canyon all exceeded my group’s high expectations. If this trip is not on your bucket list, add it. An absolute must.

Fantastic experience: This was such a memorable experience! Not only do you get to take a fun boat ride north on the river, once you're dropped off with your kayak, you have the flexibility to paddle at your own pace and stop off on the numerous beaches on the way back to Lee's ferry. The views were incredible.

Fantastic experience: I recently had the incredible opportunity to go on a Grand Canyon rafting trip with Tour West; it was everything I dreamed of and more. The scenery was breathtaking, the food was delicious, and the guides, Kyle and Joe, were fantastic. From the moment we arrived at the lodge, the night before setting off, Kyle and Joe ensured we were all comfortable and well-prepared. They gave us a thorough safety briefing and set expectations for the next few days. They were also incredibly knowledgeable about the Grand Canyon and its history and shared their insights with us throughout the trip. One of the things I enjoyed most about the trip was the side hikes. We hiked to ancient ruins, explored hidden canyons, and swam in a waterfall. The hikes could be challenging, but Kyle and Joe were always there to help us and ensure we were safe. Another highlight of the trip was the food. The guides at Tour West are indeed master chefs as well. They prepared delicious and nutritious meals three times a day, even in the middle of the wilderness. We had everything from curry and spaghetti to steaks and more. But the best part of the trip was sleeping on a cot under the stars. The weather was perfect every night, and each camp gave breathtaking night sky views. Waking up in the morning to fantastic canyon walls, wildlife nearby, and a hearty breakfast was also a plus. Overall, my Grand Canyon rafting trip with Tour West was an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a thrilling and unforgettable adventure.

Fantastic experience: WOW! A friend and I just spent 8 days floating through the entire Grand Canyon, a 188-mile phenomenal trip with WRA (Wilderness River Adventures). I found the trip through AGC (Advantage Grand Canyon). AGC and Alejandra who works there were so great to work with. They helped me find the trip I wanted, on sale even! AGC will give you the same price as you will get from calling the 16 outfitters directly (and sometimes even a better price). I met someone on my trip who had done a ton of work in creating a spreadsheet to compare all the 16 Grand Canyon outfitters. There is no need to do this! Go directly to AGC and work with them. This is what they do best. Eventually I contacted WRA directly, but 90% of my trip planning was with AGC. Thanks AGC and Alejandra! I had an awesome trip and now I have fantastic pictures to help me remember the experience.

Fantastic experience: Our Grand Canyon adventure was just that-Grand!!

Fantastic experience: What a Great Trip, Private Plane trip, Horseback Riding, 4-wheel trail ride, Great food, Evening Entertainment with Line Dancing and Sing along, Sleep in a Covered Wagon, Next morning it is up and away in a Helicopter thru the Grand Canyon to the launch site, get your gear together load up the raft and your off on the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon. Sun, Water and Scenery is what you will be enjoying. Make Camp and spend a night under the Moonlight and the Stars. Then off to the whitewater. Dock and gather your gear, load it up on to a Speed Boat and down the river to the takeout point. What a Great Fun Filled Adventure for all. We were with a group between 12 and 79 years of age. Can’t tell you all, but there are some pleasant surprises that will stay in your memory for a LIFETIME. The Staff and Crew are very knowledgeable and are more than willing to share their knowledge of and their Grand Canyon experiences.

Besides the quality of the food, rafts, attention to details, etc. what it makes this one different was our guides. I am sure they have great ones but, if can ask for Nate, Wilbert & Sierra, you’ll be in the best hands!!!! Would recommend the experience, the business and the people who took care of us!

Fantastic experience: The idea of white water rafting down the Colorado thru Grand Canyon was something I had not contemplated until a friend of mine asked me to join a trip he was planning. Fantastic experience: Wow, what a trip, not only did we get to reconnect with old friends but made special new ones. Fantastic experience: Staff: Nate “Tater”, lead guide, was the consummate professional and probably the primary success factor of the trip (besides the grandeur of the scenery). He was a guiding force for the other guides without being overbearing or “out-front”. He kept the entire trip on schedule, ensured our comfort, and provided the information we needed for safety and enjoyment. We encountered 40+ MPH winds the second day out and it slowed our progress considerably. Nate made the decision to camp earlier than intended to allow us to dry out and warm up. He got us going in a timely manner the next morning and made up the time before the winds became an issue again. We were not rushed and the experience was much more comfortable. On the 5th night a small rattlesnake was discovered near one of the campsites. Again, Nate quietly and efficiently relocated the snake with no fanfare or disruption. His interaction with the staff made the atmosphere enjoyable-there was a camaraderie that was infectious for the travelers. As you would expect the travelers had a wide range of abilities and temperaments- Nate was very effective at monitoring the “temperature” of the group, dealing with situations before they became an issue, and listened to everyone. When one raft was concerned they were not able to get first choice of campsites because they were in the rear, Nate simply switched raft groups at the midpoint of the trip, effectively dealing with the issue. Kale, Billie and Drew were a pleasure to be around. They were in the background but when something needed to be done, they were there. One of the travelers, a lady who was very unsteady on her feet and not physically equipped for the trip, fell run the river while we were all gathered for a presentation by Nate. She was approximately 15’ from the group and went under very quickly. Kale and Drew jumped two bow ropes and were getting her up in seconds. Once it was apparent they had her safe and the situation in hand, Nate and Billie kept the group focused on the presentation so the traveler was not further embarrassed. This is an example of the teamwork and observance of the entire staff. Food: Every meal was delicious- fresh, made from scratch and very well balanced. We got fresh salads every day in a variety of formats and containing legumes, green leafy vegetables, corn, tomatoes, avocados, etc. Breakfasts were varied and even included made to order omelets on one day. They were always on time and fully satisfying. Organization: Again, the staff fully communicated with the travelers to ensure we knew what to da and when. The trip was a well-oiled machine without seeming like work. Dish duty was considered a privilege and the “bag-line” was something everyone wanted to be part of- no one wanted to give up their position! Set up and take down instructions were clear; campsites were excellent. The pre-trip instructions on what to bring were spot-on and the videos were very helpful. The dispersal of hikes and Little Colorado River body-surfing made the experience more than a raft trip and were some of the more memorable points of the trip. Equipment: All of the equipment was in good condition and provided what we needed. I would recommend the addition of pads for the cots for those of us with “older” backs. In short, the trip was an incredible experience and your organization put together a wonderful package. I strongly recommend this for anyone interested in a total canyon rafting experience.

Fantastic experience: If you've ever thought about doing a Grand Canyon River float just do it... you will not regret it. I went in April which is considered a shoulder season so it isn't too hot. After being on the rapids though I think it would be just as fun in the summer.

Got a bunch of friends together and hiked down the South Rim of the Grand Canyon and then picked up a tour rafting down the Colorado River through the Canyon! AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL scenery while rafting with Canyoneers Rafting Adventures! The crew was friendly, professional and WOW you really get taken care of with delicious meals, desserts and side canyon hiking adventures... Fantastic experience: I did the antelope canyon tour on 04/27. Trent was amazing and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond and made the tour totally worth it! I wish I'd left a tip, but I didn't realize that was a thing for these kinds of things (I mean, it costs $200 to book!) so I feel bad about that, but if you're reading this Trent, you rock!

Fantastic experience: We did not know what to expect when we started looking into a rafting trip through the Grand Canyon when we first contacted Advantage Grand Canyon. Starla and Andy were very helpful in helping us choose the right trip for us - we chose the eight day motorized full canyon trip with Wilderness River Adventures. My wife and I both just retired at age 67 and this was "the event" to celebrate that milestone in our lives so it was important to us (the cost also made it important to us for it was a stretch on our income). From the orientation to being dropped off at our car after the trip the young men and one young lady we worked with from WRA went out of their way and made every effort to make sure that this was the trip of the lifetime. James and Nate who guided our two boats down the river and Chris and Cam our two "swampers" were absolutely amazing. And, not only on the river, but the food they prepared was as good as you can get in the best of restaurants will full kitchens on dry land. One of our party had his birthday while on the river and the guys made a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting in a dutch oven that was out of this world. I was so touched by their kindness that I couldn't sing happy birthday I was so choked up with emotion. PS - the cake was so good I had a couple of pieces of it for breakfast! Another time I talked my wife into getting into the bathtub with me (the front two or three seats on the raft where you often get buried with a wall of water on a regular basis). As we approached some fairly big rapids Nate came up and sat beside Sharon and with me on the other side of her she went through some rapids where we really got wet (totally buried!} - he helped her experience something that alone she might have bailed out on. These guys not only did what they needed to do to make the trip safe and fun for all, but they did little extra things for all of us that made the trip a once in a lifetime (unless we can save the money to go back again) adventure and the best trip that we could have possible experienced. I would highly recommend both of these companies and the trip in general. The Canyon is spectacular from the top and more so from the bottom and these folks can help you choose a trip that is right for you. There are things on the trip - from huge waves of cold water, to sleeping under the stars or full moon (we got both), to peeing in the river that may take you far outside of your comfort zone but that is what makes it an adventure!
