Fantastic experience: We did the glacier dog sledding tour and it was beyond exceptional! One of the coolest things we've ever done on a trip. We lucked out and had a beautiful day. All the staff were phenomenal. In the office, the pilots and especially, the sled staff up on the glacier. The dogs a blast also! These folks love what they are doing and we were thrilled to be a part of it. This was a highlight of a lifetime. Helicopter up onto a glacier to the go dog sledding. Just an absolute blast and thrilling experience. Mind numbing fun and incredibly beautiful! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Our pilot’s name was Micah and while he said he was new to Alaska he was a wealth of information and sounded like he was native to the state. We did the Prince William Sound tour and were blown away by the breathtaking views and our time out of the helicopter next to a glacier. I was able to spread my mom’s ashes during this tour - she always wanted to do a family trip to Alaska before she passed but we were never able to do it. This was the perfect opportunity and setting for honoring her memory. Saw several moose and learned a lot about the areas we flew over. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

Fantastic experience: This was probably the best experience we’ve had! My wife and I had never been in a helicopter and wanted to see what it was like. The team was super friendly, and the pilot made the ride incredibly smooth, there wasn’t even any bumps when landing or taking off. The landscapes are beautiful, and it was great to actually stand on a glacier. Would absolutely recommend and would go back in a heartbeat if we visit again!

Fantastic experience: Mika was our tour guide and he was great! We spotted a black bear and a bunch of mountain goats, he explained everything we were watching and even got us to drink glacier water. We had an amazing experience and the views were breathtaking. 10/10 recommend

Fantastic experience: I got a birthday present to do a helicopter flight with Alpine Air and man am I glad we did! Our pilot Mytty was awesome and very friendly while also being safety first. He was a great pilot and knew a lot about the area. Landing on the glaciers was also amazing and totally a life changing experience. The helicopter was comfortable and clean. You seriously need to just do a flight with them!

Fantastic experience: Thrilling and amazing!! Alpine Air had the best friendly team operating shuttles, office & the heli which made the experience 10x more enjoyable. I was able to book same day. I was on the fence about which activity to do on my free day while in Anchorage for a while. It was definitely the right pick! We had a few lovely days over the weekend and with clear skies we were able to see the Chugach mountains and valleys so clearly. The fall colors were beautiful. Such a dream

Fantastic experience: We took a helicopter ride with a glacier landing on our last day in Alaska, and it was an incredible experience. The helicopter landed on the glacier near a beautiful water feature, offering breathtaking views. However, the only downside was the limited time—10-15 minutes on the glacier, which included getting on and off the helicopter. I wish we had more time to explore. The views were spectacular, and it's worth noting that a helicopter ride is a completely different experience from a flightseeing tour, especially with how and where the helicopter lands. I highly recommend doing both if you can. If you're looking to spend more time on the glacier, a guided glacier hike is a better option. Also, don’t forget to bring a bottle to collect some glacier water—it's incredibly fresh!

Fantastic experience: We spent 11 days in Alaska going all the way from Seward to Fairbanks. This excursion was by far my favorite part of the entire trip. The staff is incredibly kind and knowledgeable. The helicopter ride was breathtaking. It's amazing to see people caring so much for their team of dogs and being willing to share them with us. We were on a glacier in the middle of mountains riding the dog sled! Absolutely incredible - it didn't even feel real!

Fantastic experience: Outstanding experience with the folks at Alpine Air Alaska. Booking was easy and the people at the office were very kind. Our pilot was incredible and super smooth. There were a few of us, myself included, that was our very first helicopter ride. Now I want fly more! We flew out of Girdwood to the glacier to go sledding with the dogs. Such a wonderful company and the people are simply awesome!

Fantastic experience: If we could give this place a 100 for reviews we would! The experience was amazing from start to finish. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, super careful about safety, patient, fun, and on time. They geared us up well for a chilly experience on a glacier. The helicopter ride up was smooth and exhilarating. Once we got onto the glacier, we got to visit the dogs that were so excited to go running. We even spent about 15 minutes with the cute puppies that had been born a few weeks earlier. The sled ride itself was such a fun experience-it's hard to describe. It's such a unique kind of adventure. I was actually the one braking in the back & fell off while trying to brake. No worries though. The guide braked at the next earliest opportunity & waited for me to rejoin. My family will cherish this tour for the rest of our lives!

Fantastic experience: We had the most amazing time on the helicopter glacier sled dog tour, could not stop smiling with happiness. The pups were so cute. The company organised a transfer from Anchorage and the driver Aaron was very freindly and wounderfully knolagable and kept us entertain on the 30 minute senic drive. The mushers were very freindly and chaty and the dogs just love to be patted. Dont be put off if the weather is not perfect, we went on a cloudy and a bit rainy day, but once on the snow feild you don't really notice it. On a clear day the heli ride would be amazing .We loved this excursion from start to finish and highly recomend it. Jeff and Sandi. (Aussies)

Fantastic experience: DON'T HESITATE! JUST BOOK! My husband and I eloped in Alaska and decided to go with Alpine Air Alaska as our charter company. From the second we called their office to inquire about their packages to the end of our wedding day, the staff were nothing short of friendly and helpful. There was not a single bad egg in that entire company. Every single person we encountered there always had a smile and spoke to us as if we were friends, not customers. This made a world of a difference. Of course with every wedding even elopements, things never turn out as planned. The day we had originally booked had awful weather and the helicopter couldn't safely land and fly in certain areas. As a bride, I couldn't think because they just told me the entire day I had planned was not able to happen. However, Zach, our pilot was able to pull strings and work things out for us so in the end we ended up getting exactly what we wanted just not on the same day we had originally planned which was fine! They went above and beyond, went the extra mile and did everything they all could humanly possible to be able to pull off our elopement. They are definitely pricey but I would have paid them every cent and then some just for the way they treated us and their hospitality. They have a great group of people that are really just there to make sure you get everything you want out of your tour. Absolutely would recommend them over and over again.

From the ladies at the front desk to our pilot every single person and moment was wonderful. Our pilot showed us glaciers, wildlife and other sights that took our breath away. If you have one thing on your Alaskan bucket list, it should be to fly with Alpine Air.

Fantastic experience: Friendly, accommodating, professional, talented. From coming in late to meet Megan to our helicopter pilot, I really felt welcomed and comfortable here. From getting suited up, if needed, to checking out and making sure you get your gratuity covered, which you should, these guys have it covered. My/our pilot was fantastic and the helicopter ride could not have been smoother, from backing out of our space to riding up the valley to cresting the mountains to reveal Punchbowl Glacier. Well planned, executed, and smooth as glass. Lots of talent here supporting a vacation fantasy for sure. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Glacier Dog Sledding should be on everyone’s LIFE LIST! The staff were knowledgeable, personable and did an excellent job of providing information about the culture of the native locals, as well as being transparent about the operation of the dog sled camp. Calvin was a top notch musher who recently completed the Iditarod race. It was an amazing experience from immediately being greeted by staff, watching the helicopters take off and land to petting puppies of future sled team. I can’t wait for the next time!

Positive experience: Just went on this tour. Beautiful day to fly! I have come to Alaska twice and done several different tours, this one is definetly over priced. The helicopter ride is 5min, they never say that. Then, the sleding part is around a big snowfield for 20mins. That’s it! Not worth the price, after having a good time, with friendly staff it all felt like a rip-off.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I absolutely loved our dogsledding experience with Alpine Air during our recent trip to Alaska. The entire team worked hard to make sure it was a safe, memorable and fun experience. The helicopter ride up to the glacier was breathtaking and a great way to take in the beauty of the surrounding area. Being up on the glacier with the dogs is an experience I will never forget! We were able to interact with the dogs (and puppies!) and learn about the Iditarod race before we hopped on the sled and did a tour of the glacier. This was truly the experience of a lifetime and is something we’d recommend for anyone visiting the area!

Fantastic experience: Olivia was our pilot. She was from Germany and looked about 18 years old. She’s been flying 8 years. She was amazing at her job which allowed us to enjoy the flight with no concerns. I have been on numerous r44 helicopters and this ride and sights seen win over them all. We saw atleast 50 seals laying on small icebergs. Some only had one seal and some had several. slow video down and zoom into see them all. The whole ride and sights seen was magical. didn’t seem real it was so magnificent. Blew Hawaii helicopter flight away. see my pics and videos. First day of a two week trip here. Can’t imagine anything else we see or do will top this. I’m 59 years old and this makes #1 for me and i’ve done a lot.

I walked in without an appointment and they quickly got to work trying to accommodate me and make sure that all safety requirements were met. After helping me through several options, I ended up traveling up to the Glaciers where they even had even more safety gear to ensure a safe and beautiful adventure on the ice. I was impressed by the friendliness and thoughtfulness of the pilot. Hands down the best birthday experience I could have asked for. Fantastic experience: Did dogsledding and glacier landing tours. Was fantastic! We were originally booked for a later date that was looking to have terrible weather and so they called us to see if we would be able to switch and come that afternoon since the weather was so nice. They didn't have to do that and we ended up having such a wonderful experience and were able to get amazing pictures. Very thankful to the whole team who helped to coordinate. Things that we didn't know going in was that even the dogsledding includes a ride on the helicopter over the mountains which was awesome. They also provide shuttle services from Anchorage and Girdwood.

Fantastic experience: Took the helicopter up to the Punchbowl Glacier for dog sledding. It was incredible. Staff both in the office and on the glacier were some warm, welcoming, and informative. We had a blast despite the rainy conditions. The helicopter ride was SO smooth. It is a beautiful ride and then out of nowhere appears the dog “camp”. Feels like you’re in a movie. Definitely recommend!!!

Fantastic experience: After having another company cancel our heli/dogsledding tour last minute, with only one day left on our vacation I frantically searched for someone else and came across Alpine Air and am so glad I did! We had the most amazing helicopter and dogsledding experience. All the staff including who helped make the reservation, who picked us up, got us ready in our gear, the pilot, & musher were super nice, friendly and professional. And of course the star of it all - the dogs and adorable puppies to play with after. We would definitely recommend Alpine Air Alaska to anyone looking for a safe helicopter & dogsledding tour.

Fantastic experience: Did two tours, the glacier discovery and punch bowl tour with the sled dogs. Olivia was a great pilot and did wonderful narratives. Playing with the pups was wonderful, five weeks old. Puppy breath and bites made me want to go home and get a puppy. It was a fantastic adventure.

Fantastic experience: We did the dog sled tour and everyone from the Alpine air staff, to the folks at the dog sled camp, to the dogs themselves were so friendly and helpful. This tour was amazing! We enjoyed every minute of it. We happen to go on one of the rare crystal clear days. The flight over was amazing, as we were able to see for miles. The dog sled ride itself was so fun and the icing on the cake was getting to snuggle the husky puppies. I highly recommend this incredible tour.

Dogsledding atop a glacier is a once-in-a-lifetime experience and of course the puppies were sooooo cute! My teens thought it was awesome too (score 1 for mom!). Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: My family and I recently participated in the helicopter/dogsled experience through Alpine Air Alaska. WOW! This was an experience of a life time, that exceeded any expectation. The entire experience from the helicopter ride, to the first glimpse of the dog training camp, meeting the dogs (puppies too!), watching and learning, the sled ride (OMG!), and the wonderful and knowledgeable staff. Rylie and Whitney were spectacular hosts. The game of Yahtzee at the end, while awaiting the helicopter, was an added bonus. WONDERFUL!

Fantastic experience: Great communication from the start. Carmen was a gem to work with. She Made sure we knew exactly what was going on every step of the way. Though we got extremely lucky with weather I’m sure if the weather was not up to par they would work with families to reschedule/find a solution. Jonathon was our pilot and guide and did an awesome job. If I ever come back to Alaska I would definetely only use this Alpine.

Fantastic experience: Booked this trip 9 months ago and I had booked a fluff day so when the weather didn’t cooperate we were able to shift to the next day. 14 of us got to go. AND there were newish puppies!!!!

Fantastic experience: We had a flight scheduled to go dogsledding but the weather did not cooperate and we weren’t able to fly. Everybody at Alpine Air was so wonderful helping us figure out a plan B. We waited a day and the weather was perfect to get to dogsledding which was spectacular. We added on a flight seeing tour and Nate and Tiana were awesome, taking us to some of the absolute coolest places we’ve ever seen. Highly recommend Alpine Air!

John, our pilot, provided beautiful views, smooth landings, and fun facts... and some great family photos. Joe carted us around and kept us entertained while we waited. We could tell the whole staff just wanted to make sure we had the best experience.

Fantastic experience: Unfortunately due to weather our dog sledding excursion was cancelled, but since rescheduling for another day wasn’t an option the staff worked to figure out a way to make a sightseeing tour happen for us.  It was an amazing experience that we won’t soon forget. Highly recommend Alpine Air Alaska… the staff is super friendly and helpful, and the sightseeing tour is 100% worth it!

Fantastic experience: Words can not describe our experience. Our son was born into a wheelchair and we were determined to not let that deter his sence of adventure. The staff at Alpine Air Alaska went out of their way to make our son get to the top of glacier and ride the dogs. Their smiles of making this dream come true happen were wider than ours. Fantastic experience: Everything was super fun...even in the rain! The helicopter flight up and back, actually riding on the sled with the dogs pulling in the snow and holding the puppies was great. Whitney was kind and generous with us telling us stories while we waited for the rain to settle down a little so the copter could get in. HIGHLY recommend!

Positive experience: Great views of the glacier . Subtracting one star because the pilot did not give us enough time on the glacier (we were told 15-20 mins) but it was barely 7-8 mins.

Fantastic experience: Amazing adventure! The Helicopter ride up and down was nice and smooth. When we got up they had a litter of new puppies that was just born that we were able to cuddle while we waited for the other group of sledding dogs to come back and got a good time of Singing Blue. Walking down the line of dogs hooked up was amazing especially how friendly and cuddly that were. Mushing was very fun and I was on the sled with 3 seats. I didn't get the "Princess Seat" but I did mush my own sled and was Assistant sledding when a beautiful cloud of fog rolled over us. Finishing the trip we got history of the camp and how amazing it was, especially leaning that some of our dogs were family of winning dogs! The return trip was just as good and our pilot even flew by some mountain goats for us. Overall this was an amazing way to spend my birthday.

We were a family of 4-- 2 kids under 7 --and from the moment we arrived they took good care of us. The extra clothes and boots were helpful as we would've been cold otherwise! The helicopter pilots were amazing and the camp team were so knowledgeable and fun! There's a lot of dog sled companies around, but this one was a gem! I would highly recommend to anyone in Alaska!

Fantastic experience: We had a great time with Alpine Air! My girlfriend and I did the helicopter/dogsledding tour with her nieces and nephews and they enjoyed every bit of this experience. It’s a list for dog lovers and kids, they kept wanting to pet the dogs and even some sledding of their own after the dogsled ride and we had hot chocolate afterwards. Must do!

Fantastic experience: The heli/dogsled adventure was unbelievable! Just got home and can't stop talking about it and looking at all our pictures and video. It was raining the day of our tour so we weren't sure how that was going to affect our experience. Besides being a little colder from getting wet it really didn't take away from it at all. In fact, because there were light clouds and mist, it made the ascent to the glacier feel a little more mysterious. Seeing the dog camp set up in the middle of nowhere was surreal. And jumping out of the helicopter under the moving rotors made me feel like I was in an action movie. Everyone at camp--humans and dogs--were so friendly and welcoming. It's amazing that they stay up there for months! The ride on the sled was more rigorous than expected (in a great way!) The terrain was not perfectly flat like I had envisioned and there were a series of dips and hills we quite literally flew over. I was up front on the princess seat and had a blast holding on! I did get pelted from the rain and was absolutely soaked at the end of it all, but it was so worth it!! Getting to go in rain/overcast did not take away from this experience at all. Made it seem more rugged to be exposed to the elements. I don't know how many people can say they've gotten to ride in a dog sled, but I'm thrilled to be in that club. This experience is in the top 5 of coolest things I've done. And let's not forget about the staff on the ground and in the air. Everyone there is a pleasure to talk to and are so helpful. The office staff get you all geared up and ready to go and the pilots were knowledgeable about the surroundings. Leading up to the big day, I had multiple staff members follow-up to confirm everything, make sure we had transportation out there, etc. They have a great team. I would love to book another tour with Alpine Air Alaska! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: We had an amazing & breathtaking helicopter ride to a glacier with a lake, we renamed after our wonderful pilot, “Lake Nathan”. What a treat it was to see the mountain range, glacier and wildlife of Alaska by the sky… stunning! We highly recommend this trip to anyone! It was awesome! TYSVM Pilot Nathan & Alpine Air crew and staff! 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️!!
