Fantastic experience: Grand View Tour, early September. Absolutely a top, incredible experience in my life! The sights in and around the Kenai Fjords National Park are amazing, and an hour with Seward Helicopters was just awesome. They worked with us to reschedule later that morning when clouds and rain stuck around overnight. The flight (my first heli experience) was smooth and impressive. The pilot was knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend the full 60-minutes, and to spend that time in the air. Later in my trip, I did a glacier landing near Juneau, and I felt that the heli flight was less special, and felt more like a taxi service instead of a full exploration of the sights. I will remember this trip for the rest of my life! Thank you.

Fantastic experience: As an eloping bride I cannot say enough great things about Seward Helicopters. They went above and beyond to reschedule us due to weather, were timely in communication, our flight was amazing and our pilot Neo made sure our photographer got the shots she wanted, and the main selling point for me was their guide, Max, who stays at the yurt and was our kayak guide. He kept us safe and helped us get amazing photos. Fantastic experience: The Best! This is the one you book as long as Shelby is the pilot. Ask to make sure! You will enjoy the tour with Shelby as pilot - he does amazing tour- he knows the environment like the back of his hand!

Fantastic experience: Renzo crushed it. We did a 45 minute scenic glacier tour over the Kenai fjord and we didn’t want it to end. Our host Chris was great and walked thru the procedures and aircraft. Renzo was informative and great guide over the glaciers and tundra. Would go again tomorrow!

Fantastic experience: This was an amazing experience. It's a must do if you have room for it in your budget (in my opinion, it's worth the price). The helicopter ride is short and fast, but the views are awesome. The dog sledding itself is pretty tame (low speeds), but it's definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience. You get to spend some time with the dogs as well (they're very friendly). I would highly recommend this. Our pilot, Renzo, was great. You can't get these views from anywhere but the air.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience! The office staff was very nice, the pilot was informative and polite, and the mushers were awesome to talk to! They answered all our annoying questions about the dogs. Very smooth helicopter ride when we went. Beautiful scenery, not too cold in the beginning of September, but plenty of snow! We had lots of time to meet all the dogs and play with the puppies before flying back, where we even saw mountain goats making a trek! This is a must do activity for sure.

Fantastic experience: When we asked each other at the end of our vacation, "What did you like best?", we both picked our helicopter trip. Renzo did a great job of varying our altitude and approach angle so that we were both awed by the incredible scale of the ice and amazed by its features. To pick out bears and otters on the ground while flying speaks to good eyes and experience on his part. A great way to experience Kenai Fjords NP.

Fantastic experience: Great time today on the dog sledding helicopter tour. The staff on the ground were very efficient and got us to the glacier for our dogsledding experience. Our pilot was great pointing out things on the way up. Great landings and very professional.

Fantastic experience: Well, what can I say? It's like a movie, the attention is incredible, the dogs are very well trained. I went with my family, my husband and my 5-year-old son, who has autism. They were very patient with my child, even though it could have been complicated at times, but it wasn't. We were able to do it without any problems, and we played with the puppies without mentioning the magnificent photo opportunities you can have here. So I totally recommend it 100%. The helicopter pilot explained what we saw along the way; it was very dynamic.

Fantastic experience: Trouble with google is you can’t give more than 5 stars. Shelby our pilot, excellent. I’m a licensed pilot. With 17K hours in the air, I can tell a safe pilot in seconds. Equipment R-44, top shelf well maintained. Safe fight line and briefing crew. Felt so good about our first trip up to the glacier. Love the dog sled ride ride and education was awesome. Dogs are well cared for. Nice to be able to “love” on the puppies. Safety is first with this company. Felt like it was family taking care of me! After my first ride. I let them have the most important thing in my life. My 35th Wedding Anniversary! Flew a private HELO ride with Shelby to Bear Lake. We had a private lunch of AWESOME CRAB, and BBQ. They help take care of all details for me, including Flower for our table! Mistake I made….i didn’t book an over night stay! Shelby was our pilot both ways again! Great company!

Fantastic experience: Amazing tour!! Tour of a lifetime! Helicopter ride to Godwin Glacier with a very experienced pilot and spectacular views of Resurrection Bay, mountains and glaciers! Then greeted by a team who love their jobs! Really fun to dog sled on the glacier and learn about these amazing dogs. And holding the puppies was a great bonus! Can’t recommend highly enough!

Fantastic experience: This is a safe and excellent operation! We loved our quick helicopter flight up to Godwin glacier! Our pilot, Shelby was very competent, careful and informative! She knows this area very well and has flown these routes consistently. Nice bird, great ride and the dog camp was amazing! This is the best tour in Seward so don’t miss out!

Fantastic experience: We decided to do a 45 minute trip on a whim. Best choice yet. It turned out to be the highlight of our Alaska trip. The scenery and glacier flybys were awesome. Renzo, our pilot and guide, made our day. He was an exceptional pilot and full of information about the glaciers, wild life and area as whole. My partner and I would fly again with SHT in a heartbeat.

Fantastic experience: Incredibly safe and professional, epic flight to see glacier and iceberg lake. Our own private helicopter and zero other tourist at destination, simply breathtaking. Must do!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely incredible! The experience didn’t feel real; it was like CGI. Our pilot (I don’t remember his name, but he used to fly in the Swiss alps) was amazing. He was incredibly skilled and did his best to find wildlife for us (during our particular flight, we saw some seals and mountain goats). If you’re even remotely interested in doing this, it’s a must. I would absolutely do it again in a second.

Fantastic experience: This was an amazing experience that everyone should do! We have been on helicopter tours all over the planet and this was by far the very best!! Everyone was great and Renzo was a fantastic pilot!!

Fantastic experience: What a spectacular experience. We booked the helicopter tour, the dog sledding, and the glacial yurt stay. All of them were some of the highlights of our entire trip. The pilot Renzo was incredible and they made booking so easy. Very accommodating for weather and time restraints. Just went above and beyond I cannot recommend them enough!

Fantastic experience: We had a tour booked for the helicopter + sled dog glacier landing but, unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate, and we weren't able to go. We wanted to leave this review, however, because the level of communication about the weather and attempts to reschedule our flight were greatly appreciated. We received the full refund (it did take a few days to come through) of the flight as stated and in place of this tour had them help us book a tour of the kennel that same day (luckily for us there were openings!).

Fantastic experience: Such a wonderful experience! Would recommend to everyone. Our first helicopter rides so we were a little nervous but the pilots were fantastic and I felt more safe than on a commercial airplane flight. Our pilot was from Switzerland and I felt totally safe knowing how much experience he had in mountains/ snow etc. He pointed out a black bear and circled it for us to see. We also saw mountain goats just chillin on top of the mountain. The helicopter ride was by far the highlight of our Alaska trip. The dogsledding was also fun on the glacier. Knowledgeable staff. Can’t believe they live up there for 5 days at a time! Staff was so kind to our kids. The baby fell asleep on the ride down the mountain. I want to relive this experience over and over again!

Fantastic experience: we had the best time with Seward Helicopter Tours. We did the 45 minute scenic tour .My husband is disabled and is an amputee but they helped him onto the helicopter without a problem .On the tour we got to see whales and bear sheep and lots of seals and of course the beautiful glaciers

Fantastic experience: This tour was the highlight of our whole trip. The helicopter ride, scenery, accommodations, and overall experience is second to none. Our guide Nate Grandchamp and his dog Stella were the icing on the cake. Their atttention to detail, knowledge of the area, and overall great personality was awesome. Our pilot Lorenzo was also the best. He went above and beyond to make our flight to and from memorable. This trip is worth every penny.

Fantastic experience: My fiancé and I got engaged on a helicopter tour this past October and we could not have asked for a more perfect experience! The staff is outstanding and was so helpful throughout the planning process before the proposal. The tour was absolutely beautiful and the pilot went out of his way to show us as much scenery as he could. I would recommend them to anyone who is interested in this experience!!!

Fantastic experience: We didn't actually get to fly and sled with Seward helicopter tours due to really bad weather when we were there and that cannot be helped. The team would have loved to have flown us I'm sure and I spoke to the pilot who was lovely. What I have scored the max stars for is the way we were dealt with over it. Elise was fantastic, really helpful and really kind to us, she even arranged for a competitor to provide the activity elsewhere in Alaska. The care for us was amazing and if that's how they treat customers when it's gone wrong, they are not hard to recommend for the actual trip itself.

Fantastic experience: We were supposed to do a helicopter tour to the sled dog kennel up on the glacier but got weathered out. They switched us to a sled dog tour at their kennel in town, which was great. Our kids loved it. I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Seward helicopter tours and the entire team was phenomenal. I can’t say enough things about everyone we met. We eloped out at bear glacier and stayed in their yurts. Jeremy, our pilot, gave us the most unforgettable helicopter rides and is so cool. Troy, our buddy and host of the yurts went above and beyond and showed us all around. We had a blast kayaking together and with Ron. Elise, did everything and anything from helping us pre-plan, getting us a cute local cake, champagne (and bringing her cute dog Alpine) and more, to overall just ensuring we had the most amazing time. I don’t ever leave reviews but I truly felt compelled to after this experience. This is a must do I will never forget it and we will definitely be back.

Fantastic experience: We took the helicopter + dog-sled tour We chanced upon Seward Helicopter Tours while looking at things to do in Seward, and it turned out to be the highlight of our trip! I liked the ease of reading their website and understand exactly what we'll be getting out of the trip, how many minutes, what price, how to pay, etc. It was accurate and didn't leave any room for confusion, which was something that I found off-putting about other tour providers. When we reached the camp, everyone was so polite and helpful. They got us comfortable and offered refreshments, went over the security details, etc. They also offered us boot covers and rain jackets to use for the trip we didn't have one. The helicopter ride was super fun! Our pilot was knowledgeable and kind. Him and one other person helped us get on the flight safely. The trip lasted for about 10-15 minutes till we reached the glacier, where we were greeted by almost 40 dogs in the camp and three mushers! We did a sled-tour for about 25 minutes, then got a chance to play with the 6-month old puppies and interact with the huskies. Being dog lovers, it was the best part of the trip! Helicopter tours + dog-sleds are not inexpensive by any means, but if you can, I would highly recommend you to try out Seward Helicopter tours, it will be a memory of a lifetime!

Fantastic experience: Amazing, unforgettable experience! Jeremy made out 30 minute iceberg tour extra special. He entertained our 4.5 year old son, spotted black bears, and performed some fun aerial maneuvers. Seward Helicopter Tours was very accommodating. We originally booked the dog sled glacier tour, but weather forced us to cancel. They were able to rebook us on the sightseeing tour.

Fantastic experience: Summary: awesome time, great views, warm people and dogs. Highlight of my vacation! Pros: - Every person we interacted with was friendly. Shoutout to our driver who took the time to show us the bald eagle nests before dropping us back to the hotel, our helicopter pilots who had a snarky sense of humor, and our musher Jason who was really friendly and open about his life. - Awesome views of the mountains and glacier on the helicopter. - Fun time sledding and petting the huskies and playing with and carrying the puppies! - Good briefings and safety information to keep us on track. - Fairly prompt with timing though there was an overall 10-20 min delay. - Not really owing to the company, but I think we came at an awesome day and time of year (July, warm enough, and fairly clear skies) Cons: - nothing I can think of, to be honest Overall: it's a one in a lifetime experience. Flying in a helicopter, getting pulled around by huskies, getting to pet them, and all with friendly locals guiding you. Do it!

Fantastic experience: All I have to say is amazing. We were lifted up through amazing views through the mountain and onto a glacier. When we landed, we had a chance to see the dogs and even play with the new born husky's. Then we were able to do a real dog sled ride around the glacier while the musher really taught us about mushing and the Alaskan life. It really was an amazing experience, one that will never be forgot.

Fantastic experience: This was a wonderful experience our helicopter pilot that was from Switzerland was wonderful very kind very respectful. And I’m Usher Brandon was such a considerate young man made sure that we were able to be safe all the time and not fall down on the snow. The puppies were really sweet and we just enjoyed ourselves immensely.

Fantastic experience: We arrived in late September when the weather was starting to turn. We weren't sure if we would even be able to do our flight with the forecast. The crew at Seward Helicopters were great, they watched the weather and moved our tour time to make sure we had a good trip. They were on top of everything, phone calls, messages and scheduling. We were lucky enough to get our one hour tour and glacier landing in beautiful sunny sky's!! Tanner was amazing! He asked what we wanted to see on our flight and went above and beyond to give us the best flight possible. He surpassed anything we could've hoped for! Fantastic experience: Hands Down our most enjoyed Activity in Alaska! We toured as much of Alaska as we could in 8 days. Everything from hiking in Denali to a private boat tour in Homer. The helicopter tour was at the top activity we enjoyed and talked about the most. My wife and I were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. Most of our tours involved hiking where we could only see so much (with hours of walking involved). While we very much enjoyed that, the helicopter tour allowed us to see so much in a relatively short amount of time. Tanner was our pilot and he was fantastic. Everything from pointing out wildlife, providing flexibility in our route, answering our many questions, to playing AC/DC over the headset. He even took the attached picture for us. Coming over the mountaintop to the views of a bay beyond were simply incredible and unforgettable. On a side note, my wife generally does not like flying. Even a big commercial flight gets her a little queasy. I will say I was nervous booking a helicopter tour knowing that she gets "sea-sick" quite easily. I/we could not have been more surprised at how easy and smooth the flight was for her. You are so close to the action but do not have the uneasy feeling. My wife likened the sensation to driving in a car. So if you are nervous about not feeling well, take it from us that was not an issue at all.

Fantastic experience: Was one of the best times I have had. Did this for my 60th bday and worth it! (Spent 50th bday in the Austrian Alps) Excellent ground crew, and our pilot Cody was knowledgeable, friendly, curious and very professional. If I get to stay in Alaska longer, here for work, then I might go again!!! THANKS!

The guide/musher for the dog sleds was extremely upbeat and enthusiastic about what she did making it an even more memorable experience! Both pilots were great with one even taking the time to point out mountain goats and a moose and ensure we saw them. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: Everyone at Seward helicopter Tours was awesome! The whole crew was friendly and helpful and made you feel safe. Tanner was our pilot, he was great at pointing out special sights, and spotting animals. We saw moose’s and mountain goats. The crowning jewel is seeing all the incredible landscape that you would not could not ever see any other way. It is truly aw inspiring. Pictures can not reveal the wonder and beauty that you see from the helicopter. This is the way to see glaciers and so much more. We all loved the flight.

Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful experience! The morning weather was a little foggy so we appreciated Elise keeping in touch with us about the status of our reservation. An hour prior we were called to say that the ride was on although the content of the trip changed a little. We were ok with that! Our pilot Cody was very cool and got us in close for awesome pictures and videos. We felt safe and comfortable the entire experience. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: My wife and I did the Grand Tour for 1 hour and it was incredible! Our pilot, Tanner, customized the trip based on our wishes. He knew where to find the grizzlies salmon fishing as well as the mountain goats roaming the cliffs. He took us to the tops of the mountains and eye level with the glaciers. The cost was nothing compared to the ride of a lifetime. We highly recommend this tour!!

Fantastic experience: This was the highlight of my Alaskan trip. I can’t stop smiling. Godwin Glacier was beautiful and the dog sled ride was phenomenal. I can’t say enough about the staff, from the check-in staff to the helicopter pilot to the dog handlers. Don’t miss this adventure!

Negative experience: We went for Dog Sledding tour. The price is not worth it. We had to wait over 45 minutes for return fight back. Dog Sledding was ok. My guide was really good. After dog Sledding ride and meeting puppies, which lasted for about 30 minutes, we had to wait for about 45 minutes return fight back. FYI: when we went it was rainy and cloudy. Due to weather we did not see much, it was covered by cloud

Fantastic experience: We went on the Grand View Tour and it was spectacular! Our pilot Tanner was great! He was an excellent pilot and tour guide as well, taking us on a great adventure seeing amazing glaciers, waterfalls, and lots of mountain goats! We were fortunate to see pieces of glacial ice that had just recently broken off the end of the glacier flowing into the sea that were a phenomenal blue color (which I’m afraid pictures don’t do truly capture). I would highly recommend flying with Seward Helicopter Tours and definitely doing the Grand View Tour if you’re able to!

Fantastic experience: AMAZING!! From my 1st phone call to inquire about the options, to a weather delay, finally it’s time. Great safety instructions and away we go. We did the 45 minute extended bear glacier tour. Breathtaking. Our pilot was perfect and my daughters were in the second helicopter. The entire family said this was the best part of the entire trip. Fantastic experience: Ground team is very friendly. Pilot is friendly and having lots of patience. Perfect trip to take tons of snaps of nature . I visited with an young kind of 7 years and an infant for this trip. Pilot was super patient when my kind thrown some tantrums in return flight from glacier to the base station. Helicopter ride to glacier for dog sledding was an awesome experience one should have during Alaska trip particularly I would recommend Seward Helicopter tours.

Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful experience today. Kris, Forrest, Sarah and team were very helpful. They let us know about weather related delays and made accomodations to arrange for the make-up flight. Up top on the glacier, the Turning Heads Kennel team was great. Sam was our guide on the dog sledding. He was great. Josh and others were a cool team. It was great fun to hang out with the Huskies. Will recommend to friends and family.

Fantastic experience: I can not Express how amazing this place is. From the beginning to end it couldn't of been a better experience for our first time flying on a helicopter. To my surprise it surpassed my expectations when my now fiance proposed on top of the glacier. The pilots were so generous with taking pictures and giving us the time we needed to enjoy the moment. They had no idea what he was going to do until about 15 mins before take off, when I had stepped outside he had told them. By time we got back they had went out of their way to go get a nice congratulations bag full of goodies and the sweetest card. From the bottom of my heart thank you for making it one of the best memories of my life.

Fantastic experience: This is a must do experience! Worth every penny! The views are spectacular, the dog sledding is fantastic, the puppies are so adorable and every person in our group of all ages (4-57) had a blast!

Fantastic experience: This was an absolutely amazing way to see Alaska! We not only got to see the glaciers and fjords from a view that you cannot hike to, but also moose, bear, Billy goats, and were able to watch the salmon running. Fantastic experience: The views are amazing!! We saw the glaciers from a boat and were in awe; viewing them from the helicopter was majestic. Our pilot was very skilled and circled around points of interest. He was very knowledgeable about the area as well. While the trip isn’t inexpensive it is definitely worth every penny

Fantastic experience: My girlfriend and I did the Helicopter Glacier tour and dog sledding and it was such a cool experience. They take you 3 at a time in the Helicopter where you fly through the mountains and to the top of a Glacier where you meet the mushers as well as a few puppies that love to be held. David was our guide and he was phenomenal. Took us on our ride, stopping a handful of time to let us take pictures and pet the running dogs. The entire group of people on the Glacier were a lot of fun and made the experience worthwhile. Also, if you've never flew in a Helicopter before, this is a great way to start.
