Positive experience: I purchased the pass through Groupon and sadly because it’s a thirty party purchase they are unable to satisfy a customer service discrepancy. The vendors listed on the GoCity pass require reservations but seem to cancel without notice. Some things are beyond our control but communication is not. Although the pass may be good for 14 days if your time a specific city is limited, you may not be able maximize the options. Therefore not getting your moneys worth. Having this knowledge now I will not book through Groupon or GoCity again. Book directly with your vendor of choice. The minor “discount” is not worth the major hassle.

Fantastic experience: This is a “Must Do” tour. We were accompanied by Driver John and Guide John. They were both awesome. Got us to the places fast and we were able to attend the different places without the congestion of the other tours due to their knowledge of the island. I recommend and would even come back to experience this tour again as long as it is with John and John. Recommend coming on Sunday. Mahalo

Fantastic experience: We went with the GoCity Oahu pass, check this out as it is a great deal for tourist attractions. We went on the Oahu city tour with Byodo-in temple and our tour guide was Tim. Tim is an energetic, knowledgeable, and very funny tour guide. He had tons of local knowledge, jokes and trivia that kept the tour very interesting and engaging. Very patient with the tour group, as the expression Houston “killed them with kindness” Thank you Tim!! I can’t imagine a better tour guide than you!!

Negative experience: Buyer Beware! You can only attend 1 luau with the all inclusive pass. Some tours and attractions offered on this pass are in distance of each other for a day of fun. Plan accordingly to get bang for your buck.

Fantastic experience: The pass is an excellent deal if you make good plans to use it well. We had a 4 day trip and bought a 3 day pass. We used it go to the Ka Moana luau, Polynesian Cultural Center, Iolani palace, a catamaran ride at Kualoa Ranch, and a shoreline fishing experience. We were very pleased with the variety and quality of activities. It was a great value and definitely added up to far less than the attractions would have cost individually. We had no problem making reservations with vendors or using the passes anywhere. The pass was easy to download and use. Our only issue was getting an error message when trying to pay for the passes online. It wouldn't accept a credit card so we just used PayPal for the purchase.

Positive experience: Make note when booking the Circle Island Tour on these passes: the entrance fee for the Byodo In Temple is INCLUDED as stated on the tour description on Go City Oahu website. We went on the tour in July, and the tour driver made each person on the bus pay him, and unknowingly we did!

Negative experience: My travel agent offered this GoCity package in good faith but from the moment we started to book excursions it was difficult. Customer service from Honolulu, what customer service? I kept on going back to my travel agent (who was doing the best she could) thinking it must be me being stupid. It wasn't me. The entire booking process is clunky (that means bloody hard work in English). My travel agent even invited me to sit alongside her on a Sunday morning so we could sort it out together but we still couldn't work it out. Simply put, the process is not user-friendly. I am now thinking of cancelling part if not all excursions I have booked because if I am having this much trouble now what was the experience going to be like. By reading other Google Reviews I wish I had stayed away sooner. After submitting the above Googel Review the company replied immediately and asked me to email them so we could sort this out. We did do as requested but a week later they still have not bothered to responed or comment further. We find that rude, insulting, and a continuation of 'we do not care'.

Negative experience: App is not user friendly, difficult to contact customer service, some of the most appealing attractions were unavailable, and the all inclusive pass only allows for 1 “premium event,” so it is NOT “all-inclusive.”This pass is worth it only if you can book all reservations in advance and if you do multiple activities with the pass each day. Otherwise, it’s best to pay for each activity separately as needed

Negative experience: Not worth the money every place says one thing but doesn’t understand the pass…a lot of different lines to be in to get into the attractions and no directions or understanding behind it, just pay a la cart especially since all attractions aren’t close by, with ride share doesn’t help you with cost better if you had a vehicle but then you would pay for parking. So it is up to you but most places I went to don’t know how the passes worked,

Negative experience: every activity magically cancelled or attempted less than 24 hour before. They were booked weeks in advance, no customer service, and if you want a refund "see our FAQ section on our website" save your money and your vacation.

Negative experience: Don’t book these guys! Save your money and book with a different company. They have horrible customer service, which answers in different call centers internationally. I asked for supervisor multiple times and they did not want to transfer me to a supervisor to resolve the issue that we were having. They told me that a supervisor was gonna call me back, but never called me back even after two hours. So I had to call again. We booked our Go City back in December when it was all inclusive, but now apparently they changed it to where certain attractions and events are separate in a different pass. Now that we are in Hawaii seven months later trying to do our attractions now we can’t do them because they changed the pass. It’s not fair to us cause we booked it back in December and they didnt want to honor our all inclusive pass that we purchased or at least even honor the attractions that we wanted to do that are not available now on the current go city pass. They didn’t even email me or the group that changes were being made to the Go City pass or even offer a refund to the original all inclusive Go City so that we can change or purchase different passes that will fit our itinerary. They said that everybody had a three month chance to get it honored. But it’s not fair to anybody and to us who purchased the pass before they made changes to the Go City pass. They should honor everybody that purchased the Go City Pass before they made the current changes. For example, people could plan a vacation one year in advance before go city made changes to the Go City pass so the logic of only honoring it for three months after they changed the rules of the pass doesn’t make sense and is not logical. Now we’re stuck with plans that we are not able to do that we wanted to do originally, and also on top of that ruin our vacation time. We spent four hours trying to contact Go City trying to find a supervisor and cut into our vacation time which is unacceptable and ridiculous.

Negative experience: Avoid avoid avoid waste of money and time.
Negative experience: Bought a 3 days pass and was really disappointed. Most of the activities offered are free or low cost so you don’t really need the pass to enjoy them. We had two activities canceled for no reason the night before and we couldn’t reschedule another one since everything was full or too far from our location. Tried to call customer service and had no answer after a 2h wait. Save your money and don’t buy their passes. It ended up costing us more than if we had paid individually even with the premium activity.
Negative experience: Do not buy this!!! They will not take any responsibility, if one of the vendors cancel your tour and tell you the day before the tour. Their refund is 5% of the cancelled tour.
Fantastic experience: I wanted to share an amazing experience I had with a terrific driver/ tour guide/ a loving person by the name Rocky . Rocky was very knowledgeable of all the history about each and every place we stopped at. Not only did I see the most beautiful and interesting places. I learned a lot. So I thank you for allowing me to share my first experience in Hawaii a great one.
Negative experience: I brought a couple of 5 day gocity passes, worked okay at the start then the last couple days we had activities cancel and reschedule causing clashes with activities. As you have to pre book a lot of the activities we were unable to fill in our remaining days with other activities on the pass so we only really used 3/5 days of the pass. Contacted gocity with all cancellations and reschedule documentation and was told I need to contact the vendors and ask why even though it was outlined in their email. Gocity took no responsibility and offered no assistance in rectifying. Save your time and money and go elsewhere.
Fantastic experience: Well worth to get the city pass
Negative experience: You should read carefully for rental mope and bike. We went rental shop. They do not have bike at all. Also, rental mope is not a free you should pay fee behind.
Negative experience: Awful. Everything was fully booked, or they wanted extra money. I feel would have been cheaper to take the bus places and pay at the door. Half the stuff is free anyway. Just overpriced rides.. Discounts are better in person. Soooo disappointed. Felt is a waste of money.
Fantastic experience: Great value. Previously used one of these passes before in NYC so already knew what to expect. Went to Polynesian Culture Center, Island Tour, Snorkling, and Luau. I could have done more but didn’t due to poor planning on my part. If you do decide to buy make sure you plan and book ahead of time since most places require prior notice.
Negative experience: I want to share my disappointing experience with GO City Passes. I purchased the 7-day all-inclusive Oahu pass, specifically attracted by the premium offering at "Sea Life Park," which included Dolphin Aloha and Hawaiian Reef Encounter. However, while booking, I discovered that one activity was under construction, and the other was unavailable. Instead of the advertised attractions, they offered a replacement activity not mentioned on Go City website. When I reached out to Go City customer service for a solution, they only suggested an extra day on the pass, which was impractical for my plans. Despite my request to reclassify the attraction as regular due to false advertising, GO City remained uncooperative. Their indifferent response and failure to address the issue reveal a lack of commitment to customer satisfaction. I caution potential customers to be wary of GO City's deceptive practices and subpar customer service.
Positive experience: When I go to Oahu I always get one of these passes. As long as you plan things in advance you will get your money's worth and then some. The only reason I'm giving a 4 star rating and not 5 is a change in rules which weren't communicated, which caused an embarrassing moment trying to go out luau. Before your premium attraction didn't need to be scheduled on one of your active days of your pass. Now it does which kind of sucks.

Negative experience: The go pass to Oahu is a spam. Most of the sites included are free or less than 10 dollars while described as way higher. The Moana Splash Luauis is a fake “Polynesia“ village and I feel stupid visiting there. NOT WORTH IT AT ALL.

Negative experience: A mix of discounted al a carte activities that can be enjoyed over the course of multiple days would be extremely thoughtful/ and recognize different needs for those with disabilities, and other access needs. For someone with a disability, it would be nice to see al a carte activities that can be enjoyed over multiple days, as it’s not possible for me and likely others to do 3+ activities a day to get the most bang for your buck. Go city- its 2023, please look at considering other options for customers purchasing activities that better support inclusivity.

Negative experience: Our family purchased GoCity Oahu for our trip and experienced multiple difficulties. Although we made reservations in advance for our tours, we were rescheduled for two of them. Thankfully, the rescheduling occurred in such a way that we could accommodate their new schedule for us, but that was fortunate. Then, the worst part was that the day before we left as we were about to leave our resort to meet the tour bus to go to Pearl Harbor, we were notified that the tour group had not secured our tickets to go to the Arizona as we would not be allowed to experience that part of the tour. This was happening at the end of our visit, so there was no possibility of rescheduling this tour. For some of my family, this was the main attraction they had hoped to see and to be notified that this reservation, which we had made months in advance and confirmed multiple times, was not completed by the company was beyond disappointing. I am now in the process of planning another trip and considering a similar type of pass for the next city my family visits. Due to this experience, I will likely not be choosing the GoCity pass and will find one of the others or choose a different option since I clearly can't trust GoCity to follow through on what I pay for with their passes. UPDATE: I'd like to add an update that Go City reached out to me requesting the opportunity to rectify this situation. My family of 9 people paid almost $2,500 for our Go City Oahu passes and their idea of compensating us for our disappointments was to offer us $30.49. Although I suggested that this was hardly a way to begin to rectify our disappointment, especially considering how much we paid and how much reimbursement was being offered, there was no offer to change or offer any other type of compensation.

Negative experience: Our all-inclusive passes expired well before the time we were told they would. The website and app have conflicting information about when the pass will expire after activation. Under FAQs on the website it states that - "if you have a three-day pass and activate it on the first day of your vacation, you'll then have 13 calendar days to use the remaining two days of your pass." In the app, FAQs also states that all-inclusive passes can be used over 14 days. However Terms and Conditions lists that activation is based off "consecutive days" of when you activate the pass. We were only able to use a few of the activities we booked with this pass. Despite having a reservation with the Go City pass, our pass "expired" 10 days earlier than advertised.

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience with this pass- even though we traveled in busy August, we didn't have any issues. I bought the pass directly from the website and downloaded the app with the attractions about two months in advance. After reading some of their recommended activity combos, I began to make my own bookings. I didn't have any issue booking or showing up and scanning my pass using the app. Overall, I highly recommend this pass if you book early and you have the time to site down and plan out your trip properly!
Fantastic experience: We did the 5 day pass and had 2 tours a day scheduled. It was a LOT but a great experience.
Negative experience: We purchased this experience through Groupon. It was a total disaster. If you buy it, do not go through a third party. Their reservation system does not work if you try to book it through a third party. It was an incredibly stressful experience with none of the reservations we made showing up. If you want to do any of the excursions like dolphin encounters and Kuala ranch you need to book a month in advance. This pass requires precision, and lots of planning and it is incredibly hard to go to too many attractions, in Hawaii most places open late and closes early. Keep that in mind when you plan your day. Also a lot of things are all day adventures and going there for a few hours after driving a distance is also not worthwhile.
Positive experience: Can be a good value if you plan ahead and confirm the attractions you want are available. The reservation system can be frustrating and may result in premature activation of your card if the venue prematurely scans or uses your pass # to make your reservation. This happened to my family where my card was activated on the day I made reservations (not the day we started visiting attractions), making it unusable on the last day of our planned activities. Customer service was responsive and resolved the issue, hence the 4th star in my rating. But if I hadn't suspected the issue and called in advance, we might have been stuck come day 3.
Negative experience: Not worth the money!! After using the pass 1 day in Waikiki we realized the rest of the options were mostly on north shore and all within the same time frames in the morning so it would not have been possible to do more than 1 thing a day like they advertised or even get close to equal out what we paid for the passes, also everything is also booked out months in advance. Your better off just scheduling and paying for your activities with the vendor itself. And if you email them they will only offer a 10% refund.

Positive experience: This Go City pass is supposed to save you money. The problem is you paya pretty penny. Especially if you have family or a group who pay foe multiple days.. This is the first time I ha e a difficulty with the city pass. I have used the CITY PASS in Seattle, Hollywood/ Los Angel's/ Texas/ San Francisco. Possibly under 3stumated or didn't research about Oahu Hawaii. I paid over $600 for myself and my two adult kids 22 & 18. I paid for a 3day pass. Which was a waste plus paying for 3 flights from California and 7 night stay in Waikki. Very beautiful but I paid a little of extra money to do things. That our city pass should have covered. Today I paid for extra day pass tour around the island. We learned so much about the island which it costed an extra $375 on top of plane tickets and our condimimeimum. And $600+ for our City Pass (which was a waste) you charge a customer. You should be honest and want repeat customers WORD OF MOUTH$$$

Positive experience: Been to Oahu many times and thought we'd try the Go Oahu pass this time. We got a 3 day pass and did Kualoa Ranch (upgraded to Movie Tour), Polynesian Cultural Centre, catamaran boat cruise, SeaLife Park, Ka Moana Luau (our 1 premium attraction), Pearl Harbour, North Shore Soap Factory tour and Wet N'Wild. Pros: pretty good value if you try to cram as much in each day, activities offered are varied and really quite good, as we got the 3 day pass we were able to do a luau as our premium attraction which was one of the highlights for our kids. Cons: need to cram activites in your days to get value which means for long tiring days, most activities will require you to drive to other areas of the island so you do need a car. Ensure you read all the instructions. Due to COVID some attractions that didn't need reservations now require it. All the activites we chose were great except the catamaran, it was slightly boring, they just drive you out, sail around and go back. You do get beautiful views of Wakiki though. And SeaLife Park. Super small and you feel sorry for the animals as the enclosures are so small. As for Kuoloa Ranch just be mindful of the options you have as the choices are a bit misleading. We originally wanted to do the Aina Tour bit couldn't find any availability. After speaking to a rep he said that they join that tour to other ones to offer a longer tour and so most seats are reserved for those who want to do the longer tour which isn't available to Go Oahu pass holders, which also means it's next to impossible for us to book that tour. That being said we upgraded to the movie tour so maybe it worked out for the best. Also the code for the upgrade is not correct, you need to contact Kuoloa to get the correct code if you are upgrading. Glad we did it, we got entrance into some really fun attractions!
Positive experience: Was pretty disappointed, I bought this pass and half the things are no where near wakiki. So it will cost you an arm and a leg getting there by uber or 3 hours by bus. So a lot of things weren't doable. A lot of things were premium so vouldnt do a lot of things. Still managed to save money overall but was fairly disappointed. Took forever booking reservations over the phone too. I'd look very carefully how accessible the activities actually are
Negative experience: Piss poor service. Our premium attraction canceled and rebooked forcing us to use the card on an unplanned day. Go Card was less than empathetic to our situation and would not extend the card forcing us to cancel an entire planned day on the card. For the amount of money spent for these cards I expect better from a company. Not to mention it took 3 phone calls with poor service and an email before I heard from someone. When I called I was told I’d have to wait 2 days for a response. That is a horrible time frame for a card that is time sensitive. I wouldn't recommend this card to my worst enemy. Not to mention the amount of hoops I had to jump through to book services … again not worth it for the amount of money spent.

Negative experience: Don't by this pass! After purchasing two cards during my visit, the card got activated for one event. I called customer service for help and they didn't reach out until the 2nd day. I told them my situation and how the I couldn't book any of the events I wanted to explore. The reservations had to be placed like a month in advanced because that what I was told by one of the merchants or the facility only allowed a number of Go City pass to the event. I was out of luck. I've been trying to call customer service and the only thing I get back is 10% of the amount I spent of $372. I asked for a manager and I haven't received a call from him and still waiting. I don't think this is fair where this company wants to pocket money that was not even use at all.
Negative experience: SCAM: We have been trying to get a refund for a over a week. We tried to call, email, and post a message on whatsapp, no response. The policy clearly states that a full refund is available within 14 days. However, we can not get a hold of anyone. Extremely unprofessional.

Positive experience: We were bummed when the other tours were sold out but settled on secret island. We got to kayak, paddleboard, go on a boat tour, saw some sea turtles and relaxed on the beach. Turned out to be a great time and we didn't feel like we missed out anymore.
Positive experience: This saves you time. A must have if you want to check out a few attraction. Book your attractions early best ones fill up a month or more ln advance.
Negative experience: Custom Service is non existent from this company! Having called for the last 4 days and being told no Supervisor was available and that I would receive a call back, I sit here on day 5 on hold once again trying to get someone on the phone. All calls are being answered in Costa Rica and there is never a supervisor available to help with a refund! DO NOT PURCHASE GOCARDS from this Company!!

Positive experience: It does save you money but you have to plan out everything accordingly and it’ll make your schedule tight since different events are located in opposite sides of the island. Many things to do only give you a specific time when you are able to do them

Negative experience: Using Go Oahu was a logistical nightmare. The Polynesian Cultural Center validated our pass the day after we attended using up one day out of our 3 day pass. This was because the GoOahu passes weren’t loading when I tried to bring it up due to a 503 Bad Gateway and the ones I had saved on my phone weren’t validating. This caused us to miss the dolphin encounter attraction that we had already reserved since I was on the phone with the Go Oahu team and the Polynesian cultural center to figure how we can still access the third day of our pass After contacting them both well over 24 hrs in advance, they couldn’t fix it unless they got in touch with the Polynesian Cultural Center, but all customer service reps gave up after a 20 min hold due to policies and procedures. I was told I would get a call back within a certain time frame to get updates. Never got a call back so I had to call back 3 times despite waking up at 6 AM to call them to reach them in Eastern Time for them to issue a pass that didn’t even work. I had to sort things out with both SeaLife Park, Polynesian Cultural Center and GoOahu only to not be able to see the dolphins and to only be able to access two out of the three days of my pass due to errors on both their fault and the fault of Polynesian Cultural Center. SeaLife also would charge me around $300 for making a reservation but not being able to make it. All around made my vacation a stressful mess juggling around phone calls with the attractions and wasted my money because they couldn’t figure it out with each other. In the end the customer suffered.

Negative experience: It's ridiculous. 31 attractions out of 43 attractions need reservation in advance. Plan to spend days just calling these places, because so far none of them have answered my calls on this Monday morning. Hung up after being on hold for 30 mins with Polynesian Cultural center. Kualao wants $15 to make reservations over the phone, and even then won't answer the phone. Ka Moana Lau and Makani Catamaran won't answer the phone either. And the websites don't have a way to honor your Go Oahu pass online. Skip this pass and make reservations with the websites if you must. Looks like we'll just be lying on the beach for a week in Hawaii for the next week.

Fantastic experience: We decided to give these a try after my sister recommended them. I was pretty impressed with the selection for activities. It would be neat to have a few more choices for the big activities. Our goal was to make it to 7 or 8 activities to make it worth it. HA Breath of Life show, was incredible and beautiful. There's quite a few options for different Pearl Harbor memorial sites. We all loved Kualoa Ranch, actually used the passed to go there twice for different activities. We're still not finished and have a few more stops planned. Can't wait!

Negative experience: problems with checkout. They make it too hard and there is no actual customer service number.
Negative experience: Due to a global epidemic and nursing school I wasn’t able to use the Ohau pass. I won’t be able to use it within the time frame they’ve allotted me. Don’t listen when they advertise risk free. They arent the understanding, helpful, and cost saving company they pretend to be. I’m out hundreds while in nursing school. I wish I could give them 0 stars. You’d think they would make exceptions for a WORLD epidemic. Horrible business practice and their responses to other reviews solidifies my Ill feelings toward this company.
Negative experience: Do Not buy the pass! The company will not accommodate your request even under this unprecedented travel restriction. I tried to cancel fro their end before the original travel date as soon as my flight and hotel were cancelled. Since it's impossible to get to Expedia, I asked them to cancel my booking from their end. The company refused to help or even extend the pass to Mar 2021 since I reserved the pass in Dec 2019. There is no way I can make it to Honolulu by the end of 2019. The situation is fast changing, but the company lacks the social responsibility to ease the stress and make them lose money as they only care about money even at this challenging time for everyone in the world. Never will I trust this company again when we are safe to travel!

The premium experience that comes with the 3day pass makes up for the value of the pass alone. I would hands down recommend for anyone interested in exploring Oahu.

Fantastic experience: We went on the day trip to tour Oahu and swim with turtles. Dirk was our driver and guide and he was a wealth of information and a lot of fun. The snorkeling wasn't at the best place. Shallow and murky water, not very colorful. Only two of us out of twenty saw a turtle. We had lunch at Fumi's shrimp farm and it was great. Made several stops along the way and the day went by fast. Great way to start a vacation. Thanks Dirk for the great day.

Fantastic experience: This is a great way to see the island. You must buy at least the 3 day pass to see a premium attraction. The card includes great activites for everyone including tours, snorkeling, hiking, boat rides, luaus, and museums. I highly recommend using it for the Polynesian Center, Pearl Harbor, and the All Day Bus Tour around the island (do the tour first so you get a better idea of which planes to visit/ revisit) Definitely worth it!

Negative experience: I came to Oahu three years ago and bought the Go Oahu card and it was super useful and fun. Lots of activities, non stop adventure. I'm currently in Oahu right now and bought the Go Oahu card and realized it is not as worth as it used to be. Half the "tickets" on there are just shuttle rides and SELF guided tours. If you have a car, parking is free at the attractions and you aren't time restricted. So $350 for 7 days of shuttle rides is completely not worth. Probably could've been cheaper just picking the different attractions one by one. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND...pretty upsetting how cheap/bad the card is now compared to before.

Fantastic experience: I have gotten the Oahu Go Cards 3 times and I am so impressed always, I tell EVERYONE to get them and they do and are also so happy. Anyone who lives here knows what a great deal these Oahu Go Cards are. I'ts fun, easy and I have never had a problem ever. I love them. Planning is good especially going to the Polynesian Cultural Center. the whole day there with All the shows is the BEST. Enjoy Everyone.

Fantastic experience: We went to Hawaii on the 29/08/2018. We had purchased a Go Oahu hard through our travel agent but was a little concerned about it after reading reviews and speaking to some people here in Melbourne. But I shouldn’t have worried!! We loved it. You just need to get organised before you get there. I went through the list of excursions and chose exactly what we wanted to do. When we arrived in Hawaii we went straight to get our cards and started booking our tours. To get the most out of this card though I think a car is needed. We hired a car from Melbourne, much cheaper to do that, and managed to go from attraction to attraction. The Oahu day tour was great for the first tour. It gets you familiar of your surroundings and we went back to spots we didn’t get a lot of time at on the tour. We had the 3 day pass but we should have got the 5 day. So much to do!!! Not one attraction knocked us back and all were very aware of the Go Oahu card. Just be organised!!!!
Positive experience: We mostly liked the go Oahu card. One of the things we didnt like was the fact that you can't do more than 1 tour a day at Kailua ranch. We were aware of it before buying but when we were trying to schedule them is when it became difficult. Our whole day was usually divided in going in that direction for 1 tour then going in complete different direction for rest of day. We loved the tours just would have liked to do more than 1 a day. Maybe you could change the limit to at least 2 a day.
Fantastic experience: Great value! Easy to use and widely accepted. All of the places where we used the card were very familiar with the process and made it simple for us. We had a large family group and did some things all together and some things in smaller groups. It was very convenient!
