Fantastic experience: I was very impressed by their customer service. Less than a week before our vacation, one of my family members ended up in the ICU. We had to cancel the trip. They got me a full refund without any cancelation charges. When everybody is healthy again I will be sure to come back to Vacations Hawaii.

Negative experience: There were over 40 people that booked thru Vacations Hawaii on our flight to Vegas on Hawaiian Air. Many of them including myself and my daughter were seated far apart even though we booked months in advance and had confirmed seats. After calling Vacations Hawaii, they said there was nothing they could do, and Hawaiian Air blamed it on Vacations Hawaii. My suggestion is DO NOT book Vacations Hawaii if you want to have your trip to start off with a negative experience! They should compensate everyone affected by this complete mess up in seating!

Negative experience: Their website can be confusing so I booked a trip, I picked my hotel and then it asked me for my dates. I entered my dates. I figured after I selected my hotel I was gonna pick an airline or something. No where on the website did it say "flight not included" I wasn't aware that I needed to book a "group travel" since it was only my boyfriendand & I traveling. I called to clarify why I didn't see any flight information in my confirmation email. Even tho the booking says "passengers/guests" and then on the hyper link to show you "additional fees & baggage information" it populated a hawaiian airlines disclosure. The company is charging me $50.00 to cancel my hotel even tho I am canceling within 24hours. Only way to avoid the $50 fee is to book the flights with them at over $1000.00 per person. I wouldn't recommend using their assistance when trying to book a vacation. Priceline for 2 people hotel and flight round trip is less than $1000. I wish I could post a screen shot showing you how confusing it is. I think I should've been refunded the 50 bucks. Wasn't like I canceled a week later or days before. What a shame.

Fantastic experience: Dana Tsuchitori was a great help when I needed to make last minute arrangements to join my dad in Las Vegas. My dad had been having more trouble getting around safely so I felt that I needed to keep an eye on him. Dana helped make the arrangements so that I could go and got me a great price! I am so thankful for him!

Fantastic experience: So glad they have a few outdoor tables! This is true comfort food. The deserts are made by the owner on-site and are AWESOME! The rest of the food is good too lol.

Positive experience: I would have given this place 5 stars but I did call and staff person took message twice plus I sent email on their website but no one replied after several days. I had to call back and I was lucky to get Dana who helped me. Kudos to Dana for his exceptional service, friendly, professional help in resolving my issue!

Positive experience: People of Hawaii who love to go 9th island Goes through Vacations I tried booking last minute to Vegas for month of May there nothing available up until three (3) months later in August The summer is booking up fast since Vegas opened up again and there should be parties galore at hotel pools side event everywhere is heating up . . . I usually lay by the pool side cooling off till my room ready you should check out some pools are out of this world and the ladies in wading pool too lol They lost their Omnibus for now so there’s no Special fare $799 fares anymore so sad But I’m still heading over to Vegas planning to finding some new places to dine if you know of any-places let me know thanks Away we go

Fantastic experience: Been flying with Vacations Hawaii to Vegas since retiring from the US Army in 1995. Once a year every year, only missing the COVID-19 mess. It’s the greatest deal ever, fight, hotel, meals, family like escorts and services personnel, all part of the package. They even take special care of you in emergencies, like going the the hospital 6 hours before your flight home departs, or helping you find your lost aunty that you havenʻt seen for 24 hours. I use to think that aunty Haunani was the only agent at the VH office. Seems like she was the only one answering the phone. But top rate service all the time. Aunty always knew what you wanted before you asked. I really miss your you guys, Vacations Hawaii, seems like itʻs been more than a year plus. Thank you for your service, thank you for coming back. Stay well, stay blessed, stay safe.

Fantastic experience: In this time of Covid-19 I still got to be in Vegas 7-11-21! Omni cancelled but they got me a flight with Hawaiian Airlines. They were able to make good on their package deal I had paid for. Vacations Hawaii is the FIRST place I call! I love the escort service to and from Vegas!

Positive experience: Sometimes calling the office to speak to an agent can be a challenge. They don't sound too friendly. So, I emailed someone there instead. His name is Russ Gouveia. I originally purchased a travel package for December 2021, however I needed to change the travel date to November instead. Russ was very helpful! He is the person to go to if you need assistance.

Fantastic experience: This was my husband and I 1st time flying with vacation Hawaii and omni air. We didn't know what to expect but the people within our circle told us that they are fantastic. And yes they are. The online website is very useful and straight forward. I had the pleasure of going to the actual office to pay for our trip. Their was a wait and only on rep at the time we went but no big deal.The representative was kind and she explained everything. Everything was super simple on the day of travel. My husband and I immediately noticed how much of our senior community books with Vacations. Fay take very good care of our seniors. We are both in our 30s and we had the opportunity to speak and learn from our elders on the flight. I even got a potato macaroni salad recipe. The only feature we did not utilise was the transportation service because we had rented a car. I recommend vacations to anyone who is travelling that wants a seamless experience and for caretakers who are taking the elderly on a trip. Look no further because vacations has the answer.

Negative experience: Due to covid our trip was rescheduled from march to November which was fine. I understand. Then at the beginning of last month august 5 they sent me an email saying they would send out refund check. Its now sept 15. And i have a few emails and calls that have not been returned and still waiting for my $2000 that i could be using for my family....

Positive experience: It has been years since I've used Vacations Hawaii, but when I did use them I had an easy time booking and making all the arrangements for me and 3 other friends. The time of the flights seemed restricted like mostly morning but it was fine. Also we didnt feel rushed to buying a package when I first called regarding packages.

Positive experience: It's a great value for flight, hotel, transportation to and from the airport and meal tickets. The staff we dealt with were very nice and helpful. However, we had a horrible fellow passenger approach my family and I, who started saying very mean and uncalled for comments. She was an older Japanese woman who was a miserable human being. We had our kids with us, one of which was 1 years old. She made some noise on the flight, but we did our best to distract her and keep her happy. Hello, babies will make noise!!! She was stuck in a small space and wanted to crawl around. But there is not much room for her to do that on an airplane. This horrible woman told us we were rude, bad parents and we should have done more to keep her quiet. This woman should not be allowed to harass families with small children. Vacations Hawaii should have done something to keep that woman quiet and make us feel more comfortable. We had to fly back home with this evil woman.

Fantastic experience: I recently returned from a stay at the California hotel in Las Vegas through Vacations Hawaii and I have been telling everyone I know how courteous, professional and pleasant the staff were during my stay. My room was promptly and thoroughly serviced everyday. The hotel is perfect for those people who enjoy close access to the excitement of Vegas without being on top of it . I like that it's far enough to have a peaceful time if you choose and close enough to get to the action. Admittedly, i wasn't expecting to enjoy it because I've always stayed on the strip. Now, I wouldn't stay anywhere else. Thanks Vacations Hawaii for such a seamless reservation and your food recommendation was spot on. The Redwood was phenomenal!

Positive experience: The reservation personnel are all very nice and helpful. The planes seating is a bit tight in the Premium and Coach seating but I still go with Vacations Hi cause they take care of the luggage. Once you check in at the Airport, they have the bags delivered to your room about 1 to 2 hrs after landing, many times its sooner then that, also transportation to and from airport is provided and also 3 meals a day coupons are included for the length of your stay.
