COMPASS TRAVEL

Negative experience: These people are a scam. They lied to my partner and I. We signed up for a joint account and they attacked my credit and my good faith. Capital one sent me a letter within 48 hours saying this company is fraudulent. My bank says they are fraudulent and I am done with shady people. Don't go to the seminar they are not legit. They do not use their business name to file for your credit application. It states in house financing on their paperwork. Zero percent interest and 69 dollars a month for their 6970 travel package. They used someone's name got into my credit card account and charged my personal account after I stated that I did not want them to use it for anything other than checking my credit. They lied they scammed and now they are harassing me and I'm about to file suit on them after I asked nicely to cancel anything with my partners and myself information. THEY ARE SCAMMERS. BEWARE. IM HAVING TO GET A LAWYER TO GET RID OF THEM!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I have use Compass Travel many times. ALWAYS! Had everything go well. Would HIGHLY recommend them for all your travel needs. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Having someone you can trust to make sure your vacation goes as hassle free as possible is very important in this day and age.

Fantastic experience: I learned how to travel more economically - and safely - by following Compass' suggestions for planning and packing. Now I always fully understand where I'm going before I even get out my (5th!) passport, having already worked out the contingencies with Compass.

Fantastic experience: They were so good to work with! They picked an absolutely amazing resort for our honeymoon, and made the planing so easy! I highly recommend them, they nailed it!

Negative experience: 1st off we were given papers for our flight but 2 weeks later there was still no charge on our charge card. I had to call the agency to book our flight. 2nd, we were called to pick up our papers for our trip. When we got there, they did not have transfer arrangements for us so they had to do that while we were there. 3rd, they did not arrange transfer from the airport to the hotel. 4th my name was listed wrong on the boarding pass and transfer documents for the cruise lines. I had to call NCL to get my name corrected on that. If I didn't change that myself I would have had problems boarding the ship. 5th, the agency printed our luggage tags for the cruise lines in black and white instead of orange so I had to change that myself. 6th, the Speedy Shuttle was scheduled to pick us up at the airport at 2:45a.m. when our flight was scheduled to arrive at 2:45p.m. The reason I found that out is because of everything else the agency did wrong I thought I better check on that myself also. In dealing with this agency, we ended up with 3 different travel agents because they kept leaving the company. I called Scott Knucle at Compass and told him all of the trouble we were having. His reaction was to scream at me because he couldn't handle the stress of not having competent employees. I'd like to rate this company with a big fat 0. I had to give them 1 star though because they don't give you an option to rate them 0. Needless to say, we will never use this agency again.

Fantastic experience: I was able to experience all that was outlined for this trip plus more. All accommodations and travel arrangements went smoothly. The professionalism and passion for a positive travel adventure by Compass Travel and Insight Vacations staff was greatly appreciated.

Fantastic experience: It is totally worth it to travel with Steven Johnson and use Compass Travel for your bucket list adventures. We just can back from a group tour to Tanzania with Steven. We appreciated his previous experience to this location and on other trips we have taken with him that make a difference for us. On the Tanzania trip he arranged for a special excursion on our first day that was a hit with everyone and he arranged a sunset boat ride and dinner at the end of the trip in Zanzibar that was spectacular. A great tour leader and a thoughtful, kind individual.
